Kingdom Hearts was apparently "extremely difficult for people".

Posted

GMR: With the first Kingdom Hearts, two of the biggest complaints were the camera and the extreme difficulty level (for people who suck at videogames or the youngins). Are you adjusting KH2 to be more user-friendly to gamers?

TN: Of course we are…no need to worry.

Kingdom Hearts is a easy video game. I find it easier than Sonic Heroes, Final Fantasy X, Shadow The Hedgehog, Star Wars Battlefront II, Pokemon HeartGold among others.

it was acctually harder game than others, but i like challenges

I got steamrolled in BBS, Terra's last boss had me throwing my PSP against the wall. This is coming from someone who plays Dark souls.....

That is the only part where I actually got a challenge. lol

KH2 was the first KH game I played and I never finished that first playthrough, because my brother started playing it again and he was ahead of me and I kept spoiling parts. When I eventually got 'round to playing the first [ we didn't have it at the time ] I found it somewhat difficult, certainly harder than KH2. I'd imagine if I had been younger I wouldn't have been too great at it. The Pokemon games are much easier IMO, but I have been playing them since I was like 6.

Still, none of the KH games are too terribly difficult.

I played BBS on Proud Mode and I find it suitable for my difficulty level. :) I struggled with Proud Mode on 358/2 Days, though. I'm currently playing BBS:FM on Proud Mode, but I work overtime so I haven't played it for a while.

And yes, I did have trouble defeating Terra-Xehanort on BBS - like just about everyone else has had. I normally struggle to complete videogames in general, but I can actually complete KH games. :D

KH1 wasn't all around difficult. It just had it's moments of wanting to rage quit, as with all video games.

What made KH2 easy was the reaction commands.

KH1 is hard cause Sora is so slow with his attacks and blocking is hard. Also, unlike KH2, it doesn't tell you every time where you're supposed to go or what to do, and you just kinda gotta guess. BBS is hard especially with the Unknown cause you gotta pound those keys fast, but KH1 i'd say is still hard and you don't have to break your thumbs doing it. I liked how much of a puzzle KH1 is and am sad there's absolutely nothing to interact with in BBS. I mean who misses climbing ladders and pulling levers and ringing bells and humping trees and smacking the lights out of candles and picking up crates and barrels and smashing them and lighting things on fire and pushing objects and all those other fun interactive things that are exclusive to KH1? I think I got off Topic..... KH1 is hard but that's what makes it fun and the best in my opinion!

What's sad is it's a kid game for toddlers. It isn't supposed to be hard. The difficulty they laid upon this game was utter disrespect and why it didn't make the top charts. Square = useless pretty much
