[Medieval Fantasy] Resolve to Fight! [Roleplay Topic]

Posted

http://kh13.com/foru...n-ups-are-open/

I made the topic already because I was like firetruck it. Either way, I'll let everyone get intro posts in before we move onto more regular posting. So yeah, take your time. If you need to.

Plot:

In the distant land of Ebya, many species lived in harmony and prosperity. The different people of these species would often trade with one another, making friendships throughout Ebya. Although some of the species had made friends, not everyone was happy. Every species—or race—had their own plot of land to call theirs, and each race was very protective of their land. Everyone seemed to be living peacefully, except for the ground dwelling races. Their living style cut them off from the rest and after many years of starving, they decided to rise up and take new lands so their races would no longer rot away in their caves. The Dark elves, Goblins, Draconians, and Demons all joined forces to wage war against the High elves, Nephilims, Dwarves, and Gnomes. The latter having no option but to defend their land by becoming allies. Two years into the war, and it is in full force. Many other races were caught in this crossfire, some being forced to pick sides. Who will win?

Setting:

Ebya is a very large, and highly populated, area. In the north is a vast desert, bordered by the rocky mountains of Ulear. Above the desert is an area that has not been thoroughly explored due to various reasons, especially it‘s very barren landscape. In the northeast, the desert fades into grassy lowlands, a place where many decide to live. The Dwarfish capital of Barnead is located in this area. The area that lies on the other side of the mountains is very rocky, and covered with dense forests that lead into the middle of the continent. Most explorers don’t dare to travel through it. On the far west side of the mountain is an active volcano, and the area doesn’t have much growth around it. In the south, there are many hills. Thane’hel, the main city of the Elfish people, is located here. Ebya is surrounded by water on the west and south sides, and there are many lakes and rivers located throughout the area, as well as small villages. The Taivaar prefer to burrow along the west side of the continent, but their people also can be located in the south.

Rules:

1) No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, or anything of the sort.

2) Make your characters power realistic, they can’t take on a whole army alone. If you have read this rule, exclaim your power level like a Dragon Ball Z character.

3) If you try to take on a whole army alone, you’re probably going to die, just saying.

4) Respect plz.

5) Type to the best of your ability, this also means no one liners. If you have read this rule, give me an example of a one liner.

6) Don’t progress the plot when most of the players are offline, it’s a pain to deal with.

(( I'm having Luccifer act all Dissidia for his power level kay? ))

"...." A young man in a Black suit of armor was sitting in the forest, reading a letter while sitting on a tree stump.

"2 years in this war, and I'm being asked to choose a side." *He looked up to the trees with the sun shining through the branches, as if he was being sent to heaven.

"Can I just stay the way I am. Why are we at war? Only for land, I prefer to keep things the way they were..."

He got up and stretched, later putting his helmet back on.

"The fact that I look Human right now is good, Lycanthropy sure is hell for me."

Proceeding up the trail, he has not even noticed he was being followed by a Thief. This stalker was jumping through the tree tops just following his target.

"...? Who's there?" He asked in a loud voice. "....Darn lizards.." He kept walking through the trail, the destination he was going for are A small town located right outside the forest. But he will need to pass through a mountain trail which is filled with Taivaar residents. Who knows if they will act hostile, he's ready for a fight.

"...FWAH." A Thief pops down from the trees, with his back turned. "You are from the enemy pact. You have that scent." He said in a deep tone.

"...No. I am alone." Luccifer replied back with a confused look, only acting confused. "HAH. LIES. You! You will surrender to me and prepare for your death!" The Thief pulled out a rapier and dagger, only pointing the rapier up to Luccifer.

Luccifer pulled out his long sword and smacked the rapier away. "If it's a fight, I wouldn't mind." He said.

"Hah! You and your pact are unworthy to be called werewolves. Now surrender your gold and items to me! Or it's death!"

"Let's see if you try." Luccifer said. Both Wolves pointed their swords at each other, preparing for battle.

Enemy encountered!

"Fufufu....Hehe! Take this!" Unnamed Theif ran up to Luccifer, slashing his dagger around 3 times, later stabbing Luccifer with his rapier, how sharp is that rapier? It is quite sharp.

"That barely hurt!" Luccifer called out, his armor blocked most of the pain, as if it felt like someone pushing him hard.

The small village, doubting it was even on the map,yet living each day with fear that the war they have been avoiding for so long might reach to them at any given day,and end up destroying them. The day was cloudy, but not ready to rain yet. The people were busy doing their work. The farmers were still working on the fields next to the village, hoping that the rain would help them with the harvest. The girls and boys were playing around. People trading and buying goods. In the village there was one place that kind of stook out from the rest,it was a dark yet traditional looking caravan. There lived a Necromancer. Rosalinda. Inside it looked like a witchcraft store. Witch were just artefacts and ingridients used for potions and complicated spells. Rosalinda walked around the table. She looked up and stared out the window.

She felt like the weight of war was soon to become stronger and stronger. She heard the bell of the door jingle. She turned and saw someone walk in. Rosalinda stared and walked over to the woman. She stared at her. She seemed sick. Rosalinda stared and looked around. She went to the counter and took a potion she had just made yesterday and handed it to her. The woman noded and walked out. Rosalinda sighed. "If the war reaches this village. No one will survive it..."Rosalinda says, knowing that this place was small and defenseless. There were no trained warriors here. Just kids with dreams to leave the village and join the war,and very concerned parents. Rosalinda satted down on the chair and picked up a staff that was leaning against the wall. She tapped the floor three times with it and the sphere on the table started to glow.

Lei shoved the last couple things she felt she would need into a small leather bag and looked around the little house. She sighed wondering if this would be her last look at what has always been her home. Lei shook her head to clear it.

"My father finally allowed me to join the war and be some help to my kind, I can't waste time on old memories." She scolded herself and walked out of her small hutch. She breathed in the crisp mountain air and closed her eyes the soft touch of the newly rising sun reaching her face. Lei opened her eyes and looked around. She lived in a good sized town, large enough to be put on the map. For it being so early in the morning the town was already bustling with activity. Many Nephilims were early risers here. Lei slipped on her sandals that she placed by the door the night before and walked into town. Many shops were already open and she quickly purchased some dried meat and fruit. Her friend had told her the troops were meeting at the stream not to far from here. Lei quickly wrapped the meat and fruit putting it in her bag tied around her waist. Along with her bag Lei also had her bow and a supply of arrows. Tied to her upper arm was a small vile of poisen to dip her arrows in. She waved to the shop owner and started for the spring.

Thel threw his spear, the tip imbedding itself at the target. He was currently in the Elven capital city, training his weapons for any fight he would be forced to fight in. And to any passerby, he was doing a remarkable job. He walked up to the target, looking at the spear and the red dot in the middle.

Thel cursed. "3.42 Millimeters off." He pulled out the spear, returning it to it's small position. He stored it within his sack, walking out of the training grounds. "Excuse me, sir!" Thel turned, seeing a young elf. "What do you need?"

"I wanted to say how amazed I am at your skills. You certainly are a great marksman." Thel smiled. "Thank you. Now, I must be going. I must report to the Overseer once my training is finished." The elf grinned. "May I come with you, sir? My name is Broan." Thel nodded.

"Sure. And I am Thel. Thel Va'Dam, at your service."

Brizae was more fond of staying in the shadows. She didn't dare make a sound when she took their cooled shelter, the shadows concealing her almost completely, as her dark skin and closed eyes blended with them. If she were seen, she would most likely be killed. If she were heard, she would be searched for. When near races of the light, it was best not to move, speak, or breath in any way but silently. It wasn't a good time to be training as a stealth specialist, the war going on and all, but it was also the best time. It was when she needed the most training, and when she could prove that she could be her best. All she could do then was blend in, shut her mouth, and listen.

>Darkness

Item

"Come to judgement!" he shouted at the top of his lungs as he ran to the Thief with his sword. "Have at you!"

Lunging his sword right towards his opponents shoulder as if he was stabbing, followed by a dark aura emitting from his left hand. "Darkness!" *He threw a black ball of pure dark negative fire at the opponent, but at the cost of this ability is part of the user's life force.

Overusing the power of darkness without letting the life force rest, will result in the life force breaking apart, also known as death.

"Aaaaaaagh!" The Thief fell down unconscious, being fed his own fears which are now poisoning his mind from the Dark Aura.

"...I fight to protect myself. Not for war. I should kill you now, except this will cause a feud between our pacts. So instead, I will let you squirm under the fear you are in." Luccifer explained in a deep tone. "AGH! NO! STOP THE TORTURE!" Thief was yelling in pain as he clutched his head. Wasn't a pretty sight to hear him yell.

"This is the power of the Chaotic Neutral."

He put his sword back in it's whatchamacallit that's on his back, followed by turning around and walking towards his destination.

((I hope you don't mind me naming the building where the elven army resides in Thane'hel.))

It was early morning when a courier came knocking on the front door of the Evergale estate. Galdaneth had been lounging by the fire where his morning stew was brewing. He'd been expecting a quiet morning, as he only had to train the new archers in the afternoon. However at the sound of the brass door knocker pounding against the door, he knew that his morning would change; the only time a courier was sent to him was when the general needed him to assist a scouting group to check out enemy territory.

He opened the door, took the piece of paper that the courier held, and payed the man a few gold coins as a tip. Without a word of thanks, he closed the door and walked back to the kitchen area. Unfolding the paper he read the message that was written. There were some new recruits that were being sent out to help clean up a town that was invaded by some goblins. He was being sent there to overlook the troops, make sure they did the job correctly (and to guard the town with some other archers as they cleaned up the mess).

Galdaneth folded the paper and placed it on the kitchen table. One of the servants of the estate had prepared a bowl of the stew while he had answered the door. He ate a few spoonfuls before heading up the stairs to the armory in the house. The armory consisted of multiple bows, and a few swords, that were concealed in display cases or were hung up on the walls. He grabbed a quiver that was full of arrows made of Dwarfish steel, with the tips dipped in cobra venom found in the deserts near the Dwarfish capitol, and strapped it onto his back. In a case nearby lay his favorite bow, crafted from pure ebony ore. Strapping that onto his back as well, Galdaneth checked the pockets along the front of his armor. He had all his herbs, potions, and of course, poisons.

Before he left the house, Galdaneth passed his mother's room and peaked inside. Just like the day before, she was laying in bed without a sound, minus the occasional hacking cough. A priest was supposed to come and try another curing technique to try and heal her. Though both he and the priests knew that she couldn't be cured; they could only delay her end. He turned away from the door and headed to the entrance of the Evergale estate.

Galdaneth slipped through the door, and gazed at Thane'hel. The stone city looked peaceful under the sunlight. A few cars passed through the city --most likely filled with goods to be traded in the market square. He could see beyond the gate of the estate that children were running about. He scowled a bit at that; he didn't like how noisy kids were, especially so close to his home. Sighing, walked down the steps and out the gate and headed towards the training ground.

As he neared the high walls that was the Hel Hold, the castle that held all the soldiers for the elven army, he saw a small group of troops waiting towards the entrance. General Egnor was there too, probably to fill him in further on the situation. Galdaneth put his right fist to his chest and bowed to the General as he reached the group.

"Evergale," Egnor nodded his head to the younger elf, "You'll be leading the team of archers that will be looking over the new recruits as they scavenge the mainly human town just northeast of here. The damage done by the goblins is immense, and it'll take a few days the least to clean the mess up. You'll be responsible for taking out any suspicious looking suspects, along with keeping record of all the civilians, both alive and dead. I highly doubt any humans have been taken as captives, but check around the families to make sure. I already sent out the group of archers along with a few other troops to meet you there. Make sure the new recruits don't set a foot out-of-line. Got that?"

"Yes, sir," Galdaneth confirmed and looked at the group of soldiers behind General Egnor. They were young; the youngest being at least fifteen years younger than him. "Let's head out," he said to the troops, and he lead the way towards the entrance of Thane'hel.

((If anybody doesn't know what to have their character do, they're more than free to have them be in the little group my guy is guarding.))

Arya listened silently at the opening of the tent as her father and several others discussed plans on their small group of soldiers’ next move. So she stood at the edge of the tent wishing to be doing something productive. She usually chose not to partake in these discussions but it was a requirement to be present. They were near several dwarven cities observing the best plans to attack one of the larger cities. Then they were to report back home and wait until they received orders to take an army to return to battle.

Life had changed significantly since the war started two years ago. Arya could remember it just like it was yesterday. Several messengers had ran through the whole city of Thane’hel, claiming that they were at war with the ground-dwellers. At first, many of their people would not accept the truth and tried to stay out of the war. Unfortunately, after a small army of dark elves and goblins attacked several main cities belonging to the high elves, they had no choice but to take action.

Arya could remember many of the horrid battles that had taken place during the first few months of the war. It had only been two years since the start of the war yet it felt like a lifetime for many. She shook her head, trying not to relive the painfully memories of the past. Her father’s voice shook her out of her daydreaming “What did the scouts have to say on this matter?” Arya walked towards the table where her father and several other soldiers surrounded, pointing at different places on the map. “Well, if we can get at least a group of ten to create a distraction over on this side,” One of elves pointed near the west side of the map and continued. “We can divide the rest of our army to attack on the other two sides unnoticed.” Arden sighed and looked closely at the map, trying to find any small advantage they could use. Arya could tell her father was thinking immensely hard. She understood his hesitant, any wrong move could cause them another massive loss which they couldn’t afford at the moment.

After several long minutes, with many debates, they had found a solution. “Very well then. Here, Mel. Take this to one of our runners, have them take it straight to Thane’hel as fast as possible. Our troops will follow after him.” Arden said as he gave the elf the letter which held their plans. The elf nodded and rushed out of the tent. The rest of the elves took their leave one by one. Arya acknowledged each of them as they passed her. Her father fell into a chair, completely exhausted. “When should we move out?” Arya asked as she took a closer look at the map. Arden stood up slowly, “As soon as possible. We need to leave in about two hours preferable sooner. Tell the men to take camp down.” She nodded and moved the opening flap of the tent to go out. Two of their troops walked by, “Tell the others we’re leaving as soon as possible. Orders from the captain. We have less than two hours to take the camp down.“ She shouted towards the two of them. They nodded and ran off, telling the rest of the men.

"I know I'm nearing the town, somehow I have a feeling I will be pulled into a battle or at least run into a Terriotorial Tavaair."

Travling around, he saw the mountain trail just up ahead. Who knows what will happen.

"Just need to get out of this forest...once I get out of here, they won't be able to find me..."

He reached a resting point where he sat down for a bit, taking off his helmet. Underneath the helmet was a Brown haired, Neon white face. His eyes were a light blue color.

Brushing his hair from the helmet hair, he got up, and began to take off his plating. Only underneath is a Red sleeveless tunic and Brown knee length shorts. Begining to stretch his arms and legs also.

"AAAAAHHH...That plating...really hard to move in there. Ow my back..." Pushing his back foward, hearing some cracking from his spine. "Hmm...mmmm...that's nice..-w- "

He jumped up feeling free, grabbing his sword and strapping the guard around his back and neck. For his armor, why not carry it around? Sure it may be a bit heavy, but he can sure use the work out.

"Haahh...HEAVE....LET'S GO." Grabbing the purple helm and plating, he balanced it on his back and started to walk up the mountain trail. "I need a horse, but if I get one, I would end up eating it like what happened to Bucky.."

Luccifer kept on trucking up towards the mountain, Keep on truckin as they say.

Thel and Broan walked in a non-specific direction, simply chatting as if they were friends for ever. "Anyways, how old are you, Broan?" Thel asked, trying to find the Overseer. "I'm 21. Joined the Military not too long ago."

"I'm 240." Thel said, grinning.

"No way."

"Yup. Didn't you know how old Dragonians get?"

Broan didn't answer, as a Courier arrived. "Thel Va'Dam?" The Courier asked.

"Thats me." The Courier nodded, handing Thel a letter. Upon opening it, Thel read it to Broan.

"As of now, you are to be directed to work as BattleMage for one Galdaneth. Report to him by the gates immediatly." Thel sighed, looking at Broan. "Ya gotta leave? Thats too bad. But, duty calls. I hope I see you again." Thel smiled. "Agreed. And next time, how 'bout a nice drink in the nearest pub?"

"Drinks are on you." Broan said, walking off. Thel smiled again, then he too walked off, going to find Galdaneth.

Rosalinda started to mutter some words as the sphere glew different colors. "What is this darkness that I see?show me what you mean to speak."Rosalinda muttered as the cyrstals of her staff were glowing as well. The sphere glew brightly and some smoke amd mist started to sorround her. She looked up and could see the images of the cursed and dammed souls that were still roaming between the earth and the beyond. She closed her eyes and helded onto her staff. "Is there anyone that wishes to give me a warning?"Rosalinda asks. Suddenlt the smoke and mist turned green and black. A huge ghoul appeared screaching. Its screach sounded like a thousand screaming angels as if they had just been dammed for eternity. Rosalinda stared in shock. Then suddenly the mist and smoke dissapeared and everything was back to normal. Rosalinda stared, blinking. She slightly helded her head. This was...unsettleling.

She quickly stood up and made her way to the window. Everything seemed to be peaceful. For the moment. She then looked around and grabbed a bag. She started to get some ingridients inside of it. "Lets see. I'll need this, and this...some of this..."Rosalinda says. This warning was simply terrifying. Whatever it was warning of. It wasn't good. Rosalinda knew that she would need to get prepared. And soon.

Lei walked past the village towards the stream not too far down the mountain. Her feet hardly making a noise against the solid rock ground. She stopped suddenly her head tilted toward what she thought were footsteps. She crouched down and looked a little over the ledge to see a strange figure walking up the mountain trail which happened to lead to her village. Lei kept quiet slowing her breathing examining this new comer. He obviously wasn't from here. She folded her wings behind her back to make her tall figure appear smaller. Lei slowly stood back up taking her bow from her back. She could never be too careful in these times. Lei tried to decide whether to call down to the stranger or not. He seemed to have a rather large load on his back so he wouldn't be that difficult to over power if it came to fighting. She stepped down off the ledge deciding it was worth a shot.

" Who goes there?" She called down to him.

( I am going to make a town if you don't mind. )

"Humans of Northwind! Surrender yourself to our blades and your lives will be spared. Those who fight will fall, your white walls will be stained with blood. Your women and children will weep over your bodies. Save the tears and lower your arms!" called Scape, projecting his voice clear and loud. He knew the soldiers were gathered by their gates, pressed up with their ears against the wall hearing every word he said. And as well he knew, they would not surrender. Humans. So prideful.

Scape issued one more warning and again it was followed by silence. Wearily, Scape motioned to the troops at his heel towards the town's defensive wall and the troops, their blood pumping and adrenaline running charged.

Before the group reached the entrance gate to Thane'hel, Galdaneth made sure to stop by the market place. Remembering General Egnor's words, they'd be gone for a few days. They might as well pick up on supplies. Not so much food, since he and the other archers could hunt, but miscellaneous supplies such as torches for when it grew dark, fur bedrolls to sleep on, and a few extra arrows for himself (just in case he ran out). A few trips to various vendors, and a couple hundred coins lighter found him watching the other troops gather other supplies they needed.

He could see a few of them buying a new sword or shield. Some were improving their equipment by the makeshift blacksmith towards the edge of the little square clearing. A few minutes later and Galdaneth found himself tapping his foot impatiently. They didn't have all day; they needed to make to Heagrove before scavengers could pick apart the damage. Soon enough the soldiers had all their supplies and joined him atop a, what seemed to be, never ending trail of steps.

Galdaneth made sure each of the soldiers had their gear rolled up and strapped to themselves correctly. The last thing he needed was to have one of the troops complaining about how they lost their bedroll and didn't want to sleep on the cold ground. Together they walked down the stone steps that led to the archway that seemed to reach to the heavens, the entrance to Thane'hel. If one looked close, they could see a traveling prayer carved into the stone that read, "Even if you reach the ends of the earth, know that Golondor will shine his heart down upon you to guide you home."

The group reached the two guards that stood post on each end of the archway. Galdaneth nodded his head to the two, and turned to the group of five that he'd be looking after. Before he could say anything to them, he saw yet another courier running towards him. Mentally he groaned. Had General Egnor forgotten something? He took the letter and tipped the courier. Unfolding the parchment he quickly scanned its contents and then stuffed it into one of the pockets on his armor. It appeared there'd be one more to join his group.

"Listen up," Galdaneth addressed his group of soldiers, "It appears General Egnor is sending a battlemage with us. I'm sure it's just for precautionary measures as backup. But nonetheless, be on your own guard. Just because we have a mage coming with us doesn't mean you can get injured as much as you like. You have to carry your own weight, and look after it as well. General Egnor said to wait for him here, so feel free to rest yourselves until he arrives." A couple of the soldiers situated themselves on the ground, and the others leaned against the archway. Galdaneth stood with his back to the arch and folded his arms across his chest, waiting. He was scowling, not exactly happy to be kept waiting again. He just wanted to get the job on the road and get as much traveling done before the sun sets.

Whoever this battlemage was, he better hurry up.

Thel sat on a bench, checking his bag.

"Hmm...Potions? Check. Spell tome? Check. Provisions? Check. Lance? Check. Staff? Check..." He mumbled to himself, attracting the glances of a few Elves, wondering why a Draconian was muttering to himself. But with everything in order, Thel briskly walked to the North Gate.

As he neared, Thel could see the Scout troop he was assigned to. He assumed Galdaneth was the Elf with the stern orderly gaze. The same one who was wearing the ornate armor of a Field Marshall, as the others wore simple foot soldier gear. Thel straightened his own armor, a mix of Mithril armor peices and enchanted cloth.

"Are you Galdaneth Evergale?" Thel asked, coming up to Galdaneth. "I am Thel Va'Dam. The Battlemage General Egnor assigned to this particular troop." Thel glanced nervously at the other Elves, most of whom stared at Thel with suspicion.

Turning to the voice that called out to him, Galdaneth instantly froze. He'd been expecting another High Elf, or even a Nephilim, to accompany the mission. Not some Draconian. It's not that he had a problem with them. It's just that he didn't trust them. Any Draconian he instantly assumed to be tied in with the ground dwellers. He'd seen many of them fight with the dark elves and goblins off on the battlefield. He'd wasted many of his arrows trying to shoot them out of the sky. He'd been scarred enough by their claws in his time serving the army. He wasn't so willing to accept that the giant, dark-red-scaled, walking lizard as his comrade. Unfolding his arms from his chest and clenching his fists at his sides, he made a note to keep an eye on the so-called Thel Va'Dam."

"I am," Galdaneth curtly replied, "Color me surprised to see one of your kind on our side." He turned away from the battlemage and walked to the other troops. They too were staring at the new addition to the group. Galdaneth cleared his throat, which caused them to turn their heads towards him.

"Alright, now that we're all here, let's head out. Remember, keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. There's likely to be some goblins hanging around after the raid." The soldiers all walked through the archway and out of the city. Before Galdaneth left himself, he turned back to the Draconian. He had to crane his head up in order to look at the lizard, who was at least a foot taller than him. "I don't know why you're fighting against your own kind. I don't know if you're completely devoted to our cause. But I swear, if you step one foot out of line I will have you executed for treason."

Thel gave an honorary Draconian slaute- One only given when in the presence of a surperior.

"I am not surprised by your suspicions. My kind have a tendency for henious acts, but I feel I am different. I will do my best to stay within line and obey your commands, Sir." Thel nodded, slinging his Lance onto his back. "But may I add; I have fought my Kin before. It is not pleasent. But they were fighting for a cause I feel is unworthy. I fight because I have lost. I fight so I can regain what was lost. I hope you will understand." And with that, Thel jogged off to rejoin the other troops.

"Bootlicker," Galdaneth thought as he brought up the rear of the group. The sun was beaming above them, and judging by the position, it was a little past noon. With the little delay, there'd be no way they would get to Heagrove before dark. They'd have to stop eventually to hunt and make their campsite. The thought of hunting made the trip a little bit better; he'd be able to sell the pelts of the animals to the blacksmiths to make a little extra gold.

In front of him a couple of the soldiers made small talk. Galdaneth did a scan of the endless hills around then. Heagrove was north west of Thane'hel. There'd probably be a river nearby, which should be their main concern once they make camp. There was an unnerving itch in the back of his head about the whole mission. It wasn't the raid that was the problem, it was the location. Heagrove was pretty close to Thane'hel. The generals most likely thought that the raid was to be a threat to the elves (other wise they'd probably send someone else besides him to go investigate). The ground dwellers were probably waiting to see their reaction to the problem, and see if they'd strike back. Depending on the condition of the town, they would.

That situation would be handled once they reached Heagrove. Until then, Galdaneth figured he'd test the troops, and the battlemage, on their field-smarts.

"Okay, listen up!" He called out, "We should probably stop to hunt soon. Now, there are various types of animals we can find out here on the hills. The main problem here is that there aren't any trees or undergrowth we can use for camouflage. However there is a little trick we can use to keep from animals noticing us. It's useful for when you're traveling along open terrains such as these. Does anyone know what the little trick is?"
