(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

Keilani laughed a little. “Not all for me, right? That might be overkill. I think just one of you would be enough to heal these little owies. But thanks for your concern!” She grabbed Troy's face and kissed him on the cheek, then turned and started removing glass shards from her skin.

 

“I think she's right,” Rebekah said to Troy. “But it'll certainly take all of us to heal everyone here. Is that what you meant to say?” She also started helping Keilani with the shards, and inspected her wounds that were small but many. She hoped she was correct about only one person needing to help Keilani, because it took quite a bit of energy to use cure spells.

Troy blushed at the kiss and then rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He'd actually meant for everyone to help Keilani, but looking around he noticed that a lot of people needed medical attention. "Um yeah, of course that's what I meant to say. While you help Keilani, Rebekah, I could probably help someone who just needed a cure spell or two."

(Well, Seichi hasn't really moved since James took off after Mariah, so I guess he's still there.)

 

"Thank you, and I'm sorry." James said. He found a safe place to land and touched down, his wing dissappearing. Still holding Mariah, he turned to her and gently grabbed her chin, tilting her head a little. He closed his eyes and leaned in, softly kissing her on the lips.

 

Sora hugged Kairi back and said "I'm sorry Kairi, I was needed here and got sent to this body. But at least you're here too!" Seichi took over again and his face turned red as he let Arina go and backed away a little. "S-sorry about that." he said. "I'm Seichi, and you probably figured out that Sora is my Inhabiter."

Keilani grinned. Troy looked so cute when he was blushing. She had also caught on that he had actually meant for everyone to come and heal her. He was just the sweetest thing.

 

Once all the glass shards were out, Rebekah turned to Troy and smiled. “Would you rather heal her? I can take care of other people.” She didn't know if it would be all that important to him—really, she wasn't sure how this whole love thing worked, especially between high schoolers. And it wasn't like it was very common for boys to even have the option of using cure spells on their girlfriends. But she figured she would ask anyway, just so his feelings wouldn't get hurt if it did end up being some kind of big deal or whatever.

Mariah kissed James back briefly, then realized what she was doing and pulled away suddenly but gently. “I'm sorry, too,” she said, casting her eyes down. “I think...I think I love Joy more. I always have. The other day, whenever I kissed you, I was thinking of Joy a lot. I felt so guilty, thinking of him when I only should've been thinking of you, but...I couldn't help myself. And I know why now.” Her voice was shaky with emotion—it hurt her so much to hurt James.

Axel took over Felix and shouted towards Seichi and Arina. "Hey, Kairi! Glad to see another good guy on our team. Sorry about that whole "kidnapping thing", ya know? But I did kind of save your boyfriend there or whatever, so I say that makes us about even, right? And Sora, we're good, right buddy?" Axel knew that being involved with the Organization had caused him a whole lot of animosity, but he'd met Roxas, so it couldn't be all bad, and he got to meet Sora twice. Besides that and being able to help out Namine, he couldn't quite bring himself to regret it fully. He also felt like there was someone he was missing, and suddenly thoughts of sea salt ice cream came to mind. At the beginning, even he and Siax had been good friends, until recently. That's when he realized that he felt Siax inhabiting someone in this world.

 

Troy was conflicted. Of course he'd like to be able to heal Keilani, and he did know how to use a cure spell, or Ven did anyway, but he also knew that Aqua would be much better at it than him, and by extension Rebekah. He wanted Keilani to get the best treatment possible, not that he thought the others deserved any less until the "special vehicle" arrived, but she held a special place in his heart. He didn't know if Keilani would take offense if he didn't heal her though. Confused, as boys often are with girls their age, he decided to simply ask her. "It's up to you, Keilani. Would you like for Rebekah to heal you, or me? She's probably a lot better at it than me, but I promise to do my best."

 

Ethan was ticked. That snotty girl was a lot more of a threat than he'd imagined, especially for one who'd looked so weak and vulnerable. "Relax, Ethan!" began Hades, "that's what we have that Scott character for! He's working hard over there training in that other room so that he can take some of the heroes down. When he's outlived his purpose and become all tuckered out, we'll swoop in and take him out, then we'll turn all of those so called "heroes" into zeroes!" Ethan sighed. Hades was right, but still, he couldn't wait to be rid of them all, that way nothing would ever be a challenge again and he could do whatever he liked. He just needed to heal up first. Meanwhile, Scott was nearly done preparing to break into Langley. The CIA would never know what hit them.

Keilani was confused for a moment. She didn't think it really mattered who healed her, but then looking around at everyone else, it looked like she had taken the worst of the battle wounds after all. Which was ironic and embarrassing, because she'd done barely any fighting. “Um, well I guess Rebekah can do it. I know how good Aqua is with magic, and maybe I do need a somewhat stronger spell after all. Though I don't doubt you would do your best for me, Troy,” she added. Rebekah nodded, pointed her Keyblade in the air, and used Cura on Keilani. Keilani was amazed at how much better she felt—it was only after she was healed that she realized how sore she had been all over before. She examined her arms and shoulders, and saw that the scrapes and bruises had mostly disappeared. “Wow, thanks!” she said. She looked at Troy again and skipped over to his side. “Alright, I'll stick with you while you make your rounds.”

Troy, for his part, was practically unscathed. He considered it odd due to the fact that if the plan had played out he would have faced the two in heated conflict while the others prepared to sneak attack, but seeing as Scott and Ethan had both left just a little after they had arrived, followed by two other fellows, one with Ansem Seeker of Darkness and the other with Master Xehanort himself, along with the revelation of Vanitas's true colors in taking over the person he had been inhabiting, things got really out of hand really fast. "Who here needs medical attention?" he called out after Keilani had joined him.

(I guess I'll have Callum and Reilly come back in when we need them. I'm staying on Joy.)

Cloud stood up, still blushing. "Zack. Sorry for not saying anything, but here we are, you alive again. Aerith, too. And of course, now we've lost James. So, how have you been? And what weapon are you using now?" He looked back at Aerith, and realized they needed to go. He jumped up on the chocobo, and the Chocobo got riled up. "Come on, Aerith. Sorry, Zack, but this meeting has got to be cut short. I'll see you later."

"Oh no, you are not doing that again Cloud. I am following you two, come on Xion." Zack said. 'Xion?' Paul asked and then realized that Victoria had not yet come to them. Victoria rolled up on a motorcycle. "Zack get on." Xion said, who had taken over Victoria. Victoria learned how to drive a motorcycle while Xion was with her so they both knew how to drive one. Zack then got on board and Xion rolled right next to the bird. "My name is Xion." Xion said waiting for them to move.

"Are you sure it's you that loves Joy, and not Tifa that loves Cloud?" James asked, feeling the sting her choice brought. He was grasping at straws, not wanting it to be true. He didn't want to be hurt again, and just wanted to be certain.

"Sorry for just jumping like that Seichi. I'm Arina. Kiari just got a little excited and took over. And it's good to see you too Axel, I never really blamed you for kidnapping me anyways, you were doing it for Roxas." Kiari said looking innocent.

 

"Wait a minute...you kidnapped girls to find me Axel?" Roxas scratched his head. "Why did you kidnap girls Axel? That just confuses me a bit? You missed me that much? Geez Axel..." Roxas said through Alex smiling. "It's nice to see you for real Kiari, you do look similar to Namine."

 

"And you too Roxas. You and Sora do look alike. I am glad we both are okay, now we just need to find Riku."

Mariah took a deep breath and looked at James again. “I'm sure. I thought about it a lot. After observing some of the other hosts who have developed relationships with each other even when their Inhabiters don't have special feelings for each other, I realized I could just as easily not have fallen in love with Joy. But I did. I know it probably doesn't make much sense, but... Anyway, I know that no matter how I try to say it, you won't be any less pained. I'm really sorry.” Her voice was reduced to a whisper once more, and a tear spilled over her cheek. She turned her face away; he didn't need to see her crying when she was the one breaking his heart.

"I see." he said, looking down. So it was over. That morning they woke up together in love, and now they were through. And it was all because of Joy. He just had to come back. Riku could sense his dark thoughts and said James, don't think like that, you'll only get consumed by darkness again.

 

"Riku is in someone named James." Seichi said. He turned Alex and asked "So you have Roxas? That kinda makes us like brothers almost."

"Hmh, lets see here, you break his heart and he breaks yours. Love is never easy is it?" Avan popped up behind James and Mariah. "You know Mariah, I know exactly how you feel, I was once in love with someone, who ended up falling for another man. But hey, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Now, it looks like you two may need some help with not having to go through this heartbreak, maybe I can help you two." Avan told them with his voice trying to be normal.

 

(I'm sorry for ruining the moment, I was just thinking that Avan would be like his evil self and try to trick the weak.)

Mariah hastily wiped her tear away and looked at the man in anger. “Excuse me? Who are you, and what do you want?”

James glared at Avan and slashed at him with Skull Noise. "Shut up and go away!" he said. Careful James, that man has Master Xehanort inhabiting him. Riku warned. "I don't care who's inhabiting him!" James said.

Mariah was surprised by James's sudden display of anger, and it even made her a little nervous. “James...?” she said quietly, taking a step back.

Avan dodged the attack. "Hey, why dont you calm down and take it easy? I am on the side of truth, which appearantly you cant see yet, James. Now let me help you two out here, I think I have the perfect way to help with the process of not having a heart broken here. I will just be taking the one thing that start this whole thing, Mariah. Thats right princess, if you cant take breaking someones heart, then you might as well not be around for there to be one. Oh and James, tell Paul that I will get him back for what he did." Avan said. Avan then tried to grab Mariah and force her into a dark portal.

“Hey! I'm not going anywhere!” Mariah yelled. She kicked at Avan's stomach.

"I don't think so!" James said. He dismissed Skull Noise and summoned Sephiroth's Masamune, which then transformed before their eyes. A flame appeared at the end and a keychain appeared on the end. It had turned into One-Winged Angel. He got between him and Mariah and slashed at him again, a dark aura appearing behind him and Sephiroth's wing shooting out of his back.

Mariah gasped in total shock when she saw the Masamune for a brief second. “No way...” she said with her eyes wide, wondering what it meant. She was awed when the katana turned into a Keyblade, this time of a different shape from the one James had been wielding before.

Avan dodge the attacks again. "My word, you dont get it do you? I trained for 5 years just dodging an attack, I dont think you will be able to hurt me. Now Mariah, I hate to be a pain, like a dad, but you are coming with me now or else, I will kill Joy." Avan made out a weird laugh and summoned Dark Symbiote, which went straight towards James.

“I'm not about to let either of those things happen!” Mariah ran towards Avan from the side to punch him.

(What is Dark Symbiote?)

(Dark Symbiote is the heartless that guards Xehanort, you know the big heartless bodyguard behind Ansem SoD)

 

Avan took out Master Xehanort's keyblade and blocked the attack. "If you want to stop me from killing your 1st boyfriend than you better come with me. Also I believe that you are what they call a cheater. So you might want to come with me, or end up dead like everyone else in the world." Avan said.
