"Calling all Eva Units! Please report to the check in station!" The intercom said as the sirens flashed red. Takeharu made her way through the station, she had been there for about 3 years, this place was no surprise to her. She made her way into the check in station and signed her name and Eva A-2.

"How have you been Miss Takeharu?" The check in lady asked with a smile.

"Good," Takeharu said, "How is A-2?"

"Still in progress Miss, i know its been a while since you piloted A-2 but remember, you and the Eva got pretty injured since the last angel." The check in lady reassured her. Takeharu nodded.

"Where is the Sargent?" Takeharu asked.

"Inside the conference station Miss." Takeharu nodded as she walked off.

It had taken two hours and it was still raining, but she had found it. A nice old man had helped Jade to find her apartment, and its new owner only sighed when she saw the boxes inside. The Japanese sure did like small apartments. Luckily, she didn't bring much.

It was quaint (although the phrase "It'll do" may have been vocalised instead), with the living area and kitchen apparently in the same room. Those doors to the side were most likely the bedroom and bathroom, although at first glance it was unclear which was which. And when she opened one of the doors, the debate of whether it was a bedroom or closet could have also started. But at least it was somewhere to live.

Jade jabbed her key into the tape on one of the boxes, cutting it open. Hopefully, unpacking her things would relieve the stress of the day.

As Takeharu stepped out of the facility, she turned to see one of the workers.

"Hey Takeharu, you know A-2 needs the check up right? You have two days and it hasnt been checked yet." Zach, the Eva manger said. Takeharu nodded and walked over to her Eva. She entered a code at the calf of the huge machine. The entered and looked at the control panel.

"Looks good, how many times has it been in the shop?" zach asked getting a pen and paper out.

"Uhh twice." Takeharu answered. Zach nodded and started writing.

It hadn't helped.

Jade threw the last of the boxes out with the rest of the garbage, pulling up a chair. She took a quick look around the apartment (a small feat, to be sure), taking it all in. She could cross the entire apartment in four seconds, three if she hopped forward at the end.

There was nothing to do.

With a heavy sigh, Jade walked out the front door, locking it behind her. Maybe there would be something to do at NERV. Jade swiped her ID card through the reader, the door opening with a loud woosh for her. People bustled all around her, going about their business. Maybe she shoud check in with Beta...
