Summer has begun. For the kids of Twilight Town, that means no school and fun. For some, however, this summer will hold other things as well. A growing conflict is happening outside their world that they know nothing about, yet they will be drawn into it. Fate waits. Who is called?

 

 

Rules:

1: No controlling other peoples characters without their permission.

2: Keep language, romance, gore and so forth on a PG13 level.

3: No Godmodding unless it works for the story.

4: Maximum of 3 characters currently.

5: No killing each other without mutual permission.

6: Please post "Inbetween" at the bottom of your post to show you read the rules.

Key Concepts:

• This game starts at about the time Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream, Drop, Distance begins.
• The game starts with a group of kids in Twilight Town.
• Magic and actual weapons will come in as we play, so work it into your story.
• Your starting character can originally be from another world, but they are now a resident of Twilight Town.
• To start, travel between the worlds is not possible for the kids. This will open up as the story goes on.
• As the story goes on, I will allow players to make characters that are already Keyblade wielders, adventurers and so forth.
• Square Enix took and reimaged favorite Final Fantasy characters to fit KH worlds (i.e. Tidus, Waka, Seifer...). Don't be afraid to do the same with any Sqaure Enix, Disney or whatever character you want to bring in.

Personality: A little cold, tough, determined, and protective.

 

Bio: A highschool student known for her athletic ability, Claire Farron is an indepented girl that has few friends. Protective of her little sister, Serah, Claire learned to fight off bullies to protect Serah. Her skill at it lead to her tacking up practice fighting and she is currently practicing for the next Struggle tournament. She gained the nickname "Lightning" for her fast and powerful fighting style.

Noctis walked into the station. He still didn't know exactly how he ended up in the world. A name did come to mind though; This place is Twilight Town... Why exactly am I here? Noctis thought while walking up to the train tracks. Someone came to question him about purchasing tickets, but he quickly pulled out two of them from his pocket before the man could finish his sentence. "Sorry. I probably should've informed you that I purchased these already." Noctis apologized. But I didn't even know I purchased the tickets.

Minus walked up to the clock tower from the subway. She saw Dexer. "Good to know I'm not alone in this." Minus said to him coming up from behind him. "Now all we have to do is wait."

"The train won't be coming for a while, young man. I suggest you go find something to occupy your time while you wait." The man said.

"Do you have any suggestions?" Noctis asked. His voice had a strange formal tone.

"Well, you could always find someone to have a Struggle."

"Struggle? What's that?" Noctis stepped forward in curiosity. After the man explained what Struggle was and the rules, Noctis looked at the steps going up to the clock tower perch. " Where do those steps lead to?"

"The clock tower ledge where kid's like to hang out. You're new here right?" Noctis nodded in response. "Well maybe you should go up there and see if there's anyone you would like to talk to." The man smiled before walking away.

"Thank you." Noctis said before proceeding to walk up the stairs. The crystal inside of him glowed for an instant and a Struggle sword appeared in Noctis' right hand. Noctis dropped it on the edge of the last step and looked around the clock tower platform.

Can I still join? If I can I'd like to pick

Bio: After Cloud and Sephiroth disappeared in KH2, she had nowhere to go. She decided the best thing to do was to keep looking. After arriving in Twilight Town, she grew to love the place and mysteriously forgot about Cloud all together.

Stuff: Plain Old Black Gloves, but if she had to use a weapon it would be a struggle club.

Dexer grinned when she showed up. he was worried he would be alone in this either. Dexer waved and sighed "I am worried about this but I am still not going down with a fight, I have no idea what we are going to be facing I just hope we atleast have a chance against whatever this is." Dexer said as he leaned his bat against the wall. Dexer looked up at the sky and saw sunset. "Did that guy say what time this was all going down?" Dexer asked Minus

"The time.....is now." said "Xehanort", talking more clearly for the first time in front of others before then summoning a blade made of pure energy that he comments on by saying "This is my blade, the Kou Supreme, with it, when everyone that has been "chosen" has arrived, will i all test you in battle, be prepared until everyone has appeared." said "Xehanort", Making battle preperations against the young group of kids despite knowing that they were obviously kids.

Dexer was confused. "Why are you fighting us when you told us to come here for safety? Not very fair for you and your blades there to fight kids with nothing more then foam struggle bats. What is your deal?" Dexer asked as he picked his bat back up ready for battle if he decided to strike now

Minus glared viciously at him. He's going to kill us if he uses that in this fight. Dexer seemed to be thinking the same thing she was. Minus grasped her Struggle bat a little harder and went into battle mode. Battle mode is essentially when Minus' reflexes and senses become extremely sensitive. She didn't know how she got the ability, but Minus took it in stride. Suddenly, she felt the handle of it change. She looked down and saw that a beautiful, worn-down obsidian katana (http://s534.photobucket.com/albums/ee347/ThoranManagen/?action=view&current=Weapon_ObsidianKatanacopy.jpg&newest=1) lay in her hands where the Struggle bat had been formerly. A new mysterious voice whispered in her head. "You are not yet worthy of a keyblade. Your heart still has much cleansing. For now, you shall use your old blade, and with it some dark magic. A fight is coming soon, and you will be prepared for it. Your quest is to gain your keyblade. The man in front of you is who will empower you with the ability to pursue it." The voice whispered. It was frighteningly familiar and calming to Minus, so she trusted it, not knowing yet what a keyblade even was. "I am ready now." Minus said to the man's challenge.

Lexi pulled out her struggle bat out and approached the strange man. Glaring at him and not saying a work, she made her battle pose. Her eyes were locked straight at him as if he was a target. She knew that his weapon is no match against her struggle bat, but it didn't matter to her. She didn't trust him at all, but he must have the answer so maybe it is best to stick with him.

Lightning put a shielding hand between Serah and Xehanort, regreting following the others here. She felt she should have walked away when she and Serah had the chance. She might not now.

"What ever game you are playing" she snapped at Xehanort, "drop it. I've got no problem dropping you."

 

Serah took in a deep breath. She was, unfortunately, use to Lightning reacting this way. Though she felt, on this occation, her big sister was right. The burning feeling she had on her arm grew slightly like it had when she was swimming. Was this guy doing that?

"I think that is everyone except one, when he arrives, your test shall be begin." said "Xehanort", Referring about Balthier and once more, about this challenge he is giving the group of kids.

Dexer knew this wasn't going to be good either way so he looked at the guy "I am tired of waiting, if you plan on fighting us why wait for Balthier, if he was going to be here then he would be here by now. Lets just get this out of the way. This isn't a fair fight so what is one more person up for slaughter going to do" Dexer said keeping both options of winning and losing in his mind. "I will take you right now if it is a fight that will save everyone else on this world." Dexer looked on the ground and remembered the picture of his mom "I don't have anything to lose so how bout I fight you and everyone else gets to go safely off this condemned world?" Dexer offered holding up his bat and holding up his shielded arm

"....Very well then, however, first things first." said "Xehanort", as he suddenly transformed everyone with Struggle Bats for Weapons into different kinds of Weapons based upon their liking, he then says "Well then, how do you like them? this will give everyone a FAIR advantage.", said "Xehanort".

 

(Note: your Weapons can't be Keyblades but Weapons like a Sword and/or a Gunblade for examples.).

Dexer's bat then transformed into the Buster Sword. Dexer couldn't believe his eyes when it transformed. He was almost sad that he lost his bat but he could still feel the comfort from his bat inside this sword. He held it perfectly. It would be heavy for most but it was perfect for him, just how he liked it. Dexer's arm shield then turned metal and he even felt stronger like he stood a chance.

 

Dexer turned his cap around backwards and nodded, he was nervous but he knew it was to late now. Dexer took a deep breath closed eyes and opened back up as he lunged forward swinging his blade at Xehanort

A giant blue eye had then appeared and it had blocked the oncoming attack made by Dexer's Buster Sword as "Xehanort" had then said "You said it yourself, this isn't a fair fight, however, it doesn't have to be, since i am the tester of you testees and duss, i am stronger then you all, the question is, just how strong are all of you together?" said "Xehanort", wanting to see what kinds of expectations he will most definately see from the group of kids during this "Exam" of his.

(Tifa is in the Virtual Twilight Town, only "Xehanort" can possibly speak to her right now, if he can. So she can't interact with anyone atm.)

 

Tifa woke up, mysteriously in Roxas's house. "Where am I?" she asked. She jumped off of the bed. She looked around. There wasn't much; stars on the wall, a desk and paper on the desk. Roxas, Hayner, Pence, Olette... Summer School Report: The 7 Wonders of Twilight Town she read. Just looks like homework. She walked out of the room and out of the building. She wandered through the town and managed to find the forest through a crack in the wall. After walking around the woods for awhile she found a clearing and walked up to where the Odd Mansion was. "Hello? Anyone there?" she asked. She tried opening the gate. No luck. After waiting awhile she decided to just climb over. She entered the mansion, walking up the library and into the secret lab. Well is that a broken computer? She walked into the next room and saw an orb. It was the portal to the World that Never Was. She decided not to go in. I'll stay here for now until someone comes. That dark orb in the corner is very suspricious.

 

(Alright I hadn't thought this through. I know one of the rules is you can't leave the world yet. I kept up with the story. I guess she's staying here until we can finally leave the world.)

Using mind powers that he has, "Xehanort" communicates with Tifa through her mind by saying to her "Come.....come to the Clock Tower, your trial awaits here." said "Xehanort", while again, focusing his attention on the group of kids present with him.

Huh? What clock tower? She thought back. She remembered seeing a large clock tower from the central plaza. She ran to the clock tower. As she ran through the places she had passed on the way to the Mansion she started to think. Why am I doing this? What's the purpose. And then she finally got to the most important question. Who am I? Shouldn't she know who she is? She got to the clock tower. "Okay! I'm here. What do you want?" She looked around. No one was there. Nothing was there. No sound. She waited a while. No response. In one last attempt to communicate with the mysterious voice, she yelled "Do you know who I am?" She was hopelessly confused. She managed to go to the right place and everything. The only thing wrong with this was she was in the wrong Twilight Town. She started crying, not even remembering she was a strong young girl, looking for a loved one vowing not to ever cry. "Who... am.. I?" Her voice started to crack. She couldn't hold in the tears. They were flowing out of her like a sink running on low. "Who...?"

Minus swiveled around behind him when he was distracted by Dexer. She made a slash she felt like she had made a million times before. The blade felt some comfortable in her hands, she felt like she could defeat anybody while using it. After the slash Minus back flipped backwards and released some Dark Fire. Where did that come from? She wondered immediately after.

"!?! Oh no.....i must hurry things up." said "Xehanort", as he seemed both surprised and shocked by the Dark Fire and duss, had transformed, with the giant blue eye from before now serving as a Emblem on the back of his coat and his Kou Supreme, now having a very much sharper edge then it did before, now having the power to slice through both people and/or things instantly.

Dexer saw Minus attack and then he took advantage. He tilted his blade pointing it at Xenhort. Dexer then slid into Xenhort and smacked him with the side of his blade knocking him into the air. Dexer then waited for Xenhort to come down, and when he did Dexer punched him in the chest with his metal armored arm. Dexer then flipped back knowing he was close to being sliced. He just hoped he was fast enough

However, "Xehanort" had then started to use his new powers to extend his blade, making it long enough to cut Dexer before saying "Just because i can take the attacks, doesn't mean that you can too!" said "Xehanort".

"No response huh?" She got up and dusted herself off. She sulked for awhile. Wandering around the town again. No one was there. She checked each shop. Each house. No one. Not a sound. She walked back up to Station Heights and looked around. For about 3 seconds she could see a Mysterious Figure standing with kids. "Hey!" She reached out. They disappeared. "What the? What happened?" She started to become younger. What? "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiku! Heeeeey! Riiiiiiiiiku " someone called out. She looked around. It was Sora. Except he wasn't actually in the same world. He was in Traverse Town. "Sora?" she asked. Wait how do I know his name, but I don't know mine? Is my name Riku? she asked herself. Apparently the Realm of Dreams were affecting this made up world inside Twilight Town, which was in the Realm Between. If the Realm Between was between the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness, did that mean the virtual Twilight Town was another kind of Realm Between? A realm between the Realm of Reality and the Realm of Dreams? Yes, of course, it was another Realm Between. She wouldn't know any of this though. "Sora! Where are you Sora?" someone called out. It was Riku. And that's Riku? she asked. Of course they never met before. No he can't be... I'm Riku. Tifa thought. A web of misunderstandings started to form in her mind. She had renamed herself Riku.

 

(Sorry guys, trying really hard to find a logical way to move Tifa to where you guys are.)

Dexer fell to the ground and grabbed his chest. It was bleeding bad. Dexer touched it and darkness oozed around the blood. Dexer held onto his stomach as he propped himself back up on his blade. His blade felt heavier than it did before. He was trembling as he got closer. It was harder to stand and walk around. But he kept trying to stay ready to fight. He could literally feel all the blood drip from his body and run down onto the ground. Dexer's vision was being blurred and shaking in and out. Dexer didn't know how close he was but he reached out and tried to grab Xenhort but was far away. Dexer then got angry and grabbed his sword with both hands and slammed it into the ground. Dark thunder then flew through the tip and traveled ground and blasted Xenhort back
