Controllers sure have come a long way. Sure the buttons are basically the same but the unique shapes were enjoyable. My overall favorite was the Sega Saturn controller because of it's round shape and it really made NIGHTS fun.

I still like the PS3 controller best.

I swear, the XBox controllers were designed by a blind man. With no hands.

I like the PS controllers best.

And the Xbox controller really messes me up. WHY DID THEY PUT X & Y and A & B IN THE OPPOSITE POSITIONS OF NINTENDO CONTROLLERS?! Like they're trying to **** with my mind!

i like the ps3 and gamecube controller the most. i hate the 360 controller the most.

I like the Xbox 360 controllers, they suit me well and I now how to use them.

GameCube Controllers were the controller gods. I have yet to find any controller that could come near their level are comfort. If they had been given a select button and another Z button they would have been unrivaled perfection.

My least favorite controllers would be PlayStation controllers. They are nowhere near as comfortable as the other modern(ish) console controllers. In fact, the only controller that I have ever used that was less comfortable* was the Nintendo 64 controller.

*Note: Have not used a NES, SNES, or any Sega Console controller besides Genesis.

Well, I don't play that much home console games, but I'd say that PS controllers are more easy to get into.

I always have to relearn them at my friend's house, and even then there's swearing.

Xbox 360 controllers are better in my opinion and this is coming from someone who grew up on the PS and PS2. With a play station controller, you feel like one hand is doing more work than the other because of how the controller fits your hand. You get used to it but it makes playing for a long time a bit more challenging as even when I played on the older playstations, one thumb would get worn out.

The 360 controllers seem to fit how you would naturally put your hand somewhere. I like how the right stick is strategically placed as close to the ABXY buttons as possible as it makes doing the actions associated with those buttons easier.

I also find the PS3 controllers to be too light and delicate. While the decrease in weight is good, a lighter controller is actually worse to an extent, at least for those of us who play 3 to 8 hours at a time.

The N64 controllers were the worst ever created, and because of how the control schemes in certain games were you would often find yourself struggling to figure out which way to hold the damn thing.

The Gamecube controller is just THE best, but saldy with the Wii and his motion control, the GC is kind of throw away, sadly.

PS controllers for me

PS3 controllers are so great that Microsoft named a system after them. Look at a PS3 controller. There's an X, there's a box, and there's a circle(360).

I should make that my new sig!

I liked GameCube and PS controllers the most.

N64 was worst.

Super Nintendo controller i liked it because used it so much.

Wii controller is the worst in this generation or Kinect because it's dumb enough to not have a controller

tutti frutti. Nintendo-wise, I would have to go with GC followed by SNES. I still don't like the fact that you have to buy AA batteries for the wiimote for certain games on the Wii, over being able to recharge the controller through the console like the PS3. The PS3 controller is ok since it hasn't really changed, those I was hoping for that new controller when the console first appeared way back when. I can't really say since I don't play Xbox, so I can't really say there.
