God, so yesterday I was watching videos of boys kissing and getting all depressed at how happy they looked. So I decided to watch videos of coming out stories, maybe to know how it was like for others.

I got to this video of a 12 year old coming out. I thought it was very nice, and i felt like I should try to talk to him and ask a few questions, however the video had just been reuploaded and the real uploader doesn't seem to even have a youtube account, but in the description it had a link saying for a site called the "gay youth corner", something like "I can't put you in contact with him, but you can join this site and talk about your sexuality" so I said why the hell not?

Turns out it was a big mistake. Not only did my introduction post get deleted, although all I said was that I was 12, bi, and wanted to talk to some people with the same problems and situations as me, perhaps same age too, but they don't let you enter chats just because they think you're not "a teen yet". Seriously, this is supposed to be about free right for everybody, but they just assume I'm still a complete child who doesn't even know what sex is and has no firetrucking idea of his sexuality?

firetruck them.

They didn't put you in the chat cuz.

1,There are ppl who don't think it right to be gay/bi so they go on the site and yell and all that crap.So maybe they didn't want you to get hurt.

2,The things they might talk about might be "Pg-13" Or Rated "R"

3,There where no 12 year old on the site. And they didn't want you to talk to somebody older then you.

That maybe why they didn't let you in the chat.

Although I kind of agree with khgirl here, believe it will be a one time only, what they did is inexcusable. They could've talked to you and warned you of the dangers of being put in chat and al that and THEN, if you so chose to, they would take you away from it. I remember at the age of 12 being a homophobic, like most people in my group. But that isn't called for here. People think that age, gender, sexual orientation, status, clothing, connections or whatever are what's important. They shouldn't have done that! If they boast about free right to come out of the closet, then rejected a person who is well aware of his sexuality, even though he still a pre-pubescent, is simply the pits! I don't encourage rising up against them, but if you ever meet anyone of your age that is about to join the website, just warn him of their hypocrisy and that they shouldn't join.
