Plot: The Discord and Harmony fight a never ending war. Each god chooses warriors from various worlds and universes to represent them and fight a never ending battle. Chaos, the God of Discord, selects his fighters from the strongest of all; power and greed are his warriors’ most common traits. Yet the Goddess of Harmony, Cosmos, chooses only those of strong heart. Her warriors may have lost the most battles, but with enough dedication, they may yet prevail. This battle is an undocumented battle, where the winner is so far undetermined. The story picks up after each side has had their meeting, and the warriors, the pawns, all set out to fight for their deity… as if they had any choice.

 

For those who don’t know Dissidia, it’s a mixture of all the main Final Fantasy heroes and villains duking it out against one and other. In this RP, you can control any Final Fantasy OR Kingdom Hearts Character. Your character must be assigned a side, Cosmos (Good) or Chaos (Evil). The gods wipe the memories of their warriors when they lose, but since it is unsure who won the last war, feel free to play with your character’s memory (such as if I were using Fang from FFXIII, she could be bad and only remember her hatred of Pulse, while if I were Kairi from KH, I could have her remember everything).

 

Be creative with your characters; inter-universe cooperation is greatly encouraged. If you see Aqua traveling alone and have always dreamed of Zidane hitting on her, go for it! Also feel free to have villains interact with each other… Who doesn’t think that a Vanitas and Sephiroth alliance would be great? Likewise, if Kefka feels compelled to attack Mickey, then why not?

 

To prove you’ve been reading the whole thing, post a little message to me between ** (e.g. *Great idea* or *Nice Haircut!*).

 

Oh, and there’s one catch… YOU CAN KILL EACH OTHER… But under only 1 specific circumstance.

At the end of every page, starting after #3, THE PERSON WITH A POST ON THE TOP OF THE NEXT PAGE WILL HAVE THEIR CHARACTER DEFEATED BY THE NEXT POST. So if (making up usernames here) Soralover4 controls Rikku and he posts on Page #3, and then Larxenelols (who controls Larxene) posts and winds up on Page #4, Soralover4’s next post will kill Larxene. Or I could post before her and have my Tonberry stab Larxene in the back.

 

Just like in a real war, there is no telling when anybody is going to die, so it’ll keep everyone on their toes. And if you control a warrior of Cosmos (say… Tidus) and another warrior of Cosmos was supposed to die (say… Namine), then make it an accident or a trap (have Namine walk into a mine or have Tidus miss with an attack and hit her.) And if they’re enemies, make it fun (who hasn’t had a dream of Sephiroth killing Minnie Mouse?)!

 

Here are the ground rules:

1. No controlling anyone else’s characters (unless given permission). If it’s your turn to kill Xion, don’t make her sing a song and jump off a cliff if she’s not your character. Just stab her, or drop something on her.

2. No God-Modding. That means that Chaos and Cosmos cannot be killed. And your character cannot just own everyone else on the battlefield (unless it’s Hope Estheim )

3. Don’t kill out of turn! Only one post kills per page (after Pg #3)!

4. No profanities. Sorry, I just don’t do that.

5. Keep it rated T. Zidane can hit on Aqua, but the two of them can’t book a hotel room together.

 

Rules about characters:

• If you die, stay dead. You can have a last line, but that’s about it.
• When you die, feel free to make another character.
• Keep the teams balanced. I don’t want the whole Organization XIII running around killing all the moogles. Anyway, the more warriors on each side, the more likely that side is to die…
• You can control up to two characters. Refer to Rule #3 when choosing. Hypothetically, I could choose Caius Ballad and Goofy, while Soralover4 could choose Sora and Axel.
• To sign up, post a bio or two.
• If you die and want to make another character, just post a quick bio.
• Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Characters only. I don’t want Orlando Bloom, Lord Voldemort, or Willy Wonka running around… not everybody knows them!

The most important rule is to have fun! If you have any questions, post them. Oh, and I've already dibbed Caius. The RP will start after we have some people on both sides. I'll update the second post with Alliances and Casualties throughout.

As Gilgamesh walked across World B, he came across a boy with black hair, frozen in place.

"L'cie?" he thought as he walked up. "No, not possible. If he's an l'cie, then why isn't he in crystal stasis?"

Gilgamesh tapped the boy to see if it would unfreeze him.

Terra turned to the boy with silver hair, "My name is Terra. I'm a Keyblade Master in training." Something about the boy was familiar. But it wasn't Ven.

"Does the name Ven mean anything to you?" he asked.

~Noel~

The crystal faded from Noel's body.

"Ahh," he sighed as he reanimated. He looked around and saw Gilgamesh.

"Thank you very much," he said, holding out his hand in gratitude. "I don't know what side you fight for, but I'm grateful."

 

~Caius~

Caius landed on the ground and turned his back.

"He can't have survived that, he was too frail," he said.

Gilgamesh looked at the boy, "You tell me first. Who's side are you on?"

Sephiroth was walking down a strange world when he heard voices.Sephiroth looked and saw Gilgamesh talking to a Cosmos warrior.

 

"Hmph, joining them already" Sephiroth said to Gilgamesh

“Ven? Sorry, I can’t say I’ve ever heard that name,” Riku replied, shaking his head. “So are you allied with Chosmos? Who was that red-haired coward you were fighting?”

Auron picked himself off the ground from where he had been thrown by the blast created by Ultima.

"Wrong." he said.

Auron moved his right arm, knocking part of his coat off his left shoulder. Grabbing his katana with both hands, he charged forward and slashed at Caius. The two warrior's blades knocked against each other. The force caused Caius to stumble back.

"I might not exist, but I'm strong enough to finish this fight."

Auron tightened his grip on his katana as he swiped at Caius, intending to break up the Chaos warror's defense.

( if Chronomagister doesn't ever reply as Roxas, can I take over Roxas?)

OOC: I can't recall how many you control, but if you have 1, then go for it after the next death. If you have two, wait for one to die and then you can claim him.

 

~Caius~

 

Caius disappeared in a burst of purple flames. His voice resounded around the area.

"You are a guardian, aren't you. But all alone, with memories fading, who can you hope to protect?"

Then with a cloud of darkness, the Chaos Bahamut (Caius) formed. The dragon roared at Auron, shooting a small Megaflare orb at him.

 

~Noel~

"Joining?" Noel said, but before he could fully comprehend, he heard Caius' voice in the distance.

"Caius?" Noel wondered, and ignored the two Chaos warriors and ran off to pursue the voice.

Gilgamesh became frustrated, "Get back here and fight me!" He began to run after Noel.

"I'm allied with Cosmos," Terra replied to the boy. "And that man called himself Axel. I've never met him. What about you? Whose side are you on?"

~Noel~

 

Noel spun around.

"I don't have the time for it!" he shouted, and launched a Ruinga that exploded at Gilgamesh's feet as he tried to keep running.

Gilgamesh fell on his face after the pesky kid threw some sort of magic bomb at him.

"Gyhah!" he said as he got off the ground. "I'll get you kid! Get back here!"

With that, he resumed the chase.

~Noel~

 

Noel spun around.

"If you're going to be a pest, then I guess I'll have to beat you, friend or foe!" Noel shouted.

Noel drew his blades and charged Gilgamesh.

Auron dodged to the side. He'd need aid to take Caius in this form. A distraction was needed. Auron jabbed his sword into the ground, and reached for a smoke mote and threw it at the dragon Caius had become. The mote crashed and smoked billowed out. Auron ripped his sword from the ground, hefting it to his shoulder.

~Caius~

 

Caius roared and spiraled high into the air, dropping air mines as he went. They crashed next to Auron.

Auron dodged the mines. One got close and sent him sprawling. The guardian, trusting in his new form, ran up a hill. Closer to Caius's altitude, Auron coiled his legs and jumped stright up in the sky.

"You place too much trust in your Magics!" He yelled.

He called upon his training and used his Magic Break attack on the dragon.

~Caius~

 

The dragon illusion broke with a puff of black smoke. Caius fell to the ground, Ragnarok next to him.

"Impressive," he snarled, and he grabbed his giant sword. "Now, embrace the darkness!"

Caius' sword glowed black and purple and he smashed it into Auron's blade.

Auron landed hard, but didn't seem to notice. He blocked Caius's attack, gritting his teeth.

"You serve a master who wishes to destroy all." He said.

He shoved Caius off his sword and followed up with a board slash.

"You are working towards the end of everything. Where's the sense in that?"

Caius parried.

"Ending you will bring the goddess one step closer to death. And when she dies, so too will the god! A world without gods!"

Caius now was glowing with purple flames and darkness, and with a rush foward, unleashed a blast into the air, calling down a giant Meteor, and it headed straight at Auron.

Gilgamesh raised his blade to collide with Noel's attack.

Gilgamesh let out a hearty laugh, "Ha! It's been too long since the last fight I've had!" Gil then slashed Noel away and hit the ground with his massive blade, unleashing a beam of energy.

Riku looked down in shame. “I...I was allied with Chaos. But then I realized that I was hurting people--people who were special to me.” He looked back up again. “I can’t do that anymore. But...there’s somebody who I think still has a hold of my heart...Ansem. He said he’d make me more powerful, we’d be a team. I should’ve known he would only use me as a host to wreak havoc on everyone. I want to rid myself of him forever!”

 

(Ahaha dang it Riku's dead. x'D

"So......Ansem killed Xion......" Axel tightened his fist. "Ansem, or should I say.....Riku, killed her.......Xion" Axel looked up, a sly smile grew on his face to hide his sadness. "Guess I have some work to do, but, I need to know if Roxas is here also"

 

I say this gal should get dibs, but of course it's first-come-first-serve. )

Axel appeared behind Riku. "Well, if ou want to rid of him, i guess i can help you." Axel stabbed Riku through the chest. "This aint the first time i had to kill someone. Besides, you killed a friend of mine.....does the name Xion mean anyything." Axel brought out his chakrams, Riku collapsed on the ground. (i am sooooooooo sorry)

OOC: I was ninja'd. Well, here' what I was writing. Consider it a "what if?" A non-canon ending.

 

Riku shouted as the darkness took a hold of him. He heard Chaos' voice.

"You dare resist me? I shall show you the true power of darkness!"

Riku shouted even more as the darkness raged from his body. He convulsed flailed in the air.

Suddenly a light burst from nowhere and covered Riku's body.

"Chaos, a warrior with a body of darkness but seeks the light is my kind of warrior. Back off!"

With a shriek, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, was expelled from Riku's body and began dissolving into the air.

Riku had been converted to a warrior of Cosmos.

Axel looked down on Riku's dissolving bod. "I never wanted this to happen, you just got in the way, i hope if you have a next life, you'll forgive me." (Riku needs a nobody in th series, he did go into the darkness after all). Axel turned away from Riku, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. Just like Vexen.

OOC: I was ninja'd. Well, here' what I was writing. Consider it a "what if?" A non-canon ending.

 

OOC: That's a really cool idea. If you want to use it and take control of Riku from now on, I give you full permission. I've been having a little trouble keeping up with this RP anyway, TBH (I'm still pretty inexperienced and I'm currently in another RP as well). Otherwise, if you don't want to take him over, I'll just make a post about him dying.

OOC: Okay guys, Always will be leaving us now, so now that her two characters have bit the dust we can move onwards. Any incoming people, remember, you can have TWO characters, and please consider making them side with Chaos; it's becoming a bit unbalaned. Make it fun; don't be afraid to put someone like Vincent, Snow, or even Minnie on Chaos' side.
