idk if this is already a thread but why are MX and Vanitas so similar. By MX I mean MF which I heard was YMX and they are so similar its scary. they share the X attack, the attack whee they rush toward you for about 2 or 3 hits, and some others. The weapons u get (Void Gear and No Name) have something to do with time(Void Gear- Gears are in clocks. No Name- has clock design). Why r they so similar if vanitas came from Ventus, they barely have anything in common.

Vanitas was like, a pure dark being, the dark side of Ventus, so, since he was pure darkness, i guess his eyes are yellow because of that. But i also think MX was definitely thinking of him as a good vessel for the future.

When I read this I thought it meant, like, a fanfic pairing between the two : P

but the events in BBS were a failed attempt to create the X-blade and get control of KH

actually the story of 3D made BBS hard to understand in my opinion, what happened to Terra has stayed completely legit but what he planned with Ventus and vanitas is just irrelevant now..

None of this really answers me question. I want to know why they r really similar in BBS not what future plans were

You want to know why they're similar?

 

Because:

A ) They're both original KH characters.

B ) You're over-thinking it.
