For a long time, in a secret laboratory in Area 51, the government has been testing mysterious creatures that have powers behind belief. Though the creatures may not even be so odd. They could be teenagers in high school! And that's what they have done ever since they've had technology. The rare kids that can gain mutational powers from DNA loss. Then their lives change forever ... they're immediately transported to Area 51 to be tested and, if possible, killed during experiments. Though teens have escaped the horrid place and spreaded all over the world in fear of being captured. In one town there are more then one hiding in absolute terror that the government might find and bring them back to Area 51. That's why they have made the M.U.T.A.N.T for support of other mutants that have escaped and crush the government from testing on them again.

Wesley looked over at Maggie.

"They're are a few other like us already inside." he explained. "We are just trying to find a place to live for now. We aren't going to hurt you and we'd be glad to have you around."

Wesley even managed a smile.

"Welcome, glad ya'll are safe" Chase said as he looked at the new girl. "What can she do?" Chase asked as he looked over her. He tried to figure out what she could do but he wasn't quite sure, he could usually tell by the way someone carries themselves but not this time something was weird but it may have been because she looked a little scared.

suddenly, a crash was heard and dust came into the area. it was caused by Lucas as at the point where everyone came in, he was in the attic of the building. "In case anyone's wondering, the boards in the attic are rotten." said Lucas as he got up and cracked his neck to ease the pain.

maggie looked at the others.she was trying to find a good way to answer chase's question.i can go through walls and other objects she said.maggie looked at lucas.maggie was close to a corner in the building so she sat down in the corner.maggie took out the money again.ada and wesley seem pretty nice but the other two i'm not sure of she whispered.she smiled.maggie stood up with her money and walked over to the others.maggie but the dollar away.i wonder if anyone will ask to see if anyone has money or something she thought.she stook her finger through her pants.

Wesley closed the door behind him. He gave the immediate inside a once over. Not the best of conditions to live in, but better then nothing. He glanced up at the hole Lucas made on his way down.

"How bad are you hurt, Lucas?" he asked the other mutant.

"I'll live, that was less painful than the last explosion i was in....i was recovering from burns for a month.....that explosion i metioned was not my fault, idiotic government agent who hunted me down decided to drop a active granade.......AT A GAS STATION!" shouted Lucas. "I've been in a few explosive situations, you'd figure i'd see them coming by now." said Lucas as he brushed the dust of himself. "So, who's the new girl?"

Ada watched sliently as the other s conversed. There won't be a point of staying here if it gets detroyed before we even get a chance to use it. She thought to herself stepping up to examine the new skylight.

" The damage is minor it can be easily fixed." She observed making a mental note to check for weak floor boards. She noticed Maggie taking out some money which reminded her of her own empty stomach. She shrugged off the feeling and leaned back against the wall.

maggie looked at lucas.my name's maggie and i suppose your lucas maggie said taking her hand of her pocket.i'm going to go check to make sure no one is coming maggie said walking for the door.she opened it up alittle and looked through the crack.good no one is coming she thought closing the door back.walked for a door and walked through it.i think this use to be a aprtment or something she said looking into a desk still there.she closed the drawer she was looking in.she walked around the room alittle bit more.maggie looked at the ceiling.i wonder if the building will come down anytime soon she said walking out of the room.ada should we go get some food for the night she asked.

"I can do that." Wesley offered. "While I won't be able to detect people like Ada can, my powers might make me better at getting away."

He checked his billfold and found about 20 dollars.

"Either way, we'll all need to chip in for this, if we can."

ok maggie said giving him her 20 buck.maggie looked around.so is it just you going or am i going with you maggie asked.maggie was till looking around.she looked at the holes in the ceiling.she looked at ada and smiled.

Ada managed a smile back. How can she bare to smile anymore? She wondered then pulled 10 dollars out of her pocket.

" My powers aren't too useful in a crowded area i just get overloaded with thoughts." She said to Wesley.

" Besides the lab guys have trained themselves not to think about their job ever since they discovered what i could do." Ada admitted holding back that they were pretty bad at it.

it is kinda hard to smile knowing how we could be tracked down by our appearence.if me and wesley are going to leave we need something to cover out faces alittle so they won't know it is us she said.if anyone leaves here period they need a good story if they are captured by sceintest or they need a hat to cover their faces she thought.maggie ran back into the room with the desk.she looked through the drawers again.then she looked in the big hole at the very bottom of the desk.she found two things that could keep there faces hidden alittle.lucas ada come here real quick she yelled.

Lucas ran in. "Hey, what the slag is going on?"

Wesley heard the call and came into the room Maggie was in.

"What have you got?" he asked.

He came up beside Maggie and crouched down to get a better look at what she found.

Chase pulled out $5 "Sorry, I wish I had more" Chase said. "If you bring home groceries I can cook pretty well" Chase said "It was a skill I picked up when I first showed up over here on this city" Chase said as he saw a kitchen. He looked over the stuff and it looked like it'd all work just fine. Chase came back to the group and waited to see who was going to get the food.

Ada walked into the office and looked over Maggie's shoulder.

" What has gotten you so exited?" She asked looking down at the dilapitated desk. She looked back at Chase and shrugged.

" If thats the best you can do there there is nothing we can ask for." She said wondering how people comforted eachother. She made a mental note to work on her socail skills if she planned to remain in civilization.

the people from the lab would at the tops know us when they see us she said showing them the things she found.she put the items on the desk and crawled under the desk.what happened to this place she asked herself trying not to inhale the dust.she tryed to move how she was postioned.maggie stook her head out from under the desk.nothing under the desk maggie said crawling out from under the desk.maggie put one of the hats on chase and made it so you could just barely see his eyes.

"Great, hats, that's really gonna help." said Lucas sarcastically. "Not to sound rude or anything but, how are hats going to keep us hidden from the government indefinatly?"

Ada shrugged.

" Who knows." She grabbed a baseball cap and stood on her toes to put it on Lucas's head.

" It coveres your eyes which is what most people will recognize you by." She said tilting it slightly over his eyes.

maggie punched lucas in the arm.it looks good on you lucas she said sarcastically.maggie laughed alittle.she tilted the hat on wesley alittle more.the only problem is i could only find two she said.maggie looked at wesley.lets hope none of the sceintest are as short as me if they are then they might see both of ypur eyes under the hats said.lets really hope they aren't she said.

"Well, from what i remember of my time in that facilaty, they were using me to charge their weapons and all, so if any do recognize me, they'll get more..." said Lucas as he called on a tiny energy orb. "Energy than they bargined for." said Lucas as he adjusted his hat.

energy then they bargined for she repeated.she was surprised.wow you guys got cool mutant powers she said.maggie started tapping her foot.maggie quickly stoped.do whatever you want except burn this place down i'm going to look around she said walking out of the room.maggie walked down a hall and entered the first door.

"Ok, you do that, i'll check out the area outside, don't want anything stupid to happen." said Lucas as he headed for the front door. "By the way, if you hear anything being thrown around while i'm outside, i've probably run into trouble." said Lucas as he went out the door.

Chase put on the hats and smiled as he played with the bill, I always liked hats Chase said as he played around with it. "Does this mean we need new clothes or what. What is are plan for working this, do we just sit here or are we going to travel around and run trying not to get caught?" Chase asked curious to how this new group would work out

maggie could hear both lucas and chase.we'll get found if you don't quiet your voices she yelled.she ran from the room she was looking at back to the room chase was at.as long as we aren't found we shouldn't need to run she said.maggie stoped dead in her tracks.that and aslo if anyone hears us they might call the cops who might call the people at the lab and the people at the lap would try to capture us and.... i don't want to die at their hands she whispered.maggie looked around and sighed.so how did you guys end up at the lap in the first place how did they find out you had powers she asked.
