"Calling all Eva Units! Please report to the check in station!" The intercom said as the sirens flashed red. Takeharu made her way through the station, she had been there for about 3 years, this place was no surprise to her. She made her way into the check in station and signed her name and Eva A-2.

"How have you been Miss Takeharu?" The check in lady asked with a smile.

"Good," Takeharu said, "How is A-2?"

"Still in progress Miss, i know its been a while since you piloted A-2 but remember, you and the Eva got pretty injured since the last angel." The check in lady reassured her. Takeharu nodded.

"Where is the Sargent?" Takeharu asked.

"Inside the conference station Miss." Takeharu nodded as she walked off.

(umm what did I miss? We can fly? I guess I needa do alot of reading.)

"Wow, we can learn how to fly? im missed alot then, thats what I get for dazing off."

(ehem... planes?)

Taji looked strangely at Takuya.

" Uh ya, you wouldn't be here if you couldn't...."

(Hehe.)

"Oops, im zoning out, my bad, okay so aircraft training alright, ima get to that, even though im kinda skilled at it, never hurts for more training."

OOC: Where do airplanes come into this?

"That stuck-up Japanese... come on, Beta." Jade let out a deep breath as the entry plug spiraled into position, the familiar sounds of her Eva's systems booting up. She was greeted by the psychodelic flashes that she loved (though would never admit) before the cage came into view. "Let's go."

There was a jolt as the Eva was launched into the training field, the catapult stopping as suddenly as it ever did. The clamps released, the Eva leaning forward. "It's just like riding a bike." Beta took a crashing step forward, the titan lunging slightly as it did so. "Alright, so we're both a little out of practice. That's why we're here."

OOC ; Evangelions do not fly. "Piloting" doesnt always mean flying, by piloting we mean controlling a huge robot. If you havent seen the movie.

"I suppose you are. Im fine. Lets just get warmed up. So you can get accustomed." Takeharu said as she stood A-2 up and got it ready. She flipped on a couple of switches.

"But if you mess up my Eva, you will pay for it." Takeharu said as she pulled one last switch and grinned.

OOC: Or the anime. And they're not really robots...

"You mean that scrap?" Beta leveled itself out, Jade letting out a sigh of relief. There didn't seem to be any problems. "I'm surprised it can even stand up straight. It's an A-model, right?" She laughed, her Eva flexing its fingers. everything seemed to be in working order. "Beta's the first American production model. Gamma may have been built off of it, but they sacrifced too much for power." The titan crouched down as Jade checked her range of motion. Stil looking good. "Mine's the most powerful, balanced Evangelion!"

Takeharu laughed.

"A models were first created. A-2 survived a blow from the angel. Yours wouldnt last five seconds in the fight. You? Beta model? Those things are just a peice of crap. Newer classes of Eva's really have downgraded. The first to angels were killed by A models. That proves the others wrong." She said.

"Kneel A-2 !" She said as the gigantic Eva kneeled down close to the ground.

"Ha! You're Eva's a relic! The American's never labled their models by generation, mine's the second to last built!" Beta's shoulder fins flipped open, two progressive knives flipping out of the left shoulder before closing again. "Don't mistake me for that trash Mark-00 that Claire pilots. I've helped to destroy five Angels, and personally finished three of them off." The ground around Beta's feet cracked as her AT Field roared to life, dissipating in a flash. "Only Gamma's more advanced than my Beta!"

Jade's mind flashed back to that... thing she saw before, with the cannon in Nevada. Was that an Eva? And if so, who was piloting it?

(Sorry havebt been on)

Takeharu scoffed.

"Say what you like. They are just opinions. My Eva last a blow from the angel while protecting an Eva who was shooting an angel. Im not gonna let that happen this time. I represent the Eva who shot the angel in the core. The Eva pilot had an A brand, so i look up to the A brands, your Beta model is a good brand. I wanna see whats it made of. Lets just make sure we dont break our Eva's" Takeharu said as she as motioned her Eva into a kneeling position.

Myra watches, her headphones on, as usual, from a corner, staying out of the way. She suddenly adds with a somewhat Soulless voice "You're all very self-centered, if you ask me. Granted, you didn't, so I'm not one to talk.

"So you took a hit." Beta crouched down as well, its green armor plates glaring in the sun. "All your boasting tells me is that the rest of the A-series fell apart whenever they took damage. This thing's survived intrusion by an Angel. I even took a part of that bastard as a trophy."

The left shoulder fin opened again, the progressive knives flipping out. Jade drew one of them, the switchblade slinging open with a mechanized snick. The crimson blade glowed, though it did not reflect the sun's light. "I had NERV turn it into a blade after I snapped it off of Chayot and drove it into the other Angel's core!"

Jade checked the numbers flashing across the display in front of her. The umbilical cable was still attached and all systems seemed to be functioning normally. "Beta's the best that America has to offer!"

"Look whos cocky. I say we should train togethor dont you think?" Takeharu said pulling the cables and shutting down her Eva immeadiatly. Takwharu scoffed.

"Keep your opinion to yourself. You can really piss someone off if you dont. She then turned her Eva back on, the shoulders moved back and opened up to show were missles would be launched. In the forearm of the Eva, she pulled out a long blade. She cut through the ground and grinned.

"Bang." She said softly as she missles launched and were sent toward the Beta model.

Myra shrugs "Fine. Just teaching you people some morals. Guess that doesn't help anything." She walks off, hands in her pockets, looking for a place to build.

The missles detonated against the AT field, the Eva launching itslef forward with a single graceful motion. The ground beneath its feet shattered with each step. "So your Eva's more machine than man, huh?" Beta skidded back on its heels, the crimson blade slashing downward. A-2's AT field scattered, Jade pulling her Eva back as the long blade reached out for her.

"That's your weakness. Your Eva's more mechanical than anything. The American models only use plate armor, giving us more maneuverability. Unless you've got jets on that thing," Beta hopped to the side, flanking the older Eva. "I'll be running rings around you!"

"This thing can go pretty fast if you ask me. Its the first and only japanese model." Takeharu said reading the defences on her Eva. She then heard a voice to the intercom.

"Stop Takeharu! You could destroy the whole training feild if you use all your mechanics. Stop!" The Sargeant siad through her head set.

"Ugh! Fine! Fights over. Sargeant butt in. Its over, if we continue we will be banned from fighting the angel." Takeharu said as she said shut down her Eva.

Beta stopped dead in its tracks, Jade letting out a short chuckle. "In the end, it's all about the money. Fine. We'll just see who's best when that Angel comes. I'm coming back down." Beta stepped onto the lift in the floor, the elevator lighs flashing as the Eva descended.

Jade sat in the cockpit as the world around her vanished and the mechanics took over. That girl would do anything to defend whatever "honor" the Japanese had in their Evangelions. Then again, was she so different? If it came to it, Jade may have released the Beast. Only to prove a point. In the end, all the pilots did was prove their own stubbornness.

And all she could do was laugh.

"Takeharu and Jade. Please report to the conference room immeadiatly! Sargeant wishes to see the noth of you." The intercom said through the facility. Takeharu eyes widened.

"Shit! Were in big trouble." Takeharu said under her breath as she walked to the conference room. She entered the room and sat in a chair.

"Whats up?" Takeharu said as she leaned back.

"Stop that! Why are you fighting with another NERV pilot?! You did it last time and it got you to not shooting the angel. You were our hope this time! As for Jade, why fight back?! You two are the nest pilots out there and your fighting about Eva units! Girls! Please, the cat-fights stop now! Neither of you will be fighting against this angel. Its not the last but you wont be fighting this one. I cant let two selfish girls take on something serious! You two need to work togethor and stop being so stupid! Your Eva's are the same so stop being such bitches! If you fight again before this angel both of you are out and thats final!" The sargeant said as she slammed her hands on the table.

"Fight one more time and youll see!" she said stepping back. Takeharu sighed as she sat forward.

"Fine sargeant. I wont fight anymore. As long as i dont get kicked out." Takeharu said sighing.

"This is bull!" Jade slammed her fists on the table, "You even said we were the best here, and you're holding us back?! I doubt these new guys even know what an Eva really is!" Her fury was blinding, quite literally. The edges of her vision were darkening, her head pounding. How could they do this to her?

"Fine. Have it your way." She was seething by now. "I'll be in my apartment f you need me. You know where it is." And with that, Jade stormed out of the conference room. She couldn't stand to be in there anymore. But even more, she couldn't let them see her cry.

Takeharu watched Jade storm out.

"You know id like to see your face when i talk to you Takeharu. Your a girl, you need a hair cut. You look like a boy." The sargeant said.

"I dont care. Its best if you dont see my face." She said standinf up.

"Im fine. My hairs good and i dont care if i look like a guy. Theres no one to look good for. My Eva likes me for who i am. Me and A-2 are connected by soul. He has seem me at my worst and my best. He sees me differently, thats why im so attatched to my Eva. Even though he cant talk. I know hes attatched to me too. He would have stopped working by now." Takeharu said smiling.

"Im going to my room. Can i have the key, since i live in the fecility?" Takeharu said as she nodded.

This is not fair !!!!

The Seargant may know where she lives, but Jade didn't. She stood on the sidewalk in the rain, squinting at the street signs overhead. She only knew conversational Japanese. Everything else was just scribbles to her.

Wiping the wet hair out of her eyes and an obscenity later, she began walking. She wasn't sure where, but there had to be somewhere to stay until she could figure all of this out. But if she strayed too far from NERV, she might not find her way back...

With a heavyheart and heavier sigh, she stopped in front of a brightly-lit store, sitting on a nearby bench. She would wait for the rain to stop, and then ask someone to help. She would do it now, but after what just happened with that insufferable man...

The mere thought brought a snarl to Jade's lips. He even said that they were the best. He was condemning this city wiht his decisions. But she wouldn't let him.

When that Angel came, Beta would be waiting for it on the fornt lines.

Bored, Eon watched the two girls fight. They went as far as fighting in their own EVAs.

He smirked when they were called out, presumably for their rash actions. He returned to the secratary, retreiving his knife. As he walked to his room, he overheard the Seargent telling them their punishment. As he heard Jade storm out, he swiftly walked off, trying to look as inconspicous as possible. "We're going to fight the Angel without the Veterans? I hope the others are not incompetent...or there's going to be trouble."

I had left and was laying on my bed. "I can't understand way people could be so stupid." I mumble. I then start to laugh. "Heh I don't even care as long as I'm living. I'm fine anyway." I sigh.

The keys rattled in Takeharu's baggy cargos. She exhaled with anger.

"How can the Sargeant do that?" She mumbled to herself.

She opened the door to her room and left the door open. Out the window she could see A-2 standing in the same position she had left it in. She shut the blinds and layed on the provided bed.

' You also need to find a person to train by tonight, or we'll be screwed you got that?' The sargeants words rang in her mind. She mocked the sargeant and left the room.

"Who is going to train with me? I dont know really how to train someone." She mumbled as she stepped out of the facility.
