The Anime World: Second Generation

Posted

The Idea: This RP is about what would happen if all anime existed at one point in time. However it isn't about your normal everyday anime characters.

Introduction: A long and terrible war was waged between the forces of good and evil, it brought a huge death toll to many of the nameless characters, and then finally at the end of the war all of the nameless side characters were erased. The five strongest people on both sides decided it was time to reach a conclusion, and after months of delegating they formed a treaty. The world had been pretty much devestated except for the country of Italy, so they divided it into three parts, and built two walls. The wall that divided Central Italy from the south was made by the good guys, the wall to the north was made by the bad guys, and the neutral anime characters took the small center. (The neutral anime consist of all the anime that use cards or monsters to fight for them, and it also consists of Death from Soul Eater seeing as how Death affects everyone.) The good and neutral countries turned to democracy, but the evil country to the north decided to split into five different districts under each of the five heads of power and they all fight for control of the territory. The rules of the treaty are simple, anyone alive at the time of the signing of the treaty isn't allowed to leave their country, and this left the fate of the future on the shoulders of the second generation....

Rules: The RP takes place 19 years after the signing of the treaty, if you want your character to be able to move around and have significance they must be 19 or younger, and if they are older than 19 they will be stuck in the country until crap hits the fan near the middle of the RP. No OP'ing your characters, no controlling other people's characters, and keep it PG-13. Also if one (or both) of your parents die in their respective anime, they ARE NOT allowed to be alive anywhere during your character's life. They don't have to die the way they did in the show, but they have to be dead. You don't have to make your parents cannon, they can be from two completly different anime, or from the same anime. If anyone takes a character or two that you want you can simply make yourself an illegitimate child who has nothing to do with the family, or ask the person if they are ok with having a younger sibling. (Have Fun!!)

Character sheets will be made like the following examples.

Character Name: Anthony Nightroad

Character's Parents' Names: Abel and Astha Nightroad

Bio: After the signing of the treaty Abel Nightroad gave up his need for revenge, and decided to settle down with Astha who had been giving him signs of interest lately. They moved into the center of the Nation, and had a son they named Anthony. He grew into a goofy, flirty, and overall happy child. He is currently 18 years old, is about 5"9 and a half, weighs about 145, and is second in his class. He is excited about his senior year and hopes that it goes by fast so he can pick a career. Being part Vampire he has pretty sensitive skin, but his father's genes keep him from burning up in the day time. He uses a gun fairly well, but his best quality is hand to hand combat. He is currently unable to go into Crusnic form due to never drinking Vampire blood, but he has the abiltiy to.

Abilities and draw backs: His healing factor is incredible and he can take on more damage than any human, he is as fast as a vampire, and he has the sharpest eyes. He is level headed and thinks calmly, but when he is enraged he becomes irrational and dangerous.

Weapon(s): A six shot pistol and a Colt .45

Allignment: Good

Jonah looked down and said,"I can't fight innocent girls." He stood there waiting for a response.

Anthony saw Kasarigama heading for him and flew in at him with his arms wide open. He flew faster hoping to tackle him off of his broom.

"Just think of me as an enemy then!" Koneko half-shouted at Jonah. She was exasperated. She pulled her sword up from the ground and charged at him. "Well you'd better be willing to fight, otherwise this is gonna hurt!"

Jykell knew that Mr. Goku was only using a fraction of his power, but still he was happy when Goku looked bewildered for a moment before deciding to attack with more force than before. That was, of course, before he realized that that meant that Mr. Goku was going to be attacking harder. Then he wasn't so happy. It wasn't necessarily that Jykell was the best of fighters, it was more so that he simply knew what he had to do and when to do it to get the results he desired. Not just in fighting either. Jykell had found that as long as there is a certain amount of fundamental order, the future could be fairly accurately predicted, something that he took great comfort from because he was so bad at dealing with change.

Kusarigama popped the body of the broom up at the last moment so that the metal pole was between his and Anthony's bodies, with Kusarigama in the much more comfortable position, as Anthony's face was soon to hit the metal broom if nothing were done about it.

Jonah immediatly jumped at Koneko, and kicked at her knees.

Anthony allowed the metal broom to hit his face, it hurt a bit, but due to his rough vampire skin it wasn't bad enough to render him unable to turn his head over. He then placed his shoulder against the metal and began to wrap his arms into a bear hug.

(Hey guys, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm going to have to drop out of this RP. As some of you already know, my life just got really crazy, so I'll hardly have any time to come to this forum for the next few months, much less participate in multiple RP's. I'm really sorry. :()

(I really hope that everything in your life gets better! We'll miss you here. I suppose Azure Flame could either take control of your character or just say that the two of you fought and one of you one before leaving her to kind of fade away.)

Kusarigama definitely didn't see that coming. He came to the conclusion that unconventional enemies required unconventional tactics, and so he leapt off of his broom, leaving it to dissipate back into his soul energy and return to him before calling it out once more in scythe form. It was then that he used a trick he had recently picked up, self soul resonance, and activated Witch Hunter, albeit a less powerful version than one used by a weapon and meister.

Koneko jumped over the kick, but just barely, and pulled a front flip, spiraling her sword around with her to attack, her body now over Jonah's head and the sword spinning to hit him from the back. She was glad that it seemed like he was finally serious.

(OOC: I'm so sorry to hear that, but I hope that everything gets better for you. In times like this it's best to take care of you. So, we'll all give you space and be sending ya good happy thoughts. I would normally say if you need to talk we're here, but seeing as how this is a website and not all of us know eachother very well I thought that maybe that might come across as awkward. Sorry for rambling on, I tend to do that.)

Anthony hadn't seen it coming and took the blow, he busted into a light on the ceiling, and smashed down into the concrete beneath the gym floor. He climbed out of it, his shirt was ripped up, and his pants had a good clean rip down the leg. He wasn't bleeding, except for a large gash on the left side of his chest, and that caused him to activate an immediate reflex. He grew furious, his muscles tightened up, and he flew infront of Kasarigama with dark gold eyes filled with hate. Then the bell rang, and he immediatly dropped to the ground. He smiled as though nothing had happened, grabbed up his things, and rushed out the gym doors as though nothing had happened at all.

Jonah quickly turned around but took the sword in the jacket, luckiliy it just grazed him, and didn't send any blood flying. He then jumped up and whipped out his gun, but before he could pull the trigger the bell rang. He then landed, and looked at her with an awkward smirk. "Ya know that was the first time I actually almost did something!" he said with a grin. Then he grabbed his things and ran off.

Kurono nodded. " Then there is no time to waste." She said walking back onto the dark damp street. She glanced at the slivery moon. Clouds were coming in and starting to cover it. " Well the night is on our side." She said quietly then looked at Kio waiting for him.

  • Author

By the time Kio and Kurono had infiltrated and were ready to finish the mission, it was just time for P.E. to end in the Good Nation. "Alright, I've placed explosives on Yugi Moto's house, Ash Ketchum's place, and Jaden Yuki's. Are you ready Kurono? Cuz as soon I blow this up everyone will be on our tails. Cassius will be here in a few, and we'll be able to move on to phase two. So, are you ready?" he asked.

" Ya.... wait whats phase two?" She asked but it was too late to talk there were explosions coming from the targeted houses. " Get 'im!" She heard Kurono didn't take the time to look at Kiop and sprinted down the street pretty sure Kio was right behind her. " Where are we running to exactly?" She asked.

  • Author

"We're headed for that manhole! We'll jump in and lose them. Once we do, swing a right, and then we'll head topside up the third manhole. Cassius will meet us there with a change of clothes. Phase two will commence as soon as we get changed. Then we'll walk to the northern side of town, while Cassius heads south, and then we wait for the Good Nation to bring their support," Kio said, by the time he finished he'd already opened up the manhole and held it up for Kurono to jump in.

Kurono dissapeared into the manhole paused for a second then ran right. She shivered slightly in the new damp enviroment. Her fet made small splashes in the pools of collected rain water. She counted three manholes then climbed quickly up the ladder new warm clothes on her mind. Kurono didn't really like the rain, or getting wet for that matter. She slid the cover off and peaked her head out. She looked back to make sure Kio was behind her then climbed up the rest of the way and stood making sure they had lost the people chasing them. She could she smoke from where they had started. Kurono couldn't help but smirk slightly. " Piece of cake."

Kusarigama and Koneko headed towards their Bladesman class, while an exhausted Jykell limped slowly off to his History of the Nation class along with Jonah.

(After everyone says where they went to third period it'll be lunch time and then an announcement will be made that will start more dynamic events.)

Kio looked at her and smiled. "Told ya. Next part is even easier, all we gotta do is sit and wait for good guys, and as long as you stick with me you'll be fine," he said with a huge grin. He ran into a house and came out dressed in a tuxedo. "Ok, come on. We're brothers but do we have to dress alike?" Kio asked. "Brother, we aren't. Your suit is black, mine is white. See?" Cassius asked jokingly. He then put on a straight face and began walking south, and began playing his violin. Kio looked at Kurono and said," Guess he's in a good mood. I almost never see him play in such a fast pace. We'll we'd better get moving." He walked slowly North and then whispered, "Try to act like a civilian."

Anthony stepped into class and began punching the concrete slab with his name on it with all his might.

Jonah sat in class and opened his book. He was excited that class would start soon, and hoped that the person sitting next to him would be cool.

(Although I don't really like it, I'm going to have to leave this RP too. My character was too involved with Always's character for me to continue without her.)

(OOC: I understand your reason for leaving, but if you could maybe either write off his connections with her and focus on making new connections or create a new character, then that would be great. Everyone's about to be sent to help out the neutral district and that's when the story will really get started.)

Jykell looked around his class for an empty seat and found that while elsewhere there were many students, the seats next to Jonah were strangely unoccupied. Wishing to stay away from as many people as possible, he went over and took a seat next to Jonah, smiling as he did so.

(Maybe I can create a twin brother for him. That way I can also get the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.)

(I'm sure Damion Strife would be cool with it.)

(That's cool with me! Up to four characters per person so that would be excellent.)

OOC: It is so hard to get anywhere around here these days! Missed a bit...

Archer stood on the sidelines, watching the smoke billow up into the pouring skies. He couldn't approve of such terror tactics, but if his Master ordered him to stand by, then...

"Damn." Archer closed his eyes, feeling the rain drops pelt his body. So it was beginning. And yet, what was the expression? "You can't make an omlette without breaking a few eggs"? A crude and heartless view of the events to come, but the spirit of the saying rang true. If a few must suffer for the whole to survive, then so be it. It's not like he hadn't found himself in that situation before...

Igor felt the presence before he saw the form. He sat in his usual place, his eyes burning into the shadows. The sound of armor clanking cut through the soft music that was playing around them. "I have been expecting you, though I must admit I'm surprised that your master isn't with you." The clanking stopped, its owner standing in the dark hall before the room. Margaret remained seated next to her master, Elizabeth and Theo moving closer. "I understand why you are here, as well as who sent you. The need for such formalities is trivial." His face was uncharacteristically sharp and narrow, an expression the servants had never seen. "Margaret, show our guest the door." The woman stood, her ellow eyes glowing as the angelic figure materialized before her. Order's silver wings radiated light, though the shadows remained where they stood. As expected.

A sword pointed out from the darkness, as black as night. Red lines ran down the edge, blood trailing the design before running to the velvet rugs beneath. Theodore and Elizabeth moved around the sofa, taking their places by their sister's side. The cards they rose to their foreheads shone as the armored form stepped forward, the darkness following. Igor flicked his wrist outward, a card flying out from his sleeve. He caught it, revealing the angelic figure that donned its face. "Persona!"

Kurono followed Kio zipping up her jacket. " Do you think they will send support?" Kurono asked after they had been walking for a while. She watched the choas swarm throughout the city as people scrambled to put out the fires. She could feel the faded heat of the fires and smoke on her face, it felt strangly good.

(OOC: Accepted! Sorry I was gone so long, my mom just had surgery and needed help with my siblings. It shouldn't happen again.)

Kio looked at her and smiled. "You know what? The world my brother and I dreamed up together is beautiful, no hatred, no violence, and no pain. I want it to come as soon as possible, and this will jump start it. Ya know? It'll be great, what future do you dream about?" he asked. The fire spread house to house, Kio had no idea that the Neutral Nation didn't have a fire department, but he knew deep down in his heart that Cassius had a deeper plan behind it. This was necessary.

Jonah smiled and said, "Hi! My name's Jonah! Didn't I see you fighting Mr. Goku?" Gohan hadn't walked in yet, so Jonah knew it was ok to talk for a bit.

Anthony was in the middle of beating the crap out of his slab of concrete when he noticed a couple teachers running down the hall.

Edited by Damion Strife

" So.... your using violence to create a world with no violence?" She asked confused by how that would work out, but she shrugged and let it go watching the smoke rise up into the air. "Shouldn't the support be here soon?" She asked her eyes dancing with the reflection of the bright orange flames. Who knew this place was so flammable. She mused to herself wrapping her jacket tighter around herself.

Archer materialized behind Kio and Kurono, his eyes on the blaze in the distance. Cassius had said that they would be instigating an uprising, not destroying houses. This was nothing close to what he signed up for. And yet... orders were orders. "My lord." Archer's eyes held contempt for the man and his deeds, but his voice never faltered. "I believe our work in this area is done. Do we not have other duties in this region to attend to?"

Akihiko was surprised when his phone began ringing. He pulled it out, checking the number. "Who is it?" Shin asked, trying to look at the screen while avoiding the pedestrians around them.

"I don't know. It's a blocked number." Akihiko flipped the phone open, the voice on the other end begining to talk immediately. That empty voice could only belong to one person.

Detective Sanada. This is Margaret. It was weird. Her voice wasn't even distorted by the speaker. It was as if she were standing next to them. I regret to inform you that the Velvet Room's services will not be available until further notice. We apologize for any inconveniences. And with that, she hung up. Akihiko stood in the middle of the sidewalk, about to speak, but instead closed the phone and returning it to his pocket.

"It was Margaret. Come on." The pair worked their way through the streets, cutting through alleyways before stopping at a plain brick wall. While it didn't look like much, it hosted one of the many entrances to the Velvet Room across the country. However... there was no door. Akihiko pressed himself against the wall, trying to find any clues as to what happened. Shin stood back, unsure of what to do. "It's gone. It's just... gone." He stepped back, unsure of what to do now. Wait for Archer, most likely.

OOC: Igor's pretty much done his bit. He was really a set-up character than anything. He's on off my list.
