As you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XwD4eXjctY this user has stolen my video.

I've commented on it as you can see and I've PMed the user about it. But I seriously doubt that this user will delete it. This user appears to simply re upload other people's videos and uploads.

Advice please?

Why are you telling us? We aren't the Youtube police.

I'm asking for advice on how to deal with this properly.

Flag it, complain to Youtube, etc.

As long as you've claimed copyright on your video it's fine.

Except he can't claim copyright since all the content in the video isn't his.

I once had someone take clips from one of my videos and just rearrange them in another video. With the same song. I tried flagging it, even got my friends (both online and irl) to flag it too, but nothing happened. You can fight against it, but they'll try to worm their way out of it. The kid who stole my video's excuse was that he wanted to try the same effects as me with the exact same timing. Load of bullshit that was. Fighting back only works if you've got a huge army of subscribers that are willing to fight with you. But even then they won't take down the videos. Usually they just either stop uploading the videos or they go to another account and steal vids.

For all your future videos, I suggest leaving a watermark somewhere on the video.

I know. I gave you advice on who to tell this to.

I don't get it, what was stolen from you? These clips are from a TV show, and I'm pretty sure you don't own yugioh.

I made a very successful fan made English opening for Yu-Gi-Oh! GX season 4, the season never dubbed in English. This user downloaded my video and then re-uploaded it to his own account without my knowledge.

He Should Flag It As Spam/Infringes My Rights
I once has someone that stole my amv along with tons of other users and I was only able to get him closed/suspended because such a very large number of people that were there to help. Eh... I commented but I don't know what all else I could do. You could flag it since you edited it I guess but since the original content isn't technically yours to begin with youtube might be a bitch about it and do nothing.... D:

Bitch slap him.

The video has been removed by the user.

Yeah, thankfully I was able to get him to delete it.
