What is you theory for the unconventional ending for KH3D? My theory is that Sora gets left behind in the land of sleep, and only Riku makes it out. I know its unlikely, but hey it doesn't get any more unconventional. Unless maybe both Riku & Sora stay behind, while Xehanort & Vanitas leave the realm of sleep using Sora & Riku's bodies.

 

Anyways Im rambling, My theory is one of our two heroes doesn't wake up. What is your theory?

If they took this route, I would hope the story would show us sora's decent into darnkess. If he just randomly kills them at the end, I would be very disappointed. But, if Sora has to walk the line between good & evil, often struggling with what is right or wrong, then I wouldn't mind.

I think that sora will pass the mark of mastery exam and riku isnt back yet so sora goes back in. Then they both come out as keyblade masters and instead of going to fight xehanort they go to find aqua wake ventus and find terra.

The game has something to do with "trust." What will happen is this "trust" will be broken. The ending, will be completely unlike what you ever could've imagined, as it's unconventional. Trust, friends. That's what the ending will probably be about.

Sora and Riku will travel back in time and have to stop the father of Xehanort from meeting the mother of Xehanort. They arrive back at Destiny Islands in the present, but the seas are rough and Riku drowns. Just as Sora gets to the beach, Kairi runs up to him. He hugs her and she randomly dies in his arms. As he cries, Mickey falls from above in a ray of light and tries to get Sora to run. Sora stands with Kairi's body over his shoulder and the mouse and boy run along the beach. The forest on Destiny Islands begins to emit darkness and covers the keyblade wielders. Zoom out on the World map and all the worlds are seen being consumed by darkness. Then zoom in to see a crystallized Ansem the Wise on the the thrown it the ruined land of departure.

 

Shhh, the secret ending is Xehanort and Eraqus conspiring about how their evil plan worked and how the universe has now ended.

I wouldn't be surprised to see something happen to yen sid or mickey. Xehanort won't be stupid enough to let them all team up against him and he knows mickey is a keyblade master so he may try something against mickey or Isa he may do something to Isa and make him his new vessel

tutti frutti. One of my guesses on what an unexpected ending is that something goes wrong with the MoM, while Sora and Riku are in the trapped in the Realm of Sleep. This could keep them in a type of sleep/stasis/coma state and in turn they would need saving over them doing the saving. Without knowing that many Keyblade wielders outside of the ones revealed in the series so far, this could cause Yen Sid and Mickey to lose some sign of hope in defeating Xehanort.

I am sort of on the bandwagon of something happening to Sora. Like not turn evil bad, but something like passing out when he releases Ven's Heart.
