For a long time, in a secret laboratory in Area 51, the government has been testing mysterious creatures that have powers behind belief. Though the creatures may not even be so odd. They could be teenagers in high school! And that's what they have done ever since they've had technology. The rare kids that can gain mutational powers from DNA loss. Then their lives change forever ... they're immediately transported to Area 51 to be tested and, if possible, killed during experiments. Though teens have escaped the horrid place and spreaded all over the world in fear of being captured. In one town there are more then one hiding in absolute terror that the government might find and bring them back to Area 51. That's why they have made the M.U.T.A.N.T for support of other mutants that have escaped and crush the government from testing on them again.

Okay now you can post your sign ups and I'll start after I have 3 or 4 people, seems like a good number to start.

"I'll go" Chase said raising his hand. He then pulled out a bead and changed it to a metal night stick. He wanted to go with Lucas because Chase didn't know what he thought of Lucas quite yet. There was something Chase didn't like about him but maybe it was just guys being guys but there was still something there. Chase walked forward and looked back "You coming Master of Energy?" Chase said with an attitude

"Hey, just call me Lucas, i only call myself 'Master of Energy' because i'm the only one i know about out there." said Lucas. Lucas then call on a small ball of energy to light the way. "Who's gonna watch who's back?"

Wesley shook his head. He was going to get caught because of those two. He could just feel it. He looked over at Ada.

"We better keep an eye out to make sure they don't get cornered from the outside." he said.

He figured it would be more natural for him to be sitting rather than just hanging around, so he sat next to Ada. He was silent for a moment.

"Um, I don't mean to pry, but what...abilities do you have?"

"i got your back since you got the light. Although I have an Idea."Chase then grabbed a bunch of beads and they all changed into shiny metallic disk that were pretty big. Chase threw them inside all over the house. "With the way I've positioned them just have some energy shining on these and they should light up the whole place. Making it easier for me to watch your back" Chase said

Ada nodded in agreement.

" I just hope the place doesn't come down with their constant arguing." She said looking over at Wesley.

" I can form illusions in other people's minds as well as read their thoughts send messages that sort of thing." Ada said trying to keep it simple.

Wesley nodded appreciatively.

"That should help keep you out of trouble." he said. "Mine isn't too bad for keeping out of the way. I can control stand and stones. I am..."

He went silent, seeming unsure.

"I am...not...physically normal. I am made up of silicon. Sand. I can use that to make my skin harder and disperse myself into a sandstorm like form."

He said all that fast, like he wasn't sure he wanted to say it.

"Alright, but stay close." said Lucas as he launched his energy ball at the metal plates, lighting the place, and walking in. "You know, it may sound wierd, but the fact you can manipulate metal reminds me of a guy from a comic i read once......wierd huh?" asked Lucas. "Anyway, let's keep moving, and keep your eyes peeled."

" Really?" Ada hesitated then touched Wesley's arm.

" Your skin feels normal though." She commented slightly confused by this. How can sand feel like skin? She wondered looking off toward the building.

" I wish i could tell if there were people in there from here." She mummbled to herself unable to read minds from that distance.

Wesley gave a slight smile.

"Took a while to do that." he admitted. "But it has paid off."

He glanced at the building, agreeing with Ada's mutterings. Would be nice to get a better look at the building just in case.

"We could go into the gift shop beside it." Wesley suggested. "That will get you closer."

He paused a moment, considering.

"Will that be close enough?" he asked.

Ada looked over at the gift shop.

" Ya, thats close enough." She said standing up and blocking out the thoughts of the other people in the area. It felt good for her mind to finally be silent. She started to wonder why the people from the lab didn't restrain their throught around her. Is it even possible? She wondered to herself her mind starting to wander. She pulled herself out of her thought and looked over at Wesley.

" Should i try to warn them if i find someone?"

Wesley got up to follow Ada.

"Yes." he said with a nod. "Either you or me. You are probably the fastest to get the info to them with your power. I'll go in if they need back up."

Wesley looked up and down the street, less worried about cars as people who might be a bit too interested in the two superpowered teens. He then crossed the street, wanting to take a better look at the gift shop before both he and Ada went in.

she was finally in the main square.maggie took oyt the money her family gave her before she escaped.maggie it is not the time to be thinking of food you need to find other mutants she whispered puting the money away.she walked around some more.so uhh where am i now she asked herself.she tryed to find some one like her.she put her hands in her pockets.

"Yeah that is weird, but what comic could it have been? But now that you mention comic book heroes, does your energy powers work on all types of energy like Kinetic? Like Gambit from the X-men stuff, he would just touch things and it'd explode? It'd be pretty cool if you could do that stuff" Chase said seeing that the house looked clear. They searched the whole place and it looked clear. "Should we call everyone in here?"

"No, i can't make anything blow up, i wouldn't if i wanted to, the worst i do, is blow big holes in walls, and can blast people from here to the center of antarctica, or to the center of the north, or china, did i metion australia?" asked Lucas. "Well, i don't see any trouble....by the way, i may not be a telekenetic, or telepathic, but i scence you don't trust me, besides, now i remember, you remind me of Magnito."

Chase sighed. "Well yeah, I thought you were kind of arrogant when you first arrived but I don't know, once we used our abilities together It made me realize who you are, it gave me insight on your past, not much but enough to let me know you weren't a bad guy. I'm sorry for my false thoughts, no hard feelings?" Chase asked as he held out his hand to give Lucas a handshake

Lucas took Chase's hand and shook it. "No hard feelings, we're all mutants here, although i could've done without that facility they expiramented on us in, that's how i got the scar on my left eye, due to their expiraments, when i escaped, i blinded the same guy that scared me on his left eye." Lucas then continued walking through the building. "I wasn't even intending to blind the guy, heck, most of them wouldn't have been killed if that idiot didn't duck making my energy blast hit the flamable tanks behind him."

Ada followed Wesley across the street.

" The giftshop is empty except for the shop owner." Ada told him after catching up to him. She gently opened the door causing a small bell to ring. Ada smiled in the shop keepers direction and pretended to look at some of the items. She blocked out the shop keeprs exited thoughts of costumers and focused on the building Lucas and Chase were in.

Wesley considered staying outside to keep an eye on things, but that might be to conspicuous. He moved to go inside when he noticed a girl walking down the street. She seemed...different. She looked worried and that she was looking for something. He would have dismissed it if he hadn't seen hat expression on every single mutant he had ever met, in one form or another. Wesley continued to watch Maggie walk, considering what to do.

"Oh well man that sucks, I lost one of my best friends when we escaped, I still blame myself for it even though I know its not my fault. But hey lets get everyone in there, I'll try to send a thought to Ada and tell her were are clear and safe here for now." Chase then looked up and closed his eyes

 

"Ada I hope you are getting this but we are ready in the building, its clear and safe." Chase thought to Ada hoping she'd pick it up

maggie stoped.she felt as if some one were watching her.she looked at wesley.come on maggie talking to no one being all cooped up people will get suspicous.she walked across the street to where wesley was standing.uh hello she said looking at the ground.she looked up at wesley.maggie felt like some one shot her with a water gun but she knew it was nothing at all.so uhhh i'm guessing your not a mutant right she said looking at the ground again.

Wesley grimaced.

"Not the kind of question you should be spreading around." he said. "But yes. I take it from your question, you are one too."

He glanced around to make sure Maggie wasn't followed. Seeing no one, he relaxed a smidgen.

"I'm Wesley."

Ada sighed with relief.

Thats good Wesley and I will head over, but by the looks of it he just found another mutant. She thought sending the message to both of them. She turned to walk out of the shop smiling at the now dissapointed shop keepr before she left.

" The building is clear, who is this?" She asked looking at Maggie suspiciously but dropping her guard when all she could read off of her mind was fear and confusion.

maggie was still stunned.uhh i'm maggie she said.she looked at the man in the shop.she was really disappointed.she looked at ada and wesley.so the boy's name is wesley and the gril uses telepathy she thought.ma'ma what is your name she asked.

Wesley looked at the abandoned building then back at Ada and Maggie.

"Let's continue this conversation inside, shall we?" he suggested.

He walked over to the building's front door and opened it. He beckoned for the girls to go inside.

Ada stepped into the door.

We are coming inside now, she new girl is with us she seems fine to trust. She sent Lucas and Chase the message before turning to look at Maggie.

" I'm Ada." She said not used tobeing addressed as " Ma'am" Ada turned and walked further into the building shivering slightly from the chill of the place. Not the most pleasant of places thats for sure. She thought looking around a little. She had to admit the place would work for their needs.
