In KH1 they point out that Kairi just pop on the Island when both Sora and Riku where like 6 year's old. This would implied that she was from a different world (Sora just pop in Traverse Town when his world dissipated). So you would think that at the end of KH1 she would go back to her world and not Destiny Islands, right? So what happen to Kairi world and how come she did not return to it? Is it because she dose not remember it or something else?

True, but why did she not return to Radiant Garden? She went back to Destiny Islands instead.

Maybe because of her connection to Sora, and that she probably could picture Destiny Islands more as her true home than Radiant Garden, and her heart feels that some connection to the Islands was stronger than there, so she was placed back on Destiny Islands.

Kinda like how someone can be born in another place in the world, but there may be a different place, someplace other than their birth city or town that they consider their home for many reasons. One could be the people they have a bond with there (ex: Sora, Riku, Kairi and the other kids on the island are friends, and Kairi may consider them to be her "family" or her "home").

 

Also, the Islands could have been restored to how it originally was right before it was swallowed by darkness, and considering Kairi was there at the time when it happened, she returned back there to the Islands. Riku's behind the door, so he can't go back I think and Sora... was just too lazy to jump a few feet I guess.

hahah...i think that all the time when i see the end CS. As for what you said about Kairi, I can see that happening then. Hmm...her "real" family must real miss her then.

she doesn't know that Radiant Garden is her home she can't even remeber it and i think she chose to go to Desriny Isalnds cause she wanted to be with Sora and Riku!

Tetsuya Nomura said in an interview that if a person goes down with a world, that's the world that they'll return to when the worlds are restored.

So if Sora went to Wonderland while it got engulfed in darkness, then he'd stay there.

yea...best I could come up with is that there world was all ready somewhat taken by the darkness in KH1, but over all I would like to know to...

 

As for Kairi, how the hell did she end up on that world in the 1st place. Her world would of had to disapear for her to end up on the islands.
