I got an email from Square Enix with information where to preorder the game in Europe and according to one of the sites the release date is 7th September.

That's probably just a placeholder based off of BbS's release date.

I think I saw someone before the July 27th date was leaked show this site as *proof* of the release date (I'm not sure). But if they made that date before the leak it is definitely a place holder.
