The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR THE RPERS THAT WERE IN THE PAST RPS. THE TIME-GAP IS 10 YEARS.

 

Allright fellow RPers. Begin the RP!

Marina held the radio to her ear. "Not bad but we're still on it."Marina says. The creature roared and shook. Marina flipped back and stabbed at the creature and held on for dear life. She looked down at Maloran. "Good job Maloran,now hang onto your keyblade!"Marina says. She flipped foward and used Firaga towards it. A blast occured and it sent her flying a bit up. The creature roared through the raging flames that rose up. The heat was very well felt. Marina could already noticed the uniform was burnt because of the high degree. Marina smirked. "No worries Alex. We have this taken care of."Marina says as she grabbed her keyblade and it started to glow red as she fired up a firaga. She closed her eyes and she could only see the figure of the creature. She opened her eyes and pointed her keyblade down. "FIRAGA!!!!!!!!!!"Marina roared at the top of her lungs as a massive flamethrower came out from her keyblade and charged at the creature. The creature roared as flames engulfed what was left of it. Marina grunted and has her eyes squinted as the brightness of the fire was a bit blinding. She felt as the gloves were easily burning and disolving because of the keyblade's heat,burning part of her skin. The attack was killing it,but this also meant that it would attract somem attention on the way. "Ugh..."Marina says as she watched the creature roar as it slowly melted and turned into ashes while roaring.

Alex exited the tower, turning around and looking at it while walking backwards away from it. He held his radio. "Good to hear. If no one else is coming, I can head over to another tower, unless you want me back... also, if you hear an enormous explosion followed by the sound of a tower collapsing to the ground, it's safe to assume that it was me." Alex turned around and continued walking. Aaaaaaand 3... 2... 1... An enormous explosion blasted out from the building, as chunks of the tower shot out. Slowly, the tower came crumbling to the ground and collapsed. And boom goes the dynamite.

Marina finally stopped the attack as she fell down. She spun a few times and landed on her feet. She stabbed her keyblade down and hissed at herself as she looked down at her burnt,bleeding hands. She chuckled as she watched the creature melting and turning into ashes. "Keep going. We'll catch up in a moment."Marina says. She dismissed her keyblade and walked over to Maloran. "Great job kid."Marina says smiling. She then carefully got her hand in her pocket,even though it stung. She grabbed a green sphere. It was made out of cura leaves. She crushed it and the gooy liquid came out as she spread it around her hands. She bit her lip and looked at Maloran. "Hey Maloran,you happen to have some bandages?"Marina asks. She then turned to Leslie. "Leslie. Lets catch up before Tyranny get here in big numbers."Marina says as she could feel the cura sphere already helping her hands heal again.

Maloran came out of the ashes of the creature, as he was still on it during the fire attack, luckily he used a shield spell. "Ok, firstly, ya might wanna allow me to get off the thing next time, and secondly, the luck i have in fights, i never leave for a battle without bandages." said Maloran. Maloran took out a small pouch and threw it to Marina. "Make them last though, i have a limited supply of these things." said Maloran. Maloran then cast a cure spell on himself to heal his cuts, but after the spell stopped, Maloran collapsed to one knee, and one of the cuts on his arm and one on his chest were still there and starting to drip blood, and Maloran seemed really weakened.

Alex nodded. "Whatever you say. I'm on my way to the next tower now. Meet you there." Alex put his radio onto his belt and began walking to the next tower. Once he got there, his breathing spiked, and he leaned his head against the wall while simultaneously holding it, a buzzing in his head. Eventually his breathing went back to normal, though the buzzing in his head continued briefly. Eventually it faded, and Alex pushed himself off the wall. At this point, he was starting to wish he had accepted their offer to return home, but he was sticking this mission out until the end. Alex then walked into the 2nd tower.

Marina catched the bandages and smiled. "Sorry,couldn't warp up the energy any longer."Marina says. She wrapped the bandages around her burnt hands. She made a tight knot and moved her hands around a bit. She handed the bandages back to Maloran. "Thank you for the bandages. Now,we should get going before we encounter some Tyranny. We also need to catch up with Alex."Marina says. She watched at the melted...thing. "Well. Atleast we can add that to our bucket lists."Marina says as she thought for a while. "I hope Lambda's alright."Marina muttered to herself. She shook her head and turned towards Leslie and Maloran. "Right. Lets get moving."Marina says. She then turned and could her running footsteps from Tyranny coming this way. "Now."Marina says as the three ran off away from the site and up to catch up with Alex. "(If we don't encounter any more troubles along the way we should be able to finish this mission smoothly. Well,partially smoothly.)"Marina thinks as she radioed to Alex. "How are you holding up,Alex? We're on our way at this moment."Marina says as they ran.

Alex noticed his radio go off again. He picked it from his belt and answered it. "Eh, can't complain. All things considered, could be worse." Alex walked through the tower, starting to get another bomb ready. "I'm just about to get this second tower ready to go off sky high. Guess after this, we only need one or two more before we can go home." Alex kneeled down on the ground and placed the bomb down, arming it. He stood up again and began to make his way to the exit. "You know, Marina, that chicken soup of yours sounds really good right about now."

"Do you wish for me to go and acquire him now, sir?"

 

Nightmare paced back and forth, awaiting his orders from the officer. "No, don't do that. Your power is incredibly, but up against all of them, regardless of how weak Alex is, you could very well meet your end. We can't afford to lose you now." He looked Nightmare in the eyes. "You know where there base is, right?"

 

"Thanks to my connection to Alex, I do, sir."

 

The officer turned away from Nightmare.

 

"Wait for him at their base. Kill anyone who stands in your way... and break him."

Maloran was running next to Marina and also heard the footsteps of Tyranny soldiers behind them. Maloran was still a little weak from the amount of magic he used fighting that creature, but still had enough strength to keep up. Maloran then realized something, they were going to meet up with Alex, but if the Tyranny soldiers were close enough, they would find out what they were up to. Maloran then looked towards Marina. "Marina, if we find Alex and there's another of those things, i won't be able to help, but i can help here and now, after that last creature, my strength needs time to regenerate, but i'll be able to hold off the soldiers long enough for you guys, if i take them out, i'll meet you guys at the rendezvous point, if i can't take down all of them, find me and get me out, alive or not." said Maloran as he skidded to a halt and faced the other way.

(Bud, this is an undercover mission. The Tyranny wouldn't be trying to attack you.)

(Remember Keyblade,we're all in uniform disguises.)

 

Marina turned to Maloran and noded. "Keep them distracted,make stuff up and meet us at the last tower as soon as you can. I'll messege you if something happens. Stall them."Marina says to Maloran as she ran off. She then heard Alex and chuckled a bit. "I'll make enough for all of us when we get home. We'll meet ya at the last tower. We can already see it from here."Marina says as she hurried over with the rest. Then for a second she thought for a curious someone. "(I hope Lambda is alright.)"Marina thinks.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Lambda walked around the base and opened the door to the small lab. She looked around. "Puppy?"Lambda asks. She then noticed the cybernetic puppy just sitting there infront of the table staring at the crystals. Lambda walked over to the puppy and then looked up. "Huh?"Lambda asks. She climbed over the chair and stood up,staring at the two halves of crystal that layed on the table. She stared at it. "It's glowing."Lambda says. The puppy stared and lowered its ears. Lambda looked at all the scrap metal that was around at the table. "Mess."Lambda says. She then looked down at a paper. It was a desighn Marina had layed out. Gloves,made out of metal and the pieces of crystal that layed on the table. Lambda stared down at it and then picked up the fire equipment. The puppy tilted its head. Lambda turned it on and the puppy whimpered as it hid under the table.

Alex smiled as he walked out of the tower. "Make sure there's enough room for seconds, Marina. I'm just about done with this one, I'll see you in a bit." Alex put his radio in his pocket and walked out of the tower. After going to a safe distance, Alex stopped moving and turned around. He put his hands in his pockets and watched as fire burst out of the tower. The base began to lose stability and began to crumble. Within a minute, the tower had come crashing to the ground. He smirked. Well, if they had any trouble when trying to look for me... that should give them a hint.

Marina looked back at Maloran and ran off with Leslie. "Hope he doesn't get discovered."Marina mutters as she turned and kept running. They then noticed the tower exploding. "There he is."Marina says. Leslie and Marina ran over to where the tower had exploded and soon enough got to the area. Alex stood there as the tower was in flames and falling appart. Marina smiled and hurried over. "Great job Alex. Maloran has decided to stall a few guards coming on the way. Lets get that last tower."Marina says with a smile. She looked over at him for a bit and then got her hands in her pockets,looking for warmth to her burnt hands. "One more tower before going home,and I built and appetite. I'll get extra noodles in the soup this time. Some spice too. It'll taste nice."Marina says with a big grin and a chuckle.

(TSFH? Yes please.)

 

Alex turned and saw Marina and Leslie coming closer to him. "Why hello there, guys. Figured it wouldn't be fair to have most of the fireworks to myself." He then raised his eyebrows. "Wait, Maloran stayed behind? Well, hope he knows what he's doing..." He then noticed Marina's burnt hands slipping into her pockets, searching for warmth in his hands. He walked over to her, and held her hands in his, giving them some warmth. He noticed Marina's cheeks turn slightly red. "So, shall we get this last tower done? That soup sounds more appetizing every second."

Marina blushed slightly redish pink and looked at Alex. She noded and smiled. "Right. Lets get going to the last tower!"Marina says. She turned and pointed upwards a bit towards north. "Over there. The last tower is located right in the middle of what was once a residential area in Twilight Town. Hopefully there won't be any guards there and we won't cause any suspicion if there are any."Marina says as she blushed as she looked down at Alex's hand. She then radioed Maloran. "Maloran,stall the soldiers,as soon as you see the last tower explode,meet us at the Twilight Town Clock Tower ruins ASAP."Marina says. She looked at the two and smiled as she gave thumbs up. "Lets go!"Marina says. With that she started to hurry,still holding Alex's hand,towards the last tower,Leslie following closely behind. Soon enough the three reached to the solitary,dry area where the last tower was located. They hid behind a few broken walls. Marina closed her eyes and everything went dark as she could see the huge blue tower from her vision. Around it a few soldiers taking guard of it. Marina opened her eyes and looked upward a bit. "There are a few soldiers taking guard. Not many,we can take them I think."Marina whispered as she stared.

Alex looked at Marina as she told the group that there were guards around the tower. He sighed. "Well, I guess things HAVE been going too easily for us so far... that giant random filler monster aside." Alex looked at the tower. He wanted to get this mission done as soon as possible. "We could always split, have a couple of us take care of the guards standing watch around the tower while someone goes in to arm the bomb. Or we could try some stealth. After all, we have uniforms, so we'll be the ones starting the fighting if anything happens." Alex and Marina's hands were still holding each other. He looked down at it, back at Marina, and shrugged. "Whatever you think is best, honestly. Whatever gets us home faster is fine for me."

Marina smirked and looked up at Alex and noded. "Me and Leslie will take care of the guards. Go ahead and get the bomb setted up. These guys are easy."Marina says. She letted go of Alex and she noded at Leslie. The two stood up and walked up at the guards. Marina got ready to summon her keyblade. "Escuse us. But we have something important from higher ups."Marina says. The soldiers looked at eachother and then turned to the two. "What's up?"The soldier asks. "Well..."Marina says. She suddenly summoned her keyblade and pointed at them. "Blizzaga."Marina says as she sent a freezing blizzard towards the soldiers by surprise. Marina smirked as the soldiers couldn't fight back and were frozen alive. Marina chuckled and ran to them and crushed the frozen bodies into pieces. She turned to Alex. "Get this thing blowing and lets get going home."Marina says smiling.

Alex raised an eyebrow as Marina froze and crushed a few of the soldiers. Well played. He smirked and nodded. "Your wish is my command." Alex turned and ran into the tower. He rose up through the levels, trying to get to where the weak point was. A soldier came down with a rifle pointed at Alex as he rose up the stairs, and Alex promptly smashed his head into the railing of the stairs beside him. Alex reached the area and pulled out the bomb, placing it and arming it. "Alright, this baby is armed and ready to go. Deal with those guys and try to get some distance from the tower, if possible. I'll be right out." Alex then began descending the staircase.

Marina noded. "Alright."Marina says. She saw some soldiers run straight at her. Marina spun her keyblade and firaga sorrounded her as it bursted out of her flames and attacked the soldiers. Marina stopped and blocked an attack with her blade. She used firaga and burnt the guy's head off. She blocked another attack as one of the soldiers grabbed a bunch of dirty from the ground and threw it towards Marina. Marina covered her face but some dirt got her eyes. She growled and jumped back as she got dirt in her eyes. She rubbed her eyes trying to get some of it off when one of the soldiers slashed her leg. Marina fell on one knee and looked up with her eyes closed. She could still partially see thanks to her aura vision. She saw the blue figures attack straight at her. She blocked and countered their attacks as she uused aeroga and sent them all back flying. She then slammed her blade on the ground and sent fire towards the enemies.

Alex saw the exit of the tower in front of him, and two guards standing in the way. Alex ran at them and elbowed one in the face, and drawing his Keyblade, smashed the other in the face with the hilt of his weapon. There was only about a minute or two left before the bomb would go off, and he saw the others out by the tower, still fighting. They're too close... Alex exited the tower, seeing Marina on the ground on one knee. He ran over to her. "Heal!" Alex casted a cure spell on her. He then looked at the other soldiers, and his eyes began to glow blue. He shot a beam of light in the air, and swung his Keyblade down, bringing beams of light crashing down to the ground, blocking off the soldiers. He looked at the others. "We have to get some distance between us and that tower!"

Marina slammed her keyblade down on a soldier's head as she stood up. She kept her eyes closed still as she turned to Alex. "On it!"Marina says. She looked around deep in her pockets and took out a Pacnea. She crushed it and the dust started to glow,this would give her more magic power. She grabbed her keyblade tight and rose it. "Magnera!"Marina says as she concentrated and used the Magnera spell to lift her,Alex and Leslie from the ground. She kept her eyes closed as she moved her keyblade and moved them far from the tower as fast as she could. Soon enough. The tower went off in a huge explotion. The force knocked Marina and the rest of balance sending him flying back and down into the trees. Marina spun and landed on a few branches and then down onto the ground. Marina turned and stared at the tower's direction to sense a very bright blue flame as the tower burnt down in pieces. Marina smiled. "Great job,Alex. Now,lets go home."Marina says. She radioed Maloran. "Maloran,we're heading back to base."Marina says as she stood up.

Alex hit the ground near the trees when the force of the explosion threw Marina's magnet spell off balance. He slowly picked himself up, trying to mask the effort it took for him to do so. He then turned to Marina and smiled. "I like the way you think. Let's go back to base." Alex then picked up his own radio and contacted Maloran. "You heard her, bud. Get yourself out of there, we're going back." He then put his radio away. Night was starting to fall, the sky growing darker. He tossed his Keyblade and transformed it into it's Rider form. He looked over at Marina. "Shall we?" The way things went today, Alex had almost forgotten about Nightmare.

Marina rubbed the dirt off her eyes and opened them. She turned to Alex and noded. "Yes."Marina says. She summoned her glider and got on. She looked back at Leslie and back at Alex. "I hope Maloran catches up. I'm sooooo hunrgy!"Marina says. She reved up her glider and rode off along with Leslie and Alex,leaving the tyranny to deal with their precious towers burnt to ashes and crisp. Today's mission was long but worth. Marian just wanted to eat a good bowl of soup,take a shower and sleep,just to work on the weapon and crystals afterwards. It took them a few moments as their gliders did went full speed. They entered into the base through the hidden entrance and were soon in the vehicle area. Marina got off her glider and dismissed it as she rubbed the back of her head. "Man what a mission."Marina says. She then saw the door open as Lambda came running in from inside. "Marina,Alex!"Lambda says. Marina smiled and laughed a bit. "Lambda."Marina says as she picked her up. "Were you good?"Marina asks. Lambda noded. Marina smiles. "That's great. How about some soupvthen? I'm gonna make enough for everyone."Marina says. Lambda then noded wanted to try the soup.

Alex laughed slightly as Lambda embraced Marina. He was in a pretty good mood at the moment. The others had gone inside at this point. "Can't wait. You may not know this, Lambda, but Marina is a really, really good cook." Lambda smiled and nodded quickly. "Besides, with your soup, that should give me a couple days worth of energy."

 

"A false hope, Mr. Roberts..."

 

Alex's body tensed. He knew that voice. It was one he could never dream of forgetting. He slowly turned around and saw a face he had grown to despise. Despite the fact that it was night, the glowing gold eyes made it clear who it was. Nightmare.

 

"...for today will be your last day."

 

Alex's eyes narrowed, taking a few steps forward, slowly approaching Nightmare, the man still quite a distance away. He talked to Marina, saying something he knew she'd object to immediately. "Marina... take Lambda and go inside. Don't let anyone come out."

Marina stared as she held Lambda. "Alex,I won't leave you to fight him alone."Marina says. Lambda stared. She saw Nightmare's glowing eyes as she instantly had shivers go down her spine. Marina held Lambda tightly and set her down. She rubbed her cheek. "Go to your room Lambda,we'll be with you soon. I promise."Marina says. Lambda couldn't take her eyes off Nightmare. Marina turned and stood besides Alex,slightly behind. "I won't let you fight him alone,you're in no condition,especially after a full-on mission. I'm staying."Marina says. Lambda stared. She was pretty much frozen as she backed away to the door and noticed it has closed and was locked for the moment. "Uh oh."Lambda says as she backed against the wall. Marina summoned her keyblade and extended her arm. She had coal and dirty all over her clothes from the mission,and tiredness was hidden by anger in her eyes. "I don't care what you say. I'm staying. I won't let you fight this guy alone..."Marina says with slight worry in her voice.

Alex didn't take his eyes off of Nightmare, still walking slowly towards the being that he hated the sight of. "Marina, he doesn't care about you, or Lambda, or anyone else in that building. He only wants me, and me alone. This guy is insanely strong. If you stay... I've lost enough family and friends because of my mistakes. I won't let anyone else get hurt or die because of me. Especially not you." He stopped walking forward. He was in no condition to fight, both of them knew that. But Alex knew that if he tried to escape or hide, there was no telling what Nightmare would do to hunt him. "Marina, I promised you that I would be by your side in the end, when this war finally comes to a close. I'm not going to break that promise." As Marina was about to respond, Alex turned and grabbed her hand. Despite the situation, his grip was gentle and his voice calm. He held their hands close to his heart. "Do you trust me?"
