November 1, 201113 yr I hate turkey. Like srsly. It's like sooooo dry, and it makes me tired T. T Turkeys are awesome. I always eat the leg.
November 1, 201113 yr Author Turkeys are awesome. I always eat the leg. I prefer the Thigh or Breast when I'm forced to eat it. But I only like the meatloaf they make...so much sawse and veggies =w=;
November 1, 201113 yr I was born on Thanksgiving And it falls on Thanksgiving again this year too. Nothing like having cake on top of a huge feast If the turkey is dry, you should ask your family if they can brine the turkey. It's simple to do and it makes it super moist and flavorful. Dark meat FTW
November 1, 201113 yr My parents both cook a turkey and a chicken. We get a couple of them too, since we have most of my dad's side of the family come over and they take TOOONS of leftovers home. We also have a lot of deserts, like my mom makes pumpkin pie and then I usually make some kind of cake. Then we have cookies and ice cream on the side. I think this year I'm going to make devil's food from scratch. Super excited (:!
November 1, 201113 yr I'm not going to be celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States this year. No I'm going to be in Paris, France this year for my sister's graduation present. Though I'm not sure what were going to do for Thanksgiving. I think were going to celebrating it in Paris maybe. It should be interesting :D
November 1, 201113 yr I cant wait for black friday. Its my first time this year and it sounds really fun. I mean come on its chaos in Walmart. What more could you ask for.
November 1, 201113 yr You're supposed to brine turkey so it's not dry. If not, then you can always put gravy on it. I usually celebrate Thanksgiving with my entire family, but this year it'll only be my mom, dad, and myself. I think it's better that way since we get all that great food to ourselves. We always have a big-ass ice cream cake afterwards, so I'm looking forward to it.
November 1, 201113 yr I cant wait for black friday. Its my first time this year and it sounds really fun. I mean come on its chaos in Walmart. What more could you ask for. My aunt, mom and sister always go shopping that friday early in the morning...they come back with the funniest stories of how people act...
November 1, 201113 yr My family always cooks 3 turkeys, a big bowl of buttered off the cob corn, these rolls of bread my grandma makes, cheesecake, and then everything else is whatever anyone feels like bringing. But those things are always the norm. I a.ways end up getting a bunch of turkey and corn and mixing both because I'm a pig.

November 2, 201113 yr You're doing it the american way, your not a pig c: I'm the only one who does it though so and we're mexican soooo :U
November 2, 201113 yr Last year I decided my mom's cooking wasn't sufficient enough to satisfy my taste so I forced her to only cook the food I didn't eat while I cooked everything else including the turkey which I don't mean to brag but I totally cooked that sucker like a pro. So yeah... I'm the cook now for most of the basics (Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, other veggies, and a few other things) because everyone loved it... OTL I only cook one desert, and it's this cream pie I made for my mom once that my family loves. :U Oh and Jello I guess but that's easy. /shot Meanwhile the family is in the other room having a wonderful time watching football.
