The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR THE RPERS THAT WERE IN THE PAST RPS. THE TIME-GAP IS 10 YEARS.

 

Allright fellow RPers. Begin the RP!

Marina gave a smile. "Alright."Marina says. She picked up the bag and got it around her shoulder. She looked to Leslie and chuckled. "Why would I do that? We still have time,and we haven't encountered that many problems."Marina says as she tapped her back slightly. Marina then walked foward a bit and took out a notepad and a pen. She started to write down. "( 'The effects are extrordinary. My power feels to have increased by 150% or so. Flames have appeared on my body. Maybe as a way to keep the energy in check. Maybe my body can't take in fully so these flames are nessesary so I don't explode. It is quite interesting. These flames may just be secondary effects.')"Marina thinks as she wrote down the notes. She would need these when she got back. Marina got the note and pen away as she walked up the hills. She could see something already in the distance. She hurried her pace a bit as the flames caused burnt marks on the ground.

Alex had an eyebrow raised as Marina walked ahead of them, burn marks appearing in the ground behind her. The fact that she had become so much more powerful was obviously a good thing, and yet, he couldn't help but be slightly worried. She got this power by using herself as a guinea pig for the crystal, when no one knew what would happen if someone consumed it. Would the effects be permanent? Would her body be able to handle it? He had no idea, and it slightly scared him. "Well, looks like we might have found that superweapon we were looking for: you," Alex said jokingly, masking his concern. His tone then became slightly more serious. "Just make sure that this thing doesn't have any unintended side effects." He knew full well that Marina was fully capable of looking after herself, but he couldn't help but be concerned. As they were walking, Alex's eyes slightly widened. His vision became blurry, and his head was ringing in pain. He squeezed his eyes shut, held his head, and shook it. Eventually, his vision cleared and the pain vanished. Breathing out deeply, Alex continued ahead, hoping that no one saw that little outburst. The last thing the group needed was to be worrying about if he could finish the mission. Which he was determined to do.

"Hey guys, wait up." called Maloran as he ran after the others. Maloran kept looking around for any other possible ambushes or traps that might've been set up, and was relieved to see nothing of the sort so far. Maloran kept his keyblade drawn just in case of emergency. Maloran then started walking next to Alex. "Hey Alex, i know you guys have been at this longer than i have, and i know it must be tough on you with how long this war has been going on, but i have a question for ya, how long has Marina been able to do that?" asked Maloran, refuring to this 'Rage' that Yanley mentioned. Maloran didn't even want to go near Marina until those flames died down.

Marina looked back at Alex smiling. "I guess. But the crystal piece was so small,and its power is limited since it wasn't a piece that was close to the core."Marina says. She looked down at her hand and stared at the flame. "Hopefully the after effects won't be as bad,or permanent. I sincerely don't know what to expect. I just do hope these flames die down. I don't want to be a christmas light all the way home."Marina says as they walked to the tower. "(It's in my body,so I can't exactly control it fully. But maybe if I find a way to wield it from the outside,to the inside,and back to the outside,and virse versa,there's a chance that something might work.)"Marina thinks. They eventually got to the tower. For these towers being pretty big,there was lack of portection around them. Marina took explotions out and started to get devices inside of them to make them explode. She then stared at the flames at her feet. "(Wait.)"Marina thinks. She stared blankly at space for about exactly 10 minutes before she snapped her fingers. "Makes sense!"Marina says as she finished analizing. She picked up the explotions and walked up to the tower. She got explotions all around the tower's bottom. She then got a very special bomb out. This one would make the great finally. She got it in her mouth to old it and got her hands on the tower. She felt the flames somewhat melt in the metal of the tower as she started to slightly climb upwards. She would need to set this bomb right in the middle to take it down completetly.

Alex looked at Maloran. "She's been able to do this for slightly less than a page worth of posts. I'm new to it, too." Alex then looked at Marina as she casually melted her way into the tower and began climbing up it. He looked into where she burned through, then looked as she was climbing up. It seemed like nothing could get in her way, and she had no intent of slowing down. He slightly shrugged, unsure of what he should do. "Uh... let me know if you need any help up there." Alex poked his head back out, looking at the others. "I guess..."

(General Highwind's pov)

 

The basement was a huge mess, there were blueprints everywhere. A chamber filled with wires and circuits inputs were destroyed. "Im afraid the boot chamber malfunctioned..." Balthazar said, I rubbed my temples. "that's the fourth one this week!" I said. "It overheated and strained the local power generator next to it...hence the lights exploding and the 4.0 earthquake..." bathazar said. I kicked a Large block of debris. I could feel the veins popping right out of my neck. I gritted my teeth together and I made a hole in the drywall. "one escaped....which unit was using the boot chamber LAST?!" I yelled. "er...um...well...the system shows that no unit was even Appointed this boot chamber...in fact this chamber was put out of commission last week...." he said in a very low voice. I noticed something on the ground, small--gold and The light indicator blinked rapidly red. My anger turned into raged as I jumped into the boot chamber and ripped apart what was left of it with my bare hands. the electric pulse jolted my hands but I kept destroying it. "Master Highwind! im going to make sure we find the unit that escaped..." I heard him run out of the basement. I dropped on the metallic floor. '...I am firetruckED right in the ear.' I couldnt make sense out of any of these happenings, with the control panel, the firewalls are gibing out, and now THIS.

 

(leslie's pov)

 

alex didnt look too good. 'I hope he pulls through...' I slipped an Elixir in one of his pockets with out him knowing. 'one advantage to guys wearing baggy pants I guess...' "Marina, I hope you can steer well with those powers. we wouldnt want you to spontaneously combust!" I gave her a grin, then we headed closer to the next tower, it wasnt far but JUST to make sure I checked for anything weird in the ground...I wouldnt exactly want to be shot at with death beams again, nor a huge ultra indestructible ball. "lit 'er up like a candle!" I said.

Marina waved down at the group smiling. She setted the bombs and got devices in them. She setted special spheres so the bombs would go off perfectly. She jumped down and landed on the ground perfectly. She stood up and backed away. "Alright,everyone be ready."Marina says. She took out the control and entered a code. The button went from green to red. She pressed it. A chain explotion went off as all the bombs went off. It was a mix of normal fire with blood red fire and greenish fire. The tower slowly tilted over. Marina backed away a bit as it fell to the side and crashed down. The earth shook by the force. Marina smiled and threw a punch into the air. "Alright!"Marina says as the entire tower,or its remains better to day,were on fire and destroyed. Marina turned to Leslie. "That one's down. I'm extremely surprised that we haven't faced any problems so far. These disguises are pretty awesome."Marina says.

Alex was staring as multicoloured fire blasted out of the tower, and the thing toppled to the ground. The fact that they were so casually wrecking all of these places was amazing him. Quite frankly, Alex was waiting for one of the RPers to just go "lolno" and send a horde of soldiers after them, but since it hadn't happened, he wasn't going to worry about that. Another part of him wondered if the mission was done yet and they could go back. His symptoms hadn't been getting any worse, and Nightmare seemed to be leaving him alone for now, so for now he wasn't too concerned. Mostly though, he was still in amazement from Marina. She was pretty much doing the entire mission on her own. He just stared at her for a moment. "...you are legit awesome, you know that?"

Marina smiled at Alex's comment. She walked over to Alex and got a bit closer,being careful that she didn't ended up burning him with the flames. He was pretty pale. He seemed to be doing fine. But something was a bit off. Marina then got distracted and looked to the side. "We're missing three more towers or something right? We can't take all of our time or else we might get caught,even with these disguises. We need to get going."Marina says. She didn't knew how much longer would the effect last either,so she wanted to get the mission over with. She also needed to get back to Lambda,and she didn't wanted for Alex to over do himself. "We're a group of 4 right? We could seperate,each one takes down a tower, and meet up at a meeting point. We will be able to do it faster,and even more damage than one by one."Marina suggested. It wasn't the best idea,but it was something.

Alex looked at Marina, slightly sweating from a combination of not feeling well, her flames giving off heat, and generally just being close to her. He shrugged. "Well, since I guess Sigrun isn't online to respond right now, I think that's a good idea. Better than nothing, at least." He looked around. There were at least 3 or 4 more towers to take care of, and considering that there was 4 of them, it added up. "Yeah, let's do it. Besides, as long as we have these disguises and no one decides to go attack-crazy and blow our cover, it shouldn't be too difficult for us to infiltrate a tower each. Now, where should we meet up when this is done?"

(Alright, Sigrun has been offline for nearly a month now. I really don't want this RP to die, but unless Star knows what Sig wanted to do and can take over for her [which I don't know how in touch you were], I guess we're on hiatus again.)

Marina thought for a while and snapped her fingers. "The Clock Tower Ruins. They're nearby and we all know where they are,right at the Plaza."Marina says as her flames seemed to be dying out already as it was a small piece she had taken. From the fiery ruins behind them,something seemed to crawl out. Marina was facing her back to it,so she didn't noticed yet. "This sounds like a good solid plan! We seperate,and we meet at the ruins,who's with me?"Marina asks. Just then she heard a very very low growl. It was unhuman. She turned and her eyes widened as this huge....creature crawlled out of the ruins from the tower. "What the hell is that?!"Marina asks as they backed away a bit. The creature stretched it's long neck and letted out a loud roar. Marina glares. "(There must of been a reseach facility under the tower,great...)"Marina says. She got her keyblade ready. "You want a fight?! Come at me!"Marina says. The creature's multiple eyes quickly locked on them. It instantly attacked at them. Marina dodged and blocked with her keyblade. She suddenly started to feel exhausted. She fell on one knee and catched her breath. "(The energy. I must of went way over my orginal body limit.)"Marina thinks as she could feel her hands a bit sore. She then saw as the creature slammed one of its claws downward. Marina jumped back. She then used what was left of the dying flames and had her push herself towards it. She landed on its head and slammed her keyblade against it. The creature roared and shook violently.

How it looks like. The one with long neck and wings eating the dog thingy.

"Alright, sounds good. Let's do this." Alex then heard a loud roar come from behind him. He turned to see an enormous monster with long legs, neck, and jaw, staring at the group. Alex was silent for a moment. "...well this blows." Alex then noticed that Marina was quickly losing energy. That crystal must be wearing off, and her normal self is becoming drained because of it. Alex quickly joined Marina, his eyes turning blue. He drew his Keyblade and began spinning it quickly, several blades of light blasting out from it. They all struck the monster and it roared in pain, but it didn't do much else. It snapped it's long jaws at Alex, who jumped out of the way and hit the ground. It was a slow and painful process for Alex to get back on his feet. So, it's a completely drained Marina and a consistantly on the verge of passing out me, versus a giant monster of pain. This'll end well.

Marina stood up as the flames vanished completetly. Marina smirked. "(Noted: After an incredible bounce of power and stamina,you are left with your body dealing with the concequences if you over did your own original capacities.)"Marina thinks. She stood up and stumbled a bit. She looked up and looked over at Alex. Her eyes narrowed as she looked back upwards. She lifted her keyblade and got her hand on the back of the backpack,looking for something. She then found a bunch of black strick all rolled up. She bit the end of it and got the roll back in the backpack as she continued to bite the string. She breathed a bit heavily as she started to run straught at the creature,dragging her keyblade a bit. The creature roared and slammed it's head down towards Marina. Marina jumped back to avoid it,but then the creature swung it's neck upwards and slammed right at Marina,sending her flying upwards. The creature then stretched it's neck upwards and opened it's mouth wide open. It took a few seconds for Marina to finally realize what was happening around her after that hit. She fell right into the mouth. But at the very last second she spun her keyblade and stabbed both sides between the creature's teeth. She held on for dear life as the creature tried to bite down the keyblade white swinging it's tail around. "(Dammit!)"Marina thinks. She took out the black string from her mouth and started to tie it around her keyblade with one hand. The creature roared. Marina growled. "This thing's breath smells like decay!!!!"Marina yelled in anger as she was lucky not to get naseous.

Alex saw the monster trying to bite down on Marina's Keyblade. She obviously had something planned, but the monster was too unfocused. It needed a target to keep it distracted. "Alright, let's do this..." Alex sprinted as fast as he could towards the monster. He slid on his knees under the monster, and while spinning on the ground, slashed its leg, bringing forth a roar of pain. Alex quickly got back on his feet and slammed his blade into the monster's body. It turned and kicked Alex, sending him flying and hitting the ground. Alex genuinely could not get up from the ground, thanks to the fact that his body was extremely weak. The beast walked towards Alex, now focused on him instead of Marina.

(Man, i thought this was dead)

 

"Alright, now it's my turn." said Maloran. Maloran ran at the monster, keyblade in hand and jumped into the air, bringing his keyblade down onto the monsters head, hearing it roar in agony. "Ha, try and withstand a hit like that you overgrown beast." said Maloran. The monster turned and faced Maloran, who went wide eyed. "Ok, maybe i didn't think that one through, either that, or i didn't use enough strength to take it down...YIKES!" exclaimed Maloran as he started running along nearby walls and doing aerial flips to avoid the monster.

(It's at the verge of dying but it has a bit of life in it left.)

 

Marina threw the string around the creature's teeth and it rolled around and fell back down. Marina catched it. She then started to spin with her keyblade and jumped off and out of the creature's mouth. She pulled the string and her keyblade came with her. Marina then used Aeroga and forced herself over the creature. She fell down and landed on it's head. The creature roared violently and shook. Marina got the string and started to slide down the creature's neck,spinning the string around it. She eventually wrapped it around tight and jumped back,still holding onto the string,there was few left. The creature saw her and slammed her with its tail. Marina fell back and landed on her feet,dragging some ground with her. She stared down as the end of the string had finally been reached. She quickly cut it with her keyblade and stared. "Now. One last spark."Marina says. She snapped her fingers and a vert tiny and faint green flame appeared on her fingertips. The last recidue of the effect of what she had taken in. She got the flame on the string and the flame quickly went up the string. Soon enough it was a blazing flame as it went and followed the trail of the string that covered the creature,covering it in furious flames. "This should give us a chance."Marina says as she attacked the creature with Firaga.

(Under the assumption that Sigrun isn't going to be back for a long time, if ever, we could always try to carry on without her. The Civil War series has died too many times for my taste. I really don't want to see it kick the bucket for good before we get to finish it. Also, I'll make a real post when I have a bit more time.)

Its was like as If I was frozen and time sped on by fast. I gasped for air, I looked on my own reflection on a shiny object, my lips were blue. my eyes became bewildered and sharp with sheer intensity. Sweat dripped from my forehead. The creature, was just a pure blasphemy upon looking at it. It look like it came from the bottom of the deepest layer of all nine hells. I looked around my surroundings. things look completely unrecognizable to me. My keyblade was out and I was at a battle stance.

 

'what On earth...?'

Alex picked himself up, his legs shaking horribly. He could feel that his body didn't have much left. But instead of giving in and trying to retreat, Alex simply resolved to avoid getting hit like that again. "I'm fine, everyone.... thanks for asking...." Alex then ran once again at the creature, his Keyblade dragging on the ground behind him, generating sparks. He stopped and swung it, his Keyblade grinding against the ground and generating more sparks. As he swung, a blast of fire shot out and engulfed the monster. "Can you just die?! We have buildings to blow up!"

"We have a problem, sir."

 

Nightmare appeared out of a black hole in the wall, approaching the head of Nightmare Protocol. "What's going on? Is everything on schedule? Is Alex about to break?"

 

"That is the problem, sir." Nightmare began to walk forward. "According to his strength of mind when I first marked him... his body should have given in by now. Something has changed. His will to fight has become more powerful... he has just gained something. Something important to him. Something he refuses to let go of."

Marina stared as he creature continued to fight even though it was engulfed in flames. "We won't last before this thing gets their attention."Marina says. She dodged some attacks and looked over at Alex. She then looked back up towards Leslie and Marolan. "I have a suggestion,but I don't know how it might end up."Marina says. She backflipped and then used aeroga and pushed herself towards the creature. She slashed at the creature and slammed her blades down onto its side. The creature roared and slammed against her. Marina blocked with her keyblades and landed back. "We need to destroy those remaining towers,and destroy this creature. We can split up,two destroy the towers,two destroy the monster. If anything happens,we meet up at the Twilight Town Clock Tower ruins. Just a suggestions noneless."Marina says as she used gravita on a bunch of debri and sent it flying towards the creature. It it the creature's head as it roared. Marina could already feel the bruises forming up. She attacked towards the creature again and sent Firaga towards it,taking a slight glance at Alex. "(As much as we trust. I'm afraid he isn't going to last to the end of this mission.)"Marina thinks as she sent more Firaga.

Alex pointed his Keyblade at the monster and shot a beam of light at it. Marina was right: if this battle continued, the Tyranny would take notice, and they'd be swarmed with more soldiers than they could handle. Alex also knew that he wasn't as effective in combat as he could have been. This wasn't his fight right now. "I can take care of one or two of those towers. I'm not exactly in prime fighting condition anyway, so I'd be more effective at that." Alex looked at Marina for a few seconds. "...be careful." He then turned and dismissed his Keyblade, running in the direction of the towers.

Marina watched as Alex ran towards the towers. She muttered. "I could say the same." She looked back foward and looked to the side. "You're one ugly creature."Marina says. The creature roared and slammed around. Marina charged straight towards it. She dragged her keyblade and heated it up with firaga. The creature slammed its tail down. Marina jumped up high and landed on it. The creature rose its tail up high,throwing her into the air. Marina pointed at the creature's eye and shot at it. It got it. The creature roared in pain as his eye exploded and it started to bleed massively this red and black liquid. It was pretty disgusting. Marina spun and got her keyblade to the side as she sent another firaga. Hopefully they could burn it into ashes. She could already notice some of its skin was melting off so it was doing something. The creature suddenly slapped its tail towards Marina. She blocked but it sent her flying. The creature then launched at her and bit down. "Oh come on!"Marina yells as she stabbed at the creature's snout to hold on. She flipped back and then slashed at its forehead.

"Marina, keep that thing busy, i'm gonna try something stupid." said Maloran. Maloran jumped onto the creatures back and started stabbing the creature. Maloran continued to stab the creatures back, using different offensive magic as he did so. Maloran then stabbed the creature again, only used a Thundaga spell as he did so, causing the creature to start running around and trying to throw Maloran off. "Marina, i think i've weakened it enough, hit it with everything you got, i'll do the same....and you'd better do it fast, i don't know how long i can keep this up." said Maloran.

Alex approached one of the towers. Thanks to the Tyranny uniform they were given at the beginning of the mission, Alex didn't have much to worry about in terms of getting caught. In addition, it was less stress on his body, so that wasn't a bad thing either. He walked into the tower and strolled through the building. He eventually came to the designated point, and placed the bomb there. He whipped out his radio. "Hey guys, one of the bombs are planted. I'm just about to get out of the tower. So, how are things going on your end?" Alex began to head for the exit of the tower.
