The Anime World: Second Generation

Posted

The Idea: This RP is about what would happen if all anime existed at one point in time. However it isn't about your normal everyday anime characters.

Introduction: A long and terrible war was waged between the forces of good and evil, it brought a huge death toll to many of the nameless characters, and then finally at the end of the war all of the nameless side characters were erased. The five strongest people on both sides decided it was time to reach a conclusion, and after months of delegating they formed a treaty. The world had been pretty much devestated except for the country of Italy, so they divided it into three parts, and built two walls. The wall that divided Central Italy from the south was made by the good guys, the wall to the north was made by the bad guys, and the neutral anime characters took the small center. (The neutral anime consist of all the anime that use cards or monsters to fight for them, and it also consists of Death from Soul Eater seeing as how Death affects everyone.) The good and neutral countries turned to democracy, but the evil country to the north decided to split into five different districts under each of the five heads of power and they all fight for control of the territory. The rules of the treaty are simple, anyone alive at the time of the signing of the treaty isn't allowed to leave their country, and this left the fate of the future on the shoulders of the second generation....

Rules: The RP takes place 19 years after the signing of the treaty, if you want your character to be able to move around and have significance they must be 19 or younger, and if they are older than 19 they will be stuck in the country until crap hits the fan near the middle of the RP. No OP'ing your characters, no controlling other people's characters, and keep it PG-13. Also if one (or both) of your parents die in their respective anime, they ARE NOT allowed to be alive anywhere during your character's life. They don't have to die the way they did in the show, but they have to be dead. You don't have to make your parents cannon, they can be from two completly different anime, or from the same anime. If anyone takes a character or two that you want you can simply make yourself an illegitimate child who has nothing to do with the family, or ask the person if they are ok with having a younger sibling. (Have Fun!!)

Character sheets will be made like the following examples.

Character Name: Anthony Nightroad

Character's Parents' Names: Abel and Astha Nightroad

Bio: After the signing of the treaty Abel Nightroad gave up his need for revenge, and decided to settle down with Astha who had been giving him signs of interest lately. They moved into the center of the Nation, and had a son they named Anthony. He grew into a goofy, flirty, and overall happy child. He is currently 18 years old, is about 5"9 and a half, weighs about 145, and is second in his class. He is excited about his senior year and hopes that it goes by fast so he can pick a career. Being part Vampire he has pretty sensitive skin, but his father's genes keep him from burning up in the day time. He uses a gun fairly well, but his best quality is hand to hand combat. He is currently unable to go into Crusnic form due to never drinking Vampire blood, but he has the abiltiy to.

Abilities and draw backs: His healing factor is incredible and he can take on more damage than any human, he is as fast as a vampire, and he has the sharpest eyes. He is level headed and thinks calmly, but when he is enraged he becomes irrational and dangerous.

Weapon(s): A six shot pistol and a Colt .45

Allignment: Good

Kurono nodded, "Where to?" She asked the bells ringing loudly in her ears. She had a look of discomfort after the bells start and was ready to leave. Couldn't have a more obvious sign to leave could ya. She thought. " Hmm I didn't even have to do anything, how nice." Kurono smiled to herself.

Kio smiled and said, "We'll be running through the remaining flames. As fast as we possibly can though, it'd suck to get into a fight when we're home free." He pointed down the street and continued, "This street runs straight into our Nation's Main gate. We just need to avoid any falling buildings, and try to stay together." He started heading that way, but in a way that made his position obvious to her.

Jykell looked at Anthony, confused at the odd mix of emotions playing across it. "He said he could help me make things clean and orderly. I like clean and orderly. Don't worry, I'll make things better for everyone if I go with him, and I'll share this better world with all of you," Jykell finished with a smile. He then turned away to face Cassius. "Can we go to a better place now?"

  • Author

"Absolutly my good man, you heard him...now off with you," Cassius said smiling.

Anthony turned and walked away with Jonah tagging along beside him. "We'll meet up with Koneko and leave. Got it?" Anthony asked.

"Yeah...got it," Jonah replied.

Koneko met up with Jonah and Anthony, confused at the expression covering both of their faces. As she faced them, she asked, "What happened?"

"Jykell's gone...not dead...just gone," Jonah said with a sigh.

"He's with some guy...he seemed...evil," Anthony said. He pilled up the stuff in the bus, and then hopped in. "Come on, we're done here..." he said slowly.

Kio looked at Koneko and yelled, "Hurry not much time left the gates will close soon!" He quickened his pace, and jumped over the piles of burnt innocent bystandards.

Once he was done putting out fires, Seichi met up with the others. "Well, fires are out." he said. "So what now?"

Anthony drove up to Bus 1. It seemed like Kusarigama's group was all gathered together. "Alright, I think it's time to head back and give our report. Lets just say we saved about six hundred of the one million civillians, and that the fire was instigated by a group of unknown hostiles...we also need to note that Jykell has jumped ship," Anthony said to the group.

"Jykell? You mean Professor Stein's son?" asked Kusarigama. This was a harsh blow. Not only was Jykell an amazing fighter when he applied himself, but he was also an individual who had far more people relying upon him than he'd ever known. Kusarigama had no time to focus on that now, though. "Alright, you heard the Vice President. Everyone who came with me, return to the bus and we'll head back. I really wish that I could say that today was a success, but I do appreciate all of you for doing your best out there." With that, Kusarigama hopped back onto the bus, losing the bravado he'd held before and physically deflating.

Seichi went back on the bus and sat down. "This is certainly an interesting place." he said.

The ride back was quiet...Anthony drove fast, no music was played, and no conversations were sprung up... He realized they'd lost, and it was only going to get worse..

It turns out the chief had different plans than what he had suspected. Akihiko leaned back against the low wall in front of the school, a half-dozen officers a few feet away. "We already have officers on the scene." Akihiko mocked. "Make yourself useful and interview those kids. They should be headed back to the school. Why am I still doing this?" He closed his eyes, the images of the fires cutting into his thoughts. Whatever happened to the Akihiko Sanada who grabbed his Evoker and charged into battle? The one who crawled through Tartarus to fight Nyx? After he graduated, life just seemed to... mellow out. Joining the police, investigating a crime here and there. Life just became... routine.

But not anymore. Akihiko drew his Evoker, "SEES" gleaming in the sunlight. He would get to the bottom of what was happening, and these kids were the first step.

(OOC: I really don't know what to do from here, so I'm leaving it to Damion Strife to lead the story on.)

There was a huge crowd around the campus, all of the first generation, Anthony saw his parents amongst the crowd, and so he sped up and pulled into the parking lot. Immediatly Mr. Ichigo and Goku began pulling items from his bus. Reporters hounded him with questions, and he told them all the same.

"There appears to be a new force trying to cause a second war, our good friend Mr. Jykell decided to jump ship, and is now a member of this task force. Only six hundred of the once one million civillians survived from the capital of the Neutral Nations' burning, and the ones that did were in pretty rough shape. The fires have been quenched, but the pain those people will endure may last a lifetime. I'd suggest we pray for those lost, and try to move on. It's also apparant that the group's goal may have intentions of striking here, so buffing up our security may be a necessary step, and in doing so we will prevent any kind of terrorist acts in our own country," he said lowly.

(OOC: If it's ok with all the bad guys I'm going to have everyone at Cain's mansion. If not I can change it. )

Cassius looked at his team sitting down in the lounge. "Alright, today was a great and glorious day for our beginning. Soon, we will be able to take the Neutral Nation from right under the Good's nose, and then once we have taken it we shall strike at their heart. We will take out their heads of government, military power, financial power, and then we will strike at their heart...their precious school. Once we have finished, there will be one nation hosting many individuals, and then we will have peace and order," he said.

Kio looked up at his brother and smiled. His vision was fantastic, it was almost too good to be true, but there was one thing eating at his soul... He needed to ask his brother, and hoped that he wouldn't become angry. His look of distress then faded and he looked at Kurono, "Well that sure was fun huh?"

Archer stood outside of the room in the hallway. It was exactly as he had feared. Cassius Nightroad wasn't planning a simple reform; it was full-scale invasion. This was definitely something that Aki-

Archer stopped, his attention snapping to the presence at the end of the hallway. It was overwhelming. The dark power that radiated from it pulled the very air from his lungs, every part of his body telling him to run. But then he wouldn't be much of a Heroic Spirit if he did, now would he? Archer summoned Kanshou and Bakuya, the married blades singing as he crossed them in front of the door. Whatever this presence was, it was malicious in every way. Should he warn Cassius? Then again, if this thing slaughtered everyone in there it would save him a lot of work. But before he could consider any more alternatives, the figure stepped into the light. Archer's blood ran cold as his blades fell to the ground. A woman in bloodstained black armor advanced toward him, the black dress she wore underneath swaying with each step. Her blonde hair had paled since he last saw her, piercing yellow eyes replacing the vibrant emeralds in his memory. Red streaks crawled up her neck from beneath the armor, clawing up under her jaw. "S-" Was all Archer could get out as she stopped in front of him.

"My master requests an audience with this man." She stated coldly, her gaze penetrating the Servant between her and the door. "I will destroy you if necessary."

OOC: And here's my replacement for Igor.

Character Name: Saber (As a Servant, her True Name is withheld)

Character's Parents' Names: (Withheld)

Character's Appearance:Posted Image

Character's Parents' Apearances: (Withheld)

Bio: A Servant, like Archer, who serves in the Holy Grail Wars. Like Archer, she has been summoned using the remnants of the Grail's power form the War 18 years ago. Though once a holy warrior, she has been tainted by the darkness of both her master and the Grail.

Abilities & Drawbacks: Dark power courses through Saber now, increasing her strength exponentially. Like Archer, she has access to a Noble Phantasm, Black Excalibur. She is capable of extreme power, though her master is rarely in her vacinity, making it hard for Saber to replinish her mana. As such, she essentially fight using as little power as possible.

Weapon(s): Black Excalibur

Alignment: Evil

Akihiko pushed his way through the crowd, finally reaching Anthony. "Excuse me, my name is Akhiko Sanada, head detective with the UIPF. I have some..." He glanced around quickly, not wanting to draw attention. "questions... I would like to ask you. Can we move somewhere more private?"

(OOC: Accepted, but I want to make something clear. Cassius is currently not even using a percentage of his power. If he were to go into his Crusnik form at any level, it would be horrible. However, *spoiler alert* Cassius isn't the strongest thing out there.)

Cassius looked at her and smiled. "I don't believe we've met, my name is Cassius Nightroad, and this is my mansion. I'm afraid you've killed Jeeves. I'm not too happy about that, and my father will be home any moment. It's time you vacated my mansion, and go ahead and take Archer. He failed me incredibly today, I have no use for a fighter who won't fight in my new task force. So, you're fired," Cassius said with a smug grin.

Anthony looked at the man and nodded. "I'll answer any questions you need me to," he said.

"Thank you." Akhiko led Anthony around the corner, just far enough to be out of the suffocating crowd. He straightened his jacket a little. "We believe that this attack was the work of a man called Cassius Nightroad."

"We" was a pretty loose term. In reality, it was just a name that Archer had given Akihiko, but it was better than nothing. "I believe that Cassius is the one who... recruited.... your friend, Jykell. Can you tell me anything about him?"

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"Your butler attempted to interfere with my mission." Saber stated flatly, her eyes devoid of emotion. "I am to deliver a message to you, Cassius Nightroad. My Master wishes to support your cause. Should the time come, remember that the Immortal Legion is at your disposal." Wiht he rmessage delivered, Saber glared at Archer before vanishing in a wisp of black smoke. Archer turned away from the Servant's remnants with a "Hmph", addressing Cassius.

"I told you I would fight. You failed to mention that we would be fighting children."

"Ah but Archer you fail to understand where the power lies.Only two types of people can move between the magic that binds the first generation to their nations. The neutrals, and the second generation. When I said we'd be fighting, I meant it. We are fighting potential threats, those of the second generation can cause death, or peace. It's a nasty buisness, but killing the children is not only necessary but mandatory. I will not let anyone kill an infant or a toddler, but those over the age of five have been fed the thoughts of their parents and mentors. That makes them dangerous. Therefore, it lies on the shoulders of you, and the rest of my team to dispatch them. It's obvious you can't handle that...or can you?" Cassius asked. 'It appears that I have unexpected allies...how convienant,' Cassius thought.

"My last name is Nightroad though...I'm not really sure who that could be. Unless...my Uncle Cain is in the Evil Nation, it might be his child! But...that wouldn't be good, that wouldn't be good at all. I'd suggest looking up information on Cain to know what you may be dealing with when it comes to his son, and tell me if you get anything helpful. I promise that I will be open to any further questions or discussion in the future, but I think I must discuss this matter with my father," Anthony said quickly.

A tough position, to be sure. "I'll have you know... I don't kill children." Archer leaned back against the wall, resuming his earlier post. "I'll do anything else you ask."

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"Thank you, Anthony. You've been a big help." Akihiko let the kid go, heading back to the station. Cain Nightroad was public enemy #1, and yet no one even knew where he was. This was going to take more work than he had originally thought...

But at least he still had Archer.

Kurono nodded, this was way to easy but i have a feeling this was onyl the beginning. She thought grabbing Kio's wrist and sprinting through the streets ignoring any yells of suprise or orders to stop from police. " Do we have a safe house or something we are going to once we are back home?" She asked once the gate was within her sights. Her heart started beating faster, home, ew. She thought not wanting to have to see ehr idiot puppet father.

Kio remembered back when he and Kurono entered the gates. They made it back to Cain's mansion, and once everything had occured he looked at her and said, "So, how was that for a field trip huh?" Get your blood pumping?"

Cassius walked down the stairs and smiled. "Ok then, I want proof. Archer....I want you to assassinate President Naruto, tomorrow, publicly. He's well within middle aged, and it will serve as the best test since you're loyalty is in question," Cassius said with a devilish look in his eye, "Oh, and if you deny this....I might just have to cut the loose ends.."

Anthony smiled and ran off towards his parents, and once he told his father everything he knew. The family took off. Anthony, his father, and mother...all just left the school leaving no trace or trail.

A test of loyalty. He had expected something like this, but not at this scale.

Without a word, Archer vanished. He reappeared next to Akihiko, the detective almost falling back in his chair. Luckily, he had a private office. "Archer!" Akihiko checked outside thw windows, closing the blinds. He closed the large blinds, cutting them off from the rest of the precinct. "What're you doing here? I thought you were with the terrorists."

"Things have changed." The Servant took a seat in front of the desk, elbows on his knees. "Cassius is calling a test on my loyalty."

Akihiko took his place behind his desk. "I was afraid something like this would happen. I can't devote any department resources, but if you need any he-"

"He wants me to assassinate the president. Tomorrow." They sat in silence for a minute, Archer's words hanging over their heads. Akihiko took the phone from the receiver, punching a few buttons before leaning back in his chair.

"This is Akihiko Sanada, with the UIPF. I... have an urgent message for the President."

Kusarigama cursed himself under his breath for failing everyone so miserably. He was the President of the student body, yet he could barely do anything to stop what happened? Unacceptable. Making up his mind, he walked quickly to a window, steamed it up, and wrote 42-42-564. Taking two steps back, he awaited the answer to his call. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the window, the image of what was happening far away.

"Hmmm? Ah, Kusarigama! Long time no see, eh kid?" the odd looking figure said. Lord Death himself addressed Kusarigama once more. "What do ya need, kiddo? Today's kind of a busy day for me. Haven't seen this many souls at once in years!"

With that, Kusarigama hung his head. Then, resolutely, he set his jaw and looked straight into Lord Death's eyes. "I'm ready to grow stronger. Tell me Lord Death, where can I find a Vile soul?"

(OOC: Since this story is in a slightly different world from that of Soul Eater, plus the fact that Kusarigama's mother is kind of a witch, I decided to say Vile soul instead of Witch's soul. Plus, that leaves more potential enemies.)

Koneko was generally a very cheerful person, but due to the day's events she just couldn't seem to find it within herself. Walking along, she ran into Jonah. "Hey there, Jonah," she called. "How're you holding up?"

Jykell was, well, a little confused. To someone not accustomed to change, this was a lot of it, and fast. At a loss, Jykell turned to Cassius. "Hello, Mr. Cassius. Um... What should I do now?"

  • Author

"I...I'm ok. I just feel as though I let everyone down. I mean...I was...scared..." Jonah replied.

"Jykell, my friend now will be the time of great expansion. I want you to go to the rest of the Neutral Nation, wearing your school uniform. Then tell everyone to get in straight lines, and that you have something important to say. Remember the lines must be perfectly straight. Otherwise it's just no good. There are only four towns left hosting a deminished population. So they will not have any excuse not to enter town square. Once you have visited every town, come back here to me, and I'll give you your next assignment," Cassius said with a smile.

"Anthony...this is serious. You don't even know how often I prayed this wouldn't happen, but son...I have something to give you. It will probably cause you to change so I'm going to strap you to a wall. In the basement, I have a certain cylindar filled with nanomachines...these nanomachines lock in potential Crusnic power, and can also release it. I'm going to give them to you...then you are to go to the Evil Nation's Western state. In it you'll find all the vampires. Kill them and absorb their blood, only then can you defeat this Cassius Nightroad..." Able said softly. Anthony stood wide eyed but nodded and allowed his father to strap him to the wall. He would listen to his father, only because he trusted that he would never steer him wrong, and he wanted to defeat Cassius at all costs.

Jykell was so happy. Finally, someone who realized the importance of lines that are perfectly straight!!! He smiled a normal smile for an average person, but a large smile for him, and set out to complete his task.

Koneko grabbed Jonah's shoulders and looked him square in the eyes. "Look, what we faced today wasn't easy, and you had every right to defend yourself. If you want, though, I can help teach you how to fight."

(Damion Strife, it'd be great if you would control Lord Death for a little bit and pick a suitable enemy for Kusarigama to be his catalyst for his transformation into a Death Scythe.)
