The Anime World: Second Generation

Posted

The Idea: This RP is about what would happen if all anime existed at one point in time. However it isn't about your normal everyday anime characters.

Introduction: A long and terrible war was waged between the forces of good and evil, it brought a huge death toll to many of the nameless characters, and then finally at the end of the war all of the nameless side characters were erased. The five strongest people on both sides decided it was time to reach a conclusion, and after months of delegating they formed a treaty. The world had been pretty much devestated except for the country of Italy, so they divided it into three parts, and built two walls. The wall that divided Central Italy from the south was made by the good guys, the wall to the north was made by the bad guys, and the neutral anime characters took the small center. (The neutral anime consist of all the anime that use cards or monsters to fight for them, and it also consists of Death from Soul Eater seeing as how Death affects everyone.) The good and neutral countries turned to democracy, but the evil country to the north decided to split into five different districts under each of the five heads of power and they all fight for control of the territory. The rules of the treaty are simple, anyone alive at the time of the signing of the treaty isn't allowed to leave their country, and this left the fate of the future on the shoulders of the second generation....

Rules: The RP takes place 19 years after the signing of the treaty, if you want your character to be able to move around and have significance they must be 19 or younger, and if they are older than 19 they will be stuck in the country until crap hits the fan near the middle of the RP. No OP'ing your characters, no controlling other people's characters, and keep it PG-13. Also if one (or both) of your parents die in their respective anime, they ARE NOT allowed to be alive anywhere during your character's life. They don't have to die the way they did in the show, but they have to be dead. You don't have to make your parents cannon, they can be from two completly different anime, or from the same anime. If anyone takes a character or two that you want you can simply make yourself an illegitimate child who has nothing to do with the family, or ask the person if they are ok with having a younger sibling. (Have Fun!!)

Character sheets will be made like the following examples.

Character Name: Anthony Nightroad

Character's Parents' Names: Abel and Astha Nightroad

Bio: After the signing of the treaty Abel Nightroad gave up his need for revenge, and decided to settle down with Astha who had been giving him signs of interest lately. They moved into the center of the Nation, and had a son they named Anthony. He grew into a goofy, flirty, and overall happy child. He is currently 18 years old, is about 5"9 and a half, weighs about 145, and is second in his class. He is excited about his senior year and hopes that it goes by fast so he can pick a career. Being part Vampire he has pretty sensitive skin, but his father's genes keep him from burning up in the day time. He uses a gun fairly well, but his best quality is hand to hand combat. He is currently unable to go into Crusnic form due to never drinking Vampire blood, but he has the abiltiy to.

Abilities and draw backs: His healing factor is incredible and he can take on more damage than any human, he is as fast as a vampire, and he has the sharpest eyes. He is level headed and thinks calmly, but when he is enraged he becomes irrational and dangerous.

Weapon(s): A six shot pistol and a Colt .45

Allignment: Good

Kurono lightly took his hand. " Kurono." She said quickly looking him over quickly. Not what i expected but very well could be the mastermind behind all of this. " I heard you needed some things taken care of." She said getting right to the point. She didn't want to have to talk to much, shejust wanted to know what he wanted then get it over with, the amazing amount of money offered was still runnning through her head.

Kazumi thought for a moment. “So, you’re a trained ninja, right? I may be stereotyping, but I’m betting that means you’re good at staying hidden. Can you hide up one of the trees in the courtyard? I would say to just wait in the hallway, but someone might get suspicious and wonder why you’re not in class. Just...try not to throw anybody else like you did with Jonah, okay?” She chuckled.

When Anthony made the offer for either of them to borrow a gun, she replied, “Well, I already went.” She made a face, recalling how she hadn’t performed all that well. “But maybe Takeshi wants to give it a try?” She looked at Takeshi again.

He blushed at her comment and chuckled. "I can hide myself, and I'll try not to throw anyone else, as long as they don't startle me like that." He was offered a try and said "Alright. I just pull the trigger to shoot right?" He took the gun and activated his sharingan. He then aimed at the target and shot until there were no more bullets in the clip. He gave the gun back and retrieved the target to see how he did, though he already had a hunch. He showed them and even though there was only one hole in the bullseye, all the bullets had gone through that one spot.

(That's the power of the Sharingan lol)

Kazumi stared wide-eyed at the target. “H-how did you do that?!” she asked in awe. “Just a minute ago you didn’t even know what a gun was!” She realized that she was now speaking above her normal, quiet voice, and her face turned red as she hoped that nobody else had heard what she’d said.

He pointed to his eyes and said "I posess a special kekkei genkai, or bloodline limit called the Sharingan. It increases my sight and abilites, so with it I was able to accuratly aim at the target and hit it with perfect precision and accuracy each time."

Kazumi resumed speaking in her usual low voice. “Ah, I see--no pun intended. Cheater.” She giggled. So he possessed special powers, too, like the majority of the students here. She should’ve known his dead-on aim had something to do with that.

He chuckled and said "Never told me I couldn't use them. Besides, I'm not going to be using guns. I'm better off with what I've got, my jutsu and my Zanpaktou."

Anthony was astonished, he took his gun, and holstered it. "That was amazing, think Kazumi agrees....I think we all did pretty well, what do you think Mr. Gunslinger?" he asked. Gunslinger nodded and said," A's all around...I'll give Jonah a D-. That's class...move along to second period." Anthony looked down feeling both glad and upset. He grabbed his things and walked into the hall.

Cassius looked her in the eyes and said," Well its simple. You and Kio will cause a diversion by attacking the Neutral Nation, then in response the Good Nation will immediatly send supplies. My father and the Nation of Evil will respond by sending a message to the Good Nation. They will plea their innocense constantly, and then our organization will make itself known by causing a fight at one of the vendors. The target is a certain...umm...bi-polar student. I've found myself..wandering into the Good Nation from time to time, causing a few various murders here and there, and I've found the man I want as a partner. His name is...unimportant for now, but once you attack the nation I want you to report back. Is that good for you?" Kio nodded, then looked at Kurono and smirked.

"Well then, I'll wait in a tree until you get out Kazumi, then you can help me register." He ran out of the school and found a tree. He ran up it and sat on a branch near the top. He was high up, but still hidden. He could also see out the tree, so he could keep an eye out for Kazumi when she was done.

This was unreal. Like, it totally couldn't be happening.

Shin sat across from Akihiko, thoughts rushing through his mind. That little old man Sanada-san had just told him about had to be that same guy from ten years ago. But why would he call Akihiko, much less reawaken his Persona? "I told you," Akihiko said, his mouth half-full of noodles. "Something's going on." He covered his mouth, wiping it with his napkin as he swallowed. "Sorry. Igor said so himself. He has all of the nations in that club." He drew a circle on the table with his finger, Shin watching as he slurped up a few noodles of his own.

"Did he say when this attack was going to happen?" Shin waited until his mouth was empty to speak. Akihiko took the hint, fnishing his bite before replying.

"No, but he made it clear that something was going to happen." He began tapping on the table with his chopsticks. "I'm afraid... that it may be related to what you were telling me about earlier. Are you absolutely sure that you couldn't ID those people?"

"I told you," Shin finished his bowl, placing the sticks neatly across the top. "I only heard their voices. And even then, it was only briefly." Akihiko let out a small sigh, bringing a hand to his head as he closed his eyes. "What about that contact you were talking about earlier?"

"No, we lost contact with him. And neither of us want to get Jun involved." Akihiko stopped drumming the chopsticks as his eyes shot open. "But I know someone who I can call. It's been nine years (OOC: And I've still got a character slot left!), but hopefully I can get in touch with her." He bolted up from the chair, hastily paying the bill as he strode out the door in one swift motion. Shin barely made it out after him without running into another patron.

"Who? Who can help us?" Akihiko straightened his jacket, checking his Evoker at the same time. "SEES" glinted at him as he glanced down.

"An old dormmate."

Kurono nodded. " Ya sure sound simple enough, then as promised?" She asked looking back at Kio. Something about this Cassius guy made her uneasy, he was too polite. Her head was now in the right place forgetting about the money, now it was time to make sure she would be alive to recieve it. Its nice that for a change our side has an actual organized plan, but i do wonder, who is the guy on the good side he is talking about?

Shin stood near the oak tree, watching Akihiko in the distance. He was looking down at the ground, bringing a hand to his face every few minutes. Shin could see his mouth moving, but couldn't hear anything he was saying.

"Ken still keeps in touch with me." Akihiko said. "He's with Koromaru in the far south. They'll be fine. The vet says that Koro-chan's doing pretty good for his age." He let out a small laugh. "Look at me, talking about a dog at a time like this. still, I know you loved him." He wiped another tear away from his eye. "You know, I don't think any of the others have ever seen me cry." He paused. "It may sound self-centered, but why is it that I have to lose everything I care for? First Miki and Shinji, then... him. You missed him too. We all do."

Akihiko knelt down, adjusting the flowers beside the plaque. "I'm sorry, Fuuka. If I had know sooner, I would have come a long time ago." He stood, wiping his face again. "I quit boxing. Became a cop. Detective, actually." A small smile came to his face, but it was quickly lost. "I could really use your help right now. Not only with Juno, but just... someone who understands me. Mitsuru and the others have all moved on, but..." He glanced back behind him to the figure under the tree. "I've got somebody to help me. And I know you would tell me that that's all I really need." He smield again, the expression staying with him. "Thanks. For everything." Akihiko fixed the flowers a final time, joining Shin under the tree when he had finished. Shin was about to speak, but found it hard to.

"So... what now?" Was all he could say. Akihiko looked down to him, his gaze catching on his Evoker.

"We visit our old friend."

Cassius looked at her and nodded. "Of course, you will get whatever you want. The longer you stay in, the more money you'll get," he said.

Takeshi was gone in a flash. What an interesting day this was turning out to be for Kazumi so far. The vice president was actually talking to her, she met a ninja from another realm...maybe school could be something to look forward to now. She looked over at Jonah, feeling bad for him, then got her things together. Off to P.E., she thought.

Koneko, Kusarigama, Jonah, and Anthony headed into the class. Anthony pulled off his coat, tossed it onto a seat in the bleachers, and then lined up on the side of the gym floor. Kusarigama and the others did the same. They then lined up and waited for the rest of the class.

Kurono looked at him. " Ok I'm in." She said but was still cautious. If i see anything I don't like, I'm gone. She told herself looking around the mansion wondering when Kio and herself would leave.

Kio looked at her and smiled. "So, when do you want to go? Do you need to rest up, or eat?" he asked.

"Detective Sanada. We were not expecting you so soon." The young man in the blue suit stood at the front of the club, where Margaret had been before. Theodore, right? Akihiko didn't mull over the thought for too long.

"I need to see Igor. Now." His tone was flat and somewhat rushed. Theo didn't seem moved by his sense of urgency.

"I'm sorry, detective. My master is not accepting visitors right now. If you return-"

"I'm going in, whether you let me in," Akihiko took a lunging step forward, unclipping his Evoker's holster. "or not."

"Detective, please." Theo remained where he stood, still the paragon of calm. Shin was impressed. "We need not resort to violent measures." He was about to continue, but he stopped, his eyes unfocused as if he were lost in thought. Theo returned to the situation, extending an arm into the club. "I apologize, detective. My master will see you now."

"Thank you." Akihiko bowed slightly, Shin doing the same as he followed Akihiko through the club. It looked kind of like those cantinas and bars that you see in the movies. People from all over the place were in here. So it was true that you could get in from any region. The duo passed between two crowded tables, reaching the back of the club. Akihiko pulled the curtain back, leading Shin through it and down the stairway. They arrived in the private room, Igor motioning them to the smaller sofa opposite him. They sat, quietly awaiting the man first words. Akihiko glanced up at the clock. Two of th ehands moved back to the number four, but one of them moved to seven.

"I trust that you are in an urgent situation to disturb my business." Igor stated flatly. Both of the guys were thrown off guard. The man's charm had completely evaporated.

"Um... yes." Akihiko squirmed in his seat a little. An interesting sight, Shin thought. "I need access to a certain Persona." He said, his voice unsure.

"What kind?" Was all Igor asked. His words were short, even a little choppy. It was clear that he didn't like his time squandered.

"Lucia, or Juno." Akihikio said, his words weak compared to the other man's. The younger woman, Elizabeth, opened a book, quickly thumbing through the pages. She sat next to Igor, whispering something in his ear.

"I am afraid that we don't have those Personas in our Compendium. If you can bring someone here who is in possession, of such a Persona, then we can-"

"I can't." Akihiko cut in. Igor didn't react, as if he knew this would happen. "She's..."

"I thought so." Igor softened a little, but remained hunched over, his fingers clasped. "I am afraid that I can do nothing with an unregistered Persona. I can, however," He held a finger up. "Direct you to someone who can. He may not be as effective as your Juno at detection, but I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Elizabeth." The woman straightened up at the sound of her name. "Please show Detective Sanada and his friend to our... guest."

"Yes, master." Elizabeth stood, handing the book to Margaret, who stood behind the sofa. "If you will follow me please, detective." Akihiko and Shin stood, thanking Igor before following her back up into the club. "He is a regular patron at the club. He seems to be working as a mercenary of some sort; he is certainly mysterious enough." She reached into the solid wall at the top of the steps, pulling her arm to the side. The wall opened as curtians would, the trio re-entering the club. "He claims to be able to enter any of the districts, and he never uses his true name. It would seem," Elizabeth stopped at one of the curved booths. "That this is the man you seek." She stepped to the side, revealing a man in a with grey hair sitting in the booth. He had one leg propped up on the bench, a glass of some kind of drink on the table. Shin felt as though the man's eyes were piercing his soul. The man wore a black bodysuit and light armor, a short red jacket and waist cloth draping over him, His expression was cold, almost lifeless. Seeing as they recieved no response upon arriving, Akihiko spoke first.

"I have a job, and I hear that you're the guy to call." The man's eyes shifted in Akhiko's direction, the feeling in Shin's chest alleviating.

"Really? What does it pay?" His voice was a cool as his appearance. He took a sip form the glass, the ice setting as he set it back down.

"Whatever you need." Akihiko assured him. A thin smile crossed the man's lips. "I just need your name."

"What's in a name?" The man finished his drink, setting the glass back down gently. He stood, a little taller than Akihiko. "Call me Archer. It's as good a name as any."

OOC: And there's my fourth character.

Character's Name: "Archer" (As a Servant, his True Name witheld)

Character's Parents' Names: N/A

Character's Appearance:

Character's Parents' Appearance: N/A

Bio: Archer is a Heroic Spirit, though only in a loose sense. He was summoned as a Servant in the last Holy Grail War eighteen years ago, during the conflict that ravaged the world. His master was killed, but being a high-level Archer Servant, he can exist in this world for weeks between contracts. He has worked as a mercenary since that time, taking any work that will come his way, so long as he has a Master to anchor him to this realm. His true motives remain unclear...

Abilities and drawbacks: "Trace": Archer can duplicate any weapon he sees, although these are merely simple replicas. The traced weapons do not hold the full power of the orignal weapon, unless traced for an extensive amount fo time or a substantial amount of energy is used. Archer is also capable of creating a Reality Marble, "Unlimited Blade Works". Doing this, Archer brings his true being into existance in the physical world; a wastleand littered with Broken Phantasms, replicas of weapons of legendary power. As Reality Marbles are very high-class thaumaturgy, Archer is required to recite a lengthy incantation to perform the spell.

Weapons: Archer favors the married blades Kanshou and Bakuya (pictured), though he will summon a Broken Phantasm in times of dire need.

Alignment: Neutral/Gun-for-Hire

Kazumi noticed a few of the people from first period in her P.E. class, including Anthony and Jonah. She was still feeling a little shy, so she only stood somewhat near them without saying anything. She hoped they would be doing something fun in this class, like some kind of sport, and not just a boring series of push-ups and crunches or whatever.

Takeshi grew bored and jumped down from the tree, heading to the gym. He popped up behind Kazumi and asked "What's up?"

Kazumi jumped nearly two feet in the air, and whipped around. “Geez, you scared me!” she said. “Got bored, huh? Well, right now we’re just waiting around for the teacher to start class. The teacher last period didn’t catch on that you’re not really a student here, so I guess it’s fine for you to just hang around with me until lunch. Then we’ll get you registered. I bet you’ll excel in this class.” Kazumi chuckled.

"That sounds great." he said, smiling at her, a slight blush on his face. She was really cute. "So, uh, what class is this?" he asked.

Kazumi smiled back. “This is P.E. Hopefully we’ll be doing something fun for this class. Hey, are you okay? Your face is kind of red.”

"I'm fine." he said. He wanted to tell her, but didn't want her to get upset and hate him.

" I need to sharpen my dagger before we go, but other than that the quicker the better." She said pulling out her slightly dulled dagger. She examined it the first hint of kindness in her eye, she loved her dagger. In an instant it was gone and she looked emotionless at Cassius. " I assume you have a grinding stone?" She asked putting her dagger back in it's sheath at her waist.
