Yeah, it's not new news, so shut up! It's just getting close to that time (and I was looking it up to check on it), so I figured I'd post it.

ATLUS has a history of remaking the Persona series, and their not stopping now. In Spring 2012, the Vita remake of Persona 4 will be released in Japan. It's a proper remake, similar to the PSP's Persona 3 Portable.

"Persona 4: The Golden" includes a new character named Mary, wireless support in dungeons, new animation movies, and (claimed) 50% more voice acting than the original Persona 4. There has not been a specific release date foir the Japanese version. and while there has been no confirmation of an international edition, it is highly likely.

In addition, ATLUS has announced "Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena" (or simply "P4U"), a fightning game developed by Arc System, the developers respopnsible for the BlazBlue series. It features the characters of Persona 4 as well as Persona 3 duking it out a la BB. The characters fight normally, summoning their Personas for special attacks. Those who played the BlazBlue series will feel right at home, if the previews reflect the final product. P4U is set for a PS3 and Xbox 360 release in Q2 2012 in Japan. It is unknown if there will be an international edition.

Personally (<- I went back and bolded that. Ha!), I can't wait for these games. And if there's no international P4U, I'll probably import it.

What do you guys think?

HOW EXCITING ^_________^.

I'm always looking forward to new SMT games. The Persona series is definitely my favorite RPG franchise. I hope P4U gets localized!

I'm happily doing another playthrough of P3FES right now :D.

Am interested in this game.

Since Catherine came out internationally and sold well so it's safe bet that this will to but you will have to wait a bit.

Interested, but not getting chipped for paying full price on a Vita.
