I've always been interested in doing a Legend of Zelda RP, but none have really popped up, so I figured I'd start one myself.

 

Hyrule seems to go in cycles of peace and turmoil. Evil often rises up to try and take the Triforce; the icon of Hyrule and the powerful gift of the goddesses, but there is always a youth; Link, there to stop it. But at one point in Hyrule's history there was not a Link to save the day, and the evil that rose to claim power had to be thwarted by the common inhabitants of the lands. Heroes who may not have been fated to save the land, but had the courage to do it nonetheless. Will you take up that mantle; to either try to rule the land or try to save it?

 

These are the Legends of Hyrule.

 

We begin the way that many Zeldas do; with a celebratory festival. In the populated metropolitan center of Castle Town the festivities of the Festival of the Goddesses is already underway. This festival thanks the goddesses for all their work in creating Hyrule, and draws in people from the four corners of the land. This means Hylians, Sheikahs, Gorons, Zoras, Gerudo, and Kikori. The celebration is in full swing, but unbeknownst to the towns people, a man name Zierr had entered the city for a much darker purpose; to claim the power of the royal family and control of Hyrule itself. Terrible events are about to occur in Castle Town that will serve as the opening for one of the greatest legends that Hyrule has ever known!

 

When creating your character, please note that the possible races are Hylians, Sheikahs, Gorons, Zoras, Gerudo, and Kikori. PM if you feel like there's another race you want to be that can fit in well, and I can probably accommodate it. Note that you can choose your side as well, and if you choose the side of Evil, please clarify if you are on Zierr's (my character) side, or simply another dark force contesting for power. Only one character per person, as this is meant to be a shared adventure, not a collection of people's individual ideas for a story. You may create and speak for minor characters to push your characters tale forward, but no more than one character, and no controlling other people's characters, unless you can PM me and the person you are controlling a good reason for doing so and are given the green light by both. Name: Zierr

Race: Sheikah

 

Good or Evil :Evil

 

Appearance: His dark blue Sheikah robes are infused with crimson markings unlike any of his brethren. His dark hood shields much of his short black hair, and his hands are covered with black (right hand) and white (left hand) gloves. His dark brown boots have an exceptionally intricate design on them. He has both a red and black eye, and very rarely smiles.

 

Personality: He's very quiet, but extremely competent, one of the very best of the Sheikah. He does what he needs to, but on the inside he's never been one to take orders. He extremely intelligent, and is a more than worthy foe. He plans far ahead and can mentally outmatch just about anyone, something he prides himself on, almost to the point of overconfidence. He has an emotional side, but is still very clear headed almost all of the time. He seeks control, and he seeks to better the world of Hyrule the way he sees fit. He also indulges in challenges and obstacles for him to best.

 

Biography : His childhood is mostly unknown, except that he lost both his parents rather early on, both of them Sheikahs. At one point he fell in love, but that was long ago, and now he is simply well known for his legendary status as a Sheikah warrior, he single-handedly kept the Gorons from diving into civil war, and he bested the legendary Gerudo challenges. He is well respected, but as far as anyone knows, he has no true friends to speak of. He's recently gone missing, and just arrived in Castle Town.

 

Weapons : Two small chakrams (bladed wheels used for striking or throwing), which are both coated with a mysterious substance that makes them emanate a dark glow.

 

Instrument: A miniature violin known as the Violin of Flight

Personality: Fierce, serious, loyal to friends, smart

 

Biography (optional):Nuala grew up on her own. She became a guard for Zelda when she became 17. She trains daily using both her swords she is extremely loyal to zelda and the royal family.

Name: Luke Fabre

Good or Evil: Neutral

 

Appearance:

 

Personality: Luke is an impatient, stubborn, and laid-back boy. He generally is cold and hostile to any one who comes near him. However, his true personality shines if you can get to know him.

 

Biography: A noble of Hyrule. He lived a sheltered live due to his kidnapping at an early age. Recently he escaped the Castle, as he wished to see the Festival. Now he hides amongst the crowds, as many guards look for him.

 

Weapon: A longsword that he wields backwards.

 

Instrument: Violin

Name: Piolua Yetiv

 

Age: 18

 

Race: Sheikah

 

Good or Evil: Good

 

Appearance:

(But with a sheikah symbol on chest)

 

Personality: Quiet, loner, competitive, strives to be the best

 

Bio: Grew up with Zierr, was his only practical match and always did her best to do better than him but never did. Since then has traveled the world besting champions of each race to grow in strength so she can beat Zierr. Now that he has turned evil her mission has turned more noble. Has an enemy of my enemy is my friend relationship with fellow good warriors.

 

Weapons: A bow and arrow from the kokiri champion, a bag of bomb flower seeds from the goron champion, a scimitar from the gerudo champion, a boomerang from the zora champion, a shield from the hylian champion. Not to mention a goron armlet and zora scale since she accidentally killed both of those champions.
