So I was browsing walkthroughs on youtube for bbs to get ready for Terra's final boss at lvl 16 CM (I know!) and I saw that the uploaders

 

said they manadged to record the videos b/c they played their bbs on the pc screen...............w/o an emulator! So I wanted to try that out

 

but I don't know how to do it so does any1 know how??? PLZ and Thanx in advance.................................................... :ph34r:

im not sure about pc...i know there is a RBG cable you can buy if you are lucky(they dont make it anymore). that can hook into a tv. I was fortunate enough to find one in my city, as far as i know it was the last one here.

those cables dont work with with psp 1000 u need 2000 or 3000 and for playing on the computer it might have been a hacked psp using remotejoy

Yeah, the only way to do it without an emulator is to get the correct a/v cables to hook up from your computer to an out, then connect that to your pop, which needs to be hacked and have RemoteJoy on it. It'd too expensive and too risky to just play your psp on the computer screen.

I've done it before, but admittedly, you're going to need a PSP with custom firmware and a plugin called RemoteJoy. If your official firmware is too far updated it gets near impossible to install custom firmware over it. I'll leave you to your own research? Custom firmware in itself shouldn't be considered illegal, but some of things you can do with it is. All you want to do is have your PSP screen on your computer screen, and that's not a bad thing. But... yeah. Pretty sure those who record from their screens did so with a hacked psp given custom firmware and the RemoteJoy plugin.

I looked this up a while ago to get my ps2 hooked up to my computer monitor. You can do any console with this set up. I'm not sure if you need the VGA box for the PSP, though. I just know you need it for a PS2.

 

**Note: this is just to get you started. Try researching these sort of things and see if they work with PSP (like the person above me said to do)
