The Anime World: Second Generation

Posted

The Idea: This RP is about what would happen if all anime existed at one point in time. However it isn't about your normal everyday anime characters.

Introduction: A long and terrible war was waged between the forces of good and evil, it brought a huge death toll to many of the nameless characters, and then finally at the end of the war all of the nameless side characters were erased. The five strongest people on both sides decided it was time to reach a conclusion, and after months of delegating they formed a treaty. The world had been pretty much devestated except for the country of Italy, so they divided it into three parts, and built two walls. The wall that divided Central Italy from the south was made by the good guys, the wall to the north was made by the bad guys, and the neutral anime characters took the small center. (The neutral anime consist of all the anime that use cards or monsters to fight for them, and it also consists of Death from Soul Eater seeing as how Death affects everyone.) The good and neutral countries turned to democracy, but the evil country to the north decided to split into five different districts under each of the five heads of power and they all fight for control of the territory. The rules of the treaty are simple, anyone alive at the time of the signing of the treaty isn't allowed to leave their country, and this left the fate of the future on the shoulders of the second generation....

Rules: The RP takes place 19 years after the signing of the treaty, if you want your character to be able to move around and have significance they must be 19 or younger, and if they are older than 19 they will be stuck in the country until crap hits the fan near the middle of the RP. No OP'ing your characters, no controlling other people's characters, and keep it PG-13. Also if one (or both) of your parents die in their respective anime, they ARE NOT allowed to be alive anywhere during your character's life. They don't have to die the way they did in the show, but they have to be dead. You don't have to make your parents cannon, they can be from two completly different anime, or from the same anime. If anyone takes a character or two that you want you can simply make yourself an illegitimate child who has nothing to do with the family, or ask the person if they are ok with having a younger sibling. (Have Fun!!)

Character sheets will be made like the following examples.

Character Name: Anthony Nightroad

Character's Parents' Names: Abel and Astha Nightroad

Bio: After the signing of the treaty Abel Nightroad gave up his need for revenge, and decided to settle down with Astha who had been giving him signs of interest lately. They moved into the center of the Nation, and had a son they named Anthony. He grew into a goofy, flirty, and overall happy child. He is currently 18 years old, is about 5"9 and a half, weighs about 145, and is second in his class. He is excited about his senior year and hopes that it goes by fast so he can pick a career. Being part Vampire he has pretty sensitive skin, but his father's genes keep him from burning up in the day time. He uses a gun fairly well, but his best quality is hand to hand combat. He is currently unable to go into Crusnic form due to never drinking Vampire blood, but he has the abiltiy to.

Abilities and draw backs: His healing factor is incredible and he can take on more damage than any human, he is as fast as a vampire, and he has the sharpest eyes. He is level headed and thinks calmly, but when he is enraged he becomes irrational and dangerous.

Weapon(s): A six shot pistol and a Colt .45

Allignment: Good

"Hey there Gum!" Koneko shouted to Kusarigama, who was just entering P.E. class coming from his Magic Tools class. Having just been in a class for a while with Koneko's mother, Kusarigama could see the resemblance in both attitude and looks, although she still favored her father, Dante. "You should come and hang out with Anthony and the rest of us! There's a new kid here who's pretty cool. He said he came from the Soul Society and that this is his first time in the land of the living."

"First time in the land of the living huh?" asked Kusarigama. "I wonder if he knows Lord Death? Perhaps not, but I'd like to meet him none the less. Besides, I've got to figure out his regular gum order. I have a reputation to keep, after all." With that, Koneko smiled in agreement and led him that way.

"Hey!" called Kusarigama to Anthony with Koneko following shortly behind. "Mind introducing me to the new kid?" Then, noticing the girl in the group, who looked familiar but whom he didn't know, Kusarigama added "And of course I would be honored to know the name of the lovely lady." With that he bowed, took her hand, and kissed it. (Not trying to step on Azure Flame's toes here, but this is how my character acts and I wanted to see how everyone else would respond to it.)

Jykell stepped into the gym hesitantly. He wasn't sure how he felt about all of these students just wandering around like that. He'd much rather them all be in organized groups, or, even better, lines. Yes, lines of students would be nice. He didn't ever quite know what to expect from Mr. Goku, and that's why P.E. was one of his least favorite classes.

(I need to alter my character’s bio slightly so that it’s more true to the anime. If you’re afraid of spoilers, it won’t be a good idea to read it.)

(Just to warn you guys, for those of you who care and haven't seen Guilty Crown up to about episode 16, my description all the way through, this bio contains a minor spoiler major spoilers for the series.)

Bio: Though Shu and Inori were never married, they lived happily together for a long time, and Inori gave birth to Kazumi a couple of years after the treaty was signed. Sadly, her father mother died of the Apocalypse virus when she was fifteen years old, so she now lives only with Inori Shu, who is emotionally distant a lot of the time was blinded in the process of saving the world from the Fourth Apocalypse. Like her parents, the now-seventeen-year-old is very quiet and reserved, though her overall personality matches Shu's more than Inori's—she has about a million insecurities, and doesn't yet realize her full potential. She stands at 5'2” and weighs 105 pounds (LOL what is it with almost all the other characters having such a low BMI?).

“Okay...” Kazumi said a little uncertainly.

When the red-headed boy, whom she knew from somewhere to be Kusarigama, came up to her and kissed her hand, Kazumi felt her face turning hot. She knew how red it must look, and this embarrassed her even more, causing her cheeks to turn even more red. Based on the way she had seen him interact with other people before, she shouldn't have been surprised by his gesture, but it still took her completely off guard. She tried to appear otherwise unaffected by it, and failed. “K-Kazumi,” she replied. “Um...nice to meet you.” She smiled awkwardly. (Not to say Kazumi likes Kusarigama, she's just a very shy and modest person.)

(OOC: Lol. I'll let Azure Flame or Damion Strife respond next, then I'll respond accordingly. Kusarigama really isn't a player or anything, he just doesn't want to meet the girl of his dreams and accidentally let love pass him by, having learned from the tragic romances of his parents. I wouldn't be opposed to a love triangle between the characters, but if anyone has any objections I'll have "Gum" back off. Also, I figure that, as a "weapon" himself, Kusarigama would work well with Kazumi, his void probably taking the form of either a scythe or a broom, perhaps even a combination of the two.)

Edited by Not-with-a-whimper

Takeshi felt himself get really angry when he saw the guy kiss Kazumi's hand. He inadvertantly activated his Mangekyou Sharingan, setting Kusarigama's pants alight with the black flames of Amaterasu. He then realized what he'd done and quickly extinguished the flame. A little blood had trickled from his right eye, which he quickly wiped away.

(It's okay, lol. Though Always and I do have a plan for our characters)

(OOC: Gotcha. :) It'll just be an isolated incident, then. Also, just curious, but if Anthony's the student body vice-president, then who's the president?)

Kusarigama jerked away immediately, his hands flying to brush off his pants, but long after the flames were already put out. "Did anyone see what happened just there?" he asked to the general populace. When everyone around him shook their heads in a confused manner he quickly attempted to reclaim what little dignity he had left, a difficult feat with Koneko giggling about it off to the side, and turned to face the new kid. "Well no worries. I'm Kusarigama, but everyone around here just calls me "Gum". Speaking of which, what are your favorite flavors?" he asked, taking the strap off of one shoulder and twisting his backpack so that he could access the contents inside. "I try to find out what everyone's "usual" will be and remember them by that from then on. Turns out that a person's three favorite flavors of gum can say a lot about the kind of person they are."

Edited by Not-with-a-whimper

Kazumi was shocked at what she had just seen. She looked to Takeshi suspiciously. He appeared a little angry, and she wondered if he had used his powers to light Kusarigama’s pants on fire, and why he would do that in the first place. She pushed the thought aside.

“‘Gum,’ huh? Interesting,” she said. “Hm, well I’ve never really thought about my favorite gum flavor, much less three of them.” She looked at the floor in concentration, then back at Kusarigama. “I’ll take watermelon, cinnamon, and green apple,” she laughed.

(OOC: Lol, I wasn't saying that the other people didn't see anything, they just didn't know the cause of it. Also, Damion Strife doesn't have internet right now, but he told me what to do in the next few posts. Echo, you might want to make another character because your story won't really get going for a little bit.)

Kusarigama quickly shuffled through his back pack and grabbed the three specified flavors. "Hmm, interesting," he said mysteriously. Suddenly, Mr. Goku burst in through the ceiling.

"Well hey there everybody! I hope that your first day back to school in a bit has been great so far! Okay, I need everyone to go ahead and find a friend to team up with right quick, okay?" Goku said to the crowd of students. Koneko, feeling bad for Jonah, went over to him to team up. Kusarigama was open to teaming up with just about anyone, but figured he'd end up teamed up with Anthony, especially if everything worked out the way he thought it would. Jykell looked really sad for a moment and he raised his hand.

"Huh? What's wrong nervous kid?" asked Goku.

"Well, what if I-I don't have a friend? Or a best friend at least," responded Jykell.

"Well then," Goku started, trying to think, "I'll be your friend!"

With that, Jykell's face lit up.

Cassius glanced at Kurono and sighed. "There's a grinding stone in the back, but do try to keep the place clean." Then, turning to walk up the stairs and resuming his violin solo, he called back "Kio, feel free to show Kurono around and to get prepared for the attack. It shouldn't be terribly difficult to stir up trouble, but don't take any chances. I can't afford to let anything go wrong with my plan at this point."

(Oh haha sorry. *edited*)

(ya thats probably a good idea although i have no idea whats going on with the good side of things)

(OOC: It's just a normal school day until about lunch time, when you and Kio will attack in the Neutral district, after which the "good side" will begin sending support in and things will start to get a little more interesting. School will still be kind of the hub of activity for the "good side", but things should become more dynamic soon. Anyone who wants to be a "bad guy" and join Cassius, feel free to approach either him or Kio.)

Takeshi had no idea what gum was, and before he could ask the teacher burst in. "Kazumi, would you like to partner with me?" he asked, smiling at her. He felt kinda bad setting fire to the guy, but he wasn't about to admit it if nobody questioned him on it. He wasn't even supposed to be there, so he didn't wanna draw too much attention to himself until he was allowed entrance.

OOC: Finally, something's about to actually start!

"Unfortunately, not all variables can be accounted for." The crimson man stepped out from behind the curtains of the music room, his brown eyes piercing through the light that shone through the window behind him. "You plan to infiltrate the Neutral regions with a child army to instigate hostilities." Archer let out a short, heavy laugh. "You may as well simply ask them to surrender. However," Archer took a few steps forward, out from the sun's glare. He stood a few feet from Cassius now, his face set in stone. "If you had an experienced soldier to lead this infant militia, you may be taking strides in your aims..."

Akihiko didn't like this one bit. He sat at the table of the corner cafe, Shin opposite him. The Evoker weighed heavy on his side as he examined the marks on his left arm once again. They appeared to be two half circles, one inside of the other, with a straight line coming up from the top. Archer had called the "Command Seals".

"It establishes your position as my Master." He had explained. "The seals are three absolute orders that can either restrain or reinforce the action of a Servant, to the point of making it perform an otherwise impossible action. If it is within the scope of the prana of the Master and the Servant, then it can be realized through the power of a Command Seal-backed order- even if it is something the Servant isn't normally able to do. However," he paused. "I do not anticipate that we will require their use."

"What, you think we'll be getting along?" Akhiko half-joked, although that would make it so much easier. Archer grinned.

"I think that these rebels will pose little to no threat once they enter true battle." And with that, Archer had vanished.

Akihiko sighed, leaning back in the chair. The thought of what may come to pass made him think about his school days and his time with SEES. The thought of having to fight again weighed heavily on him, although... Akihiko had to admit that he was looking forward to it. At least, slightly.

Cassius stopped playing his violin for a moment, the last note resonating in the air. "Oh, a visitor? Hmm, I don't believe I remember inviting you in, but certainly I must have simply forgotten. There are very few which would dare intrude upon my home," retorted Cassius. Continuing, he turned to look Archer with a calm, gentle smile on his face.

"I'm afraid that you've misunderstood my intentions, however. I wish to stir up no hostility between myself and others at this point. The slaughter in the Neutral District will serve only to draw out help from the Southern District. Particularly, a certain individual in which I have a fair amount of interest. Kio and his new friend will be on the more violent side of my plan, while I and the soon to be new recruit will be handling the more delicate side of things. I assure you, while we all may be young, we should not be trifled with. I'm actually thankful of the stereotypes and stigmas placed on my generation. Low expectations make everything so much easier. Now on to you, yes? I can't say as I've heard much about you or your works, but in my line of business that may speak even more in your favor than stories ever could. If you wish to work with me, I'd be happy to have more assistance, but be for warned that I don't plan on giving out details until details are necessary. I like to run a tight operation, you see, and I find that easiest when I am in direct control. Feel free to speak your mind, however, on any topic. Fresh views are always appreciated, and I am not one prone to being stirred to passions. You would be compensated duly for your assistance, of course. Well, what say you Mr...?" Cassius ended, his seemingly kind smile the face of grace itself.

Another grunting chuckle. He had seen plenty of players in his day, but this guy took the cake. "'Archer' will do." The Servant replied. "So, subterfuge is your game. I knew someone like you, once. She reached across the tables, picking cards out of her opponents' hands. In the end, she held every piece that she needed to meet her goals."

Even me.

"But do you know what happened?"

I happened.

"Free will. Choice." Archer chose his words carefully. One slip could shift this meeting from negotiations into a bloodbath. "You can't always trust those who work under you. And besides, you know what they say about the best-laid plans, right?" Archer's focus shot into Cassius. "A man in your position knows that there's a Judas around every corner. Now as far as I can see," Archer took a step back, grabbing a chair from the windowside table. He spun it around, falling back into the seat. Archer slung his arms back over the shoulders of the chair, crossing one leg over the other as he gazed absently around the room. "That whatever security you have in place can't keep out one man, much less an organized group. And it especially doesn't help," His concentration tightened for a second as he reached back for something solid. Archer's hand found a bookend, the Servant throwing it across the room. It knocked the doors open, the slamming sound eching through the hallway. He waited for a few seconds, notably counting them. Nothing. "That no one comes to the aid of the mastermind when something happens." He hunched forward, uncrossing his legs. "Cassius Nightroad... have you ever considered hiring a bodyguard?"

(Hmm... I actually think I wouldn't mind a love triangle. xD But it's up to you guys.)

Kazumi wondered at Kusarigama's mysterious tone and accepted the gum, putting it in her pocket. The teacher's theatrical entrance was one thing that didn't surprise her that much today—it wasn't something that was too uncommon here. She turned to Takeshi. “Okay, let's partner up!”

He smiled wide at her acceptance of his partnership. "Alright!" he said. "So, what are we doing?"

Kusarigama partnered up with Anthony, a knowing smile crossing both of their faces. Jonah stood next to Koneko, nervous about whatever was about to happen, but glad to have such a strong, and pretty, girl as a partner. Jykell smiled brightly, completely unaware of the turn of events coming his way.

"Okay guys! Now that everybody's all partnered up, face each other and shake hands," Goku instructed everyone, shaking hands with Jykell before turning back to face the rest of the students. "Now it's time to spar with your partners! Weapons and abilities are allowed, but do your best to keep from severely injuring or maiming your opponents."

Jykell's mouth nearly hit the floor. He would have to fight the teacher? And Mr. Goku at that? Jykell felt sick.

Kusarigama faced Anthony as they both took battle positions. Focusing, Kusarigama summoned forth some of his soul's energy and used it as material to construct an ARM identical to his scythe form, though less powerful. Anthony pulled out his pistol and readied himself.

Jonah looked scared witless, but Koneko punched his arm playfully and whispered to him "Don't worry, this one time I'll go easy on you. Later on, though, I'm gonna have to show you how to actually fight, because it's kind of sad to see you like you are now, especially when you clearly have a lot of potential."

(OOC: I'm totally cool with a love triangle, but it's up to Azure Flame on this one.)

Cassius placed his beloved violin gently into it's case before turning once more to face Archer. "You seem to be under the impression that I would need guards or security. I must say that you have raised some valid points. They are points I have considered before, but valid points none the less." The previously tossed bookend re-entered the room, floating back to it's previous and proper location with a simple gesture from Cassius.

"I have full confidence in my brother's loyalty to me, but as my organization grows, it may begin to enlist... unsavory members. For cases such as those, surely it would be helpful to have someone close at hand on which I can rely, but tell me this. How am I supposed to trust a person who's primary master is someone else? Surely not by faith alone in your good intentions. I'm afraid that if we are to take this conversation much further I must first meet the "man behind the curtain" so to speak," Cassius ended, a pleasant smile once again returning to his face.

Anthony looked over at Kasarigama, he began spinning his gun around his index finger, and smiled. He ran with all his vampiric speed and launched himself thirty feet into the air. He then set his sights for Kasarigama but held his fire.

Jonah felt sick, but then smacked himself in the face. "YEAH!!! I'm gonna do this!!!" he yelled. He then ran as fast as his legs would carry him in Koneko's direction, but fell flat on his face. His gum slid out of his mouth and he picked himself up. His face was red as all get out, but that didn't stop him from running at Koneko again anyway.

Kio walked outside to the grindstone, he looked up into the sky, and said," There seem to be a lot of ravens out today. They've always been my favorite bird, most seem to think that they are a bad omen, but not me. Me, I see this as a sure sign of victory...." He looked down and said," Have you ever killed anyone?"

(As long as Takeshi wins, I'm fine lol)

Wait, I'm gonna have to fight Kazumi!? he thought. I don't wanna fight her! I thought we would be teaming up! He was nervous, not because he thought he would lose, but because he didn't want to hurt her.

"Why is he not shooting?" thought Kusarigama. Not willing to let his sparring partner keep this kind of distance from him, "Gum" quickly shifted the form of his weapon from his scythe mode to the broom of the west wind, his mother's primary ARM. He then tossed it forward and jumped on it, riding the broom up into the air like a skateboard. He popped the broom to where the back end was facing Anthony and fired a few bursts of wind in his direction.

Koneko pulled out her sword and swept it forward, leaving an arch of energy in it's wake heading straight for Jonah.

Jykell immediately surrounded himself with Vector Plates facing outward so that Mr. Goku couldn't approach him, but Goku soon realized as much and began shooting kai blasts instead, which Jykell did his best to block with Vector Arrows.

Kurono knelt next to the stone and started sharpening her knife. " In this world it is only kill or be killed, only the strong the strong survive the weak shall perish." She said, Kurono had come to the realization after watching her father, a mere puppet come into the control of every person he met. She vowed to be stronger than him, to be one of the strong ones. She quickly finished with her dagger and stood up. " Are you ready?" She asked.

"My primary master at the moment is a police detective with the UIPF." Archer stated nonchalantly. "You may have heard the news from the northern sectors lately. You know, the murders." Archer never lost his cool. Death was just another aspect of his life, regardless of who the victim was. "I'm simply playing bounty hunter. You are free to confirm this yourself. His name is Akihiko Sanada. I'll even arrange it for you." He grinned, no emotion behind his smile.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"So, when do you think Archer'll be back?" Shin sat across the table, stacking sugar packets. He was on twenty-three when it collapsed again. Getting better...

"Whenever he's done." Akhiko checked his watch. It was getting close to noon now. "But don't worry, we won't be sitting here, waiting for him. He'll find us whenever he's ready." Akihko flagged down one of the waitresses, opening the menu that lay in front of him.

Anthony expected no less from Kasarigama, and began dodging the air waves. One caught him in the middle of a roll and slamed him against the wall, but he was prepared and fired his pistol in a pentagram formation at the broom.

Jonah tripped once more, the blast missed him by centimeters, but it didn't scare him away. He stood back up and ran at her once more. Once he finally reached Koneko he remembered something his dad taught him..Son under no circumstances are you to ever, ever hurt an innocent girl. He then froze infront of her and raised his hands into the air.

Kio looked at Kurono and smiled. "I was born ready! Try to keep up with me though, I've bribed the guards to give us a time window. Once we get through the gate we only have seventeen hours to do what we need to do, and then get back inside," Kio said," That means we have to stay close together. I've also instructed one of the guards to get Cassius exactly four hours after we've done our part."

Cassius sighed. "Alright. I think you've quite made your point. There will be no need in me meeting your primary master as of now, I'm beginning to think a man of your calibur might be useful, but first you must answer me this how am I supposed to be able to trust a man who is willing to betray one master for a new one? How am I supposed to know that you won't just go right back around and do the same to me?" Cassius paused, but then answered himself," Nevermind, nobody would be stupid enough to dare cross me. I think you'd make a find bodyguard Mr. Archer. So long as you're ok with my plans."

Koneko leaped backwards and prepared to do a series of slashes towards Jonah, but paused when she saw him standing there with his arms up in the air. She blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't just seeing things, and then lowered her sword, a confused look on her face. "You know, you really weren't doing all that bad. Your speed helped you get up close and could have helped you more in the long run, so why are you giving up?" she asked.

Kusarigama saw that Anthony was about to shoot, and to deflect, even just slightly, the bullets headed his way, he leaned down and grabbed the broom in both hands, his feet dropping off of it so that he was simply holding it like an incredibly long bat in mid-air. With all of his might, Gum swung the broom, creating a large gust of wind that displaced the bullets, though one clipped his shoulder, causing him to lose grip on the broom with that arm. He used his remaining good arm to toss the broom underneath himself once more, hopping on it and speeding straight for Anthony.
