Seriously? I thought this game was supposed to fix everything that was wrong with XIII?

so a day or so after the release of FFXIII-2, Square announced a DLC came out on the 8th, which was the Lightning and Amodar battle in the Colosseum (not forgetting the Omega Weapon DLC for pre-orders), and that more are to come, now here is a list of what i think are going to come out, New costumes (as i saw that one DLC costume for Serah was a bikini >_>), FFXIII character background in FFXIII-2,

as we still need to know what happened to Sazh and Dajh (if you completed vile peaks, Sazh talks to you through a message but doesnt explain how they vanished, what happened and how they returned), how Snow got the mark of a L'cie again, Hope and the background of Alyssa (i still dont like the way she looked at Mog when she gave them the dodgy crystal) and the rest of Lights story.

New boss battle DLC with hopefully some classics like they did with Omega Weapon or FF13 chars and finally mini games of course.

 

What do you guys think will come out?

There's already some DLC out for the Japanese version, so you can see what will hopefully be coming to other regions soon.

i thiink they might but seperatly like ffxiii where you fight 3 at a time so hope, light and snow then one with fang, vanille and sazh, now cid will definatly be in it but i think his l'cie form will happen after removing a quarter of his life like the lightning fight, have you got her in your party yet? took me ages but i got her last week

Right now my team is some dragon Com/Green Chocobo Med/Flan Rav. I held off from getting the blue chocobo so that I could just get Lightning instead.

before capturing light, make sure you obtained all the fragments from the 2 Vile Peaks maps and go to the fragment lady in the casino place and she will give you a skill so you have a 20% chance of obtaining a crystal, if you need any help how to get there or any missing fragments, just PM me, well, i had Noel at 6000 Hp and Serah at 5000HP (try and level them up a bit more cause serah has pretty low health) i had a Bunkerbeast (Sen), Dragoon (Com) and a Pink Lily (Rav), you will need the following paradigms:

 

Com,Com,Com

Rav,Rav,Rav

Com,Med,Com

Syn,Sab,Sen

Syn,Syn,Sen

Med,Med,Sen

 

At the begging all you need to do is drop Lights help until Alomar arrives and instantly switch to Syn,Syn,Sen untill you are completely buffed with shell, protect and vigilance, maybe Viel just to be sure. After being buffed, attack Alomar only, try and stagger with Rav,Rav,Rav and then go full force with Com,Com,Com until he is down, after a losing a certain amount of health, they will switch to medic and heal each other, Buff yourself as quickly as possible and start staggering, when he is gone (and hopefully have his crystal, i dont yet but its okay as i now have omega) start on Lightning but be wary as she now has limit break and can use Army Of One, when she does, switch to Syn,Sab,Sen, main think is to keep Army of One away from you and on your Sen, when she is done with that, stagger and attack, when she has very little life, try and use a Feral Link to kill her as this improves chances (even with the % amount the link obtains), hopefully you wont have to do it as much as i did

You don't need it that high, I five starred the battle for the first time when Serah had under 4000 health, and I was able to scrape by before that. As long as you use a sentinel to block their full ATB attacks, it shouldn't be too bad, just don't expect any fancy stars on the result screen.

Though... you might want to wait until you have maxed stats, because Lightning has a 7 percent drop rate, while Amodar has 10%.

So you need to be really lucky, or willing to grind.

You do get pretty good Gil and CP for winning though...

Coming at the end of February, a new downloadable episode for Final Fantasy XIII-2, called "Sazh: Heads or Tails?"

As well as a new storyline to play through, featuring Sazh from Final Fantasy XIII, you'll also be able to play two new card games in the Serendipity zone.

The episode will be available via Xbox Live Marketplace from February 28 for 400 Microsoft Points, and via PlayStation Network from February 29 for €3.59/£2.99.
