(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

"You sure Callum? I mean, I'd love to have you and all, but...you and Joy are bros!" Felix said looking at the two of them, "but I guess it's ok. I need two more people...I guess we'll just forget voting huh? I mean...the only people I've ever voted for are family members..." He smirked...he hated politics any way.

 

Seichi looked around and then made his decision. "I'd like to be with Jayson's group...he just needs to decide on a lieutenant, but I know he gets three other people..." Seichi said smiling.

Joy smiled. "Whichever you like, Callum. It's fine. I'll take Mariah, of course. If she's up to it. She could be my lieutenant. Whoever else, I'll take anyone." Callum walked over to Rebekah and Felix. He was tempted to ask about the meeting out with Rebekah thing, but she was with Felix know. Felix might get mad, and Callum didn't want that. Vanitas chuckled. Petty love. Callum blushed, then accidentally said out-loud, "Shut up!"

"Fine then, here it is" stated Ethan, not even thinking of his words before they left his mouth. Doing things by the seat of his pants had served him pretty well this far. "Scott and I never kidnapped Keilani. She is Namine's host, so we figured maybe she could do some memory manipulation and erase the consciousness of our inhabitors. We wanted to be able to live normal lives. At least I did. Now I think that maybe Scott just wanted to take Marluxia's power for his own and get rid of the person who went along with it. Keilani seemed happy to help, but then Felix burst in and confronted us, having convinced everyone that we'd kidnapped Keilani. I don't know how he does it, but it's like he can manipulate memories just as well or better than Namine. How else do you explain his meteoric rise within the group? Last year he was no where in the news, unlike some of the others, but he still takes a leadership role? He even tricked Namine into believing that we'd kidnapped her, so Scott and I had no recourse but to run.

 

We met with my sister at the spa and when I heard that she was inhabited too, and by Larxene, none the less, I flipped out. Scott may be crazy, but he was right when he showed you how much trouble inhabitors are in. It's like we've got targets on our backs just for being different. I was glad when you showed up and the two of you got close, because I felt that I could trust you to protect her. Scott played us all and had me kill Marluxia for him in that battle where Alexis was taken.

 

I came to realize that Felix was the one who took her in the first place and abused her for information on the rest of us, especially you, since you're the biggest threat. His family has ties to military and government everywhere, and they want to kill any inhabitors they can't control. Felix..., well he turned her, man. Made her just as messed up and sadistic as that inhabitor of hers, nothing like the girl we knew. Maybe, though, if we're able to take him or some of the others down, we might be able to weaken his hold on their minds and on Alexis's mind. So what do you say?" Ethan asked, holding out his hand. "Want to help me save my sister?"

James looked at him closely. It all made sense now...Felix was evil. He had to stop him, and Ethan was as good a man as any to help him take Felix down.

 

"Alright Ethan. You've got yourself a partnership...I believe you. Just one request...none of the girls get hurt, and Joy is mine," James said in a low tone.

"I know," stated Ethan, inwardly thankful that the kid was as thick as concrete. "Keep in mind that some of the guys, namely the one who looks like Ven and the one with Vanitas and especially the one with Terra are probably in Felix's corner, so if taking them out means keeping the others safe then that's what we'll have to do. After all is said and done we should be able to fix Alexis back and take Scott out before he goes on a rampage and kills any more people. We're a family, now. Tied together by Alexis, the girl we've sworn to save."

 

Troy turned to Keilani. "It's up to you, hun. Where you lead I'll follow," he whispered into her ear as he gently squeezed her hand.

"Yeah...he's gotta die...no matter what," James scowled.

Rebekah and Mariah nodded in agreement with Felix's plan. Rebekah was happy to be Felix's lieutenant, and she grinned back at him. She looked at Callum in surprise when he asked to be on their team, but she smiled and didn't object. There was a warm feeling in her heart...and she realized it wasn't her own, but it was coming from Aqua.

 

Aqua...what's up? Why the sudden happiness?

 

“What? Oh, um...I just think this is turning out to be a good team, that's all...”

 

You mean...you're happy that we have Callum, who's Inhabited by Vanitas, on our team?? I mean, I don't mind Callum, but I thought you didn't want to be around him!

 

“Well, he's a good fighter! And he seems to be able to keep Vanitas under control pretty well...”

 

Rebekah shrugged, mystified by her Inhabiter's sudden change of heart. She was a little disappointed that they had room for only one more person on their team, and she wished it could be Troy...but she could tell that he would never want to be separated from Keilani. Maybe she and Aqua shouldn't need to worry about him and Ven so much, though...

Mariah smiled at Joy. “I'd love to be your lieutenant,” she said. She then looked at Troy and Keilani. There was no way those two would be on different teams, and Keilani would probably need lots of protection. Troy had the χ-blade, which she had heard was incredibly powerful, and he himself looked like a good fighter as well. “Do you guys want to be on our team?” she offered.

Keilani looked from Mariah to Troy and back at Mariah again. “Sure, I'd love to,” she said with a smile. “How about it, Troy?”

"Sounds like a good idea to me. Both of them are great fighters, but neither have a keyblade or can make a dark portal, which is where you and I will come in," Troy responded as he thought through Keilani's decision out loud. Honestly it made a lot of sense. "What do you say Joy? Sound like a plan?"

Felix looked around at everyone, they all seemed really excited and ready to move out. He just hoped that none of them would ever be in any trouble. "Alright, as soon as everyone has gotten into their teams we'll need to go over the final phase...different directions. I'm thinking my group will head down to my home state...good old South Carolina," Felix said smiling.

Alexis smirked. This was more up her alley. On Scott's “go,” she threw each knife at great speed—most of her shots were kills, but a just a couple weren't. She realized that Scott watching her was making her nervous...but she would never admit that to him. “Hmph. Just a little tired, I guess,” she said with a shrug.

Rebekah smiled at Felix again. “I can't wait to see it,” she said.

Callum shrugged. "I lived in South Carolina once. Charleston was pretty." He looked at Troy, who would be on a different team. Sad, almost.

 

Joy smiled. "Sure."

"Oh baby your gonna love it! I know this place that makes great peach cobbler!!" he said smiling wide. "Wait...you lived in Charleston? Did you know Randle White the mayor? That's my second cousin," Felix said with a grin.

 

Scott smirked. "Not bad...they're all dead and in less time that I required. We can skip the next steps. Kill the accountants," Scott said coldly.

"No. I ran away, and that's why I lived there. It was only a couple of weeks." He was uncomfortable talking about his past, but oh well.

"I will be in Felix's group. Im ready for anything those guys throw at us" Alex said with a cocky grin. "South Carolina. Hey wait my parents took me there for a trip once"

 

"I...I will be with Jaysons group. " She said little shyly

"Well, my groups all filled up now!" Felix said smiling. He was happy about who he got, but he was worried about one thing. James was pissed at him obviously because he tortured Alexis, and Alexis was pissed at him for the same reason...his team would need to be vigilant, and lay really low.

“Awesome!” Keilani said, skipping over to Joy and Mariah and pulling Troy along with him...just as she had when they’d first met. “So where are the four of us going to go?” she asked Joy.

Rebekah was impressed about what Felix said about the mayor, and she was just about to make a comment when Aqua unexpectedly spoke through her. “What do you mean?” she asked Callum. Her face went a little red, and she looked down. “S-sorry. You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.” She gave control back to Rebekah before anything else weird occurred. Rebekah’s mouth was hanging open, and she tried to regain her composure. “I think Aqua’s just extra curious about everything right now,” she said, trying to laugh it off.

Alexis grinned darkly. “With pleasure,” she replied. She walked towards the men slowly and decided to do this the old-fashioned way--no lightning, just knives and speed. She lunged at them, kicking into their temples or slitting their throats. “How does it feel, bitches?!” she screamed at them as she took them out one by one.

Scott stood there in amazement, and applauded. "Good job. Now. You can answer my question from before. What do you think it will take to kill your targets, and how do you plan on doing it?" Scott asked.

Callum shrugged. "My mom was drunk half of the time, and my dad was abusive. So I ran away, and Charleston was one of the places I stayed at. I was miserable. I guess that's what attracted Vanitas."

 

Joy smiled. "Probably Ohio. I have some stuff to do there. After getting my leg of course."

Felix nodded. "I know what that's like...both my parents were drunk and abusive...mom died three days before I graduated military school..." Felix said nodding, "but hey. We're all a family now. As long as we've got eachother we'll be doing good."

"Yup, we all have eachother. Someone to help us through everything. After all thats what friends are for"

Alexis thought for a moment about Scott’s question, not turning around to face him just yet. “Of course, it’ll take some planning, as well as strength and endurance. Probably some deception as well. I’d like to take them out one at a time, if possible. See if I can’t mess around with their emotional bonds. It’s obvious that they’re stronger when they’re grouped, which won’t do me a shred of good. I’ll need to separate them if I can, emotionally and geographically, then take out the weak ones first, and work my way up to the stronger ones.” She turned and looked up at Scott with confidence. “That’s how I always carry out my business.”

Aqua felt bad for putting Callum on the spot. She hoped she could make it up to him later. She would need to find a way to apologize to him alone...well, Rebekah and Vanitas would have to be present no matter what, but away from Felix and Alex at least would be good enough.

Rebekah took Felix’s hand and squeezed it. “That’s right,” she said. “We’ve all got each other. So, shall we start heading to the car dealership now?”

“Of course!” Keilani replied with a smile. “You’ll be as good as new in no time!”

"Yeah...alright. Jayson still has his ride back at the hospital, so I just need to get Joy, Victoria, and myself a ride...no problem!" Felix said grinning. He picked up Rebekah and started carrying her down the stairs.

 

Scott smiled. "How painful do you want to make Felix's demise?" Scott asked.

Callum looked at his friends. "I need some fresh air." He walked outside, and leaned against the wall. He couldn't deny his crush for Rebekah, but Aqua was acting strange. He summoned his keyblade, and looked at it. Had it changed to white because he lost his heart? Then why could he have a crush?

 

Joy started to lead his group to the dealer. "Come on."

Alex followed down the stairs after Felix. He sighed as Felix carried Rebekah down, but he couldn't help but smile.

"A lotta them boys have their eyes on you..." Felix said winking at Rebekah, "You're a popular girl." He smiled, and started running towards the dealership...luckily it was just two buildings away.
