After the overwhelming popularity of the idea, I'm starting this rp. Remember, this takes place in the modern time. So people won't be very happy if you draw your weapon in public. Be careful. Also, this was an important question, and I'll answer. You can talk to your Inhabiter whenever you want. And I have to have Sephiroth as my enemy. Sorry, Azure Flame xD

Joy sat in the cafe, drinking his coffee slowly. He couldn't believe all of it was real. Final Fantasy, everything. And why Cloud chose him was boyone his understanding. After all, in the games, he was the cool dude. Still, having the Buster Sword was pretty cool. He finished his coffee and walked out slowly. He put his hands in his pockets and tried to imitate Cloud's expression, but he burst out laughing, causing to people around him to look at him. Oh, if only they knew.

Livia looked at Mariah. She almost looked...liked she pitied his life. "So, this is the one you care for, eh?" Joy nodded. "I won't let you kill me. I have so much more to live for..." Livia nodded. "Well, then let's get this over with. I can not spare you, but the least I can do is make it fast, if you don't struggle." Joy shook his head. "I'm sick of losing; of being weak. I..won't lose this time. I have to take out Sephiroth and Jenova. You can end this, by stopping, Livia." Livia almost looked sad. "I'm sorry, Cloud, but I have to kill you." Joy pulled out his Buster Sword. "Come on then."

“Alright then,” Jared responded to August. “Hang on, it’s gonna get bumpy!”

Gabranth, huh? Mariah had never heard of that person, but she immediately knew that she wasn’t very fond of him. Behind her, she could hear Joy and the woman, whose name was apparently Livia, speaking to each other, but couldn’t listen very carefully, as she had to concentrate on the threat before her. She noticed that Scardigne was forming something like a tornado and jumped high into the air. She took hold of a beam in the ceiling and threw herself forward and down, landing behind him, and she swung her leg to kick him from behind.

*Edited Mariah's part so that Not-with-a-whimper could actually have something to work with* xD

Joy leaped towards Livia, his eyes watering at this situation. Livia smacked him down, and his head slammed into the ground. He groaned, and stood up, before swinging at her head. It slammed her, and Livia smashed into the wall. Livia then smashed him into the ground again, and Joy thought he was done for. He then heard a yell, and Livia smashed into the distance. He saw a boy above him, and the boy reached a hand down to him. "Name's Calder. Need any help?" JOy smiled, and grabbed his hand. Calder pulled him up. "Come on, it's two on one now."

Vincent flew around the Behemoth trying to get it away from the plane, but then for some reason the Behemoth stopped and completly changed its course. Vincent then flew back into the ship and said,"We need to hang a left. Sephiroth is no longer at the television station, its obvious that he is on his way to a new location...but why would he risk abandoning Jenova?"

"Caius...why destroy this world and not rule it?" Cain asked. "I can't believe you'd want to rule over a world of mindless, gutless pigs such as these...but...this Sephiroth will destroy this planet without a second thought....I think I'll meet with him," Caius answered.

“Right away, sir.” Jared was a little surprised when he heard Marcus speak. His voice sounded different than it had a few minutes ago.

“Vincent’s speaking through Marcus,” Sazh explained. “All part of the Inhabiting thing.”

“Well, don’t make me say anything really stupid when you possess me,” Jared replied.

Sazh gave a short laugh. “Grow up, kid,” he said lightly.

Jared addressed Marcus again, even though Vincent was speaking through him at the moment. “Hey, Mr. White, what’s that you were saying about launching ICBM’s at a meteor? Is there seriously something that massive headed our way?”

Marcus regained control and said," Yeah, it's getting closer every minute...I just hope the leaders of the world have a plan by now. Otherwise my idea is screwed, along with pretty much half of the world, and this side of the planet will be sent into a nuclear winter...there will be no warm days...according to modern scientists the temperature would get down to -130F as the minimum in the winter...and the summer would be about thirty at max. I dont know about you guys...but I don't want to see the world in that kind of shape. It's our duty to the future generations to stop this monster."

“Wow...that doesn't sound good,” Jared replied. He was now getting a sense of how very serious this all was, and Marcus's last words lingered in his mind: 'It's our duty to the future generations to stop this monster.'

Stop this monster. A realization struck Jared. “So...are you saying we're going to have to fight...Sephiroth?”

Don't be nervous—you'll be fine,” Sazh chimed in. “You know how to handle a gun, right?”

Of course I do, Jared thought back. It's part of my job. But it's not like I'm an expert—I only know the very basics. I'm a pilot, not a sniper.

And that's where I come in.” Sazh's tone had an edge of anticipation to it.

Though Marcus hadn't had a chance to respond to his first question, Jared asked another. “So do you have an idea of Sephiroth's location? As you know, this jet's pretty fast, and I don't want to accidentally overshoot. And what's the name of the guy Sephiroth's Inhabiting?”

Scardigne was slightly startled by Mariah's speed, and his legs were swept out from under him. His back struck the ground and with some effort he flipped himself upright. His blades dissected the air between them and reached eagerly for contact with her body, as if drawn by gravity. He had determined not to let himself become over confident, as that could easily lead to his downfall.

(Sorry guys, I forgot about this. What's happened?)

(After James left, Scardigne started fighting Mariah, and Joy and Calder, XV's Tidus character, are fighting Livia. Also, Marcus, August, and Jared are heading towards wherever James is.)

Mariah kept herself just barely out of reach of Scardigne's attacks, dodging each swing of his swords. But it didn't change the fact that each attempted blow was dangerously close—about a quarter centimeter away, as close as James's katana had been to her neck just minutes ago. It was as if the blades themselves craved her blood. One swing managed to slice off a strand of her hair. This guy didn't quite have the reflexes that James had, but the fact that, first of all, he had two swords instead of one, and second, Mariah was now fighting solo, made up for it. It was incredibly difficult for her to find an opening.

She decided to try something... She dropped to the floor and slid to Scardigne's right side, swinging her fist to punch him right below the ribs.

Chuck got up, having been knocked out by James as he left, and saw Mariah struggling with Scardigne. "I'm coming Mariah!" he said, running toward them, gunsword in hand. He jumped up, ready to stab Scardigne.

Scardigne turned on his heels quickly to dodge the sword strike, but in turn was struck by Mariah's punch, leaving him with more than just a glancing blow. He then connected the two blades together at the handles (I promise that it's canon). Leaping away from his attacker, he used his right hand to clutch to his side in pain while his left arm spun the dual bladed weapon, sending shock waves of energy racing towards the two of them. He knew he couldn't keep this up forever, but he at least had to try to take one of them down, or what was his purpose?

(did you miss my post?)

(I was typing mine when you posted and it didn't show up, but after I saw it I edited)

Chuck blocked the attack, getting pushed back by the force of it. Raising his hand, he sent a bolt of electricity at him. Then he ran over and went to slash at him with the gunblade.

As soon as Mariah's fist made contact with Scardigne's side, she got ready to kick him, but he jumped away before she could. She heard a voice behind her, and was relieved when she saw Chuck—both that he was alright and that he was coming to help her.

She looked when Scardigne formed a single, dual-bladed weapon from his two swords. She tried to jump out of the way of the energy shock waves he shot at her and Chuck, but one of them caught her in the forearm, making her right hand go numb. No! She tried to shake the numbness from her hand and charged at Scardigne again, running around him in an arc instead of approaching from the front. She reached to punch his face with her left fist.

"Okay so you sure this is going to boardcast to every device in the world?" Aria asked her manger. "Yes, Aria. This is going to work, trust me." the manger said.

"Okay, in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1." a guy said and then it was go time. Aria began to sing with her drummer being Noel.

The song was going out through every device in the world, with the special help of the government. Aria had been wanting to do something like this to prove that she was better than Victoria and Paul.

Joy swung at Livia, and missed, stumbling into a wall. He still wasn't used to carrying such a big sword. Luckily, now that Calder was helping him, Livia didn't smash his face in. Livia tried hitting Joy while ehw as weak, but Calder blocked with his sword. Joy then swung blindly, and caught Livia in the side. Livia stumbled a bit, before hitting Clader in the head. Calder went flying into a wall, but Joy couldn't worry about that. He swung again, and Livia dodged.

(OOC: Xeveemon, it was previously established that while an inhabiter can take on an astral projection outside of the body, aka a ghost like form, they can't take on actual physical forms.)

This time Scardigne took care to avoid Mariah's punch but was struck with thunder instead. He managed to block Chuck's sword strike and applied massive pressure on it to try to push Chuck back.

(OOC: Have to agree with Not-with-a-whimper here. If they could make a physical form, they wouldn't need a body to inhabit, would they? And no one can see the astral form except for you anyway. Also, the other thing Inhabitors do is take over the body of the person they Inhabit.)

(Oh, forgot to mention. Noel from FF is inhabit in Aria, but Noel Peterson is Aria's drummer. That akward moment when you forget to mention something important)

“Okay, different approach,” Mariah muttered when her fist missed its target. As Scardigne and Chuck’s blades clashed, she crouched down and swept her leg across the floor to knock Scardigne’s legs out from under him.

Chuck pushed back with his own strength., trying to push him away and distract him from Mariah's attack.

Scardigne noticed Mariah coming towards him, her reflection bouncing off of his blade. He kicked both feet up from the ground and let the force behind Chuck's attack launch him higher into the air. He was hoping that Mariah would run into Chuck, but created a mini tornado and sent it their way, just in case. The pain at his side was becoming slightly more bearable than it had been just moments before, though it still hurt. He took his hand off of the wound and prepared to use it once again in combat.

As Scardigne jumped into the air, Mariah realized that her leg was headed toward one of Chuck’s, and she would end up tripping him. However, she didn’t have time to stop herself, nor to notice the mini tornado heading in their direction.
