The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

Lightning put her hand on her hip as she slightly leaned to the side. "the only weakness for that thing is the crystal that's powering it, it's the size of a softball but it brimms with immense power.(thanks for the support for the game. Me and the cast will appreciate it.) We need to get it and the laser would be completely powerless. the crystal itself has been obtained from our universe and it's extremely important to us if we get it back. So be lucky since we have a win-win situation if you guys succeed." she said, she then looked at me. "you take your friends to the keyblade graveyard...I'll rendezvous with you. If anyone asks I was never here. Got it?" she have me a piercing death glare. "y-yeah. No sweat." I said she nodded and left. "....." I was only a bit more curious and it only lead to more questions but we have to take down The General. No matter What. "well then...I suppose we should just waltz into a high security millitary testing area?" I mused, it's been awhile since I joked around for a bit.

(niex's pov)

 

He finished his speech, vaden just sat there looking at the sunset. "you think that we are doing the right thing? Messing around the way things were suppose to be in this universe?" vaden said, inquiries like those would always trouble me. "this is actually the last resort. We must intervene if we could get the crystal....besides I made a promise to Ethan and alessa. I intend to keep it." I said solemnly. Vaden flicked his cigarette away into the ground. "well as long as we get this done...who know what the long term effects are." he said. "Vaden is right...we are only to intervene as soon as we get that crystal." I saw lightning she was walking right towards us. "you talked to that leslie and those versions of her friends?" I asked, she nodded. "we rendezvous there at the keyblade graveyard." she said as she crossed her arms. "someone looks relived..." vaden smiled, lightning just turned her back to him. "all it is for me is getting one step closer to find serah and fulfill my promise to niex." she said. '...she always thinks she owes be but in fact I'm in debt to her.

Joe looked at Lightning for a moment as he did his head began to pound and he fell to his knees holding his head voices then began to ring in his head "The Chaos Gene" "i once fought a man named Caius who possessed the heart of Chaos" "3173 that girl can not be let live shes a danger to time and space if she was to survive all universes would crumble if her power was to be released with her not in control" "Lightning" "i held him back as long as i could defeat him and you can change the past reveal the true time line" "Ha you cant defeat me you three compared to me your power is nothing" "i'll make you pay for what youve done you demon" "impossible ive been defeated no i wont die like this i'll curse you for this girl or should i call you 3173" the voices then began to stop Joes eyes narrowed "what what was all that those voices those faces who were those people "Radiant Garden Destiny Island and some strange castle i saw all those places but what does this mean"

thats kind of the point its all random voices inside Joes head he doesnt even know whos talking it all just happened when he saw lightning i'll explain as the story goes on though dont worry

Alex shrugged. "Well, as long as it gets things rolling, there's no arguments from me. Let's go grab us a crystal-thing." Alex then turned to look at Leslie. "Hey Yane, got a minute?" Leslie approached him. Alex then breathed deeply. "Why didn't you tell Marina and I where you were going in person so we could all do this together? Storming a government warehouse on your own... if Maloran, Marina, and I hadn't arrived when we did, you could have died."

Marina looked up and scratched her cheek slightly. "Well,we'll have to find a way to get in either by avoiding security in some way,or trying to come up with an ingenious plan so we could walk around unexpectedly. It'd be easier if we had blueprints of the place or something,but sadly we'll have to do."Marina says as she walked around slightly and then turned to the rest. "I say that as soon as we get there we explore the perimater around. If we can find an entrance of some sort around,like a sewer or a big vent,it would be a practicall to inflitrate."Marina says as she casually gave a spin and suddenly stopped,standing still and with her arms crossed.

nearly as soon as the voices in Joes head had stopped they started again but this time much worse as the voices echoed and roared through Joes head a strange sword began to form in his hand Joe looked at it and his eyes narrowed "what what is this whats going on" Joe then saw as the sword began to take form and merge with his arm more voices then began to echo in Joes head "Anger Rage Hate there all you need to be strong give into the emotions of darkness become stronger then anyone else and win this war for yourself" Joes eyes narrowed as he held his head with his free hand "no what is this" Joe then looked at the sword as it began to fuss with his right arm (the sword looks like this http://fc09.deviantart.net/images/i/2003/42/4/a/evil_sword.jpg) Joes eyes then began to glow red "hate anger rage despair give into the emotions of evil be like him be like your father" Joes eyes then came into focus as he slowly stud up with his head down he then slowly and limply walked towards Marina Alex and Lightning Joe then raised his head as he reached them his eyes now a blood red Joe then pulled back his arm and readied to attack the three but as he did Lightning saw his attack coming and just managed to block but even after lightnings block the wall behind lightning began to crack as a huge slash appeared on it everyone just looked at Joe unshore as to what was going on as he began to attack them

(Leslie's pov)

 

 

 

I bit my lip as I felt ashamed. "...becuase I blame myself for everything that has happened for the past 10 years...back there I soley acted upon my own selfishness, an what happeneds next? You guys get captured torchured for ten years. All becuase I was upset at that fact that he moved on with her...and my daughter was going to grow up without knowing me. Plus I could have done more...some "hero" I am..." I felt the sting of guilt and disgust churn my stomach. They suffered becuase of me...I then looked at joe, there was something off about him

 

 

 

(alessa's pov)

 

 

 

There was a surge of morale within everyone. Soldiers laughed and had a good time and the scientists were socializing among themselves as as The General's speech ended. People on the TV were filled with joy as they paraded among the streets and paying tribute to Sora, our beloved god and savior. "whoa! This is some party we crashed!" Abrax said as him and erebos landed and transformed their riders back into keyblades. I looked at their uniform, they were ripped, and with large stains of blood. "speaking of crashing it looks like you two rammed into a freight train." hakumei said, Abrax and erebos grinned. "we were a bit late becuase we got into a bit of a scuffle." erebos said, Abrax puffed ou his chest. "oh please! If I was alone with that little-" "oh here we go again!" erebos cutoff Abrax as he rolled his eyes. "what it's true! I could have take him on! You wanna go?!" Abrax put up his fists up, erebos rolled his eyes. "you two need to be more careful next time, ok?" I said, I would always worry about those two when the go out into recon. "we will, alessa." erebos said. Loud whirring of gears thundered in my ears, we all looked to the west where it came from. The lazer looked so mighty as it had a red crystal shine at the heart of it. "WARNING CLEAR THE AREA...OPERATING SYSTEM CHECK REQUIRED." we jogged away from the large storage units that obviously had something alive inside and the laser itself. Scientists continued to fiddle around with it, I looked around we were on a hill and on the otherwise of it was a bunch of keyblades stabbed to the ground, I could even see where it became a crossroad. 'i bet she will be here...that rat with her rat friends back at sector 7G...'

Joe then looked at the group his eyes now a blood red and the sword in his right hand fussing with him more every second Yanley then looked at Joe thinking something was off just then Joe lauched an attack yanley just managing to Block it but even after blocking the attack the wall behind Yanley split apart by the force of Joes attack voices echoed in Joes head "kill them" "hatred rage despair there all you need they will make you stronger" "your friend will die you can not change her fate" "3173" "Oathkeeper" "Chaos" "the fabric of time and space is ripping apart" all the voices rang inside of Joes head endlessly as he knocked back Yanley then standing over her ready to kill

As Joe's blade came down, a beam of light appeared and blocked his strike. It faded to reveal the Hero's Crest, with Alex holding it in a firm grip behind it. Alex managed to push Joe back a little bit, before Joe lunged at him again. Alex sidestepped the lunge and began a lightning fast series of strikes, all of which Joe managed to block. They parried each other, and Alex spun his Keyblade into a reverse grip as he and Joe clashed blades again. Sparks shot out of the blades grinding together. Alex glared at Joe. He didn't know who he was, but Alex was already fairly sure that he didn't like the guy. "Back off, bud..." The two then pushed each other back once again.

"Aw man.."Marina says as she saw Joe and Alex clashing blades and trading blows.. Marina rubbed the back of her neck for a sec and looked back at Leslie. She walked over to him and she got a hand on her shoulder. "Leslie,cheer up and looked up."Marina says smiling. She saw Leslie look up a bit. "What happened happened,past is past,present is now,and the future is unknown. No need to be regreting the pastnow that we have a future to discover. Now turn that frown upside down! We're alive still and here,right?As long as that is happening,you shouldn't be glumpy of the past."Marina says,smiling,as if nothing had ever happen,as if the world wasn't there and there were no worries around her.

I looked at marina, she had was right...but I couldn't focus on that since joe tried to attack me and now he's going at it with Alex. "joe calm down! STOP!" I put myself between them as I blocked joes hit. There was something in his eyes that was quite different they were blood red and it looked like he lusted for carnage...what was happening? He wasn't like that at all...he looks like a totally different person.

 

[-meanwhile at the resistance base-]

 

Kibo and shinjin were showing the generals speech to everyone in the resistance. Kibo paused the recording once it ended. "now we haven't recover word yet from leslie, alex, marina or meloran. The location of the laser is still currently unkno-" "it's in the keyblade graveyard." someone cutoff shinjin, it was a young woman around 20 , she had blonde hair and red eyes. She leaned against the wall. She wore a white and silver uniform with they symbol of an hourglass embroidered on it. "excuse me?" shinjin said. "leslie and the others are ok just that they are going through a little trouble righ now but they can handle that." the young woman said. "who are you? I never seen you here before." Kibo said, shinjin nodded in agreement.

 

 

"I've been here for three days and you failed to notice me? If I wasnt on your side you all would have been dead now but anyways my name is nuri. My associates sent me here to help you guys out when the time was right, and that time is now." nuri said, everyone in the resistance summoned their keyblades. "associates?" Kibo and shinjin said in unison suspiciously. "relax I'm on your side. I am apart of the brotherhood and we are going to assist you. My associates tell me we should rendezvous with them at the keyblade graveyard. Rest assured leslie and the others will be there too." nuri said, everyone put their keyblades away starting with Kibo and shinjin. "I suppose we don't have a reason not to trust you, but we are all watching you." Kibo and shinjin said again in unison. "I know I know...I don't have anything to hide." nuri said. "but anyways all of you should prepare, security is at the highest level possible there and you'll speak to my superiors as they get here." nuri said, Kibo and shinjin continue to look at nuri with suspicion. "nuri you called?" a deep smooth voice said, everyone in the room turned around from where the voice came from. Niex, vaden, and lightning were standing in the otherside of the room, nuri smiled.

Joe looked at Yanley the look on his face then becoming much darker as he then jumped onto his hands doing a spinning kick and blasting back Yanley the sword in Joes right arm then spread up as far as his elbow voices began to roar inside Joes head as his power became stronger as the sword fussed with him more "what would happen if someone was to be effected by universes converting" "there mind would become corrupted even the most powerful person in existance would turn against his best friend and kill him with out a second thought" "so then in other words someone who begins acting like that" "there the sign saying that something bad is beginning to unfold yes" "how would you stop them" "would depend on the person for example if one was merging with a weapon i believe you would need to destroy the the main part of that weapon with out damaging then person linked with it at the same time" "so in other words smash the weapon but leave its user unharmed and they would return to there old self" "correct" "what if you damaged the user along with the weapon" "the weapon would continue to fuss with the user until the person who was once there is gone and only a being of pure darkness remained" the voices then stopped and Joe then ran at Alex clashing with him as he did large sparks came from there two weapons as they clashed the redness in one of Joes eyes then began to lessen as a small spark of light formed in one of his hands Joe spoke "come on come on Oathkeeper come out your my only light left come out help me"

Alex saw Joe's glowing red eyes and the blade attached to his arm growing in size and spreading. As their weapons were locked together, Joe started to overpower Alex, who fell to one knee while keeping their blades clashed together. Alex's specialty is in speed, not strength, so overly long clashes will usually not end in his favour. Alex looked at Joe to see a small bit of light emerge from his other hand, and the redness in his eyes slightly fade. He's not himself! But wherever he is in there, he's fighting back. Alrighty, got to make sure I don't do anything to hurt him. Alex smirked. "Looks like you could use a little bit of light in you, buddy!" Alex managed to summon all of his strength to push Joe back, and he aimed his Keyblade at the blade attached to his body, and shot a beam of light at it.

as Alex fired the beam of light at joe it hit a small crystal in the middle of the sword as it did Oathkeeper instantly appeared in Joes left hand and the crystal in the blade fussing with Joe shattered Joe then looked at his right arm as the sword began to defuss but was resisting its own destruction at the same time Joe glared at the sword "dam it this is my body and i say let go now!" Joe then stabbed the lower side of his right arm with his Oathkeeper and the sword attached to his right arm shattered joe then fell to his knees "son of a what was that" Joe then collapsed to the floor completely drained of energy Joe then looked up to Alex as his eyes returned to there normal colour "thanks you saved my life"

Alex fell down to a knee as well, breathing heavily. He hadn't been in a one-on-one duel in about 10 years, so he wasn't used to fighting like that. "Don't mention it... just try and keep... whatever the heck that was under control from now on, if at all possible." Alex pushed himself up off the ground, and walked over to Leslie and Marina, offering his hand to Leslie as she grabbed it, and he helped pull her up from where she was on the ground after Joe's attack. He looked down and sighed.

 

"Yane, you've got nothing to feel sorry about. You had your own problems, so you should have been able to lead your own life without having to be constantly fighting with us. Everything that happened... it's on me. I was the one who was overconfident and cocky, I was the one who tried to fight against more than I can handle... Marina, if I had stuck with you then, maybe you wouldn't have been captured and tortured for all these years, and maybe Jacobs and Quentin wouldn't be..." Alex shook his head. "Anyway, you have nothing to apoligize for, Yane, but you have to count on us to be there for you from now on. We can't afford to split apart now."

Marina stared and smiled. "(Its good to see Alex still has what it takes.)"Marina thinks smiling. She then thought of the event of years back. She looked down slightly and then back up. "Then I am to take part of the blame as well. I should of snapped out of it and fought back,I should of been stronger and quicker,swifter,to find my way out of the mess,and maybe they would of still be alive,maybe even Quentin alone. But either way. The past is past,all that we've suffered will be rewarded in the end,all we can do now is take all of the lessons we learned through out pain and move foward."Marina says. She then turned to Joe and pointed at him. "Be careful of what you do or happens. Especially after that preformance."Marina says.

Joe then forced himself to stand holding his right arm and walking over to the group "so what i heard from those foot soldiers earlier was true you are all part of the resistance guess those other rumors of the resistance being completely dead was a lie after good thing to your group has always been needed for helping to try and restore peace" Joe then held his head for a second as he formed a sphere of darkness in his hand and then fired it in the other direction "get out!" he yelled at the darkness as it blasted through a nearby wall as it did a figure then began to emerge from hole that had just been made Joe looked at it "so looks like what just happened to me wasnt all bad after all thanks to that little out of control spell i was finally able to remove that from inside my heart so this is the true form of the demon that ass hole im suppose to call my father put in me" Joe then looked at Marina "rightfully speaking i had no control over my body when i attacked you all and i apologize for that now all of you get out of here so the resistance can keep on fighting while i take care of this thing" Joe then summoned his Oathkeeper in his Left hand the dark figure looked at Joe "So even after all the darkness your daddy put into you you can still use a keyblade like that one one that consists of high light levels" Joe glared at the dark demon "shove it"

Both of Alex's eyebrows were raised. His entire knowledge of who this guy was is based soley on the fact that he just tried to kill them. Their relationship wasn't exactly at an all time high, and accompanied by what Joe told them, he didn't exactly seem like the most stabilizing member of the team. But if he was willing to fight alongside them, Alex wouldn't be the one to say no. "Just be sure to let one of us know if you're about to have a small insanity attack again in the future." Alex clapped his hands together. "Alrighty, so what's next on the to-do list?"

Joe looked at Alex for a minute "a give me a few seconds here would ya and for the record thats the first time thats ever happened im normally highly focused at what ever task i have at hand now" Joe then turned to the dark creature which he had just separated from his body "im impressed Joe not many people have hearts who can grow accustom to the darkness like yours managed to i only ever remember one who could Riku" Joe glared at the dark figure "leave my master out of this" Joe then lauched towards the dark figure as he did a dark kingdom key appeared in his hand Joe stared the keyblade for a moment until the two clashed large sparks came from there weapons as they collided Joe glared "who are you and how do you have the kingdom key only one other none person has ever had it and i thought he was dead because of the resistance" the dark figure then smirked "your figuring alot out just by seeing this keyblade" the figure then blasted Joe back with a large blast of darkness Joe rolled across the ground until he forced his keyblade into the ground to stop him "the boy who can use oathkeeper just like one other boy from the past i'm shore we'll meet again Joe" the dark figure then vanished Joe glared "dam it what or who was he"

I looked at the demon...then it looked at me and smiled, it sent shivers down my spine. 'he would have helped us tremendously if he went with us but...' "joe...take care what you need to take care of here...we'll see you

At the keyblade graveyard...don't get yourself killed now." he nodded, I know to some people it seems out of the question to leave him there like that but I have confidence that he has the strength to fight his own demons inside. "so what's next on our to do list?" Alex said as he clapped his hands together. "it's about time we rendezvous with lightning at the keyblade graveyard. No doubt that they are gonna fire that laser soon." I said. I looked at my comrads...we've been through so much but all that fighting was worthwhile for a brighter future. The night sky never had been so calm as a cool gentle breeze blew. "whatever it takes we will destroy the laser and the general and rip the government up piece by piece. If we end up dying lets make sure we leave with a bang." I smiled.

Everyone in the resistance prepped up as they had everyone get ready, lightning and niex discussed battle formations of land and air-an all out attack. I just in the corner just leaning against the wall. "my...don't ya look nervous?" It was alistair...I read about him in the file I was provided for this mission...he was an important figure before sora established his empire as a world senator for twilight town I believe, afterwards he was a pimp and build his operations with his money to help fund the resistance. Now he is pretending to be the main S-1 to infiltrate the government by viewing any paperwork that circulates within the government wheather it be laws or classified information. "nice costume, 'S-1'." I said. "I'm not surprised that you know me...I spoke with niex before you started your mission here. You and your organization have been a great help, plus it helped me establish my alibi for my current undercover work." alistair said, he wore a standard uniform for a high ranking officer. "...and thank you for helping us find the crystal and for the schematics of all of their facilities to gather more intel." I said, alistair playfully gestured with his hands. "the honor is all yours." he slightly bowed. Then I saw a bunch of large forklifts zip past us as they carried a bunch of cargo. "don't worry about potions and whatnot I got it all covered." he said, he patted me on the head and walked away to greet niex. Some of this reminds me of what happened a long time ago...way after our leslie mysteriously disappeared after Quentin's death...I remember what alessa and Ethan felt after I told them the news...and then HE came back...." I shook my head, I didn't want to think of my old classmate, lover, and my enemy.

(alessa's pov)

 

 

 

 

 

I felt an urge of excitement as everyone stood at attention and saluted as The General himself came. He passed by us, he then was greeted by a group of scientists in the complex by the laser. We were all ordered to be dismissed. "wow...the general...he knew sora." Abrax said in awe...we were were...he's the immaculate to take over after sora. Then a runner came he was just a corporal. He only came to me, and hakumei. "you are needed at the complex. Double time it!" he said.

 

 

 

 

 

(The generals pov)

 

 

 

 

 

I realized I almost have everything ready but there's still two links I'm missing...I looked at alessa and hakumei's files. They came into the room as the saluted and stood at attention. "at ease to both of you." I said, they robotically relaxed, they were nervous of my presence. "you two were involved at the incident of sector 7G weren't you not?" I asked. "yes." they said at the same time. "those slaves that escaped are terrorists that deserved a more tragic fate than death. They will be here with their terrorist friends and they will try to stop our destiny of expanding sora's holy kingdom!" I spoke with strength. I saw hatred in their eyes. "alessa...you fought one of them didn't you? The one with long black hair...she killed both your mother and father, oh how they may rest in peace. They were the best soldiers I have ever seen and they personally served along side sora." I said. "my...mother and father?" her voice trembled, I can sense her hate growing. I then went to hakumei, "do you remember when you both were very little? I would both closely observe you four. Clearly your skills in inderdependace are remarkable so I'm promoting the four of you to master sargents." I saw a glimmer of joy in their eyes. "as your first assignment for all of you four will be leading the battalion to kill the slaves and their little "resistance group."

 

 

I said, they saluted. "YES SIR!" "you are both dismissed." the girls left with their ranks that Balthazar provided them. I sat down at my desk which made of pure white marble. I put up my feet, Balthazar served me tea. "I now don't have to worry about Alex marina or even leslie...they've been a thorn at our side long enough! If I have to end up killing them myself so be it." I said. I opened the drawer to the left side of my desk as I injected myself with more of the serum.

Marina stared and rubbed her head slightly. "Very well. To the Keyblade Graveyard it is!"Marina says. She thought for a while and looked at Joe. "Make sure you get to the Keyblade Graveyard safely and with nothing out of place,ok?We don't want to have to knock you out for that dark energy or entidy you have in there."Marina says. She smiled and tapped her shoulder pad and armour quickly covered her. "Aw man I missed this feeling."Marina says as she reffered to the feeling of having armour covering your body all over. Marina then threw her keyblade and quickly made her runner. She hopped on it and looked up as a portal appeared. She turned to Leslie and Alex. "Lets go."Marina says.

We all summoned our riders and flew through infinite space to the dead, dry world. We were at the area where it was all rocky and mountainous. It was a good place to be at since over the otherside of the massive mountains was a huge complex, some storages with something clearly in it becuase whatever is inside it was hanging from the inside very violently, I see cameras and the laser. Soldiers were testing the cameras and had it focused on the podium and laser. No doubt that they are gonna televise this all over the worlds. "they think that they are leading the destiny of the universe." lightning walked towards us as behind her everyone in the reisistance came all prepared as they rode low maneuvering around the mountains. "where's joe?" lightning asked. "he'll be here soon. He has his own demons to take care of." I said. "hopefully he'll get here soon...I'm going to send my colleague to him. No worries." she said.

I came to where I found joe. I didn't bother to say anything. I was just observing the new member of the resistance. It's a terrible thing that he has darkness in his heart....but hopefully he's strong enough to fight it. I closely watched his fighting style and his abilities.

soon after the dark figure had vanished Joe looked at were it had once been standing "that demon of darkness it couldnt of been him could it but then again he had kingdom key and it was his own keyblade and the way he spoke about my Oathkeeper and master Riku something about all this just seems a little off and then those voices from earlier when i lost control what were they saying the number 3173 got mentioned a few times and then something about something called Chaos and someone called Ciaus i dont understand any of it dam it why does all this have to be so dam hard" Joe then saw the person nearby watching him Joe turned away from him "you need something"

"my name is nuri...I am here to make sure you join back with the others in the keyblade graveyard. I am a liaison for the resistance and I am from the brotherhood." I said. It's important we get this version of joe to his friends. I think he may have some connection with lightning but a file from this universe only go so far. "if you have any questions please ask me. While we are there we have to ride through the mountain ranges very low." I said. This version of joe is very different from ours, he has to deal with his own darkness. I doubt they have the same personality though. Almost Every version of themselves in a different dimension In a universe isn't quite the same. Theres always different variables affecting their environment, personality, and their life. "...but do you mind telling me what was that demon you were fighting?" I asked becuase not that many people are strong enough to fight their own darkness like that.

All I could focus on the last hour is how much more I hate her...I will never forget her face. Me and Abrax were sparring, I would defeat him every time as I would aggressively cut him but his injuries would quickly heal. "whoa! Someone is fired up." he said, hakumei and erebos looked at me with concern. "guys just be happy that we all were ranked up." I said, my whole body was tense and rigid. "I'm sorry what happened to your parents...but don't worry we'll find her and you'll kill her." hakumei said, I just looked at her. "you have no idea how much I want her and her friends to DIE."
