The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR THE RPERS THAT WERE IN THE PAST RPS. THE TIME-GAP IS 10 YEARS.

 

Allright fellow RPers. Begin the RP!

Marina looked over at Alex. "(Best friend huh? Could it be Leslie? She's been around for a long time.)"Marina thinks. She looked to the side for a bit. "(It could either be Leslie or,who else has been this lo...)"Marina thinks. She then felt a slight blush creep up her cheeks. She shook her head and looked down. "(Wait,names haven't been mentioned. No jumping into conclusions. Though there is only a certain group,and only two females that have been in this whole trajectory,and that's me and Leslie...)"Marina thinks. She looked up at Alex,a blushe visible on her cheeks. Even though she tried to make it seem like she didn't noticed that she was blushing. "Well.Alex,you'll never know until you ask her. Who knows. She might feel the exact same way,and has the same doubts..."Marina says as she smiled and scratched her cheek. She patted his back. "You just need to say it,forget about the concequences for later. Infact,lets go right now,I'll help you with it."Marina says as she grabbed his hand to drag him out. So many thoughts ran through her mind. Her,Leslie,what other females have appeared that could be of major importance,that kind of stuff and more.

Alex could barely process what was happening. A second ago he was talking to Marina, and now she was dragging him by the arm, with an obvious blush on her cheeks, to find this girl of his. It didn't take much to put together that the situation was quickly going south. He grabbed Marina's hand. "Nonononononono, it's alright. I can do it myself." Both of them stopped in the hallway, Alex looking at Marina. Despite how incredibly pale he was, there was a slight flush of red on his cheeks. "Marina.... I....." Suddenly, Alex found himself overwhelmed. Thoughts of the worst case scenario constantly played in his mind, and he couldn't stop them. He didn't know if this was because of his cold feet, or if Nightmare was just playing with his head, but he suddenly found himself quickly turned around. "It's alright, never mind. Actually, forget I said anything." With an obvious flush on his cheeks, Alex began walking away quickly. Well, if she didn't know before, she does now.

 

Alex found his way back into his dorm, the door slightly open. He didn't lie on the bed or anything, he just stared at the wall for a short period of time. He didn't know if Marina would come after him or not. Eventually, Alex just casually leaned forward and slightly hit his head against the wall, resting it there.

 

Alex, you are an idiot.

Marina stared. "(Alex-kun...)"Marina thinks as she felt her cheek slightly. It was warm. She then looked down at her hand and made it a slight fist. She looked up,her face now red. She walked down the hallway when she heard her name being called. She turned to see a soldier. "Um,I came to pick up a report?"The soldier says. Marina stared at him and then back upfront. "Um,its on the table. Just pick the papers up and don't touch anything."Marina says as she hurried down the hallway. The soldier casually walked in the room and picked the papers. He stared at the crystal. He looked around and then poked it. Suddenly he was sent flying back and out of the room. He fell down flat on his face. "Ow..." Marina walked down the hallway and stopped infront of a closed room. She stared at the door and looked down. "(Maybe I should let him sort it out. But...)"Marina thinks as she closed her eyes a bit. She turned and saw the cybernetic butterfly land on her shoulder. The cybernetic ferret wrapped around her leg. Marina stared and looked back up at the door. She took a step back and hid around a corner,and satted down.

Alright, enough.

 

Alex stepped out of the room. He didn't have much expression in his face. It seemed like he was just acting on autopilot, but he wasn't resisting. The truth was, he was scared. Horrified. Despite the confident mask he put on for everyone, the uncertainty of what was going to happen to him was tearing him apart. That kind of thing made him think of everything he was afraid of losing, and when he did, there was one person he thought of more than anyone else. The person he didn't need a mask for, because she could always see what was under it. The person who he knew would always have his back, and he knew that he would always have hers. He knew that he wanted to be with her, and it was time to put everything down.

 

Alex saw Marina sitting in a corner. Without saying anything, he walked over to her and sat down beside her. He didn't say anything to her, he just looked ahead. Despite the fact that things were about to change forever between them, he still knew her better than anyone. He knew that she wouldn't lead him on. She would either say no, or say yes. She would either pull away, or hold tighter.

 

Without turning, Alex moved his hand to hers, and held it. Firmly, but gently. His cards were all on the table now. He was unsure of what would happen next.

 

Pull away, or hold tighter?

Marina looked to the side blushing. Alex was looking foward with a pokerface expression on his face. Marina stared and tilted her head slightly. She saw the ferret jump onto her knee. Marina turned to it and then back at Alex. The pink,redish blush still on her face. Marina then looked down onto their hands. "(Memento Mori,Marina...)"Marina thinks. She slightly turned her hand,holding Alex's hand back gentlely. Marina letted out a nervous smile on her face as she looked down to her feet. "(Memento Mori...memento mori...)" Marina looked up at the cieling and then looked to the side at Alex as she tilted her head to the side a bit. "(Memento...mori...)" Marina then looked upfront. She scuttled a bit closer and then tilted her head. She then rested her head on his shoulder and stared upfront. She gave a nod. "Si,yes."Marina says. She then watched as the ferret chased its own tail in a circle.

Alex looked down to see Marina's hand curl around his gently. She likes me back? He then felt Marina's body slightly shuffle towards his, and he suddenly felt her head resting against his shoulder. She likes me back... She didn't say much. All she said was "Si, yes," with a nod of her head. Alex didn't need to hear any more. Still looking at their hands, Alex began to smile. His grip slightly tightened against her's, though it was still gentle. Alex turned to look back ahead again, smiling. He didn't say anything; there was nothing he needed to say. Despite everything he was going through right now, he was happy. Extremely happy.

 

Alex simply sat there with her, holding her hand and letting her head rest against his shoulder.

Maloran continued looking out the window and was still running through things in his mind. 'Ok, we all know the mission, but the only question is, how do we get on twilight town without....getting...discovered.' thought Maloran until he remembered something. Maloran slapped himself in the forehead for forgetting. "Oh man, how could i forget." said Maloran. He then pulled out a small device he had in his pocket. "I knew this thing would come in handy eventually, gotta find one of the others, fast." said Maloran as he started running down the hall. Eventually, he saw Marina and Alex and skidded to a halt. "Guys, i found a way to get on to Twilight Town without directing to much attention, get the others and meet me in the briefing room.....oh, i hope i wasn't interrupting anything." said Maloran as he took off again.

Marina opened one eye and looked up at Maloran. She gave a slight nod before him running off,probably to tell Leslie and the rest. Marina looked down at her hand and blushed slightly pink. She then stretched a bit and looked up. "We better get going to the briefing room. Maloran says he found a way to get into Twilight Town without getting discovered much. We'll need that kind of thing at our favor."Marina says. She looked to the side and looked at Alex. She smiled and tilted her head. "Lets get going so."Marina says. She stood up and helped Alex up to his feet. Marina smiled and rubbed the back of her neck,she still haden't letted go of Alex's hand. The cybernetic ferret bounced around and crawled up until it satted on her head. Marina smiled a bit and the two started to head to the briefing room. Marina was now thinking of what could Maloran have that could help them. She was curious. The other half of her mind was someone else. The soldier that had picked up the report handed Niex part 1 of the 3 part report that Marina was writting down.

Alex raised an eyebrow as Maloran ran off. Gotta love how he apoligizes for interrupting after he says everything he needed to say, and not the moment he saw us. "Thanks for the update, bud," he called after Maloran. Alex cracked his neck as Marina helped him up. "Well, maybe things are finally going to get rolling again. The resting period for this RP has been getting unneededly long for my taste, personally." The two then started to walk to the briefing room together. Alex's eyes moved up to the ferret on Marina's head. His eyes then moved downwards to their hands, which were still together. With a smile still on his face, Alex looked forward once again, walking hand in hand with Marina.

(leslie's pov)

 

"well, it should be about enough time that I had my rest...I should meet up with alex, marina, and meloran. The mission should start soon." I said to her. "yeah, better now then never." alessa smiled. "yeah...soon this can all be over and things will return back to the way they were...a free world, no tyranny, and peace...I know I'll live to see it." I said. Me and alessa walked out of the tent, resistance soldiers were busy, yet brotherhood agents seem more busier. I saw niex pass by, he smiled at me while he was crowded with agents asking him questions and whatnot. I then entered the tent they were in. marina's face looked...reddish? alex looked casual as usual and meloran was pretty much there. "you guys ready?" I was pumped to take out those generators.

 

-meanwhile-

 

"general highwind...." a soldier saluted to him, he did the same. "what's the issue here?" he asked. "no, issue sir. The generators and the towers are now running at full capacity. anyone not wearing a chip might as well be dead, sir!" the soldier said. "excellent..." he said, he was out of his office walking down a long hallway. they reached the end of the hallway. there was a table filled with mechanical parts...some looked like arms and legs. "I'm glad we have reached such advancements so quickly...they will be so pleased." general highwind said. "they are they advanced parts sir. Production has already made a large volume, sir." the soldier said.

 

-meanwhile-

 

(niex's wife pov)

 

we made it to midgar...it's was very lively. people were everywhere, I then spotted men and women in black suits. "don't be alarmed by them...they are just Turks." I said to them. Lightning just looked unimpressed at the whole city, snow and sahz were just enjoying the stroll, hope looked bored, fang and vanielle were having a small conversation to themselves.

Maloran was ready, but he had something to run through first. "Yanley, before we do anything, i already mentioned to Alex and Marina something that could get you guys in without being noticed." said Maloran. Maloran then pulled out a small device he had in his pocket. "Now, just to point out, this is a tracker, don't worry, it's not activated...anyway, these thing were used on my family as, besides keyblade wielders, we were dead against Tyranny and openly defied them, two years ago, i swiped this thing from a Tyranny stronghold, i managed to make a prototype copy last year and added a self destruct function to it, though i used a little to much explosives, i managed to get it right and modify this one, it will only detonate when a Tyranny member is near, now, the minute we get to Twilight Town, i can activate it to buy you some time, i'll lead the majority of the Tyranny soldiers away, then meet you at the towers through the tunnels under my uncle's house, now, the minute you see the explosion, you'll have about 10 minutes before they realize it was a trap and head back to the towers, but i should be able to hold them off long enough for you guys to take the towers down." said Maloran, hoping the others would believe his plan could at least by them some time.

Marina noded and made a fist. "Yes. Those generators won't stand a chance against fire power!"Marina says. She looked up and turned to Maloran. She heard what he had to say. Marina thought for a few seconds. "That...could actually work."Marina says as she started to think of how much time it would take them to create the explosives on the spot. "(10 minutes...10 minutes,will it be enough?)"Marina thinks. She thought of bringing explosives ready,but what if they detonate because of the soundwave frequencies? Not only would they be discovered,they might of end up getting themselves killed...Marina then looked up and got her hand down on a box. She took out the glowing sphere made out of the crystal. "(Maybe this will give me a boost.)"Marina thinks. She then looked up and saw a random brotherhood agent walk up with a backpack. He handed it to Marina. Marina took it and looked inside. It was full with the nessesary materials to make enough fire power to take down the towers. She would add some of her own spheres into the bombs and make them sure they were 'extra' explosive. "Arigato."Marina says as she closed the bag and got it around her shoulders. "Alright,lets go."

(leslie's pov)

 

I nodded. we all went outside the tent, the air was dry. we were then greeted by a large mob gathered around us, they were wearing tyranny uniforms of different ranks,jobs, and classes. Nuri stepped infront in a tyranny electrician outfit with a plain blue baseball cap. she then began to speak. "Alright! the deal is that once we all teleport we teleport into random areas around twilight town. you will need to be in small groups to not invoke any suspicion!" she said to everyone. she handed me, alex, alessa, and meloran different tyranny outfits....I got a Soldier uniform, Master Sargent. "ima teleport you guys where you can slip into them. now with a large group of people we cant teleport you guys like this becuase we dont have enough power, so instead we will use the tele-ball." nuri said to me, she adjusted her cap and put it backwards. she then threw a ball that looks very peculiar. it had a button in the middle, the top half was red the bottom half was white. she dramatically threw the ball onto the ground and a huge white flash of white emerged from it. next thing i knew, it was sunset, we were surrounded by old buildings that had a different shades of orange. It was clear that we were on the unincorporated side of town. "for technology that came from another dimension...that was trippy..." i said.

Alex looked around as he and the others were transported to an older part of town. He scratched his head for a moment. "So basically, we just used a pokeball as a teleportation device so that we could change clothes and blow stuff up. Seems about right." Alex looked at the uniform that was in his hands. Why is it that this isn't the first time I've had to put on one of the enemies' uniforms so that I could infiltrate them? Alex shrugged. "Alright, well I guess it's about time we do what we do best: create big explosions and give the Tyranny a hard time."

"Right, you guys get ready and go hide, i'll lure the enemy away." said Maloran as he pulled out the tracker. "Wish me luck." said Maloran as he ran to a different area. "Man, i hope this works." said Maloran. He then activated the tracker, but after about a minute, he noticed that it was attracting more attention to him than he expected. "Ok, this thing is working a little to well." said Maloran as he started running. Maloran then pulled out a communicator. "Alex, Marina, it's all up to you now, i'm not sure how long i'll be able to keep this up, so you'll have about ten minutes before i let this thing blow sky high." Maloran said over the communicator.

Marina shook her head and stared down at the uniform. By when Maloran ran off Marina was already getting it over her normal clothing. They heard Maloran through the communicator. "That gives us 20 minutes in total,it should be enough to make a few bombs and let them go."Marina says as she zipped up the uniform and stared down at the blue cap. She got it on her head and grabbed the backpack. "We have enougn material in here to make the bombs,plus with a red sphere in each one of these is sure to cause a chain reaction of explotions big enough to turn these towers into pieces of rubble."Marina says with a sure smile as she gave thumbs up. She looked up. "Lets get going. Maloran can only hold them for so long before he has that tracker explode."Marina says as she got her communicator. "Keep going Maloran,be careful out there."Marina says through the communicator. The special blue sphere was glowing brlightly in the box.

(Leslie's pov)

 

Dry winds sweeped across the unincorporated part of town. No soldiers or people in sight, it was perfect. the area we are in gets us around and against the mountains so we cant be seen, plus since the river is a couple of miles down by nightfall we will take the first generator by surprise. we walked along the area, buildings that were teeming with life are now relics of a beloved era abandoned by time. 'The Sandlot...now just an empty space apart of old twilight town. It's sad...I remember when I was a kid I would sneak out of my homeworld just for the heck of it and came here on accident...I had so much fun. I played with all the kids that just ran around the streets and get into all kinds of adventures...' we eventually started to reach to civilization, tyranny soldiers marching about and counting cadence. We passed a security point with ease...I guess they hacked into the database to give us access. the river was close, all we had to do was head north.

Marina followed closely as they walked around. She had her hand by the case with the spheres. She was thinking about that one specific blue sphere. After taking it she would need to note down the side effects. She would also had to talk to Niex about it,maybe with the right machine they could achieve more of those memories that are floading out of it... Marina shook her head slightly and looked up. "(Need to focus.)"Marina thinks. She then looked up at the sky. It was greyish orange. Pretty dull. Twilight Town was where she was raised,and right now,it was pretty much a ruined wasteland with factories and bases being the only place active. "(To think a few years ago this was pretty much a paradise for a few people.)"Marina thinks. She stopped for a bit and looked to the side to see the clift of the sunset terrace. She remembered the bloodshed that occured here years ago,it simply couldn't of been prevented with so many at it. Marina did a slight symbol with her hand in the air and muttered something. She the hurried back and walked along side the group. "The towers should be up ahead,right?"Marina asks.

(leslie's pov)

 

"yeah...we are right here to the first tower." the river infront of us was almost dry, I could clearely see the bottom. there were no fish at all and vegetation covered the tower as we crossed it. 'if they were trying to hide it, they did a pretty crappy job at it.' next to the tower were tracks from a humvee. they seemed fresh, we needed to hurry before they come back probably. the tower was about over 100 feet, at the base it was about 100 by 100. "do your thing marina." I said. I sat back and put on by sunglasses to watch the fireworks.

 

(alessa's pov)

 

I found myself seperated, I was with nuri and the other resistance members. we were on the upperclass side of town. "corprate and millitary fat cats live around here, this is going to be tricky to meet up with the others to let them pass the gate to get the tower in the central square." nuri said, we were 5 east from it. it was made out of gold, it was so shiny and beautiful like if it was a work of art created by a master craftsman. "bait and switch?" I said, nuri smiled at me. "two great minds think alike." the rest of the group scattered and blended in with the passerbys. me and nuri casually walked towards the guard gate box with an open tinted window. she showed me she had keys. she opened the door inn the back and I went infront to stir up a small chat with the guard. I looked at him and smiled, he waved then in a split second the tinted window closed and I heard some muffled noises. I stood infront of the tinited window casually, then the noises suddenly stopped. I turn around the tinted window slowly opens, nuri must have traded uniforms with him. "alot nicer, than the electrician outfit." I said. "control of le gate, check." she said.

Marina noded. "Right."Marina says. She got her backpack down and opened it. She quickly started to make the explosives. She layed out the red paper and poured gun powder down in it. She then took out a red sphere and setted it within the gunpowder. Out of one of the pockets she took out a small device and setted it inside. She added a few more ingridients before rolling it up and adding a rubber like material to seal it. She then stuck it to the tower. She repeated the process and made enough bombs. Marina then took out a medium sized gun and wrapped something around her waist. "Be right back guys."Marina says. She shotted upwards at the tower and a small harpoon was sent flying,stabbing down at the tower. As soon as it hit it turned into a small box. "Here we go." Marina pressed a button on the gun and she was lifted up a few feet into the air. There Marina setted up a few more bombs for extra effect. She then took a few wires and connected them with the bombs around the tower. "There we go. This should be enough fire power to take it down."Marina says as she lowered herself back down to the ground. She unzipped the waist holder and took out a small control remote. She twisted it to the side. She then entered a small code and the light went from red to green as the crystal protecting the shiny red button opened up. Marina smirked and looked back. "I suggest we move exactly to...the left. A few metters to the left."Marina says as she jumped back a bit and pressed the red button. Causing a massive chain reaction of explotions.

Maloran was now a good distance away from the main building. 'Ok, now to go overboard with the explosion.' thought Maloran. Maloran then turned on his communicator again. "Guys, i'll be there in a few minutes.....if i survive the explosion." said Maloran. Maloran then activated the detonator in the tracking device and threw it behind him. "3......2......1!" shouted Maloran. The detonator exploded, killing the Tyranny guards pursuing him as he dived behind cover. When Maloran came out from cover, he saw that a good portion of the area was trashed, but no civilian was hurt. "THAT WAS AWESOME!" shouted Maloran. Maloran then turned on his communicator again. "Alright guys, i'm on my way, i'll meet ya inside." said Maloran as he took off.

Alex stood with the others as a massive chain reaction of explosions occured. He looked at them. "Huh. We'll need to at least triple that for our celebration when we finally bring the Tyranny down, but not a bad start. So, what's next?" Alex suddenly began to feel light headed. He stumbled a couple of feet away from the others and held his head. He heard a familiar voice ringing in his head.

 

"Your time has almost come, Mr. Roberts."

 

Alex fell to his knees and threw up. Breathing heavily and coughing, he stood up again, though his legs were shaking.
