Final Fantasy: Incarcerated RP

Recommended Posts

August woke up feeling much better than he had when he'd talked to Jared, but he wasn't quite at his peak. He guessed that there was only so far one could push their body without repercussions. "Hey Vaan?" he asked. "What is it?" Vaan responded. "Just wanted to apologize for the way I was acting earlier. Marcus dying, it really got to me. I realize now, though, that it's no good to shut out the world. I've got to keep living and live to the fullest. Not just for me, but for Marcus as well. I don't want anyone saying he left behind a broken comrade." August could feel a warmth coming from Vaan. The warmth of a smile.

Just then, August heard the door to the clinic open up. "Hey Jared!" he called out. "I'm in here. You heard anything from the others? I've got this weird feeling in my gut that something's going down."

(Sorry, I forgot about this lol. Can someone tell me what's happened?)

(Uh, Joy ran away like only Cloud could, Mariah and Calder are fighting together, and you can just insert Chuck in there somehow. They're at a hotel.)

(Also, August and Jared are at an abandoned clinic to take some time to train.)

Mariah hadn't fully realized how worried she had been for Joy until a crazy amount of relief hit her upon hearing his voice. "I'm fine," she responded. "Calder and I are at a hotel, and we've been able to rest. But I called to ask about you. Where are you, and why did you leave?" she couldn't keep the small tinge of annoyance and hurt from her voice, although she pretty much knew the answer.

Just then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something on the television that caught her attention. She turned the volume up so that she could just hear it while waiting for Joy's reply. That was when she saw the man who killed Marcus on the screen.

Jared was a little surprised to see August in such high spirits, but he decided not to question it. "No, I haven't heard anything from anyone else. I don't think they even know who I am yet," he said, chuckling a little. Then he turned serious again. "If you've got a bad feeling though, maybe you'd better call the others. I'd do it, but they might get suspicious if someone they don't know is asking to meet up with them." He then looked at his phone, checking the Internet for news in Japan, and to his shock, the first thing he saw was a picture of the man who had killed Marcus. There was a video of the event, and he played it, taking in the scene of Cain and the governor. "Hey, August, you'd better look at this," he said, offering his phone for August to see.

Just as everything on the news was about the killer, Paul and Victoria finally got into town and was unloading the bus. They were staying at the hotel that Calder and Mariah were at. "So, this is it, we are just back here like normal?" Paul asked. "Oh come on, we need a little break from our tour so I moved back the dates for 2 months later. Now lets get checked into our rooms and then we will go look around." Victoria said. They walked up to the check-in desk and got checked in. They then went to the evelator with their stuff and were headed towards their room.

Before the evelator closed, Aria noticed that they were here. "What are those losers doing here? Well I guess I can always send them a posion basket." Aria said. Aria was staying at the hotel for a break to clear her mind on how to destory Paul and Victoria. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Noel asked. "Shut up!" Aria said.

"If that doesn't get those baffoons running in here I don't know what will," Cain said. He finished tying the govenor up. They were a good 100 feet under the warehouse by now. The assassins made the path down long and dangerous, it was a dark labyrinth, and that gave Cain the advantage because he knew it like the back of his hand.

"What did you do to my son?! What are you going to do with me?" the govenor asked fearfully.

"The same thing if you don't shut your old ass up!" Cain yelled. He back handed the govenor across the face, breaking the govenor's nose, and knocking him unconsious.

"Finally peace and quiet...I hope that boy didn't whine as much as you or I did the world a favor by ending him," Cain said...then the feelings came back, the never ending guilt that he killed a kid...

When Jared showed him the video from the news August's face turned quickly to fury. He quickly calmed down, however, as he realized that fury would only cloud his judgement. "We need to head over there as soon as you feel prepared for it. You're the most recent person I know of to become a host for an inhabitor, so you don't have much experience yet, I assume. If you have any questions or anything you want to try out or practice then just ask and I'll do my best to help. I'm sure that the others will have seen the news and will head that way, but I'll send Mariah a text telling her to check the news just in case. That girl has everyone's number. Something tells me that this will be the main story on the news here for the next good while."

Chuck had gone with Mariah and Calder, but kept to himself. Squall's personality started melding into his own, causing him to just want to be alone at the moment. Before, all this seemed almost like just another game to him. But having witnessed someone he knew actually die caused him to realize just how real it all was.

James sighed with relief. The shock of loosing an arm was too much for Sephiroth, so he had retreated deep into James's mind. He was in the same hotel as Mariah, Calder, and Chuck, but didn't know. He was sitting on the bed, looking at the bag that contained Jenova's head. Even though Sephiroth had no control over him right now, he knew he would be stopped if he tried to do anything to the head.

Joy nodded, "I'm fine." Just then, lightning streaked across the sky, lighting it up. "Yep, everything's great." The darkness seemed to swallow him whole, and he drove off the road into a ditch. His phone slipped out of his hand, and smashed on the ground. He heard it buzz, and then everything was quiet. He stumbled out of the ditch, and felt blood running down his arms, and then he heard that voice. "So, Cloud, are you ready to end this?" Joy groaned. "Fine."

Joy?!” Nothing. “Damn!” Mariah was scared for him, and wanted to go and help him, but she didn't even know where to begin to look. Okay, Tifa, what do we do?

Cloud will be okay...” Tifa said, sounding a little unsure. “Anyway, let's focus on Cain, since we actually do know where he is.”

Right,” Mariah said. Her anger over Marcus's murder reignited, and she pushed her fear for Joy aside as much as she could, just hoping that he was alright. She looked at Calder and Chuck and urgently said, “Let's go.” Then she got her things together and exited the hotel room. At that moment she saw that she had received a text message from August. She texted him back as she quickly walked, saying that she, Calder, and Chuck would meet him at the place Cain had said he would be.

Calder picked up his backpack, and followed Mariah out of the room. "So, uh, Chuck, you're coming right?" Calder was tempted to go after Joy, but then he wouldn't be any better, and he had no idea where he was. He ran up beside Mariah. "So, where is Cain? He doesn't seem to be that open, he could be gone for all we know. Wait. Who am I to be cautious? Come on, let's go!"

***

Joy charged recklessly, but in the darkness, he was just smashed to the ground. "I will defeat you!" Livia shook her head. "Just join me." Joy growled. "Not interested."

Victoria and Paul then came up to the the floor that Mariah and Calder was on. They both had two laugage carts, but Paul was still carring 3 suitcases. "Man, do you ever pack light?" Victoria asked. "Not really, but come on you know how much I pack when we go on a tour, and how much I get on the way to our next destination." Paul said. 'Why dont you just anounce that you two are here and so fans will come and help you?' Lightning asked Victoria. "Good idea, Light. HEY EVERYONE, WE ARE VICTORIA AND PAUL AND WE ARE HERE ON THIS HOTEL FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Victoria screamed outloud.

(Well I got to make my characters meet up with you all, so that is why they are at the hotel on the same floor so they can meet Mariah and Calder. I kinda have no other way to meet up in this thing.)

(Well I got behind and then didn't know how to get back in. So I started to think about just making a story with my characters past and who they are and then come into the action at the right time, and now seems like the right time to get into the action.)

(Chuck is there too, just off in a corner)

(Oh, sorry. I had assumed that Chuck was in a separate room or something. I edited my post.)

“Cain said he's at a place called warehouse 59,” Mariah told Calder. “I'm betting it's a trap, so we'll have to be careful once we're there.”

She was surprised to hear a girl screaming at the top of her lungs, and as she rounded the corner, she almost instantly recognized the source of the voice, as well as the guy with her. “Hey, you're...Victoria and Paul!” she said.

Zack!” Tifa exclaimed. “Victoria is Inhabited, too, but by someone I don't know. Anyway, let's get them to join us.”

Mariah, forgetting their celebrity status, addressed them hurriedly. “Alright, so my Inhabitor, Tifa, tells me you guys are also Inhabited. We're heading over to warehouse 59, and it would be great for you to come with us. So will you help us fight? We need to go right now before Cain does anything bad to the governor.”

Okay, let's get going!” Jared said.

"The governor?!?" Paul and Victoria said as they dropped their suitcases. "Okay someone will be able to get those." Paul said as he called in a bellhop to come and get the bags to their rooms. 'Tifa! Man you surprised me. Wait how can we talk to each other?' Zack asked. Victoria knew that if a governor was about to be in trouble, then that would be bad for everyone. "Okay, lets get to that warehouse now." Victoria said.

Aria was around a corner and listen to everything that Victoria and Paul were saying. 'Okay, so your plan is to spy on them until the right moment, and then we confrot them?' Noel asked. 'Yes, that is what the plan is.' Aria told him. 'Yes good plan, only the fact is that Lightning is not my villian.' Noel said. 'Well now she is.' Aria told him.

Chuck followed them out of the hotel and to the girl who screamed. He recognized them as well, but didn't say anything.

James heard the screaming and looked out the window. He saw the group and said "Shit, they're here. Wait, this could be in my favor for getting rid of Sephiroth. He opened the window and stuck his head out to call after them.

Mariah saw James out of the corner of her eye, and looked up to his window to see him full on. “Oh no...” she said.

Wait, Mariah. Sephiroth's presence isn't very strong. Maybe James is winning against him,” Tifa said, amazed. “Still, it can't hurt to be cautious.”

Okay,” Mariah said, equally amazed. “James! Are you alright? What are you doing here?” she called up to him.
