The Anime World: Second Generation

Posted

The Idea: This RP is about what would happen if all anime existed at one point in time. However it isn't about your normal everyday anime characters.

Introduction: A long and terrible war was waged between the forces of good and evil, it brought a huge death toll to many of the nameless characters, and then finally at the end of the war all of the nameless side characters were erased. The five strongest people on both sides decided it was time to reach a conclusion, and after months of delegating they formed a treaty. The world had been pretty much devestated except for the country of Italy, so they divided it into three parts, and built two walls. The wall that divided Central Italy from the south was made by the good guys, the wall to the north was made by the bad guys, and the neutral anime characters took the small center. (The neutral anime consist of all the anime that use cards or monsters to fight for them, and it also consists of Death from Soul Eater seeing as how Death affects everyone.) The good and neutral countries turned to democracy, but the evil country to the north decided to split into five different districts under each of the five heads of power and they all fight for control of the territory. The rules of the treaty are simple, anyone alive at the time of the signing of the treaty isn't allowed to leave their country, and this left the fate of the future on the shoulders of the second generation....

Rules: The RP takes place 19 years after the signing of the treaty, if you want your character to be able to move around and have significance they must be 19 or younger, and if they are older than 19 they will be stuck in the country until crap hits the fan near the middle of the RP. No OP'ing your characters, no controlling other people's characters, and keep it PG-13. Also if one (or both) of your parents die in their respective anime, they ARE NOT allowed to be alive anywhere during your character's life. They don't have to die the way they did in the show, but they have to be dead. You don't have to make your parents cannon, they can be from two completly different anime, or from the same anime. If anyone takes a character or two that you want you can simply make yourself an illegitimate child who has nothing to do with the family, or ask the person if they are ok with having a younger sibling. (Have Fun!!)

Character sheets will be made like the following examples.

Character Name: Anthony Nightroad

Character's Parents' Names: Abel and Astha Nightroad

Bio: After the signing of the treaty Abel Nightroad gave up his need for revenge, and decided to settle down with Astha who had been giving him signs of interest lately. They moved into the center of the Nation, and had a son they named Anthony. He grew into a goofy, flirty, and overall happy child. He is currently 18 years old, is about 5"9 and a half, weighs about 145, and is second in his class. He is excited about his senior year and hopes that it goes by fast so he can pick a career. Being part Vampire he has pretty sensitive skin, but his father's genes keep him from burning up in the day time. He uses a gun fairly well, but his best quality is hand to hand combat. He is currently unable to go into Crusnic form due to never drinking Vampire blood, but he has the abiltiy to.

Abilities and draw backs: His healing factor is incredible and he can take on more damage than any human, he is as fast as a vampire, and he has the sharpest eyes. He is level headed and thinks calmly, but when he is enraged he becomes irrational and dangerous.

Weapon(s): A six shot pistol and a Colt .45

Allignment: Good

Senshi had followed his brother through the Senkaimon and was exploring around. He noticed the teachers running around and decided to follow them.

Takeshi left the classroom and looked around. He thought he saw his brother run after some teachers, and decided to follow as well, wondering what he was doing here.

Kusarigama, Koneko, and Jykell all left their individual classes after there was a large amount of fuss to go to the cafeteria, the largest section of the school where apparently everyone was gathering for an announcement. Kusarigama was confused when he saw what looked like two of the guy he'd met before both at the same place, but wrote it off for the time being, waiting for a message from the principal of the school, Ichigo. Something terrible must have gone down, because everyone looked as serious as Death. Well, looked as serious as Death the Kid, Kusarigama corrected himself. Lord Death was much less serious.

Jonah stood by Anthony and asked, "What's going on?"

"Just pay attention, we'll find out..." Anthony said.

Ichigo's voice came on over a loud speaker, "Students and faculty. Today at 11:55am a series of explosions went off in the Neutral Nation. They lost the three heads of their government, how these explosions were caused is currently under investigation, but what we do know is that there were sightings of only two suspects. Fires have broken out all over the Nation, our Nation has decided to send out relief teams, and if you are able to we need water magic or water jutsu specialists to fight the flames. Kusarigama, since you are currently class president, and a magic user you need to lead the squad of water magic and water jutsu specialists. Anthony Nightroad, you are vice-president so you will lead the group providing relief, and so you will be over who delivers what to what sectors. Alright, your lunch will be provided on the bus ride over. Classes are dismissed for the rest of the day." Anthony stood slack jawed for a moment, but then went up on stage.

"Alright. I need anyone who can't use jutsu or magic to come with me to bus #2. I'll be driving it since no adults will be going with us on this field trip," he said loudly. He bolted out of the door and started up the bus.

Kio looked at Archer and smirked. "Well the fun part is about to happen. The Good Nation is about to send a relief team, we'll wait here, and meet with their firefighting force. That's when the fun begins, its only a distraction, but we will fight them until Cassius has claimed his prize. Then, we retreat, and once we do the bigger plan comes into play," he said. He then looked at Kurono and said, "It seems kinda backwards, but if you look at the grand scheme of things it'll make since. The Good and Evil Nations could never co-exist. That's why we plan on wiping them off the face of the earth, and then we will make peace."

Cassius looked at the destruction that was in progress, he heard the screams of parents clamoring to save their children, and the beautiful trees burn to ash. "Soon, the world will be as such, but from the ashes a new world will rise," he said to himself.

(OOC: Ok, well if Igor somehow gets killed you can make another character for the long term.)

Kurono looked at Kio and nodded.

" Alright." She murmmered,

" So once the support comes whats our next move?" She asked giving Cassius an odd look after he spoke. Kurono started shifting her weight ready to get moving again.

"Its simple really. You three will provide a distraction, meanwhile I'll get the recruit we need to get my plans into full swing, and then we leave. All you need to do is wait for Kio's signal to evacuate, and then we'll meet up at the mansion," he said smiling.

Kio looked down. He didn't want to fight just yet, he fought the people of his nation easily because they were evil, but these guys just wanted to lend aid to their fellow man. His world was spinning, but a quick look at his brother and new friends snapped him out of it. He had no room for self-doubt, and this was going to be a huge fight. Like it or not he needed to treat them as though they were no less than garbage. "Alright brother, we'll be ready, you go on and prepare your trap," Kio said. Cassius nodded and started walking away from them once more. Kio looked at Kurono and asked, "Hey, would you like to quickly rob that ice cream place across the street? The owner ran off, and I mean...its gonna burn down soon anyway. So what do ya say?"

OOC: I shut down the Velvet Room. No access. He's as good as dead.

Terrorism. Murder. Thievery. Was there nothing this man would resort to? Cassius' very presence set Archer's heart ablaze with fury. His stone expression never changed, but his eyes felt as though they had caught fire. He watched the mastermind walk away, his attention turned to Kio. "I will aid in this distraction, but know that I won't take lives. You would need a Command Spell to make me do such a thing. Though I would imagine that only your brother would take issue with that."But his words didn't quite ring true. He would relish in the kill, if only his prey were what stood before his eyes.

A Champion of Justice. A foolish dream belonging to a foolish boy, and yet powerful enough to give rise to a Heroic Spirit. Even if they weren't his personal memories, Kiritsugu's words still echoed in his head. No one could save everyone. It was like grasping water in your fist. And the thought of that pained Archer more than any battle he had ever fought.

(OOC: I'm going to be honest, I got the impression that Archer was a d-bag earlier, so the last few posts with him kind of confused me.)

Kusarigama generally liked to keep a low profile around school and act like a normal guy, but it was true that he was the SGA President, and it was his responsibility to take the lead in situations such as this. "Alright, you heard them, the Neutral district's in trouble! Some of them probably had it coming to them, sure, but there were a lot of innocents there, too. All water and air users follow me, we'll try to get this fire under wraps!" Kusarigama headed out towards the bus and waited on the others, while Koneko and Jykell followed after Anthony.

(OOC: I figure that only Azure Flame's new character and Sora's Baby's character will follow after him, unless I'm missing someone. I'll message Sora's Baby, but if she doesn't choose to hop on here then we'll just continue the story.)

Anthony smiled and said, "Okay, Koneko I need you to work a stand that will give out blankets to women and children in the northern part of town away from the fires, and Jykell you'll need to work a food line a few blocks away." The bus was being loaded with the supplies. Anthony knew he would have to leave quickly. So he looked at them and slowly asked them to take their seats.

Kio looked at Archer and said, "Actually Cassius would love that you don't kill. It's too messy for his taste, me, I prefer that the people I fight in my past don't attack me in the future, and that's why I kill. We're just a distraction, so killing isn't necessarily going to be our game, but if I happen to kill a few people along the way I see it as a bonus. The more of them we cut down now, the fewer we'll have to fight later."

Kurono looked at Kio lacking emotion as she listened to him talk. Fewer enemies to kill later huh? It puzzled her how he could blindly follow his brother and yet have such a different view of how to do things, but then she was blindly following him. Kurono leaned against a lap post and noticed a police man looked at her suspiciously. She ignored it for now not in the mood to act like a distressed citizen.

"I may not know what's going on, nor am I actually apart of this school, but I'll do what I can to help!" Seichi said. He followed after Kusarigama, Zanpaktou in hand. "Drench my foes, Suikon!" he said, his Zanpaktou turning into a giant shuriken that he put on his back. He formed hand signs and said "Water Clone Jutsu!" A few clones came out of a nearby pool and followed behind him.

(Zanpaktou name is Suikon (Water Soul) Bankai Kanchu Suikon (Drenching Water Soul))

Kio looked at the icecream shop, ran in, and then came back out with three gallons of strawberry icecream and three spoons. He handed one to Archer and Kurono and smiled. He then sat down on the bench next to them and started eating.

Anthony looked at the goods and said," Twenty seconds." He then saw Jonah sitting behind him. "You"ll work the licensing desk with me. We'll get people's names, a list of property, and escort them to transport to be bused elsewhere," he said. Jonah nodded.

Archer took one look at the container in his hand before setting it on the bench next to Kio. "I have no need for food." He simply stated. It was true, but he didn't mention that this was no time for such trivialities. Lives were at stake, though the notion didn't seem to even faze these... these...

It was then that he felt it. So many people coming. So many people unaware of what awaited them. "I'm moving on ahead. They'll be here soon enough." Archer began to advance toward the approaching presences. If he could cut them off early enough, perhaps there would be enough bloodshed for the day.

Anthony looked around, and not seeing anyone extra in his bus decided it was time. "Alright, bus two is under way! Fasten your seatbealts, I'm not stopping for anything," Anthony said.

"Ummm, Anthony...there aren't any seatbelts..." Jonah said in a nervous voice.

"I know that!" Anthony yelled as he pushed hard on the gas. The bus took off like a rocket, heading north towards the border, and towards the innocent who needed them. Meanwhile, all that was going on with Jonah was the scream of a frightened eight year old girl.

Kio popped his neck and looked at Archer. "Alright, I'm gonna stick with the plan and chill here. They'll be driving buses, and I don't know about you but if one of those hits me its pretty much game over," he said looking up.

Kusarigama put his bus in gear as well, heading straight for the area with the fire as fast as he could.

(OOC: AnsemTheWise, if you're gonna stop people, now would be the time. Otherwise, the wheels on the bus will keep a goin' round and round.)

Kurono looked at the spoon and shrugged twirling it absent mindedly in her left hand. " I'll remain with the plan as well." She said wondering what it would feel like to be hit with a bus. " I would never have guessed the support would be so quick to respond, but i guess thats the good side for ya...." Kurono sighed thinking of way to inflict damage with a spoon.

Kio smirked finishing his ice cream, and then chucked his spoon into the ice cream sign making it bust through. He then proceeded to do push ups and practicing with his sword.

OOC: Alright! Time to stop a bus! How many other people have ever said that?

Archer stopped in the middle of the street, the inferno directly behind him. They would have to come this way. There was no other path. Now that that problem was resolved, the next arose: how do you stop a... no, two... buses? The answer, this time, actually came from his own words of wisdom.

If you face an opponent that you cannot defeat, then visualize something that will allow you to defeat him.

The irony of the statement didn't go unnoticed, but now wasn't the time for reflection. It was time for action. Archer closed his eyes, feeling the masses of life moving closer, their speed alarming. Visualize something that will allow you to defeat him. Something that could stop a speeding bus. A barracade of some kind. A wall of swords. "Trace... on." A red light shone overhead, hundreds of swords raining down in front of him. They drove into the ground, creating a wall of steel the width of the street. Archer's head began to swim. He hadn't used this much power at once in a long time, but it wasn't over yet. Something told him that the wall wouldn't be enough. He needed a Plan B. The Servant knelt down, bringing a hand to his heart.

I... am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.

He needed something that could stave off anyhing that was brought before it. He only knew of one thing that was capable of such a feat. He opened his eyes as the pink burst illuminated the area. The Rho Aias hovered before him, Archer grabbing the ephemeral shield, watching as the vehicles sped into view. This thing stopped Hector's spear in the Trojan War, an unbelievable feat. Not only that, but it stopped Lancer's Soaring Spear.

Yeah. It could take a bus.

Seichi saw the swords crash into the gound and then saw the shield. "Looks like someone doesn't want us going through." he said. "Well, I doubt he could stop me." He opened up a window and hopped out, pulling himself to the top of the bus. He formed hand signs and said "Water Style: Hardened Water Drill!" A whirlpool formed around his arm and he jumped out toward the swords. His water clones followed suit, working together to try and get a hole in the swords.

Kusarigama cursed under his breath, an incredibly unusual thing for him, then slammed on the breaks as hard as he could. "Well, ladies and gentlemen, looks like we'll have to go on foot from here. Avoid the swords, shield, and the man undoubtedly behind them both at all costs. We've got some fires to put out!" At that, all of the students currently in the bus headed out, while Kusarigama flew out and around on the broom, using it's wind based powers to snuff out the flames in vacumes.

Archer released the Rho Aias, the glowing shield leviatating in front of him. The pink radiance form its glowing petal reflected off fo the blades in front of him, bathing the area in a serene light, the view clashing with the flames around him. It seemed these people wouldn't give up so easily. Kanshou and Bakuya materialized in his hands with a red flash, the married blades glistening in the conflicting light.

These people, whoever they were, couldn't be allowed any further than here. Kio and his motley crew were waiting for them, and Archer had a pretty good idea of his intentions. "Turn back, now!" The Servant shouted, his voice booming over the inferno. "This is your only warning."

Kurono watched the scene with the busses, " I'm stuck between thinking he is a mad man or genious." She thought outloud throwing down the spoon she deemed as worthless and pulled out her dagger. She looked at her own reflection in the blade then climbed up the lamp post for a better look. " Two busses, mostly people who can contorl water, I guess that was a little obvious." She said then looked down at Kio.

Kusarigama, upon hearing Archer's warning, mistook it for a challenge. "I won't let you hurt any of my fellow students! As the Student Government Association's President, I have a duty to protect them, and protect them I will!" he shouted. "Guys, avoid the battle and focus on eliminating the fires! Quickly, or else this entire district could burn down!" Facing Archer, Kusarigama proclaimed "I may not yet be a Death Scythe, but if I need to defeat you, then I'll take you on without hesitation!"

Anthony sped across the city, saw the road block, and hooked right. He was now driving with about an inch of space on either side down a tiny street vendor road. The bus finally stopped at the Center of town. "Ok, I need everyone to grab their booths, and start carrying over supplies. I want orderly lines at each booth, if the residents don't agree, don't offer them food. It's mean, but they need to be reminded that they are civilized people," Anthony said, he opened up the bus, and stepped out. Jonah followed him carrying all of the papers, and pens they'd need to get their booth started.

Kio looked at Kurono. "Alright, it appears that Archer has one of them occupied, and that leaves the other two. Alright, I'll take the one on the left. You take the one on the right. It's obvious that Archer didn't want them landing in our trap....brother won't like that. Remember. You don't have to kill, you just have to distract until I give the signal," Kio said. He jumped into the second floor of the building they were sitting infront of and he ran through it, drawing two of his three blades.

Seichi managed to drill a hole in the swords big enough for the buses and sent some of his clones to take care of the fires. Several different water style jutsu's could be seen used to put the fires out. "I should help that teacher guy." he said, going after Kusarigama.

(You do realize that you need a witch's soul after the 99 kishin souls right? And if it's not a witch's soul, the 99 kishin souls are forfeit.)

Koneko was off to the side, helping someone get their table set up.

Jykell set up his booth on the outskirts and tried to help people get their food and supplies in a nice, orderly manner. With all of their normal supplies gone, this aid was necessary for all of them. They continuously rushed his stand, though, pushing past one another and even fighting over the food. Jykell didn't know how to handle the situation with all of the people kept tripping all over themselves coming towards him. The last straw was when Joey Wheeler tripped and spilled his food all over Jykell, ruining his new clothes and totally invading Jykell's personal "sanity bubble".

"That's it!" Jykell yelled, his voice changing on a fundamental level, becoming much more harsh and vicious than it had ever been before. Vector Arrows shot up from around his feet in a storm, completely surrounding him in a vortex of blackness. When it'd dissipated, Jykell was no more. In his place, was Hyde. And it was time to have some fun with these slime balls for humans.

(OOC: I was under the impression that you could get the witch's soul, then the rest of the souls you needed. I didn't know that the witch's had to be the last one. I appologize, and will edit my post. Crap, now he won't be nearly on Archer's level.)
