Ace Attorney Movie To See A Worldwide Release

Ace Attorney movie director, Miike Takahashi, recently presented a world premiere of the movie at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The Ace Attorney movie covers the events of the first game.

Twitch provide their impressions of the film, and report that, while the movie was screened in Japanese, the subtitles used the characters’ western names. For example, we know “Ryuuichi Naruhodou” as “Phoenix Wright” in English.

Additionally, Takahashi confirmed during a Q&A session that there are plans to release the Ace Attorney movie worldwide, with each region receiving subs and dubs using the character names from the Phoenix Wright games for that region.

Love the hair in that pic.

Love the Running Man Signature. :D

is that a page of manga in his hand O.O ?

Anyone else think this movie would've looked way better with white actors? Of course they'd use Japanese people for a Japanese movie, but the people in the game (and this usually applies to most games) look more American.
