December 25, 201113 yr I think it's beacause of time zones. Globaly, everyone that acknowledges and clebrates Christmas tends to do it on the 25th of December. Because of time zones, America's 24th would be Austrailia's 25th.

Although to be fair, the "Twelve days of Christmas" begin on the 25th and end in the 5th of January henceforth, you might have additional Christmases with other relatives around those days.
