Continuing from Where Ultimate Marvel vs Square Enix: Fate of Two Worlds Left off Did we All Last see that Dormammu had Destroyed Everyone and Everything that had Belonged to the Two Universes Alongside Himself, Only to Recreate the Two Universes Themseleves in the Form of a "Merged" Universe of Sorts, Which has Now been Joined by a Previously Non Connected Universe now Obviously Connected as This Universe is Home to Characters from the Fellow Video Game Company Alongside Square Enix called Capcom's Video Game Franchises like Both Ryu from Street Fighter and/Or Mega Man from Mega Man and now Please May the Audience Sit Back and Relax as Veterans and Rookies Alike Will now Take Part in What is the Second Chapter of this Continuing Crossover Saga of All Star People and Places Alike Too With At Least Most of their Favourite Techniques and Famous Costumes Alongside Them Too and see What Might Happen as Dormammu Replaces Both Doctor Doom and the Emperor as the Main Primary Antagonist of This Second Chapter.

Gambit

 

"Merci, but I'm afraid..." Remy made his way through the doorway, scanning the room. Guns, swords... jukeboxes. Seemed like his kind of guy. "I'm a little lost." He finished, leaning back on the pool table. The room was in disarray, evidence of the mayhem that he had heard earlier. "And I'm willin' to bet that whatever brought me here, brought this-" he gestured around broadly. "As well. Think you could help a guy out?"

 

Vergil

 

That power. It wasn't what he had been searching for, but still...

 

Vergil stood atop the derelict building, looking down on Hope. That girl held an incredible power, one that could possibly even rival that of Sparda. Such a force could not be left unattended. He leapt down from his perch with silent grace, landing some distance in front of the mutant. "Tell me, human. How did you acquire that power?" His grip tightened on Yamato's scabbard, although he took no offensive stance. If she aspired for the Dark Knight's power, as so many had before, than simply charging in was no sane approach.

 

That was Dante's style.

This began to get Dante's attention. In general, he wasn't exactly the greatest with business. He was horribly in debt with another Devil Hunter, Lady, and whenever he got a job that could pay her off, she'd throw a property damage bill in his face to make his debt even worse. He also wasn't exactly great at choosing his jobs. If he didn't like a job, he'd say no, no matter what it'd pay. But if it involved demons, he'd usually take it, no questions asked. And this might be one of those cases. "In here, there's generally two locations that are important." Date pointed behind him. "The bathroom," he then pointed behind the man, "and the door... or where the door used to be. But if you're new to this whole place, the first thing I'd suggest telling me..." Dante took his legs off the table and leaned forward on his chair. "...is how you got here."

Unknown was wondering around in a forest when he decided to take it over. He made the trees turn into flames and then made a castle appear from the ground. "Must better." he said.

 

Hulk was in human form walking down a street in a town.

 

Blinky was still in bed.

{Hope}

Hope kept in a defensive stance as she studied Vergil. She had no idea who he was, and with what Cable had told her of the situation, that worried her. Was he a friend or a foe?

"I was born with it." she answered the Son of Sparda, keep her voice strong.

A show of weakness could be deadly right now.

 

{Nero}

The large demon pulverized the ground where Nero had been. The young demon hunter rolled back to his feet, pulling out Blue Rose again and blasting several times at the demon. Nero took some satisfaction to see wounds appear and the demon grunt in pain.

"Fool!" it bellowed. "Don't you sense it? Dormammu has won. He has granted us-!"

Nero took two steps and punched the demon in the face with his Devil Bringer.

"Squat, by the looks of it." he interrupted. "I might not know who this Dormammu is, but since he's helping the likes of you, he's gonna get what you are."

Nero drew his sword, Red Queen from his back and reved it. The demon howled and threw himself at Nero. Nero uppercutted the demon, alter its course over his head, he drove Red Queen up, allowing the demon's on momentum to drag itself across the blade, cutting it in two.

 

{Riku}

Riku stepped out of the Dark Corridor he had opened into a small town on a world he didn't recognize. This wouldn't have been too bad if he hadn't been trying to open a portal to Radiant Garden.

"Where is this?" he wondered mentally.

Riku glanced around and saw a man walking down the street.

"Hey, you!" he called after the man. "Wait up!"

He ran to catch up with Dr. Bruce Banner.

Bruce stopped and looked at the guy who stopped him. "What do you want?" Bruce asked. Bruce didn't really have time right now for this, but he could kill a few seconds as long as he isnt made mad. A few days ago, Bruce had made an expertiment on himself that didnt turn out so well.

Gambit

 

"You got me, mon ami." Remy pushed himself off of the table before making his way around the room. "But le's run through the usual suspects, shall we?" He insepcted the jukebox. It looked authentic enough, although it seemed that one of the records was missing...

 

"Let's see... Doctor Doom... Miss Sinister, maybe... I hear Mephisto 'as been pretty busy lately."

 

Vergil

 

"I see." She kept her voice stern, although her posture betrayed her. Her power was formidable indeed, although she seemed reluctant to use it. "You are no demon, child. What brings you to this world?"

{Riku}

"I'm trying to figure out where I am." Riku explained.

Riku studied Bruce. He seemed nervous about something.

"You okay, mister?"

 

{Hope}

Hope snorted.

"I've actually been called worse, but no, I'm not a demon." she said. "I'm here to put this world and the other worlds back where they belong."

She narrowed her eyes at Vergil.

"Know anything about what happened? Or anything about a demon named Dormammu?"

 

{Nero}

Nero flecked the blood off his sword as the mutated demon faded from the human world.

"Great." he thought angrily. "Not only do we seem to have a big demon trying something, I can't call Yamato to me."

He stuck Red Queen on his back. He was beginning to doubt even Kyrie could make this day go better. There was only one thing for it. He had to go see Dante to figure out what in all the hells was happening.

"Yes, I am fine. Now you are New York City in America." Bruce told him. Bruce was wondering why is guy was asking an odd question, maybe he bumbed his head?

Dante stretched his arms. "Eh, I doubt Mephisto would be dumb enough to try something like that." Dante had actually met Mephisto before, offering the Devil Hunter a chance to have his father Sparda, his mother, and even twin brother Vergil back together as a real family. Dante promptly held the demon at gunpoint and threatened to kill him if he didn't have a job. Mephisto gave Dante a job, and he immediately tripled the fee simply because he didn't like the demon. Dante quickly looked behind the man and back to him. He stood up. "In any case, as long as you're here, there's something important you have to learn..."

 

Dante pulled out Ebony and Ivory and shot. The bullets barely missed the man and collided with a couple demons approaching behind him. These ones looked a lot like Nobodys, except with flaming skulls. "...if you wanna live, you'd better be able to defend yourself." Dante holstered his pistols and unsheathed Rebellion.

{Riku}

"Yep." Riku thought. "This is definitely not a world I know."

He looked around him. Why was this New York where Radiant Garden suppose to be?

"Anything unusual happen lately?" he asked.

 

{Nero}

Nero got a motorcycle and headed for Dante's shop. He was settling in for a long trip when he saw a sign that said the city Dante lived in was in six miles. Nero grimaced. More proof that something bad happened. He stepped harder on the gas. The old man needed to get in on this.

Gambit

 

"Mon ami, this is what I live for!" Remy reached into his jacket as he spun around, the telescopic bo staff unfilding in one fluid motion. He jabbed it through one of the attackers, slamming a second against the floor. He stomped the creature, looking up as three more chaged from the other side of the pool table.

 

Remy slammed the staff into the table, the furniture tilting toward him, the balls dropping from the sky. With a tap, pink energy arced between them, each ball shooting through the table, and then their target."Pardon moi." The Cajun grunted while snuffing another of his foes. "The damages are on me." A hand of cards slid out of his sleeve into his waiting fingers. "Don' wanna be an ungracious guest, after all."

 

Vergil

 

"So, there is a demon involved after all." Vergil looked away for a second before returning his attention to Hope. Never take your eyes from the enemy. And anyone who wasn't an ally...

 

"And you mean to stop this foe? Surely a demon with such power is no comparison to someone such as yourself."

Bruce looked at Riku. "Well, a weird guy, who lives on planet Earth, is asking odd questions like he never saw a day before in his life. And the fact of my experiment went wrong." Bruce told him.

Hope shook her head.

"You might think that." she conceded. "But since that demon took out several heroes of my world and others rather easily, that would be a bad assumption to make right now."

She could feel her power react to him. He wasn't as human as he appeared.

"So, who and what are you, buddy?" she asked.

 

{Riku}

Riku regarded Bruce. While he had been rather blunt with his questions, most of the other worlds he had been to wouldn't have paid too much attention beyond a slight comment. Did this guy know about other worlds?

"What kind of experiment are we talking about?" he asked.

 

{Nero}

Nero drove his motorcycle up to the Devil Mat Cry shop door. He turned off the engine as he jumped off the bike and ran for the door. He roughly pushed them open.

"Hey, Dante!" he yelled, stepping into the shop. "What do you know about..."

He stopped talking as he took in the situation. One of the attackers charged at him. He grabbed it with his Devil Bringer and slammed it into the ground.

"Jeez, Dante, can't you keep your office from becoming a war zone?"

"A few days ago, I was testing out a gamma bomb, when I was exposed to the blast. Now you dont want to see me when I am angry. But if you need help, then I guess I will help you. As long as we meet up with Blinky whenever he wakes up." Bruce told Riku.

{Riku}

Riku wasn't sure he liked this talk about "bomb" and "blast." How was this guy still standing?

"Okay..." Riku said, drawing out the word.

Riku wanted to just go on to someplace else, but with how his last trip went, he had one idea where he'd end up. Best stick in out here till he had more info.

"Alright, let's find this Blinky." he said. "I'm Riku, by the way."

As Dante saw the man fight, he immediately knew. He's not human. Asides from his years of experience when finding out that someone isn't human, he knew that no mortal could do the things he was doing right now. However, Dante could also tell that he wasn't a demon either. Demons are naturally proud and arrogant creatures, and especially aren't fans of the son of Sparda, the Devil Hunter. But Dante figured these thoughts could wait for later. Dante beheaded one of the demons and kicked its flaming skull into the body of another, setting it on fire. Dante then slashed another demon into the air and riddled its body with bullets from Ebony and Ivory. Dante then immediately turned and shot a demon that was coming up behind Nero. "Well well, if it isn't the kid himself." Dante holstered his pistols and stabbed another demon. "Here to help an old man out, eh?"

Gambit

 

"Beaucoup a apprécié!" Remy grinned toward Nero before leaning back, spinning the bo staff above him. He spun around, slicing one of the demons in half. Its remains fell to the floor, disintegrating into a fine sand. "An' I don't know what these things are, but-" He leapt back, charged cards driving themselves into two of the attackers. "They don' seem to give up."

 

Vergil

 

She dared to question him? She surely did not know where she stood in this world. Although... this may not be his world either.

 

"I am the son of Sparda" was his blunt reply. He walked past Hope, stopping a few feet behind her. "I am one of the most powerful demons to exist in this human world." Yamato quivered again. Whatever was causing these disturbances was clearly in this world as well. Was it Dante? Or... him? Could this girl be trusted? Could a human be trusted? Arkham had betrayed him, but there was something different about her....

 

"Vergil." The devil broke the silence. "My name is Vergil."

 

OOC: No, I didn't forget about Snow. He's still breaking doors down, waiting for his heroic entrance.

{Nero}

Nero drew his sword and sliced through a demon.

"Who are you?" he asked Gambit.

He stabbed into another demon and reved his sword through.

"And how did all this happen?" he asked Dante. "Is it that demon Dormammu?"

 

{Hope}

Hope turned to keep Vergil in front of her. She wasn't letting him have her back just yet.

"Glad to met you, Vergil." She said. "My name's Hope. You know what I'm here for, and I get the basic idea of why you are."

She moved more to Vergil's side, keeping a careful distance from the half-demon.

"Are these goals going to clash?" She asked, bluntly.

"Dormammu? Don't think I've heard of this guy before." Dante sliced a demon's flaming skull off and slashed it with his sword, sending it ricocheting off every other demon in the room. "But if he's the guy behind all these demons, then I can't say that I like him all that much." Dante stabbed the last demon, and sheathed Rebellion on his back. Dante looked at the man. "Don't worry, these kind of things happen a lot... to me. Not this frequently, though." Dante then turned to Nero. The last time he saw the kid was in Fortuna, where the leader of a crazy order named Sanctus tried to obtain demonic powers and take over the world using the power of 'The Savior'. Nero was able to, albeit with Dante's help, take the madman down, and Dante let Nero hang on to his brother's former sword, Yamato. Dante crossed his arms and smirked. "So, how are you doin', kid?"

"Dormammu?" Remy's red eyes widened at the name. His bo staff retracted, the mutant tucking it back into his jacket. "Now tha's someone to avoid. We'll be needin' more than we've got here."

 

He paused for a moment, taking in the scene around them. Or more accurately, what was left of the scene around them. "Name's Remy. Remy LeBeau." He turned back to Nero, offering a hand before noticing the Devil Bringer. His gaze flickered from the arm to Nero, a small apologetic smirk as he switched hands.

She was keeping her distance; a wise move. Perhaps there was more to this human than met the eye. “Not so long as you stay out of my way.” Vergil adjusted the collar of his jacket. He felt… constricted, for some reason. It was almost as of this whole world was bearing down on him.

 

“What,“ he stopped. Should he really be associating with her? “do you know of this Dormammu?”

{Nero}

Nero ignored Gambit's offered hand, but gave him a curt nod.

"A pleasure, I'm sure." he said to the Cajun mutant.

He glanced around at the damage Gambit had inflected.

"Not bad. Love to know how you do that."

Nero then sighed and looked at Dante.

"Alright, it's like this. Something screwy happened while I was fighting a demon. He starts growing and I couldn't summon Yamato. I beat him, and he mentioned that Dormamnu guy."

 

{Hope}

"He's some sort of demon, from what I've been told." Hope said. "He's tried to take over the world I'm from before, but was stopped. He's now trying to conquer multiple dimensions."

She lapsed into silence for a moment as she studied Vergil.

"I'm guessing you aren't from the Universe I'm from, so I can't really give you a good gauge of Dormammu's power levels. But since your universe is dragged into this, you have a stack in stopping him."

Dante listened to what Gambit and Nero said, but only one thing mattered to him. "Woah, woah, back up a bit, kid." Dante slowly began to approach Nero. "Yamato, my brother's sword, the key that seperates the human world from the demon world, keeps the Hell Gate closed... you lost it?" Dante was now real close to Nero. Dante made a gamble, letting Nero hold on to the sword instead of taking it back. He was never good at gambling. Dante's voice was almost a whisper. "Well that's not very good, now is it?"

{Nero}

Nero moved closer into Dante's face.

"You think I like it?" he said, defiantly. "I know the power of that sword. If not for it, I couldn't have saved Kyrie."

Nero took a few steps back to give both demon hunters some room.

"I'm going to find it. What ever happened to it, this Dormammu is probably behind it. I'm going to ask him what he knows. I came to see if you wanted in."
