So what's the deal with keychains?

Posted

I wonder why keychains are so special? I pretty sure they're suppose to signify a keyblade master and keyblades without keychains are apprentice keyblades. Does that mean anybody can wield an unchained keyblade? Just curious what you guys think...

hmm, i guess i never really thought about it.

Keychains represent a certain keyblade a wielder is holding.

yeah cause in KH1 the way your keyblade changed was by adding a new keychain

the keychain is to power up your keyblade..alot of people are saying that no keycahins mean something but those were only seen in early scans..no in all the new scans almost everone has a keychain already :P

so it might be program dely where they did it quicky just to get some scans out before finishing the development

Maybe having a Keychain proves you are a Keyblade Master.

I thought at one point the keychains were like a showing of your experiance as you change and as your keyblade changes then so does your keychain

that probobly sounds realy dumb huh? :S

as kh-pro13 said, the keychains powerup the keyblade,it has nothing to prove if the wielder is really a true keyblade wielder.

I thought that a Keychain was what made a keyblade a different keyblade. Like and example would be that if u have Kingdom Key, and you put Kairi's lucky charm on it, it makes a new keyblade: Oathkeeper. That's how i thought they worded. Plus you can't have a key without an awesome keychain, lol.

It's a nice touch, though. For anyone who has tried animation, watching the keychains swinging around in cutscenes makes you appreciate the graphic designers a little bit more
