Posted November 26, 201113 yr The Good: I got cast in my high school's big play, which only had 6 roles avaliable. This is the first time I had ever auditioned for something like this as well. The Bad: I got cast as a female supporting role. How?

November 26, 201113 yr I once tried out for a role in Mulan (I tried out for the grandmother originally). But instead I got the part of Shang. I not only had to sing "I'll Make a Man Out Of You" with my extremely girly singing voice, but I also had to 'lovingly embrace' a Mulan that was taller than me. Anyway... They probably gave you that role because the other spots were taken up, but they still thought you were good enough to be in the play itself.
