(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

Vanitas sighed. "What do you think? I wish to battle him, and form the X-blade. It's pretty simple. didn't you play the game I was in?"

"Multiple times..." Felix said loudly, "Alright. We're cold, exhausted, and resting. I'd say come back later and fight, but it's totally Troy's call."

“Y-yeah...” Rebekah said. She was now regretting having stood out in the rain for so long, because now her clothes were soaked through, and that meant... She shook her head and smiled, a little unnaturally. “Well, good night! I’ll just, um, be heading off to bed now.” She headed back to the front of the lean-to, where she immediately spotted Troy and Keilani, who each looked like they were on cloud nine.

 

Keilani had taken hold of Troy’s hand when Callum appeared at the campsite...or rather, Vanitas. Keilani leaped up and summoned her Keyblade. “No way that’s happening!” she shouted.

 

Aqua took over Rebekah’s body and summoned her Keyblade as well, and got between Vanitas and Troy. “You’ll have to go through me first,” she said coldly.

Troy leapt up, under the control of Ven, but completely in agreement. "There's no reason to get the others involved then, make a portal and take us far from here. Last I checked, these battles get pretty hectic, and I don't want anyone else getting hurt." Troy turned to Rebekah, patting her on the shoulder and telling her that it'd all be okay, then turned to the others. "You all go ahead and rescue Joy tomorrow. I'll join you as soon as I can." He ended up staring deeply into Keilani's eyes before giving her a comforting smile, then he turned back to Vanitas. "Let's go."

"We getting involved?" Axel asked.

"If we must..." Felix started, then he noticed Rebekah's involvement, and he ran from his post infront of both Keilani and Rebekah. "Alright, and to get to the girls you gotta go through me."

 

Once Troy appeared he just folded his arms and looked at the girls. "It's his decision. He's a tough boy...lets let him do what he needs..." he said calmly...

Vanitas grinned. He opened a dark corridor behind him. "The Sahara good enough for you?" He turned. "Meet me there then. If you think you're good enough to defeat me." He walked through, deliberately leaving open the dark corridor.

“No, Ven!” Aqua exclaimed, completely ignoring Felix. “I’m not losing you again!”

 

Keilani ran up behind Troy and grabbed his arm. “Troy...please...” she whispered.

Felix held his arms out to keep the girls back. "Go Troy, before one of them decides to follow!" he yelled.

Aria drove them off to the street. They passed by a police station. "Did you really think that I was going to just take you to jail?" Aria asked Scott after they had passed the jail. "Oh no, I have much more plans for you to do. My brother, Avan, is about to destroy the world, and if you really want to be behind bars, then you will do this and like it. Then I will be happy to throw you into the hell cell." Aria said.

 

"Okay really, why is it that we can never eat dinner without Big Man saving us, ever?" Aria asked as they were driving to Aria and Noel's home. Big Man had come and saved the day yet again, and now they were all going to the home. "Hey, it could be worst, trust me. When I was famous with Paul, we never got a break, and have much more stories than someone really famous would have. Now if I could get to your house and use your computer, I could probably find Paul." Victoria said.

 

Paul had found that a book was left in his cage. The book was called, "The Red Pyramid". "Okay, so this Carter dude is confused about this mysterious guy, who turns out to be a monkey. Well then, this is one heck of a story. Victoria has to read this, dont you think so Lightning?" Paul asked. The tiger was walking back and forth to make sure Paul did not escape. "Hey Lightning, why are you even with Avan in the first place?" Paul asked it. The tiger then pressed a button and a video was shown about how Avan got Lightning for a pet. Lightning was shown being found at a circus, where Avan had picked it up and saved its life. "Oh, so let me get this straight, you were stolen by Avan and then raised by him to guard over this place. What kinda life is that for you?" Paul asked. The tiger thought for a moment, and then pressed a button. The cage lifted up and Paul escaped. "You're letting me go? Thanks boy, now lets get that happy ending." Paul said. He went to the computer and tried to get ready for Victoria's message.

"Well if you won't help me I'll be on my way, I didn't just destroy the CIA without any skills..." he said laughing. He pulled his hands up without any cuffs on, then busted out the door, and disappeared in a poof of rose petals.

Though Felix’s arm was now between her and Troy, Keilani hadn’t let go of Troy’s arm. But maybe...maybe this was his chance to be strong. Not for her or anyone else, but for himself. She knew that no matter how much she begged, she wouldn’t be able to convince him to stay. She let out a shaky sigh and held back the tears, slowly letting go of his arm. “Alright, Troy, go if you have to. I know you and Ven can beat Vanitas. Just...get back soon, will you?” She snatched a water bottle from the ground and handed it to him. “And take this with you. I hear the Sahara’s a little dry.” She smiled and tried to sound humorous, but her voice cracked.

 

Aqua wasn’t taking any of this. “Felix, stay out of this!” she shouted. She ducked under his arm and started running towards the Corridor so she could block it.

"No stay back!" Axel yelled through Felix. He went to tackle her.

"Hey Axel!! That's a lady!! You can't tackle a lady!!" Felix yelled.

"Watch me!!!" Axel yelled louder.

Vanitas laughed. This fighting over the boy was pathetic. Nothing in the world could stop Ventus's instinct to defeat Vanitas.

"Woah Axel hold it!" Roxas held Axel back. "I forgot how strong you were..."

"No you stop!!" Axel yelled. He disappeared in darkness and reappeared again infront of Aqua, then lunged in a full powered tackle. He figured it would be better to have Rebekah a little bruised than have her get herself killed in the desert.

"Geez Axel. You could have hurt her! Calm down will ya for a second."

Before Aqua knew what was happening, she felt Axel’s arms lock around her arms and waist, and she fell to the ground with a thud. “Ven, don’t!” she pleaded as she tried to fight Axel off.

"Axel you are going to crush her." At this point Roxas was in full control of Alex's body. And all he could process was Troy left to battle and Aqua doesn't want him to.

Troy caught the water bottle and rushed towards Keilani, grabbing her and kissing her passionately before turning back to the portal. "Sorry Rebekah, sorry Aqua!" Troy/Ven shouted before casting a stop spell on her. He knew it wouldn't hold for long, but maybe just long enough. As he ran towards the portal he called out behind him "I'll be back soon!" Suddenly the portal collapsed and he fell face first into the sand.

Aria laughed. "I knew he would do just that, so easy to read." Aria then left up her watch, "Sir, I did what you asked. He disappeared just like you wanted, but I have enough DNA to create a more powerful copy of him. Yes, I will get it to you right away. Yes, my secret remains as a simple girl with powers." Aria said. She then pressed a button and the car transformed into a Ford Exporer. "Okay, lets ride." Aria said headed for her boss' HQ. When she had met up with Aria and Noel, she had recieved a call behind the scenes to report back to duty, and she accepted the offer. Her new mission was to create the most powerful copies of the most powerful villians to live in this world to defeat Avan.

Vanitas smiled. "Finally here to fight, eh?" He summoned his Void Gear. "Let's make this quick. I have an X-blade to make." He tried a basic downward swipe, seeing if it would hit.

Troy rolled sideways in the sand to avoid the blow, then he summoned his keyblade and stood up, coming to face Vanitas head on. He tried a Sliding Dash to close the distance quickly and maybe throw Vanitas off balance.

The moment Troy was gone, Keilani turned and finally broke down sobbing, still able to taste his kiss on her lips. Yes, she was confident in his ability to fight Vanitas, but...what if he did? He could be stuck in the Sahara Desert after that! And then what? Die slowly from the heat and thirst? Then something occurred to her. Naminé...you can use Corridors of Darkness, can’t you? she thought.

 

Naminé knew what she was thinking. Though they had such different personalities, it was crazy how in sync their thoughts were sometimes. “Yes...but I don’t use them that much, and I can’t guarantee that I can get us to the same location where Ventus and Troy ended up. Of course, I’m willing to try.”

 

Keilani nodded. She knew she had to stay out of the fight, and she would wait a while before going to help Troy. But it would seem like an eternity before she could get to him.

(OOC: Troy can actually travel via Keyblade Glider, but it's sweet that Keilani's so worried.)

"Great...we lost another. This is becoming a real downer isn't it?" Alex finally got some control back. "We are loosing numbers, we all have faith in Troy. He can take Vanitas down I am sure of it." Alex went over to Keilani to comfort her. "Troy is strong he can take care of himself, as long as he has our support he will be fine."
