The Lost Sequel of the Civil War

 

Storyline:

It's been years since the final movement of the Civil War of the KWU VS WPA was set,by killing off their last leader and solid rock. For at the very least 3 years,peace thrived,until a new force of tyranny started to rise again. This force was stronger,smarter,with a better plan. A team went in and tried to finish them off,but with the mission gone wrong from start to end,this new force took over the worlds completetly. For around 5 years this force of tyranny has ruled. The worlds are in deseperate need. People everywhere dying of hunger. Many struggleling to survive from desies. The worlds have lost their beauty and streanght. Those who go against this tyranny are either sentenced to death or set to eternal slavery. Many people are afraid to fight back. But there are many,keyblade wielders and non-keyblade wielders,who are ready to fight. Either join with the Resistance,or help out the tyranny. There is only one thing in everyone's minds.

This tyranny needs to end.

And it needs to end now.

TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR THE RPERS THAT WERE IN THE PAST RPS. THE TIME-GAP IS 10 YEARS.

 

Allright fellow RPers. Begin the RP!

Alex's mother lunged at him with incredible speed, knocking Alex to the ground. She pinned him with one arm, and raised her blade with the other. Alex reacted quickly, though, and kicked her off of him, sending her flying back. Alex quickly got up and began attacking quickly and relentlessly. Punches, kicks, quick slashes, Alex used a barrage of moves on her, then proceeded to kick her to the ground. Alex took the opportunity to run up to her and raise his Keyblade for the finishing strike.

 

But he couldn't do it.

 

Alex knew in his mind that this is an illusion. A test created by Nightmare to break his spirit and the only way to pass was to destroy her. But no matter what he knew was true, his heart refused to let him do it. This wasn't a monster, it was his mother, and he could never do anything to hurt, let alone kill her. Alex slowly lowered his arm, and dropped his Keyblade. "...I can't."

 

His mother took the opportunity to raise her Keyblade and shoot a blast of black fire at Alex. It struck him directly and sent him flying to the ground in pain. She got up and sprinted at him, jumping in the air with her Keyblade raised. Alex closed his eyes, preparing for the end. But it never came. He opened his eyes, and he was back in the Station of Awakening. He looked around, and saw that the darkness around the tower seemed stronger, closer than before. His heart was pounding, and it felt like it was hurting. No matter what his mind told him, his heart told him he had just nearly killed his mom. Alex was on his hands and knees, breathing heavily.

 

"You decieve yourself, Mr. Roberts. You have not moved on, you have pushed your fears into the deepest part of your heart. When you do this, it is assured that it will one day resurface. As you will learn." The environment around Alex began shifting again.

Altair seemed to chuckle. "I taught Lambda the basics of life. Our leanguadge,math,all. Whatever she does that seems advanced is nothing but pure instinct of her programing. Which will explain her curiosity. The more I watched her learn the more I realized that this project would change the worlds. No one would have to fear of being invaded by a stronger force. One army to help and protect all of the nearby worlds,all to live in harmony. But as expected,I don't think my superiors will think the same. I have recorded this to let you know about Lambda,and the future army of my creation. The location of this would be in Ephinea. A wasteland world where only we if the department stand there to research. Please...take care of Lambda. Let her not fall into the wrong hands. If re-programmed. She would only be the leader of the army that awaits."Altair says. With that he bowed and the hologram changed into a whole other scenary. It now showed what seemed to be a recording. It showed Lambda and Altair watching over a balcony as hundreds of humanoids were being produced. "See Lambda? Soon they'll be enough to protect the worlds."Altair says. Lambda stared. They heard footsteps as Altair turned and saw a woman in a wheelchair with green hair roll in. "I see you are enjoying the creations,Mr.Tenebris."The woman says. "Yes,indeed. I was showing it to Lambda. Soon she will have brothers and sisters to play with."Altair says as he rubbed Lambda's head. "Now Mr.Tenebris. I must remind you that these are not toys,they are soldiers of the highest quality."The woman says. "Indeed. But just the thought makes me excited. Lambda is learning so much. You know what she does by instinct,imagene what she can do by actually learning about it."Altair says. "I guess it would be,interesting to see such progress. However,we do not have the time for it."The woman in green says. "Of course we do. You can send this soldiers out,and in a few years Lambda will be ready to-" "Eactly what I mean. We do not have years to spare having her to do nothing productive. She can already do so much. All she needs is...instructions."The woman says. Altair stared. "What do you mean?"Altair says. "Mr.Tenebris. You have created a perfect recepie for perfect weapons. Why waste it in such foolish goals as 'peace'?! When we can use it for better use,like 'power'."The woman says. Altair's eyes narrowed. "I created these to help the worlds gain balance,to not be afraid of being taken over by another more powerful than them-" "That is to late,can you not see that the worlds are pretty much in ruins?!" "That is why I created them,to kicked those who reek of power out!" "You are becoming foolish,Mr.Tenebris. Now come to your senses. It has been years since you have been with the orginal Proto Heis,from the start of her creation. I came here to ask for her."The woman says as she extended her arm. Altair stepped foward. "What do you wish with Lambda?"Altair asks. "Pretty simple. I have convinced our superiors to lend us more munny,enough to create a remote control for her. That way we can easily control her after you have made her so independant."The woman says. Altair gulped. "I must say I refuse to follow those orders. Lambda is no longer just a protocal. She's a reasonable,living,being."Altair says. The woman stared. "You have gone insane!" "No,I WAS insane until I finally realized what I had been doing. I thought I could reverse it but it seems its not this way. I was right,so **** off,I won't let you touch her!"Altair yelled. "If you insist,GUARDS!"The woman yells as two completed humanoids walked up to her side,ready to fight. "Cease him,and take the girl!"The woman says. The humanoids attacked. Altair quickly pulled up two guns and shot at them. Beams came out of them and they went through them,stopping them for a few seconds. He grabbed Lambda and ran off. The woman stared angry. "Don't just stand there,GET THEM! Don't let them get out of this world!"The woman yells as the humanoids quickly followed attacking. Altair ran fast with Lambda towards the launching area. He entered a code and the ship opened its doors. He setted Lambda down. "Lambda,quickly,go inside."Altair says. Lambda ran inside the ship as he hurried and entered a bunch of codes into it. He turned and saw the humanoids chase after him along with the woman. Altair shot the control pannel,causing it to explode as he ran towards the ship,as the door of it closed. "NO! Shoot them!"The woman says as the humanoids quickly started to shoot towards the ship. As Altair entered one got to shoot him on the back. Altair fell down as the ship closed. Lambda hurried to him. "Father!"Lambda says as the ship activated and quickly took off in a flare of blue flames and sparkles. The woman screamed in frustruation. Altair grunted and held his side as it bleeded. He looked up. "Lambda..." They were now many worlds away. Altair tried to reach the control but couldn't. Just then they entered into a meteorite storm. Meteorites crashed against the ship,causing it to maulfunction heavily. The ship started to fall within a few minutes of the storm,heading straight down. Altair held on for dear life and looked at Lambda. "Remember Lambda,the code for Heis Mode is Protocol Heis,Memories. This will give you the chance to change the world,in the most amazing way. Remember my dear,they may be based off you,but they will never reach your standards...you're one of a kind."Altair says as he hugged Lambda. Lambda's eyes widened as the ship crashed down into the wasteland. About 26 minutes into the crash a green sphere floating out of the crash site,Lambda,as she had instinctly activated one of her defense mechanisms. She slowly landed on the floor besides of the burning site. The sphere dissapeared and she stared at the site in dispair,and confusion. "Father!!!!!!!!!" Lambda's voice echoed through the Keyblade Graveyard's wasteland. The hologram finally ended as it dissapeared and Lambda's headphones returned to normal. Lambda seemed to look sad of the reminder of her creator as Marina still had her jaw dropped of what she had just witnessed.

"Now, the morals you have used to spare the lives of enemies, cost the life of an ally. You may have played it off, but deep in your heart, there has not been a moment where you had not regretted what happened, wishing that you could change the past."

 

Alex looked around. He was now on a rooftop. He looked around, trying to piece together what Nightmare was showing him now, when he noticed he was holding something. A sniper rifle.

 

"...oh no..."

 

Alex looked through the scope of the rifle and saw Stahl, alive and well, giving a speech to an impatient crowd. Up there with him was Kazaac, Alex's partner for this mission. Alex's refusal to kill Stahl led to Kazaac's execution. Alex quickly pieced together what Nightmare wanted him to do. He didn't like it.

 

"Here is your opportunity for redemption, Mr. Roberts. Take a life, to save a life. Can you find it in your heart to do this?"

(Alessa's pov)

 

Things were running smoothly so far, The Crystal started to crack bit by bit as we were already outside the building. Time started to move back to normal as everyone was started to move bit by bit. we then both summoned our riders and got out of the worlds atmosphere before the Crystal broke into a million pieces of shiny dust. "Easy come, Easy go." Nuri said through her Gold and Varying tones of Silver Armor. I chuckled. "That was a piece of cake, Can't wait to see the look of Mom's Face when she sees this." I smiled. "You're Loosing up a bit. Thats great." Nuri said. "Well, I guess I'm tired of being uptight MOST of the time." I said, nuri nodded. "most of the time..." Nuri murmured. The Handful of Agents soon joined us and were not too far behind, eventually we arrived at the base.

 

(Niex's Wife Pov)

 

"What the Hell?" I found myself alone in a dark creepy Maze, I walked around for about an hour. I couldn't find a soul. "HELLLLOOOOOOO????" My voice echoed for about 5 minutes, I could only see within a 3 foot radius because the area was covered in a black fog. 'I hope lightning and the gang are ok...' I then felt my foot sink to the floor a bit, then Arrows came from both sides of the narrow corridor and I blocked them all. "Whew! gotta be more careful...wait. why am I talking to myself...?"

Marina stared,analizing. She then looked down at Lambda. "So...this would explain a few things."Marina muttered. Lambda smiled as Marina setted her down. Marina got her hand to her head. "So now not only do we have this Tyranny itself as a problem. On the side there is an ARMY of Humanoids ready to be set loose on the worlds,and that's the least of our troubles."Marina says as she glanced Hero's crest for a second as it was still stabbed onto the table. Marina looked upfront and growled herself. She then started to rub her head really fast with both heads. "This is stressing me out so damn much!"Marina says. She then looked up and down at Lambda. Lambda stared around as she seemed still full of energy. "Well,atleast I can remember that code in any case."Marina says as she scratched her head and looked back at Niex. "This is crazy. But we will have to deal with it."Marina says. She thought for a bit and turned to Lambda. "But first. I want to understand Lambda a bit more..."Marina says,now extremely interested in a machinary type of way. But still worried for her. She grabbed Hero's crest and unstabbed it. She turned to Niex again. "I'm going to exmine Lambda if you don't mind."Marina says as she grabbed Lambda away and walked away with her.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Blue eyes glew in the darkness of the wasteland. Running footsteps could be heard as the silent of night crept its toll. The sky had lost its shine. So dull and cloudy. He stopped instantly and looked up to see one small hole within the clouds,showing a bit of the beautiful night sky which they hid. He stared as his blue eyes glew. "...there are less than last time..." With that he turned foward and continued to run.

Alex looked at the rifle in his hands, and pressed his forehead against it. Nightmare was telling him to save Kazaac by killing Stahl. Correct the mistake he made years ago, but sacrifice the morals he has stood for his entire life. This was a lose-lose scenario, and Alex knew it. Nightmare had him trapped. "Okay Alex... it's just an illusion... Nightmare is messing with your head..." Alex lied against the roof and looked through the scope of the rifle, the reticule aimed at Stahl's head as he addressed the masses in front of him. All it would take was a pull of the trigger.

 

He couldn't. It wasn't his mind Nightmare was toying with: it was his heart. In Alex's heart, he felt as though he was either going to murder someone or let someone die, no matter what his mind told him otherwise. He couldn't shake the feeling, no matter how hard he tried. All he could do was throw the rifle to the ground and smash his fist against the roof in frustration as he heard the sound of a gunshot, and Kazaac's body hitting the ground. The area shifted again, and he was back in the Station of Awakening, the darkness looming ever closer to the platform. Alex felt weaker. His chest was hurting, his emotions were a wreck, Nightmare was taking his toll on Alex.

 

"Your heart approaches its limit, Mr. Roberts. You failed your mother by being born. You failed Kazaac because of your morals. Now there is another you WILL fail, because you were foolish enough to care about her."

 

Alex looked up, around the darkness. "No... don't bring her into this..."

 

"You have brought her into this, Alex. From the moment your feelings for her began, she was pulled in with no escape. Now you will see what awaits her..."

 

The environment shifted again.

Marina entered into her small lab. Marina closed the door. "We're going to play some games,Lambda."Marina says as she setted Hero's Crest on a table. She turned to Lambda. "You know how to fight,Lambda?"Marina asks. Lambda looked up. "Fight?"Lambda asks. Marina noded. "To defend yourself."Marina says. Lambda shrugged. Marina then,without warning,threw a red sphere towards Lambda. Lambda stared and a green sphere instantly covered her seconds before an explotion covered her. The smoke cleared and Lambda stood there protected. The sphere dissapeared. Marina noded. "He said you had instincts. But I need to show you incase you have no choice."Marina says as she walked around a bit. She summoned her keyblade and pointed at Lambda. "Teach me what you know. You win,we play a game of choice. You loose,we do math homework."Marina says. Lambda stared. She looked into Marina's eyes. So many emotions she could sense,some she didn't even understood yet. Lambda gulped and noded. Marina threw her keyblade. Lambda moved her hands and green crystals appeared around her as she blocked the keyblade's attack. The keyblade returned to Marina. Marina charged towards Lambda. Who turned her hands into a cannon beam and shot at her. Marina blocked and smoke covered the area.

Alex looked around. Everything was pitch black, he couldn't see a thing. He drew his Keyblade, a bit of light shining off of it. Suddenly, a light appeared far away from him. Assuming that's where he had to go, Alex began to run towards it. It looked as if there was a pillar of some kind standing in the light, and someone was strapped to it. Alex began running faster, trying to see who it was. As the person came into focus, Alex's heart stopped.

 

It was Marina. Bleeding, broken, barely breathing. Alex's fists clenched.

 

"Tell me, Mr. Roberts. Do you care about her?"

 

Alex looked up. "Why should I tell you anything?"

 

"You do not need to say anything, I know the answer. I just want to know how much you care about her before I choke the life out of her. Do you care about her?"

 

Alex didn't answer. His knuckles were turning white.

 

"You will watch as she fights to save you, as she fails, as she is tortured. You will hear her cries of pain as she asks for it to stop. And you will know her death was your doing, and your heart will break. Do you care about her?"

 

"IF YOU HURT HER, THERE WON'T BE A PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE YOU CAN HIDE FROM ME!!!!!!!!"

 

Nightmare was silent. "There is the answer." Suddenly, creatures began appearing out of nowhere. Alex immediately recognized them. Angels.

 

"Now you will see your greatest failure: that even now, you are powerless to stop what is to come."

Marina watched as Lambda attacked towards her with blades coming out of her arms. Marina blocked with her keyblades. Bearly taking a few steps as she blocked every attack. "You're fast. That is a good thing. For being created you're pretty light. That gives you an advantedge."Marina says as she dodged and attack and looked over at Lambda. "I thought you were only human. But this only demonstrates that you're more skilled than before. Show me more Lambda."Marina says as she backed away. Lambda's blades glew. She started to spin and some blades of light were sent towards her. Marina blocked around and one hit her on the stomach. It didn't do any harsh damage but it did sent her flying against the wall. Marina quickly charged towards Lambda and brought her keyblade down onto Lambda. Lambda blocked and sent sonic waves towards Marina as she roared. Marina jumped back and landed on her feet as she used Thundaga. Lambda used her own lightning towards Marina. The lightnings clashed as the two stared at eachother. Marina stared and smiled. "Alex is gonna be proud when he sees you being so strong.."Marina says. Lambda smiled while Marina couldn't take her mind of him..

The angels began to walk towards her, letting out their screeches. Alex charged at one, enraged. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" Alex swung his Keyblade, but it phased through the angel, and it vanished. Wait, what? Alex then saw two more angels appear to replace it. Alex then realized what this was: another no win scenario. The harder he fought, the more hopeless the situation would become. His mind told him that fighting was pointless, to just drop his sword. But his heart refused. To his heart, Marina was there. In the flesh. And she needed Alex's help. So Alex continued fighting, every fallen angel spawning two more. Soon, hundreds and hundreds of angels were around, all walking towards Marina. Alex made one last charge, but was knocked back by an angel. He then watched as one of the monsters raised a claw at Marina.

 

"STOP, NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

Then Alex was back in the Station of Awakening. He looked around.

 

"The fastest way to break a man is to show what he loves most being destroyed, and him powerless to stop it. However, once is not enough. He must see this again. And again. And again."

 

"No..."

 

Then the darkness was back. The angels returned. Marina's broken body hung in the balance. And Alex couldn't stop himself from fighting.

Marina spun as Lambda sent crystal daggers towards Marina. Marina jumped back and pointed her keyblade at Lambda as she sent aeroga. Lambda spun and split the aeroga away from her. Lambda then rushed straight at Marina and her eyes seemed to glow a bit. She pointed her finger at her. "Boom."Lambda says as she sent this beam straight towards Marina. Marina bearly dodged as the beam blew the door and some of the wall off into pieces. Marina stared and looked back up sharply at Lambda. Lambda lowered her hand and got her blades out again as she attacked straight foward. Marina looked up at Lambda and her eyes seemed to have a special madness in them. She letted out a big,loud,roar. The ground shook and Lambda stopped on her tracks as Marina breathed a bit heavily. She then gasped and covered her mouth slightly. "Oh...my...escuse me."Marina says,confused. She had never ever done that before. This was new. "How strange..."Marina says. Lambda took this oportunidy and attacked at Marina again. Marina spun and slammed her keyblade against Lambda's blade and sent her back. "(Alex,please,please be alright.)"

Alex fought as hard as he could, but he failed every time. Every time, Marina would die. Then Nightmare would begin the illusion again. Every time, Alex lasted slightly less time before giving in. Every time, the darkness loomed closer, and the pain became more real. Alex lost track of how many times he had seen her die. But suddenly, he felt he couldn't do it anymore. As the angels closed in on Marina once again, Alex fell to his knees, and dropped his Keyblade. "Stop.... please..." Alex's knees curled to his head, and his arms wrapped around his legs. "I can't take it anymore..." Tears began to fall. The darkness grew closer and closer, and his skin felt colder and colder.

 

"...your suffering has not yet ended, Mr. Roberts. I have a promise to keep that I made to you."

(Leslie's pov)

 

we watched Marina let out that huge roar. Alessa and I jumped back as the ground shook. Everyone on the base ran to see what was the fuss all about. "Oh...my... excuse me."Marina said,confused. everyone looked at her in shock as Lambada took that as an opportunity. 'What the Hell was THAT?' Nuri and Niex were surprised as well then they glanced at each other. Everyone in the base slowly went back to what they were doing, but there was an atmosphere of cautiousness and strange wonder. "Mom, What was THAT all about?" Alessa asked me. "not sure..." I said with uncertainty. funny thing about that moment when she roared...her face, she almost looked like a totally different person for a mere second, I don't know it was Probably the Given Nature of what led up to that roar. It was something I couldn't exactly put my finger on...Alessa Calmly watched as she reviewed the Intel she brought back. "I'm glad that you're ok." I changed the subject. "yeah...what happened to alex?" She asked me with a sort of meek tone. I sighed sharply. "Some things are happening to Alex right now, we can't do much except hope." I said sadly. "...that bad?" She said. "yeah, VERY bad...Don't bug your Aunt Marina about it, she's taking it hard..." I said. Alessa nodded and went back reviewing Intel she and Nuri received. My Little girl grown up, and fighting alongside us. I wish that we could have squashed the tyranny before she was born...then she wouldn't have to live the way that she has had lived now...

 

(General Highwind's pov)

 

"It's GONE!" a scientist yelled. "and the prototype ..its dead!" another yelled. I perked up, I got up from my chair and looked at the table and the computer. The presentation was gone, so were key documents, and the prototype...It wouldnt turn on or anything. everyone in the meeting started to talk. A Droid Surveillance guard came bursting into the meeting. "CAMERA'S...DROID'S...ALL SERV-SERVERS ARE DEAD." he panted. "We've been breached!" I heard a scientist say, I looked at the computer and on the screen had a moving image:

 

I began to feel enraged. "SEARCH THE PREMISES TO TOP TO BOTTOM!" I Yelled as loud as I could, I ran to my desk and I punched the wall, I left a large hole. My heart was pounding in my chest, Balthazar began to pour tea. I sat on my chair and head my head against my marble desk. 'Things are falling apart and there's nothing I can do! The data is went missing, the prototype died, and the best one was GONE.' balthazar, just placed my cup of tea on my desk. "...want me to get the rest of the reports, sir?" Balthazar said, I rubbed my forehead and temples. "yes, please do." I said bitterly, he bowed and let me be. 'The Rebels are behind this..I KNOW it, how are they are able to pull such a bold move?! no matter what they have, they cannot defeat my army...better yet..' I pushed my intercom button and dialed the extension to the Practical Science facility. "Please Enact Project Plan: Revelation..." I said, the scientist on the other line was silent for about 10 whole seconds. "well?!" I said angrily. "......Yes...General...." The Scientist said, then I hung up the call. 'Now then, hundreds of them will now be produced by the hour...then we are going to attack suspected Rebel Territory with full force. It doesn't matter what gets destroyed, I want. them. dead. NOW.'

 

(Niex's wife pov)

 

After bumping into various boobytraps and been bombarded with ambushes of your standard heartless, and nobodies, I grew tired and I sat down on the ground just for a sec. I then felt something hit my head. "OW!" I said, My voice echoed again. then hope emerged from the black fog. "I'm glad to bump into you, didn't find lightning and the others too huh?" hope said. "yep, just you and me bud..." I said. "where ARE we?" he asked. "don't have a clue...as old as I am I have Never been here before." I said. "How old ARE you?" hope said. "lost count after 4,121..." I said, he looked at me as if i were cracking a joke then he observed my face and surprised to see that I was dead serious. then we heard a creepy laugh come from north of us. '0.o'

Marina covered her mouth a bit still. "(What was that...?!)"Marina thinks. She turned to Lambda and lowered her keyblade. "Lamnda,um,lets stop for here. I think we should rest incase something happens."Marina says as she rubbed the back of her neck. Lambda noded. Marina felt her lips a bit. She was startled. She didn't felt like herself for a moment when she roared. She digressed and turned to Leslie. "Hey Leslie."Marina says smiling a bit. She then turned back to Lambda who ran up to Leslie and hugged her leg. Marina smiled. She looked up,a fake smile hiding her concern. "I think,we are ready."Marina says. She saw Leslie look up. "We are ready,to end this. We have to rescue Alex,and with it,we need to destroy the Tyranny once and for all. We can even take care of that humanoid factory or whatever. But we have to act now."Marina says as she grabbed Hero's crest and held it tight. "(It looks fragile.)"Marina thinks. She looked back at Leslie as Lambda as she hugged her leg. "She likes you."Marina says. She looks up as she gripped Hero's Crest. "I think I'm ready to give it all or nothing to fight in this one fight."Marina says as she thought about it. The tyranny,helping Alex,the humanoid army...all odds couldn't ever be more against them than now. But,it was pretty much the only choice,out of few. "I...I just want to end this life of war already..."Marina says as she held Hero's Crest.

"Alex is nearly broken, sir. The process has gone very smoothly."

 

"And you believe your plan can work?"

 

"If it does, then our forces will only be stronger, sir."

 

"Then do as you see fit, Nightmare."

As Marina stood, holding the Hero's Crest, a voice suddenly rang in her head. A familiar, upbeat voice.

 

Hey, you there? It's Alex. Sooo... don't exactly know what's going on here, but I guess Nightmare is letting me communicate with you or something? I know it's cliche, but hey, there've been enough cliches in this RP series to excuse this one. So I want to talk to you about something, but it's a bit more private, so would you mind going somewhere more private? Besides, talking to someone who isn't there might make everyone thinkk you've gone crazy.

Marina looked up. She looked down at Hero's Crest. Alex. Marina looked over at Lambda. "Lambda,I need to be escused for a moment. Don't cause any trouble. You can show Leslie what you can do if you wish."Marina says. She looked up at Leslie,a glimpse of hope in her eyes. Though it was very little and dim. "Escuse me,Leslie."Marina says as she walked away. Lambda stared and looked up at Leslie. She turned her arm into a beam cannon and pointed at the wall. "Aunt Leslie,look what I can do!"Lambda says as she shot and a beam went straight through the wall,insenirating it in the shape of a perfect circle. Smoke could be seen coming out from it. Marina hurried back to her room. She closed the door and locked it. She walked over to the bed and satted down,holding the keyblade close. "Alex,are you alright?! Where have they taken you?! Look,we're going to help you get out soon,please do hang on,how are you?!"Marina asks,frantic a bit,but very happy to hear him.

Eh, could be worse, all things given. But here's the thing: I'm kinda limited on what I can say. All I can really say is...

 

Alex's voice suddenly became twisted and distorted. Marina no longer heard it in her head... she heard it behind her. His voice had shifted completely; into a deep, emotionless voice.

 

"...your love for him makes you an easy person to fool."

 

Marina turned and saw Nightmare, standing in her room, his gold eyes gazing at her. Before she could react, he was speaking. "Please know that I am always in contact with Alex's heart. Should you think about drawing a weapon or bringing me harm, I will crush his mind before you have the opportunity to think of begging me not to." Nightmare placed his hands behind his back. "Do you understand this?"

Marina immidietly got on her feet and took a step back. She held Hero's Crest tightly. "You bastard..."Marina muttered. He tricked her,and appeared out of the blue. Marina couldn't even sense him until he spoke. She rose Hero's Crest an inch when she thought of what he said. She gritted her teeth and started to growl really loud as the crystals on the gloves glew,reacting to her raging anger that was growing inside. Right now she just wanted to rip his head off. But his words plus thought of prevois encounters got her thinking before acting. She felt useless at this point,not really knowing what to do. "You...go to rot...where is he? Where is Alex?!"Marina asks,demanding for an answer. She made her other hand a fist as flames covered it a bit. "What the hell do you want? Haven't you caused enough pain...?! Alex...he doesn't deserve to go through any of this **** that you're putting him through!"Marina says,not moving an inch closer nor back. Her heart was racing as she felt worned out. Proably because of not resting after a bunch of hours and a mission,or just the fear and anger mixing up inside.

"It is not a matter of if the man deserves this or not. This is what must happen. He must suffer, for this conflict to come to a close." Nightmare began pacing back and forth. "The war would not exist if you had been able to accept my superiors and their views of the world, but you could not. You created conflict. You spawned war. Every life that has been lost is on you. You would not give up, so a message needed to be sent: a message of what could be done if you refused to go quietly. That message, was sent through Alex. But it does not need to be this way."

 

"The young man is being held in a familiar facility. I believe you and your friends will recognize it: the place you spent imprisoned before your escape." Nightmare turned to Marina, gazing emotionlessly at her. "You are to enter the building alone. Soldiers shall be stationed there, but they will no be hostile, they will not harm you. When you enter the main hall, you and I may negotiate the terms of the young man's release. No one is to know you are going. Not Leslie, not Maloran, not Lambda. Should you not arrive alone, not arrive, or show hostility to anyone upon entry, he will be broken." Nightmare turned away.

 

"This conflict is coming to an end, Marina. Your resistance knows this, as do we. As for who shall be standing when the ashes settle... our opinions differ from yours." Nightmare then vanished into black flames.

(leslie's pov)

 

I nodded. "yeah...Let's Restore this world back to the way it was and maybe...to something even better. no matter what happens in the end we are all going to survive " I said. 'I'm going to make sure of it...there's already been too much violence and bloodshed. this is where it all will end.' "I'm going with you both." Alessa said. "...are you sure?" I said. I really didn't want her to go. "yeah, plus Nuri will be there too besides we want some action too!" Alessa said. Nuri stepped forward. "It's going to be an honor to fight alongside you, Marnia, and Alex when he comes back. Brotherhood assistance is on standby ready to go." Nuri said. "Lambda,I need to be escused for a moment. Smoke could be seen coming out from it. "that's very good." I smiled. "I have to go as well, I'll see you all later. All of you Stay strong, now." Niex said, the opened up a portal and left in a hurry. "what could he be dealing with?" I asked nuri, she smiled at me. "Headmaster Niex has a lot on his plate, probably Concerning his Wife." Nuri said. 'He has a wife?'

I returned to headquarters in my office...Clearly something was amiss. "Did I get any messages? Any traces of them?" Vaden then appears before me. "Nope, not a single trace..its like they disappeared out of thin air, But don't get too worried after all it is your wife we are talking here and she is with a party of five. they are bound to show up." He said. My throat felt simply choked up with worry. "I hope you are right, Vaden..." I said. This is the first time I've been long apart from my wife...not since Ages ago when we were both young after graduated from The Brotherhood Academy....I could remember clearly as it happened yesterday. I sat down In my chair, Drank some tea and looked at a picture of me and her young at summer camp that is placed to the side of my desk. "After the 24 Hour Mark, Put up an APB, I'm Not going to take any chances." I said. "I understand Headmaster. I'll be at my post." Vaden bowed then he left.

 

(general Highwind's pov)

 

We have already attacked Suspect territory, we haven't found any signs of Rebel forces in these areas, about an hour and a half has already passed and already 1,000 droids have already been produced and ready to be deployed and sent off to suspected rebel territory. I watch the destruction our machines on My large Screen on my desk. They are nothing but efficient, merciless, war machines. I drank several cups of tea still trying to soothe my nerves. 'I Will personally kill Marina, Leslie, and Alex with joy while everyones is watching and slowly dying.' I prepared My Transportation as soon as the rebels were found.

Marina stared. Breathless of what she had heard. She stared as the flames died out of her glove. She stepped back a few steps and rested against the door,slowly slidding down onto the floor. He stared at the empty space as she gritted her teeth. "Dammit..."Marina says. She held Hero's Crest tightly,enough to cut herself with its sharp edges. "DAMMIT!!!!!!!"Marina yelled as she slammed her fist against the wall besides her,easily crushing it with a sudden force. She stared at her hand. Something was up,besides this whole encounter. But she quickly settled it aside as she looked down at the keyblade. She rubbed her thumb on it,getting some dirt off it. "...what am I soppouse to do...?"Marina asks to herself. She then remembered something. The promise she made to him. The promise that she would finish the tyranny if anything were to happen. That was it. Marina looked up and her eyes narrowed a bit. She stood up and looked down at the keyblade. "Don't worry Alex. I'm keeping that promise. One way or another."Marina says as she got the keyblade on her belt and started to fill her small pocket boxes with spheres. Lambda watched as Leslie walked off. She looked around and decided to explore,maybe look for Marina.

Nightmare reappeared in fron of the officer. He turned. "Is it done? Is Marina going to come here?"

 

"If she values the life of Alex, she will, sir."

 

"And you are confident in your plan?"

 

"If she does not arrive, his spirit will be broken as per your instruction, and his new persona shall be fitted to him immediately, sir."

 

The officer turned away. "Good. Very good." He slightly turned his head. "Ensure that the doors are open for Marina's arrival. She will have 30 minutes. If she does not arrive, break him. Then hunt her, and kill her. Then Leslie, then Maloran, then anyone in the resistance. This is their final chance."

Marina filled the pocket boxes with different spheres. Red spheres,acid spheres,health spheres,different kinds. She got the boxes around her belt as she looked around for anything else. She looked around the gabinets and found something circular and metaly. She blew dust off it and got it in her pocket. "Just incase."Marina says. She adjusted her gloves and looked in the mirror. She looked distraught. She tapped herself in teh face a few times and got a trusting expression on her face. "I can. I will. I will destroy nightmare,and everyone in there. I'll rescue Alex and bring him back home. Then all of us can kick what is left of the tyranny's asses until we can't feel our legs anymore."Marina says to herself. She shook her head and turned when she saw something dusty on the table. A picture frame. She blew dust off it and wiped it clean with the end of her shirt. It was a picture from way years ago. Someone had taken it and had given out random copies. It was the entire gang,standing up infront of the base,holding supplies as they were helping get them inside. Each one of them were showing different emotions and it seemed like a perfect picture. Marina smiled a bit and carefully got the picture out of the frame. She stared down at it and sighed. "Don't worry. Just a little longer."Marina says as she cleared her troath and got the picture in her pocket. Lambda walked over to Marina's door. She was going to open it when she noticed it was locked. Lambda stared and ran to the room next door. She got on the bed and got her pinky finger out. A beam appeared on it as she did a small hole on the wall. She poked the filling out and peeked. She could see Marina inside her room. Marina however,didn't noticed. Lambda not being human,she couldn't have a heartbeat to feel anyway. "Well...I better get going."Marina says as she walked out of the room,leaving a note on the door that said 'Gone for a few,be right back' and hurried down to the entrance/exit. Lambda watched and started to follow after her. Marina summoned her glider and got on it. She sighed and breathed. "I go in. Bring Alex back,and kick Tyranny ass. Especially that guy."Marina says as she looked up with narrowed eyes. She stepped on it and rode off. Lambda called for her but Marina was already gone. Lambda stared. Where did she go?! Lambda didn't knew what to do so she did what she was taught to do: Go to an adult. In this case,Alessa,or Leslie,or Nuri,or Maloran. Lambda ran back into the hallway,actually scared. "LESLIE!!!!"

Alex's eyes slightly opened. He could still feel the darkness looming incredibly close to him. Everything had faded to black after he had reached his limit, but he appeared to be back on the Station of Awakening, in the position he was in before. He looked around. "...why am I still here...? Why didn't you break me...?"

 

"There is one last torture you must go through, Mr. Roberts. One final event you must witness."

A Tyranny grunt approached Nightmare. "Marina is confirmed to be on her way. She should be here shortly."

 

Nightmare gazed emotionlessly at him. "Ensure all of your weapons are holstered upon her arrival. Two of you are to escort her to the main hall. You are not to harm her unless she strikes first."

I Heard Lambda yell out my name. "what is it?!" I ran towards her she brought me a note. it read: 'Gone for a few,be right back.' It was written in Marina's Handwriting. 'what is she doing?...I understand why she would go out to find a way to help alex but...' I couldn't fathom what was she trying to. Alessa came up to me. "They Attacked a few small rebel bases." she said and showed me on the T.V screen in the main room, with everyone watching. I see clips of buildings being destroyed and our rebel comrades being slaughtered by those new machines. there have been a few clips here and there were I could try to make out to confirm it was them.Lambada was holding onto my leg tightly as she was curiously looking on what was on the screen,
