Another Traverse Town in Minecraft Update

Posted

I figured I should change the area in the forum that I'm posting this stuff in... This seems better than the KH1 area. Anyways, for anyone that doesn't know, I'm re-creating Traverse Town in Minecraft. You should just check out my other threads if you need info. But anyways, I'm almost done with the city. All that's left is a little bit in the 3rd district, and then I have to connect that to the 2nd district. Almost all of the buildings have stuff in them, and I've got all of the hidden secrets scattered about. Oh yeah, I should mention that. I'm going to have a main hub area to take the blocks you find in these hidden chests to. There will be a platform for almost every block type. And there are tons of secret areas in the city, with chests to loot around in. But back on topic, once I'm done with the city, I'm going to work on the surrounding area. The town is going to be surrounded by some mountains (one of them containing the magician's study), with a few gardens and mountain homes in them. It'll just surround the city to make it feel secure and more atmospheric. Plus, having a random mountain for the magician's study cave looked a bit silly by itself, so I figured I'd make it balanced out. And I think it'll look good. I'm also going to add a bunch of gummi ships flying overhead, and possibly a docking station outside the world gate door. One final note is that this city is so much fun to do parkour in, lol. Half the time I find myself sprinting around doing combos and stuff instead of building. So I added lots of cool jumps and lines and a few ladders to make some areas more reachable and stuff. It should be fun to run around in. Alright, that's all for now. I'll probably post another thread once I've got the city done and the mountains started, so enjoy these pictures in the meantime.

I've been at it, on and off for a few months now. About 3.

That looks awesome.

I'll probably make a video/demo/trailer thingy once I'm all done with it, with like some KH music in the background or something. I'll post it to youtube whenever that happens.

Use the Traverse Town music.

Your Traverse Town is looking really good,

I was thinking about using Hand in Hand or just the regular theme. And thanks :)
