Has anyone ripped the music from this game yet? I've heard it can be difficult with 3DS games, but I don't know the details.

If so, I'd prefer the tracks be unlabelled, to avoid spoilers. I'd say it's still likely too early, but I thought I'd ask just in case.

Oh, and I really hope this isn't considered piracy.

Thanks in advance!

It will happen soon enough. If it can't be ripped from the game, we'll have the soundtrack in a few weeks or so.

I hope it's ripped soon or the soundtrack be uploaded soon. I wanna hear the new "Calling" song from Traverse Town

The 3DS is impossible of being ripped. There are chances of line-in recording though but it's best to wait until April. More music and better quality.

Why is that? Does this sort of thing have a precedent? It seems to me that every system up to now could be ripped.

It's pretty easy. New hardware. Hackers have barely scratched the surface of the hardware. Nintendo constantly is updating the firmware strengthening the hardware even more that the small tidbits of work that hackers have done almost nothing.

No, it's very possible to record sound. I have a 3DS and I just plugged it into my computer via a 3.5mm male to male audio cable. I recorded it easily using hypercam.

The 3DS doesn't use new hardware. The hardware is from 2006.

It's only matter of time before music rips come in.

About you wanting the songs unlabeled. Considering the songs have no name, I doubt you'd have to worry about that (But wouldn't you prefer a name to a random jumble of letters and numbers?)

That's called 'line-in', Like I've said. :)

Well, I figured people might label each song based upon where it plays in the game, which would be spoileriffic.
