There’s a frustrating glitch on the Wuhu Island track in Mario Kart 7 that allows lesser people to skip quite far ahead in a race, and unfortunately Nintendo has no plans to fix it. Here’s what they said:

We are aware that it is possible to navigate a certain part of the track in Wuhu Island in a way that allows a large part of the course to be bypassed. There are no plans to update the game to remove this shortcut as doing so would create an unfair advantage for the users of the original release of the game. Rest assured your comments have been added to our records for Mario Kart 7.

Its too bad that they can't patch it through a 3DS update. :mellow:

Exactly what I was thinking. Or, sort of like they did with Skyward Sword was it? They made that downloadable channel to fix the bug that was wreaking save data. Couldn't they do the same to Mario Kart 7?

that's bullshit, i hate playing that course because all you ever see are these jackasses jumping off the side and getting like a 30 sec lead. it really ruined a great track.

But I hate when other players use that glitch on Wuhu Island. it is so cheap asnd take the fun away from racing through the whole track. I am one of those racers that plays the honorable and fair way rather than taking the cheap and easy way to win the race. That just shows that you have no skill and that you know thast you're going to get left in the dust as soon as the race starts. This is why I don't choose that track anymore. Way too many people use that glitch.

What they won't fix it that really bad because this is a amazing track. At first the glitch didn't bug me that much but then everyone online start it picking this track only and now it does bugs me.

 

Oh and when you finish playing it and then it get pick again this it's the only track that I will never win online.
