Yesterday started out as a great day. All lucky and green all that then my girlfriend texted me saying her dad got hit on his motorcycle. I freaked out as much as her and her sisters did. When they went to the hospital and I stayed with my friends praying, they wouldn't let them see him cuz of his severe injuries. I got everyone praying for him and then in the middle of church she was called out for a while and she ran back and pulled me out with the most scared/sAd face ever. He had died in the hospital. Idk what to do now

I'm really sorry for you... I've lost a lot of my family from my mom's side... I don't really know what you could do, I suppose your girlfriend is really upset, so you should help her out and support her, and even give her space and time to grieve over her loss. I know this must be hard for both of you and it must of been unexpected, but I hope all does go well for you, and I'm sorry for sounding corny or cliched, I just wanted to help.

Aw I'm sorry, your girlfriend must be really upset. I never experienced death to someone close, but the best thing you could do if to try to cheer your girlfriend up. Bless your girlfriend's father, may he rest in peace.

Just be there for your girlfriend. Chances are, she may want to push away from you a little or be by herself. Respect her wishes understandingly and don't let her do anything dangerous. She's obviously in great pain, so just make sure you're there whenever possible.

 

Oh, and a little off topic; if you want to go into journalism, you've got a good shot. The gentle opening, followed by the ripping of our hearts away was quite powerful.
