Okay, today in school, we were randomly talking about what we do for our parents and what they do for us in Citizenship.
Now, my mother has MS, so I would say I look after her quite a bit. I did used to complain a lot when I was younger (about 10-12) but as I grew up, I realised I was doing a good thing and when I go to University, I'm easily going to be able to take care of myself. From the discussion in school, it seems that I've passed my little childish phase pretty early. There are still people who take their parents for granted and think it unfair for them to have to do chores and be told what to do and what not.
Then later today, I saw this.
I gotta say, I respect this man. I think this was quite a fitting punishment and you can see at the end how emotional he's getting and that's he pretty upset about the whole thing.
But, I'm just wondering what your opinion is. Not just on the video but also about children-parent relationships.
