(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

"Alright." James said, getting in after her and sitting beside her. He shut the door and looked out the window. He was still pretty happy from what happened earlier, and he hoped his relationship with her would last, unlike with Mariah. He just needed some drama-free time to help him relax.

'While we are lagging i guess i will see if there is anything ediable around here, want to help Mariah? My parents made me take some herbology class last year in school, so i know a few plants that are good for you to eat.'

What should i do Kairi, i want to help Seichi, but i dont want to be in the way of him.

Hmmm, i think i know what you can do, summon your keyblade. You can help heal him, and when he needs it you can fight back.

Arina sumoned her keyblade and cast a cura spell. Her keyblade glowed green, and bells went over Seichi healing him.

Felix started walking into the woods, not his usual dark stride...not at all. He was strolling like a rich kid in a candy store...he was going to tell her, but first...the fire wood.

 

Ethan smiled, he put the car in reverse, and began driving. As soon as they got out of the parking lot he looked back in the rear view mirror, and watched the floor he, James, and Lexi had just been on go up in a flames. His bomb had worked, and he would have to thank his 'family' for the 'gift'. He then played off like he didn't know what was going on by speeding up and shouting, "Holy Shit!! Who did that?! I mean we were just there!!!"

Callum sat in darkness. "So, this is what it felt like to Joy when someone took him over." A murderous urge took him over, and he tried to punch anything in sight, before falling to the ground. "What...what'll happen to me when Ventus arrives, and we fight? That's how the X-Blade's formed if I remember." He stood up, and realized there was only one way to get out. He walked straight into the darkness.

Callum woke up in a bed in an apartment, lightning flashing out side the window. It seemed to be night, but it could be the storm clouds. Wait...this was the real world. He stood up, ready to explore his new surroundings until Vanitas inevitably took over again.

Mariah turned to the boy. “Oh! Alex, right? Um, sure, I’ll help.” Worrying wouldn’t do anything to help her situation right now since there was nothing she could do except wait, so she might as well at least try to act normal. “Lead the way,” she said, gesturing in the general direction where she guessed edible plants would be. As she waited for Alex to lead the way, she unexpectedly thought of James. What had happened to him after she and Joy had kissed? He must have left, unable to bear the sight of it. Well, at the moment, she was still too angry with him for what he said to Joy while everyone believed that she wasn’t awake and listening, so his absence didn’t bother her as much as it would have otherwise.

Rebekah was a little surprised at Felix’s sudden apparent high spirits, but she felt weird asking about it, and so she only followed him silently. As she did, she tried to bury her nervousness by zoning out, and her mind wandered to Callum. It seemed that Vanitas had completely taken him over. She hoped there was a way for him to be rid of Vanitas without being harmed, but it seemed unlikely. Wait, why did she care so much? After all, really the only things she knew about Callum were his name and his Inhabiter. Other than that, he was a total stranger. But he had obviously taken some kind of interest to her, mystifying as that was. Maybe that was why she thought of him--because she was curious as to what he saw in her.

 

And this brought her thoughts back to Felix. If he saw something in her, what was it? Aside from being Inhabited, there was nothing special about her--she was quiet, untrusting, and easily irritated. Felix, though he was sometimes obnoxious and made stupid choices, was a very kind-hearted person overall, too kind-hearted for someone like her.

 

She shook her head and thought of other matters, like how she would dig a hole. She didn’t expect any shovels to just be laying around in the forest, and forget digging with her hands. It seemed like the only other option was to use Aqua’s Keyblade. The very idea was almost sacrilegious to her, but she asked Aqua about it.

 

“Don’t worry, it’s not a big deal,” Aqua reassured her. “Gotta be resourceful out here, right?”

Alexis whirled around in her seat to see what had just happened. “What the--?!” She had witnessed plenty of explosions before, even arranged a few herself, but an entire hotel? It even shocked her. She wondered who possibly could have done it--an old client? A scorned man who had fallen victim to one of her charades? It wouldn’t be the first time one of them had gone after her, but no one had gotten so close before. Maybe, though, it wasn’t about her. She turned and eyed Scott, but hid the suspicion from her face. She might just be paranoid, but this guy made her nervous. She had no idea about his real agenda--there had to be a reason he wanted to take out the other Inhabiters. At any rate, he was extremely powerful, and Alexis was beginning to believe he might also be slightly out of his mind.

 

Whatever was going on, she decided to try to use this incident to her advantage, and deal with Scott later. She acted scared and vulnerable to make James feel protective of her, and began speaking quickly, as if she was hardly in control of the words tumbling out of her mouth. “That was way too close. It could’ve been meant for us, you know? Maybe those other Inhabiters knew we were there and planted that bomb. And look what they did! Bombed a whole hotel full of innocent people just to take us out! How’s that for being such great people? They’re hypocrites!” She then “calmed down.” “No, maybe I’m overreacting. I’m just kind of jumpy after...no, never mind.” She shook her head as she said that last part. “Still, I wouldn’t put it past any of them.”

Alex walked infront of Mariah and started examining below. He needed to look for plants that had a certain leaf. He needed to be careful to not accidentally pick up poison ivy. That wouldn't be goo for anyone. He found a plant that had a yellow flower on it. And another that had a special bulb on it. Alex looked back at Mariah to see that she was distracted by other things. (Go talk to her Alex, she is upset) (I can't talk to girls an you know it) (Well at least try, or are you just going back to your plants) Alex groaned silently, as much as he hated it...Roxas was right. Mariah probably felt bad for many things right now, especially since her boyfriend was captured. Alex walked up to Mariah, and he showed her some of the plants he was finding. "Make sure they don't have sharp edges on th leaves, or spots...it's most likely poison ivy. Hey Mariah are you...okay, you look distracted."

Callum held his head as he walked out into the living room. He noticed someone sleeping on the couch, but he didn't seem to be good. He walked out of the apartment, and into the elevator. He fell to the ground, his head hurting so much. Lightning flashed again. The elevator doors opened on ground level, and he silently made his trek out to the street.

Joy opened his eyes, thanks to the thunder. He groaned, but then noticed something. Vanitas's dark presence wasn't in the apartment anymore. He struggled against his ropes, and they finally loosened. He ran out the room, but as he was about to make it to the door of the apartment, Reilly smashed a lamp against his head. Blood poured down his face, before he broke through glass, onto a balcony. He backed up, and then he tripped over the railing. He felt himself falling, and falling.

Reilly looked down, hoping to hear him groaning on the ground, or at least a crack. The silence scared him. And nothing scared him.

-Sumer

Sumer dodged backwards. He smiled as an idea came to him. He made a 50-foot radius of dark corridor around Sora. If he stepped anywhere besides where he was now, he would fall into the corridor. Falling into the corridor would drop him from 50 feet up in the sky down on to a deserted island. No life for him. "Time to end this!" He yelled. He shot out Inverse Burst, Dark Firaga, and Dark Maelstrom, all concentrated on the spot where Sora was. He would have to move or be killed.

 

-Tudi

"Since everybody else is getting supplies, I guess I'll go hunting. Anybody with me?" Tudi asked the remaining crowd.

James turned around when he heard the explosion and said "What the hell was that!?" He jumped a little when Alexis cuddled up to him in fear and held her close, not really understanding what she was saying due to her speaking too quickly. "It's okay Lexi, we're safe." he said, trying to comfort her.

 

Seichi looked around trying to figure out what to do saying "This is bad." over and over again. Then he got an idea. He took a step back off the platform and grabbed the edge, waiting for the attacks to pass. Then he swung aroud putting his feet on the other edge and kicked off, launching himself at Sumer.

Mariah was snapped out of her deep thoughts and looked at Alex, giving him a small smile. “Oh, I could be better,” she replied, downplaying her feelings of worry and anger and frustration. She began gathering the proper plants according to what Alex had told her. “I just...hope that Joy’s alright.” She closed her eyes and shook her head. “So who’s your Inhabiter again?”

Keilani looked at what was left of their bus. “Hey, I’m going to go and see if there’s anything we can use in there,” she said. “Who knows what would be stashed in a bus like that? There’s probably sleeping bags or pillows and blankets, and maybe even some food and cooking utensils. Wanna join me?” she asked Troy.

To Alexis’s frustration, James didn’t acknowledge what she had said. Was he just ignoring her words, or had he not understood them? Geez, she hadn’t been speaking that quickly. Maybe he had grown up further west, among all the retards who took an hour to form a single sentence. She maintained the fearful expression and glanced at Scott for a split second, wondering if he would help her out. She didn’t set her hopes too high, though, because she was starting to think that he was more unpredictable than anyone she had ever met.

(Sorry Azure, but remember that where they are is pure darkness? He wouldn't know what sumer had done.)

(It may be pure darkness, but the attacks would still be seen. My character needs a way to defend himself, especially in instances where you say he will be killed if he doesn't do anything. How can he do something if he can't see it? It's almost like you're saying he's dead, which would be godmodding.)

(Victoria, Aria, Aria J, and Noel)

 

Victoria had recieve a text that said that the CIA had been taken down and so she didnt have her special technology. "I guess it is back to step one again." She said. Aria and the other two were walking when they noticed Victoria. "Victoria!" Aria said and ran up to her. "Aria? Noel? What are you doing here?" Victoria asked. "It doesnt matter. All I know is, the world is about to be in another war." Aria said. Aria J walked up. "A.....r......i......a......." Victoria was so shocked. Victoria had been there when Aria had died. "Yes, its really me. I was given a second chance in life. Also there is one other thing you need to know." Aria J then put fire in her hand. "You....you're not human?" Victoria asked. "Well, I am half human, half mutant." Aria J said. "Well, I guess that is the most thing to make sense right now. Now last I heard, Avan had stolen Paul and plans on destoring the world." Victoria said. "Well then, I guess we dont have that much time left. Whats the plan?" Noel asked. "The plan is to stop Avan, save Paul, and save the world. And even if we can not save it, we can avenge it at the most." Victoria said. They all then put the hands together in the air.

Avan was at his master computer. "Okay, now that Victoria has no way of showing up. I guess I better leave and do my next plan." Avan said. "Which is?" Paul said with sweating rolling down his face. Paul was in a prison cell that was being heated more hotter than anything else. "Oh brother, I think you know the next part. Get warriors, and have an audience watching what I put on the world." Avan said. Paul spitted, "You will never get away with it! Victoria and Aria and Noel will stop you no matter what." Paul said. "Well then, I say bring it!" Avan said. He then went through a dark portal. He landed in Florida on top of the Disney Esport Glode. "Okay, not where I wanted to land, but not bad. I guess I start where people except to have a fun time." Avan said and laughed.

Joy pulled himself up. He had grabbed a balcony a couple floors lower, and pulled himself up. He limped into the apartment below, and as he was walking to the elevator, it opened to reveal Reilly. "Don't try to escape like that again. You see, next time, you won't survive. And it will be painful."

"My inhabiter is Roxas." Alex said as he scratched the back of his head smiling. "I do hope Joy is okay too, after all...he is our comrade. We have to make sure that everyone is safe."

 

Arina saw the darkness start to surround Seichi, and it was growing fast. "Stop!!" She screed but who would listen to her. (I can't watch this happen, I have to do something.) Arina brought out her keyblade, she aimed it at Sumer. Balls of light flew at Sumer.

(Okay, okay. I was hoping, he would be able to maybe jump over some of ti before waving his keyblade around a bunch. You know, he did deflect all of Xemnas' lasers.)

(You made it clear that he wouldn't be able to do that with the small platform and the large gap.)

(Fine! I'll go with what's going on. Doesn't matter, sometimes thoughts are difficult to translate into words.)

 

-Sumer

Sumer interrupted Sora's launch at him with a shield of dark energy. Unfortunately, Kairi's balls of light made it through. They hit him. Sumer's anger grew. He was getting frustrated. Maybe it wasn't worth it trying to take a hostage. One more try. That was it. He raised his hand and used his dark energy to try and lift Kairi over the pit of dark corridor. "Alright! Either come with me or the girl dies." He said, hoping that Sora wouldn't pull off yet another daring rescue stunt. He opened another dark corridor for Sora to go through if he did choose to go with him.

 

-Tudi

Tudi decided to go hunting by herself after no one took her up on her offer. She stealthily made her way around the forest, looking for deer or rabbits to shuriken.

 

(Not-with-a-whimper, now would be a good time to bring in your new character. Tudi's alone.)

(LOL Not-with-a-whimper hasn't been online in three days... Oh, and sorry I missed what Tudi said about the relatives. )

 

“Yeah...” Mariah agreed quietly. So Roxas was his Inhabiter. She didn’t know who that was, but Tifa seemed to recognize him, though not by name. She said he reminded her of Sora, someone else Mariah wasn’t familiar with. Mariah smiled again. Both Alex and Roxas seemed like nice kids. It was sweet that Alex was trying to distract her from her dreary thoughts. “And how do you like being Inhabited? I assume you and Roxas get along well?” she asked, trying to carry on a conversation.

Felix gathered up fifteen good sized limbs, and sat it down beside Rebekah. "Ok, I've got the firewood all set up. Now...Rebekah I have something to tell you. I know this will sound really weird, but...I've....been thinking a lot about you lately," he said with a slight blush.

 

Scott looked back at them. "Oh my God...that was probably those secret agents. I believe they were called the Jacksons? They've been tracking down people with villian inhabiters on the hunch that we are all bad...they've been trying to kill me for weeks..." he said with a sad sounding voice.

Alex thought for a moment. "Roxas really isn't a bad person, he is kinda like the brother I never had to me. Me and him are similar in more ways than one I guess. But overall, he isn't a bad guy." Alex grabbed another plant he saw. "What about you and Tifa, how are you with her?"

Rebekah felt incredibly self-conscious and automatically put her hands behind her back, which were dirty from evening out the hole she had just dug. It turned out that a Keyblade couldn’t make a very smooth hole in the soil. Her heart quickened at Scott’s words, and she felt her face getting warm again. She tried to sound casual as she spoke, and failed miserably. “Thinking about me?” she asked.

Jacksons... Alexis had heard the name before, but it hadn’t really meant much to her. Was Scott being honest about them? It was hard to tell. Still, she decided to go with it. Maybe it would help their cause of getting James to work with them. She put a horrified look on her face, and said, speaking at a normal pace this time, “Oh, yeah! I think they were the ones who had me followed and tried to finish me off at one point. I barely escaped with my life!” She teared up at the “memory.”

“Usually, we get along really well,” Mariah replied. “We have our differences, but we’re very much alike in most ways. We’ve been through a lot together, and we support each other a lot. In fact, she’s the one who literally kept me alive this past year. Honestly, it’s kind of hard for me to remember what it was like back when she wasn’t Inhabiting me.”

Seichi froze when he threatened Arina. He was willing to risk his own life with the bluffs, but not hers. "Fine, I'll go with you, just let her go." he said.

"I...I can't stop thinking about you...I think I'm in love. With you Rebekah..." he said blushing brighter, "You're smart, pretty, and well....awesome...it's no wonder that I fell for you." He put the limbs in the hole and set them on fire.

 

"That's how they operate. Ineffective, but to the point. Ever since the criminal Cain was murdered their organizations have been following people inhabited by bad guys immediatly thinking that we are bad, but we're totally not! I mean..damnit! I own a casino, I make about thirty-seven million dollars a year, and I give ten million to the world hunger foundation every year!! This is no good!" Scott said loudly. He pulled into the Cracker Barrel parking lot thinking that Ethan would just poof into the old Barrel.

Rebekah’s breath caught. So it was true. He really did have feelings for her. And the way he saw her was so different from the way she viewed herself. How did she see him? Kind. Selfless. Sometimes annoying and irrational, but maybe in a sort of cute way. Not to mention handsome. But the biggest question: did she love him? Either she still wasn’t sure yet, or she didn’t want to admit to herself that she was in love. “Felix...I don’t know what to say...” she whispered.

Alexis wiped the tears away and touched James’s face. “I just hope they don’t come after you, since one of your Inhabiters is Sephiroth,” she said shakily. She put her arms around him tightly before getting out of the Jeep.
