The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

Allright fellow RPers. Begin the RP!

"Got it, I'll go see if I can round up some extra fire power, it should help get us in." said Maloran. Maloran then left the room and started searching for something that could help, with little luck so far. 'Well, if I'm not able to find anything to help us out, we'll still have the element of surprise, hopefully.' thought Maloran.

(nuri's pov)

 

I looked around the camp for marina, until I found her. There was a whiteboard filled with equations, diagrams, and a whole bunch of formulas. She had lambda in her Arms while she was sleeping. "hey, we received a report of our recon team on the twilight town base. We have to destroy three large electrical generators and three frequency towers. The frequency coming from the base cannot let us in because it would severely weaken us and cause brain damage." I said, I gave marina a copy of the report. 'i wonder if they are protecting something else...' it was just a hunch I had...something felt...off.

 

(lightning's pov)

 

We immediately arrived at the world called gaia. Everyone adjusted to their sense of surroundings for a bit. "this world reminds me of the archetype stepp..." vanielle said. She was riot about that. We were on a grassy field that stretched beyond the imagination. Yet it brought me a bittersweet memory with serah. "why can't you stop fighting? What are you looking for?" "....I guess I want something more...but I don't know of exactly what..." "hello? Earth to lightning." snow made me snap out from my inner thoughts. "...he was last seen in a place called the Midgar...we should be able to get there soon." I said. "I can't believe caius is alive...yet the whole knowledge of the brotherhood existing is a real eye opener." fang said. 'you should have seen my reaction...I killed some of their guards and trying to figure out where I was...'

 

(general highwind's pov)

 

"the chip is now fully functional...you won't get migraines anymore, general." the scientist stated, he left a report titled "TOP SECRET" and left my office. I was more than excited among the new technologies we are developing that are at the beginning stages but yet they show a lot of promise, since genetic engineering has failed we have already gone to a different approach. 'Sora...Stahl...Daniel...Defoe and The Former General...I won't fail you. Your efforts to make the world and even beyond our dimensions to make it pure are not in vain...the file in my hands...well, think of it as an investment to bank in our future...'

Marina stard. She picked up the reports and read over it slightly. "Using frequencies that only those with special 'passes' in their heads can enter...well they learned something from us taking down one base after another."Marina says. She held Lambda who slept in Marina's lap. Marina read down and stared. "(We'll need lots of explosives. We can make a chain reaction if we have the right amount. Or I could hack into the system and mess it up completetly,like with the NYAN cat virus. Either way...)"Marina thinks. She looked down at Lambda and back up at Nuri. "I'm afraid that if we bring bombs the frequencies might activate them before time. We can bring a virus to take down the system but the machines themselves would be intact. If we're going to bring bombs,we're going to make them up on the spot so they don'y blow up at our faces with the frequencies."Marina says as she closed the filed and stood up,holding Lambda. "I'll need atleast 3 guys who can build the bombs with me when we get there,we'll need to bring the materials as well. I'm thinking that if we make them once already in there,we can blow them up by control remote with a chain reaction when we're far off enough."Marina says as she held Lambda and picked up the files. "Also I'm going to need to ask something out of Niex when we get back. It involves the crystal."

Alex walked around the base, trying to keep himself occupied. Eventually he saw the door to Marina's office open, and her, Lambda, and Nuri were in there discussing something. Since Alex figured that he had nothing better to do and that baylaust was officially out of filler posts, he walked in with the small group. He had dark circles under his eyes, his skin was even paler, and sweat was gathering on his forehead, but he continued to try his best to act like his normal self. "So, are we gonna go out and hit them again soon?"

Marina looked up and saw Alex. He seemed even worse than when she had last seen him. And that was bearly an hour ago or so. "(Alex...)"Marina thinks. She then shook her head slightly and stared with a slight expression of worry. "Why yes,Alex."Marina says. She picked up the reports and walked over to him. She handed him the reports. "There are some alarming news from the Twilight Town base. We have to destroy these 6 machines,3 frequency towers and 3 generators. I'm afraid that if we bring bombs the frequencies might set them off before we even get near the towers. So I have a simple plan of bringing the materials and build the bombs on the spot. It might take a bit more time but it'll be less risky than to have bombs explode on us on the way."Marina says as she held Lambda. She smiled and looked down a bit. "I'll meet up with you two soon enough. I need to get Lambda to her room. Nuri,explain to him the details and all ok..?"Marina says with a fake smile as she walked out of the room. She walked down the hallway and her smile faded as a few tears fell down. "(He's only getting worse...its much faster than I expected...what can I even do to help...?!)"Marina thinks as she held Lambda a bit tightly.

(Not gonna be back on until Sunday)

Maloran was still walking down the hall, looking for something that could help, but he soon gave up. "Dang, you'd figure that in a place like this that you could at least find a better weapon." Maloran said to himself. Maloran continued down the hall looking for the others, the place was so huge, Maloran wondered how he wasn't lost yet. Soon, Maloran found the others and walked towards them. "Hey guys, you guys come up with a plan to take out those creeps yet?" asked Maloran.

We will slow things down a bit for you baylaust. It's not a problem.

(nuri's pov)

 

I felt a sense of sorrow in marina...'the nightmare protocol...one of their side projects...I hope she pulls through.' I turned to Alex. "I hope you pull through...we recieved little information about what you are facing...all we have is his name. We couldn't find more. It's like he is non-existing. There is no paper trail at all. I'm sorry." I said to him, feeling like a failure. 'I guess I'm used to helping people...it sucks when you don't come up with anything even though I'm in an organization that can find almost anything...almost anything...' "...the twilight town base will be difficult to get into. just pace yourself." I said. I saw meloran walk in. "yeah, we are planning to infiltrate the base taking out three electrical generators and three frequency towers soon." I said to him. "prepare for the battle of your life." I said, trying to pump up the young keyblade wielder.

 

(alessa's pov)

 

Once I have planned and finished the reports. I gave a copy to a brotherhood agent, he smile at me and left. I then left the tent for some fresh air...'i wonder if my mom is awake...' I went into the tent she was sleeping. She looked so peaceful...she was holding a cute plushie doll of some kind of blue fluffy cat...or was it a dog? It was hard to tell but it was pretty cute anyway. I sat the chair next to her bed. 'i hope I planned everything right...I don't want to disappoint anybody.' I thought.

"Right, but you're gonna need help with getting in with little trouble, when we get there, if we run into trouble, I'll hold them off, but remember, if we run into the new general, I'll heed you're help taking him down, but I'll keep the normal troops busy as long as I can while you take out the generators, I'll meet you inside afterwards." said Maloran. You could see in Malorans eyes that he was serious about taking on the new general, but you could also tell that he was serious about getting help taking him down.

Marina carried Lambda back to the room. She opened the door and closed it behind it. She looked around and layer Lambda down on the bed. She stared at her. "(She looks like a sleeping angel. She's so cute.)"Marita thinks as she smiled a bit. She got the bed sheets and covers over Lambda and stroke her hair slightly. "She's so small. We will need to defeat this before she's any older. The last thing I want is for kids her age becoming soldiers for war,even though its to late for that already..."Marina thinks. She looked down and thought for a while. "(Alex...you've given so much into this endless war...I wont let them get to you...I won't let them win...just hold on as long as you can,I'll make the greatest weapon and defeat them but...)"Marina thinks. She sniffled a bit and shook her head. "I won't let you go. I won't let them win."Marina says to herself. She looked at Lambda and then back down,closing her eyes.

Alex looked at the papers Marina had handed to him before walking out, giving them a quick glance. He looked up at Nuri and shook his head. "Don't worry about it, I wasn't expecting many leads from this. Definitely something VERY secret they've been working on." Alex rubbed his head to deal with the sweat and the buzzing pain in it. "Well, let me know when we're gonna head out." A few thoughts came to his head. There was a good chance that at this point, he wasn't going to see the end of the war. For all he knew, the Tyranny would repurpose his body into a new weapon, like Nightmare. They would then use him against the Resistance. For all he knew, they would lose. But despite this, there was only one thing he was currently caring about. Not the Brotherhood, not the war, but the girl who had just walked out of the room wearing a fake smile, as tears were slowly gathering in her eyes.

 

"Hey Nuri, I have something I want you to do for me." Alex looked at Nuri. "I don't know what's going to happen to me, but no matter what, make sure that you, the Brotherhood, the Resistance... make sure you look after Marina and keep her safe for me, alright? I lo-"

 

Alex paused for a moment, then continued. "...she's very important to me." Alex then left the room.

(nuri's pov)

 

After Alex made that request and he left the room, I nodded. "we will, Alex...I'll make sure of it." I then found myself smiling. 'they remind me of a particular couple a long long ago...I just wish them the best.' with that I reached into my pocket and grabbed my communicator. "headmaster...marina would like to see you soon." I simply left a message. I sat down and suddenly I felt an echoe of an old memory, wanting to haunt me.

 

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

 

"you need to be saved." "it WAS you!".

 

"I loved you!" "...only the darkness can truly purify!"

 

"one who knows nothing can understand nothing."

 

I closed my eyes. I didn't want to remember.

 

(alessa's pov)

 

She started to slowly wake up, she yawned. "morning." I said to her. She smiled and gave me a strong hug. "...um mom?" "hm?" "I can't breathe..." I weezed. She then let go of me, I took a gasp of air, she laughed. "so what did I miss?" she asked me. "well, we found that we cannot infiltrate the twilight town base because the frequencies around the perimeter can weaken anyone and maker you sick. So we are going to blow up the three electrical generators powering the base and the frequency towers...then the towers themselves." I said, she smiled. "that's some pretty good leadership you got there." she said, I couldn't help but smile. "well. It was apart of my training..." I said sheepishly, I felt almost like a little kid again. The most early memory of my childhood was very warm, happy and I felt special. When I told abrax, hakumei, and erebos they thought it was strange. So I just ignored it and never told anyone else since. Thinking of which...I hope they are ok.... "so we heading out soon right?" she snapped me out of my thoughts. "yeah...we are going to head out on Monday. (a certain online user is gone until then.) so right now we are prepping brotherhood agents and resistance members. so I'll just get you some breakfast and I'll give you the report." I said.

Marina looked up and stood up. Lambda was asleep. The puppy was fully charged. Marina walked over to the puppy and turned off the lamp. She closed the puppy's back and setted it on the bed. The puppy curled up and fell asleep next to Lambda. Marina smiled slightly and walked out,closing the door behind her. "Now...where's Niex?" Marina started to walk around. She walked down the hallway. She could see the soldiers getting ready from side to side. Getting equipment and such. Marina walked down the hallway and passby a few doors. "I'm sure his office is somewhere around here..."Marina says as she saw a door with soldiers standing next to it. Standing guard. "That totally must be it. =u="Marina says. She walked down and the soldiers stopped her as they crossed their arms foward. Marina grabbed their arms and rose them. "Don't worry,I'm not gonna hurt anyone."Marina says as she knocked on the door and opened the door. "Niex. I need to ask something involving the crystal."Marina says as she closed the door behind her. She looked up. "I kind of want to cut it in half."

Maloran began walking around again, killing time until the mission began. 'It's been a while since I've been to twilight town, seeing as my family was made up of thieves who would do anything to stop Tyranny, I just hope I still have the skills they all taught me for infiltration.' thought Maloran. Maloran continued his walk down the hall. "I just hope we can win this, we're going up against a larger force than last time." Maloran said to himself.

(niex's pov)

 

I sat down on a comfy chair. "well...go right ahead. we tried everything anyways. except for that...I hope you get SOME kind of response...do whatever you can think of to get it....good luck." I said to her as i grabbed my cup of tea and took a sip. it was quite bitter, but it didn't matter because finally after many centuries the secret of the crystal will be unlocked by this talented keyblade wielder. I can feel it in my soul, if anyone could do it, she would be the one. "Just make you give me a detailed report when your done, Marina. Be careful." I said to her. 'As much as I am excited, I wouldn't want her to get hurt...that would not rest well with my conscience.' I thought.

 

(leslie's pov)

 

I was munching on some military-grade cereal. It tasted like soggy chunks of ashy card-board. I read the report. It was very detailed and orderly. "that's a very good report. I'm proud of you." i said she gave me that cute sheepish smile. It was almost like she was a little girl again.

Maloran was still walking down the hall, running through the mission in his head. 'Ok, we get to Twilight Town, destroy those towers, find the secret entrance, open it, get in, destroy the Tyranny stronghold, and try not to get killed....seems simple, but then again, when is anything simple for a keyblade wielder.' thought Maloran. Maloran continued walking, until he stopped at a window. "This whole thing with Tyranny has been going on for so long, i wonder if it will ever end...still, we've gotten to far to give up now, we will end this, and avenge the lives of those that were killed in this war...i promise that." Maloran said to himself.

Marina noded. "Yes sir."Marina says. She walked to the door and opened. She looked up and showed him a glowing blue sphere between her fingers. "This is going to be the best testdrive,I swear."Marina says as she smiled and closed the door behind her. She then got the sphere away,she wanted to save this sphere for when she needed it. She walked down the hallway and saw some soldiers in a random laboratory in the base. They were working on weapons and other experiments that the Brotherhood were doing. Marina walked in and whistled. "Escue me,I need to borrow some equipment. I need a chainsaw and a base. I'm going to cut a crystal in half."Marina says. The soldiers looked at eachother. A random one walked up and handed her a chainsaw and a base. Marina thanked him and walked off back to the room. Marina cleared up the table and setted the crystal on a metal base. Marina took some pictures with a camera just for any before and after effects and looks. She noted down on a piece of paper,to make a report later. She setted the papers inside the case to be safe. "Alright."Marina says. She lowered the metal mask and turned on the chainsaw. She stared down at the glowing crystal. "Lets see what's in the core." With that Marina lowered the chainsaw and started to rev down,cutting the crystal in half. So far there were no complications. About 5 minutes passed and she was almost at the core. That's when it started to act up. As soon as Marina was starting to cut around the core,the crystal glew brightly. "Whoa..."Marina says. She stared and continued to cut down. "Easy there. Easy."Marina says to herself. Suddenly it glew brightly and a massive force of gravity forced her down,cutting through the entire crystal fully. This caused the crystal to glow everyn brighter. Marina stared with wide eyes as she couldn't move. Her eyes suddenly glew green.

Marina started to see visions again. These visions were different. They were like memories. As if she was taking someone's place for the moment. She saw as she was running down this dark and foggy hallway. She could feel the desperation and the tension that this person was feeling. "(What is this...?!)" She saw as the person picked up a large piece of wood with nails sticking out from it. The person looked up and saw this disgusting,deformed creature attack. She saw as the person fought against it with all its might. Marina couldn't bealive what she was seeing. What was going on? Suddenly the memory seemed to flash to another memory,not far from eachother. She saw the person run out of the building and down the rusty street. Wherever this place was,it was messed up and crazy. Marina started to feel sick. A massive headache struck her. "(Am I feeling...whatever this guy's feeling...?)" Marina saw as she walked up and looked around her. She sight figured to a specific building. There were around 7 corpses hanging from the roof of the building. Their eyes opened. Their expressions frozen. The bodies decaying like nothing. "(Oh god...!!!!)" Suddenly an alarm went off. It was loud enough to hurt your ears. Next thing she knows she's watching the person shoot at creatures,blood splattering everywhere. "(What the hell...is going on...?!)" Marina started to feel extremely exhausted. Psysically sick and terrible. As if she haden't stopped fighting in days. She had never felt this bad. Everything then just suddenly faded into white.

Marina's eyes stopped glowing,it seemed that time never passed on while she had experienced these 'memories'. Marina held her head and looked down. The crystal was glowing still. It seemed unstable. Noneless. Marina lowered the chainsaw and touched the unstable crystal slightly. That was enough. The crystal triggered and glew brightly,causing a small explotion of energy to happen in the room. Chairs were sent flying back. Lockers were dented in. The crystal of the door shattered into pieces. Marina was sent crashing against one of the walls. After a few seconds the energy lowered down to its normal base. The crystal returned to being its normal energy. Marina carefully took off the mask and stared up at the crystal that satted there on the table. Marina wiped some blood off her forehead from a tiny cut. "Well well well aren't you a bi-polar b*tch?"Marina says as she reffered to the crystal. She chuckled and smirked. She grabbed the suitcase and started to write down notes,and everything she saw in that vision. Marina stood up and walked over to the crystal. She stared down at it as she had fully cutted it in half. It was wonderfuly crystal smooth on the inside. Both sides of the crystal were full of energy,glowing. "(This isn't such a power source,this is a memory keeper.)"

As Alex walked through the halls, he suddenly heard a small explosion come from Marina's work station. Out of curiosity, he opened the door. Inside, he saw Marina with a cut on her forehead, looking over a crystal that was sawed in half, while all the chairs in the room were blown back, all the lockers were dented, and there was an impact mark from, where he was guessing, Marina was knocked into. He looked around for a few seconds, and then casually spoke. "Just another day in the office, huh?"

Marina looked up and noded. "Yup."Marina says. She noted down some notes that she wound hand down on the report. She lowered the notes and picked up the two pieces of crystal. She walked up to him. "This crystal is more than a power source,its like a memory keeper. Whenever its messed with it tends to activate this small defense system,in return,it gives out shards of what seem to be memories from someone. I've experienced this twice so far. I'm wondering if maybe I'll get more of these visions when I turn these into a weapon."Marina says. She setted the crystals down and picked up some papers. "I still haven't decided a desighn for them. But I'm trying to make it compatible with my keyblade and non-keyblade weapons. I've narrowed it down to gloves. Guess that'll have to go."Marina says. She turned to Alex. He seemed paler. What this 'Nightmare' person had done,it was taking a toll on him already. Marina smiled and hugged him tightly. "I'm going to build a weapon that's gonna kick Nightmare's ass."Marina says. She then letted go and picked up random pieces of metal. "And these will be part of the trick. No way I'll loose with so much."Marina says a bit out of breath,to excited for her own good. Nervous too.

Alex returned the hug, and let go when she did. As she began to get more and more excited, he couldn't help but laugh genuinely. The first time he had in quite some time. "Easy there. Can't kick Nightmare's ass until the thing is actually built. And when it is, I couldn't trust anyone more to deal the finishing blow to him than you." Alex smiled, then walked over to the wall. He leaned against it, crossing his arms and looking up at the ceiling. "Hard to believe that this is almost over. Been fighting for over half my life, and you even longer." Alex then looked over to Marina. "So what did you want to do? When the war is finally over?"

Marina started to note down a few stuff as she satted down. "Well,first I'm going to party till I see flying poptart cats. Then I'm going to explode every single tyranny base exsistance in this galaxy."Marina says as she tapped the pencil down on the table. "I want to help the worlds regain their glow before this whole war started. I want to help them re-build,re-flurish. It shouldn't take more than a few months if my calculations are correct. The Brotherhood sure has perfect candidates to be world leaders. Good ones too. They would be able to help get rid of any remaining tyranny,big or small."Marina says as she rested back on the seat and spun on it. "After all that...hm. I've never really thought what else I'd do if this war ever reached to an end."Marina says. She played with the pencil and then started to draw down on a piece of paper. "I guess I'd finally settled down and take a long vacation. Repair broken machinary or be part of the police as a hobby. Can't stay away from technology that long after getting used to it so much."Marina says as she flicked a screw off the table.

Alex kept leaning against the wall, nodding his head. Alright, no more sidestepping. Totally time to tell her that you've been developing a crush for 3 RPs now. "Well for me, the first half of my plan sounds rather similar to the first half of your plan. After that though, when I was 14, I thought I could go across the worlds, find someone, start a life, something like that." Alright, this is it. "But I'm not 14 anymore. I'm an adult, so that plan isn't as simple anymore." Oh crap, totally getting cold feet right now. Abort, abort!!! "I'm past the point where I can just go around and be a teenage heartthrob, so I doubt I can find someone new for me." Too late, too far into the explaination. What do I do??? Sidestep! SIDESTEP! SAY NOTHING, IMPLY EVERYTHING!!!!

 

"There is one person, though, that I like a lot. I just don't think she feels the same way about me..."

Marina looked up from her paper,she played with the pencil with her hand. "Oh?"Marina asks. She was now curious. Peeking this curiosity,she deiced to follow it. Marina smiled. "Well Alex,anything's possible."Marina says. She spun in her chair a bit. "Love is endless,unless you have found that one person you just can't stop thinking about,which might be your case from what I hear."Marina says. She stopped her chair and decided to be a bit playful. She setted down her pencil and stood up. She walked over to Alex and shook him slightly. "This is wonderful,you just need to tell her. As un-easy as it sounds,I doubt the man who can fight off an entire army in a matter of minutes can't deal with such a simple statistic of love."Marina says smiling. She then rested her arm on his shoulder slightly. "So,who's the lucky girl?"Marina asks. She saw the cybernatic butterfly fly in being chased by the cybernetic ferret as it ran around the room and back out.

Alrighty, so worst case scenario = realized. She's completely oblivious, and now I'm completely backed up against the wall. Now what? Tell her? Walk away? Stall until another RPer calls us away on a mission? Maybe I'll try hinting a little bit. Oh God, how do I get into these situations...? Alex shrugged. "Eh, she's a friend. That's being modest, actually. A good friend. The best I've ever had. She's been there for me for a long time, and me for her, and we just click." Alex shook his head and looked at Marina in the eyes. "But that's what I'm afraid of... we've been friends for so long, that I don't think she can ever see me like that. I don't even know if she's ever thought of me in that way, or if she ever will."
