In 1892 Van helsing had his dying wish to have his close friend cast a spell so his bloodline will reincarnate itself into certain children born, being reincarnated again and again if they die, in hopes of some of them realizing there ancestry. While some of Van helsing's descendants are killed by vampires or turned into ones before they even realize their potential, others who discover their super human strength, agility and the ability to sense vampires, become monster hunters and protect humans from the vampires, who's intentions are not yet clear. They also protect against other creatures who pose a threat to the humans, who are unknowing of the dangerous creatures out there (although I was kind of intending vampires to be the main antagonists). In This rp you can be either a descendant of Van helsing or any other creature, good or evil. (run the species by me though so I can approve it)

Rules:

•Basic rp rules, like no killing characters without permission etc.

•It is possible for you to turn someone's character into something, but you might want to prompt that your going to turn them so they can decide for themselves whether they wanna turn or not

•using storylines from other anime's/games is not reccomended as it can get confusing if you go off into your own story. But of course you are allowed to have your own background story

•you can have a very weak or powerful character, but you have to lose sometimes or there's no point.

•so that I know you've read the rules put your favorite color at the bottom of your sign up sheet

Sign up sheet:

Once I see that there are actually people interested, I'll put up my own character bio. The first vampire character posted up here will have the option to be the leader of the vampires if they wish btw.

Morgan got up, still in the clothes she was wearing and changed into her pj's, which were baggy grey sweatpants, and a black t-shirt on. She then went to open her bedroom door, only to find a strange figure standing there. She started to back away. "what are you doing in my house?" she said very frightened.

Her dad approached the strange figure from behind with an old family katanna in hand.

"I came for information." Olivier stepped forward through the door, ignoring the blade behind her. Her pale complexion only grew paler in the moonlight, the cloak lightly fluttering as she moved. "You saw the attack on my castle, did you not? They were what my clan calls 'new vampires'. A wasted lot." She quickly scanned the room. It seemed this human was a witch. Interesting.

"I have come not only to ascertain what you know of these vampires, but to assess your..." She paused, looking down on the girl. "Potential, whatever that may be."

"H...how...?" The thrall choked out.

"Vampires ain't invincible, kid." Bran said, tossing the dead vampire's head on the fire.

Bran causally picked up his revolver from the ground and re-holstered it.

"Nether are their thralls, kid." He said in a dark tone. "I suggest you run and not to the vampires."

The kid swallowed and did as he was told. Bran sighed and got in his car. Not bad for first day in tone.

Morgan had a half frightened, half confused face. "What the heck are you talking about? Vampires? Potential? Your crazy!" She backed away even more.

Her dad made a quick run at the figure with his katanna. "get away from my daughter you creeeep!" he said as he lunged at the figure.

as John was walking into town, it started to rain a little, that's when he started to smell something. "Ok, why do i smell wet dog?" asked John. his question was soon answered when he was tackled to the ground. "Oh, c'mon, a werewolf to?!" said John as he punched the werewolf off. as John walked over to the werewolf, he reloaded his revolvers with silver bullets. "Sweet dreams, big boy." said John. but as John was about to pull the trigger, the werewolf got up and threw him towards some nearby houses, causing him to crash into a wall. "Ok, you wanna play rough, i can play rough to." said John as he ran at the werewolf. the sound of gunshots and walls crumbling now filled the air as they fought.

Bran drove for a bit then pulled out a note pad. It had a list of names of possible Van Helsing decedents. He always got a kick out of meeting other decedents. Like finding lost family. He flipped through the names and stopped at one that made him raise his eyebrows.

"Morgan la Fay?"He said, reading the name again.

She was under the list of names of 'maybe, but not likely.' The name pecked his interest. Might as well at least cross her off as a possibility. Looking up her address, he typed it into his GPS and followed its directions.

Olivier spun around, grabbing the katana by the blade's edge. She could feel the warmth of blood trickling down her arm as she tightened her grip on the weapon, putting the tip of her finger on the man's forehead. Her freezing touch quickly warmed up as the blood rushed to her finger. "Humans." She scoffed. "I recommend you refrain from such brash actions in the future."

Olivier pushed the man back through the doorway with her finger, the blade slicing across her palm. She licked the wound before flexing her hand, turning her attention back to Morgan. "You are a witch, are you not? I believe that I may have a charge for you, my dear. Something that I can trust with no vampire."

Morgan grabbed her dad and sat him down. She turned back to the figure and began to grow a bit angry now. "Now your talking about witches? Who are you? What are you talking about? What do you want?"

"My name is... was... Olivier Ferencz, and I am now leader of the Ferencz Clan of vampires. I was once human, like you, but the Gift..." She paused to look at her skin in the moonlight.

"My castle... it is home to countless relics and histories of my people. My true people. Not these parasites that litter our world now. What you saw earlier was an averted catastrophe." Olivier's blood-red eyes shone in the darkness. "If they were to get their hands on those relics, the world your people strive to protect may cease to exist. And for that reason, I need someone who cannot wield that power themselves. I need a human." She pointed to Morgan.

"Preferably, one with magical properties."

She grunted. "do you know what you sound like right now? I'm not a witch I have no idea what your talking about." she looked out the window as the sun began to rise in the distance.

Olivier glanced out the window. The sun was rising. While it posed no threat to her physically, it would be hard to remain inconspicous in broad daylight. She turned back to Morgan. "The castle you saw yesterday. Return to it, should you feel the need to... save your race." The way she said the last few words would imply a grin would follow, but Olivier simply dematerialized through the window, slipping through the bushes before vanishing.

She checked under the cloak, eyeing the glowing glyph. There were hunters nearby. Helsings, no doubt. And now was not a good time to get caught up with them.

Morgan sighed a sigh of relief. Her dad stood up. "I'm calling the police, she's not getting away with this." he went to leave, but Morgan grabbed his shoulder. "Dad, did you not hear what she said? And did you not see how she just turned into mist? I don't know what the heck's going on, but I doubt the cops can do anything." she grabbed a change of her usual clothing, went into the bathroom to quickly get dressed, and began to leave.

"Where are you going?" He asked curiously with a slight frightened tone that remained when the strange woman left.

"The library." was all she said before she left.

Bran was outside Morgan's house when she left. He could feel the remaining traces of a Vampire's presence. One had been inside. Morgan's likely hood of being a Van Helsing seemed to be getting better. Bran got out of his car and walked towards Morgan.

"Morgan la Fay?" He asked.

He gave her a smile and extended his hand.

"I'm Bran Helsin, and I'm here about your vampire problem."

John was still fighting off the werewolf when the sun started rising and the werewolf ran off. "Is that it, is that all you've got?" asked John. John then saw a car pull up just as someone was exiting one of the houses. John noticed that the one coming out of the car had a revolver. "Hey, you, with the revolver, you're a Helsing, aren't ya?"

Morgan sighed. "oh great, more creeps talking about monsters." she said to herself. She turned towards the direction of the library and began to run.

Bran gave a confused look to John then started to call after Morgan, but she was already too far. Bran heaved a sigh and looked back to John. He wasn't too sure about this guy. There were plenty of magical creatures that hated the Helsings. This guy didn't feel like a vampire or a were, but best be safe.

"I might be." He replied, his tone a little annoyed. "Than again I could just be a weirdo who likes revolvers."

He grinned.

"Or a combo of the two."

He walked a little closer to John, but still a safe distance away.

"Name's Bran. You are?"

"The name's John, John Helsing, specialize in martial arts, and the smith and wetson revolvers." said John. "So far killed 110 vampires, and 4 werewolves, would've been 5 but, the last one got away, thought i'd at least explain why there are holes in some of the walls here." said John extending his hand.

Bran took John's hand in a firm, but friendly grasp.

"Ah, a Helsing yourself?" He said. "Makes sense."

He released John's hand.

"So, two Helsings in one place that know who and what they are and didn't know each other would be here. That's a recipe for interesting times."

Damn those Helsings.

Olivier slinked through the dank halls of the castles catacombs, her pale complexion practically glowing in the darkness. Now that she thought about it, maybe she could use those Helsings to her advantage. After all, what better place to hide something than with someone whom it cannot be obtained from? Olivier stopped as she reached an enormous pair of double doors. To an untrained eye, it looked like a normal set of doors adorned with winged figures. They swooped down on figures below them, seemingly screaming in agony. Just another of the old vampire legends. Olivier took a quick glance behind her as the doors opened of their own accord, a heavy fog pouring out from the darkness inside.

Now, all she had to do was find some suitable guardians...

(Hey, rikunobodyxiii, could you take over my characters this weekend?)

Morgan stopped running when she was across the street from the library. She went inside quietly, looked around, and grabbed a book called encyclopedia monsters, and began to read.

Hours later, when the sun was about to set, she had read most of the book. "A witch huh? I doubt it." she went to put the book away when someone from behind put her put his hand over her mouth. She tried to scream, but no sound could be heard.

"Mmmmmmmm!" she tried.

"Relax relax!" he said. "I'm not gonna hurt you." he slowly let go. As soon as she was free, she punched the guy in the stomach.

"Who the heck are you! I'm getting tired of you weirdos!" she yelled, a person at the end of the aisle shushed them and walked away.

The man looked at her. "I can explain. Just sit with me for a moment while I explain everything." he said as he pointed towards a table. With much hesitation, Morgan had no other ideas so she did as he asked.

(Hey, rikunobodyxiii, could you take over my characters this weekend?)

(Yeah, I can do that.)

"Listen, John." Bran said. "I'd love to join forces with you and rack up a few more vamp kills, but I think we got another Helsing on our hands."

He jerked his thumb the way Morgan had run.

"I felt vampire at her house a little before she left. If she's family, we need to help. Come on."

Bran and John ran after Morgan.

(Sorry I took forever to reply, I took a while to plan this post. I'm also sorry this is kind of expository, but I'm using this post to kinda state my characters powers and limitations and stuff, as well as the history of Van Helsing and an explanation of the Helsing reincarnations.)

As they sat down, Morgan glared at the man. "You better start explaining before I start screaming bloody murder."

The man took his hood off, revealing the face of a middle aged man, with a scar all on the right side of his face. "I don't believe we've been properly acquainted, Morgan, my name is Atreyu Waikuna." he held his hand out, Morgan coldly rejecting his hand.

"How did you know my name?" she grunted.

Atreyu pulled his hand away. "Fine, let's cut to the chase. Your a smart girl right? Have you ever heard of Van Helsing?"

She slowly started to calm down. "Van Helsing the monster hunter? He's a myth, just like the boogeyman, or demons, not real." she replied

The man laughed. "Trust me, those are all very real." he said, looking around as if he was expecting something to happen because of what they were talking about. "but that's not the point. So according to your so called 'myths' you claim they are, what happened to him?"

Confused by what Atreyu said about those things being real, brushed the feeling aside. "Well he died hundreds of years ago even if he did exist, so what's your point?"

Atreyu laughed again. "Well there's other Helsing's as well."

Morgan interrupted. "I thought he didn't have family?"

"He didn't," Atreyu confirmed, glancing around again. He focused his eyes on Morgan. "But he had magic with him. Or rather, he had a really good friend who could use magic. His friend put a spell on Helsing so his bloodline could continue to protect the world. However the only people who knew exactly why there are reincarnations of Helsing's was Van Helsing himself, and the friend who put the spell on him." he grabbed a flask of alcohol from under his coat and began to drink.

Morgan thought about what he said, then asked. "Wait, if what you said was true, then wouldn't that mean-"

"That I'm the 'friend' who cast the spell? You are a smart girl aren't you?" he chuckled.

"But wait wouldn't that make you like 200 years old at least?" she asked.

"I'm actually older than that. Although I lost count after 576."

A woman came by to shush them. "Oh shut up mortal!" he said, waving his hand and turning the lady into a dog. Morgan quickly sat up and backed away. "What the heck did you do?!?!" she asked loudly.

"Oh I'm just playing around." he said, waving his hand again and turning the dog back into a lady again. She got up from the ground and ran away.

"Ok so why are you telling me these things?" she said, still standing up.

Atreyu still sitting, replied. "You haven't figured it out yet?"

After some silence, Morgan said, "wait your not saying... I'm a Helsing?"

Atreyu sarcastically clapped. "Bravo, Bravo, give the lady her prize!"

Morgan angrily said, "I can't be a Helsing, wouldn't my parents tell me if I was?"

"They don't know," he said, drinking more alchohol. "Your bloodline was magically placed inside of you. Your parents aren't affiliated with Van Helsing. Your a special case however," he said, blinking fast from the effects of the alchohol. "as you are also a witch like me."

Her eyes showed how scared she was. "I'm a witch? So what, am I gonna live to be 500 too?"

He sighed. "No, you'll die at the same time as regular humans do. See, your a human born witch. Your rarer than regular witches, yet nowadays very common. Although I don't know why." he turned his flask upside down to reveal his alchohol gone. He sighed and threw it up in the air, making it disappear. "You have about the same magical power, spell casting, potion making, and you can scry, (I'll explain scrying later when it becomes relavent) like we can, but there are a few exceptions. Like for your powers, your limited to usually one specialized power, like teleporting, or flying, which could advance into stronger powers given the experience of the witch. I, however can do almost anything I want." he said, pointing out the lady he turned into a dog.

"You also have the same weaknesses we have. There are certain medallions out their that makes the wearer impervious to magic. And you can die like mortals can also. Regular witches can die as well, although there's only one thing that can kill us..." he said trailing off.

He got up facing away from Morgan. "I can't stay here long I have to get moving." then he turned towards Morgan. "oh! Almost forgot." he grabbed a small book that fit in his pocket and pulled it out. He waved his hand over the book and it grew five times bigger. The black book now was very big, with thousands of pages, maybe more, inside. The title of the book read 'Book of Shadows "This is my Book of Shadows I started during my younger years. If you need help on anything magical or supernatural, a premade spell, vanquishing potion ingredients, mosnter information, you name it it'll have it. Your powers are dormant right now, but I have a spell to awaken a witches' power on the first page, don't forget to use it. The book is magically protected from anyone else but the owner, unless the owner is killed and taken by the murderer. But since I'm willingly giving it to you, it's yours now." he waved his hand over the book again shrinking it, and gave it to Morgan. "Use it well."

She looked at the book. "Wait I have so many questions-" she looked up to find Atreyu already gone. She sighed, put the book in her pocket and looked outside, the sunset was almost set. She decided to leave and headed towards the castle.

Sunset.

The most beautiful, and stressful, time of day. Nighttime was when all of the creatures of the dark came out, thinking they have something to prove. And what better way than to attack vampires?

Olivier looked out over the horizon from atop the castle, the sun's dazzling oranges and pinks reflecting off of her pale visage. When she looked down, she saw people given the structure their usual looks. Confusion, intrigue, and a little disgust. If only they knew of the secrets it held...

She could also see them pulling their jackets together, huddling closer. That's right. The temperature dropped at night. Olivier could no longer feel the difference between night and day, her body being in such a state. What was cold like again? She closed her eyes, trying to remember the past.

Nothing came. It had been too long.

But then, what was that smell? It was familiar... blood. But not just any blood. It was that girl, the witch. And it seemed she was coming this way. Vanishing in a white cloud, Olivier rematerialized at the castle's front door, her luxurious robes flowing over her slender frame and arms crossed.

If she really was a Helsing, then this encounter would either be just what she was looking for, or a bloodbath.

Bran and John made it to the library and made a quick search for Morgan. Not finding her there, Bran asked at the front desk for her. The lady at the desk said that she had seen Morgan, but she had left not long ago, but that she didn't know where she was. Bran thanked her, then he and John left.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" John asked.

Bran nodded.

"If your thinking our possible distant cousin has been thralled or otherwise impelled by the vamps to do something, then yeah." He said.

"So, let's find some vampire haunts and 'ask' so questions." John said.

Bran shook his head.

"Tempting, but not. At least, not yet. First some intel."
