Yukino Keisse is walking toward the Bannered Mare to do some drinking. She noticed alot of people gathering at Dragons Reach. With her curiosity peaked she smirks slightly wondering what fun laid in store. She turns around and starts heading up the large stairs toward Dragons Reach. She wanders over to to the unuasual group and starts to easedrop on there conversation.

"So what?" Kara folded her arms across her stomach, her eyes showing any disbelief that her voice would not. "You could tell me that you came from Parma. It would make no difference to me. I'm slaying that dragon, and then I am finding my way home."

 

She began to walk down the steps into town. "You can either follow me or you can leave. It makes no difference." She looked back quickly. "Are you coming?" She motioned to Wheatley.

Kyle followed them out of Dragonsreach. He approached Kara and said "The dragons here are different from the dragons where you come from. You'll need help killing it. I offer you my services if you'll do a favor that will be revealed later." As he said this, he did a formal bow, one arm at his back, the other at his chest.

Said Kugo, Looking at Kyle's Bow Towards Kara While Leaning from the Side of a Wall on the Left as he was Making Light of What had Just Happened Before his Eyes.

Kara held back a laugh of contempt. "A dragon is nothing compared to the trials I have faced, regardless of the world it comes from." Her words sounded pompous, even self-righteous. But she could feel the Knight's power surging within her. There had to be another pactmaker here. Somewhere. "Fine, join the club if you like." She said to Kyle. "Just stay out of my way once the battle starts."

Ivaylo decided to wait outside the city, having already received glares from the guards. They obviously didn't like strangers, and it didn't help that the twins often got mistaken for Imperials. So Nyx entered the city alone, heading towards the housing district that belonged to the Nords of the city. He couldn't remember what they called this district, but he remembered the district where the dark elves lived. He almost spat in disgust as he thought of the "Grey Quarter" and about the injustice they faced in this city. He couldn't help but think that they could move at any time now...

He shrugged it off, and broke into one of the houses. Vex had described it to him, and he had seen it before on other missions. He crouched, listening carefully. It didn't sound like anybody was in the house, but he'd be careful nonetheless. He searched the house until he found the item that had caught Vex's eyes. He nabbed a diamond circlet, quickly stashing it in his sack. He a few feet form the door when it suddenly opened. Heart pounding, he used his agile reflexes to roll behind a dresser. The woman walked in, and headed to the dining room where he cooking stove was. Nyx took the opportunity to sneak out the front door, being as quiet as he could. Luckily, his cat self had natural reflexes that allowed to stalk almost in complete silence. He escaped the city, finding his brother.

"Back to Riften, or do you want to stay here for a bit?" Nyx asked with a slight grin.

Ivaylo frowned. "Ha, ha. Very funny."

"It is unwise to underestimate the power of the dragons of Skyrim. From what the legends say, they are very difficult to kill and we wouldn't want you joining the Dread Father just yet." he said. "Also, it would be wise to keep our voices down about some subjects, lest we attract unwanted attention." He looked over her shoulder at the Breton woman who was clearly spying on them. He shot her a glare that could fill even the toughest Orc with fear. For his gaze was the gaze of Sithis and the Void itself.

Yukino looked around at all the different faces with disdain. "How boring none of these people look like any fun". Then from across the walk way she noticed a rather peculiar little group made up of an imperial, a breton, what looked look some dwemer atomaton, and a rather intimidating argonian. She walked over to the group " My my what an intreging little party you've got going on mind if I crash it". She winked at her fellow breton.

Johnny became scared of the lizard-man, but not because of his stare. Johnny had dealt with worse from the Organization. But the fact that he was reptilian scared him. Johnny's fear of reptiles took over, "Guh..." He turned quickly and tried not to look back, "Sorry, lizard-man. Don't mean any disrespect, but I can't stand lizards of any kind." He looked back at the girl, "If you do want help with that dragon, I'll help you out."

Wheatley was still trying to register the strange man in his memory, "I don't seem to recall you at all, human." He turned back to Kara, "I have nowhere else to be. And you're my way of being able to survive here in Skyrim."

Xehanort looked over his glorious Heartless army.As he looked over the crowd, he sensed the Keyblade. Another wielder had shown himself. But the presence was...tainted. It felt like the Keyblade but yet, it didn't feel right.

Something was amiss here. Xehanort had to stop this wielder.

Xehanort aimed his keyblade to the south, "The time has come. We find the wielder of the Keyblade." The army, led by Xehanort and the dragon began their march to Whiterun.

"I do not take offense to it." he said. "My kind is used to that sort of treatment, ever since they were slaves for the Empire. I personally am used to being looked down upon because of my race. However, you'd do well to not make a habit out of it. Although I am used to it, I would like to note that those who have looked down upon me because of my race ended up with a blade in their backs as they turned away." He then turned to the Breton woman who approached them. "It seems we have an uninvited visitor." he hissed.

"Fine. We will-" Kara stopped, lowering her voice. "We'll slay the dragon. If you have something to prove, show it in battle." She pointed at each of them in turn. "No heroics. If you are in trouble, pull out. That goes for everyone." She shot a look to Yukino. "And I take it that you will want to jump onto this little bandwagon as well?"

 

Great. Just great. Slay the dragon, get the Jarl to help her get home. How did such a simple plan turn into this chaos?

Ignoring the argonians hiss she smiled at Kara in a seemingly childlike and innocent way. "Sure why not killing dragons sounds like marvilous fun". She looked at the strange white atomaton. " But first i have a question... how did you get a dwemer atomaton to follow you around?". She poked wheatly.

Nyx, having gotten paid with a hefty amount of coin for his job, smiled lightly at his brother. He flicked him in the forehead though, which made him scowl. "Go home. I'll survive."

"But-," he started, before Nyx held up a finger.

"I already told you. Plus, I'm tougher than that," he slid the large pouch of coins in his brother's hands. "Take this with you. Why not go stay with the Companions guild for a while."

"You're not seriously going to Dawnstar," Ivaylo said, his usually light face darkened. His golden eyes stared deeply, before he turned away with a huff. "Fine, but you're a damn fool!" he shot at his brother, leaving Riften. He grumbled it over and over as he left. If his brother was going to be an idiot, than that was his business. Nyx ignored the carriage driver and began a steady walk. He just wanted to walk. It wouldn't take that long by himself. Plus, if it started getting dark, he always had his wolf form. No one messed with wolves, especially after dark.

 

Nyx stared after his brother, frowning slightly. He ran a hand through his long hair, before pulling his hood up. Ever since they had left Dawnstar, he had been curious. If he could just find out about what was going. He left a little after his brother, but he took a different road that went North. It would take him a while on foot, but he had given all his money to Ivaylo... Just in case he didn't come back.

Wheatley jumped away from the stranger, "Whoa, who are you calling a Dwemer automaton? I don't even know why I'm here!"

Johnny turned to the lizard-man, "I'm not trying to be racist here, I just can't stand reptiles." Johnny turned back to Kara, "Well, what are we waiting for? That dragon's not gonna wait all day for us!"

"You're right." Kara looked from Johnny to the small crowd that had amassed."If you are coming, then follow me. If you are not..." She shrugged. "Don't."

 

She began her descent down the stairs when a massive figure swopped overhead. The dragon let out a mighty roar as it flew over the city, the guards shouting battle cries as it landed just outside of the city walls. Kara picked up speed, the Knight's Ark appearing in her hand. Its ebony form glinted in the sun, the water and grass around her dancing as if she carried the wind wiht her. She had to kill that dragon. She had to find a way home.

 

But did her salvation truly lie with death?

"Our prey reveals itself." Kyle said, grabbing his Dwarven Bow and knocking in an arrow. "We shall send it to the Dread Father in the Void!" With that, he fired the arrow at the dragon. He knew it wouldn't kill the dragon outright, but it would at least weaken it. He put his bow away and followed Kara.

She giggled at the metal biengs very odd reaction thinking that she made the right chose in traveling partners. Then she noticed the dragon swooping down just outside the city. She grinned wildly unable to contain her newfound excitement. "Looks like its show time". She quickly follows after Kara and the others taking out her dual daggers and holding them reversed. "It's about time this partys pace quickened" she laughed.

Ivaylo grumbled to himself furiously, paying little to no attention to his surroundings. Whiterun was in sight already because of his fast pace he had set in his fury. It wasn't until a dragon roared that he blinked and finally looked around, finding Whiterun under attack by one of the huge beasts. "Whoa. Talk about a bad day all around..." he said to himself. He started to run towards Whiterun. There were friends he had there that he would be sad about losing and his only choice to stop that was to fight. Besides, Nyx deserved a little pay back after that stunt he pulled in Riften.

 

Nyx stopped, sensing something. He lifted his head, glancing around, but the terrain was silent besides the occasional scuffle of animals. He waited for a long moment, but the feeling didn't go away. He tried to shrug it off, and continued walking. The feeling wouldn't go away though. It seemed to gnaw at him, telling his instincts that he needed to escape. Now! He ran down the trail right as an arrow hit the ground where he had been. He slid to the right as another arrow pierced the ground with a loud thunk. He turned, barely catching a glimpse of his attacker. "Bandits," Nyx hissed to himself, as he turned to find the rest of the thieves.

"Well, well. What have we here?" one asked, and Nyx guessed their leader.

"Looks like one lone Imperial. We don't like Imperials on our turf," another said, beginning to circle him. It made him feel like prey. But with it being eight well armed men and an archer hidden somewhere behind him, he didn't stand a chance of surviving.

Nyx glanced past them. He could barely see the bridge to Ivarstead ahead, but he'd have to be fast. He waited, taking their petty insults silently. It was only when the two in front of him parted slightly that he took the chance. He ran past them, bolting for the bridge. He heard their excited yells as they ran after him. Nyx cursed his slow human body as he imagined the feel of hot breath on his back and a cold knife pressed to his throat. He made it to the bridge, but he didn't stop. He began to ran up the steps to High Hrothgar, thinking he'd hide out for a while. He almost wished he had his brother with him... He almost ran into a khajiit who was heading down. He finally stopped, his heart racing, but when he looked around, he wasn't being followed.

"In a hurry?" he asked in a thick accent, giving a slight smile.

"No..." Nyx said slowly as he let himself relaxed. They probably stopped at the bridge... But now that he was so close, and having never seen High Hrothgar, he was curious. "Sorry about running into you..."

"Do not apologize, Friend. But be careful running on this icy path," he said, as he gave a slight wave walking away. "I'm afraid I've got someplace to be..."

Nyx waved back, blinking. The khajiit were a curious race to him. He began walking up the path until he found it... and a lot of snow... And a man...

Kara shoved the heavy doors open, fire spraying across the field in front of her. "Fall back!" "Watch out!""Where are the archers?!" The cries of the guards could barely be heard over the roars of the beast. Kara ran head-first into the fray, the black sheath in her hand.

 

O Dinivas, deliverer of dark and dread.

 

A malevolent aura began to radiate as she spoke the incantation. She could feel the power surging now.

 

Ruler of ancient shadows, grant me your power. Verto!

 

She was engulfed by the red light and flames. The fire twisted into a flaming tower before dspelling in a whirlswind of black feathers. The Black Knight stood in her place, towering over the guards below. "Get out of the way!" Kara's voice boomed as she reached back, an enormous sword appearing in a flash of black light. She brought the blade down on the dragon, the air itself being pushed aside by the weapon. The dragon stumbled back, roaring before spewing flames at the Knight. Dinivas charged through, punching the beast to the ground. "If you want to help," Kara addressed the others. "Now would be a good time to."

Kyle snuck behind the dragon and hopped on it's tail. Running along it's tail and onto it's back, he pulled out the Blade of Woe. Flipping it into a reverse grip, he ran up to it's neck and plopped down, as if he was going to ride it. He began stabbing the dragon with the Blade of Woe, it's effect draining some of it's life force into him.

With almost lightning speed Yukino ran behind the large beast. She hopped onto the dragons tail and ran along it untill she was on its back. With daggers in hand she started slashing at the dragons wings, ripping them to shreds rendering the beast incapable of flight. Sheathing her daggers she jumped off of the back and slid under the dragon to its soft underbelly shooting an Ice Spike into its gut as it roared in pain. Then Yukino came out from under the dragon, sat on a near by rock, and said with a wink "Well I made my contrabution now ill leave the rest to you guys".

Johnny ran out to the outside of the city and watched the dragon fly overhead. He motioned to Wheatley, who was just behind him.

"Put two portals on the ground NOW!" Johnny called out to the automaton.

Wheatley registered this and did just so.

Johnny leapt into the air with his dragoon strength and descended into a portal. As he passed through, he felt a feeling of vertigo. Strange, but manageable. He flew back into the air, with slightly more momentum than he had during the initial jump. He slammed into the underside of the dragon and latched on for dear life. Johnny pulled out a Keyblade and hit the dragon in the neck, attracting its attention. Johnny moved off of the belly and onto the back of the dragon.
