Posted April 7, 201213 yr I got super depressed 2 hours into the damn game. Fiora dies and Metal Face has her blood all over it's claws. The music makes it really depressing and intense. MONOLITHSOFT has made the best Wii game of all time. *sniff*
April 7, 201213 yr Thanks for spoiling the game for me. You could have put a spoiler tag on your comment. >_>

April 7, 201213 yr Xenoblade is amazing like that. That was technically the PROLOGUE. After those scenes, you're basically on chapter one.
April 8, 201213 yr I meant for your comment. Not the title. Still, your fault. tutti frutti. I have to agree with Uncle Dolan on this one. He/She technically did put "spoilers" in the title for those that want keep the story hidden from them for their own reasons. I checked it out to see if there was anything that would make me want to get the game myself. Uncle Dolan and Tails how would you two rate Xenoblade for the Wii.

I checked it out to see if there was anything that would make me want to get the game myself. Uncle Dolan and Tails how would you two rate Xenoblade for the Wii. THIS GAME IS AMAZING.GET IT. It has everything. The voice actors are great, the story is interesting, it's graphically amazing, stylistically fantastic. It has great music, mostly done by Kingdom Hearts composer Yoko Shimomura. You have tonnes of customization, more and more as the story goes on. The world is gigantic and begging to be explored, despite being huge, there's plenty to do in every part, and every part looks unique, so you won't get lost too after, even if you do, the game allows you to jump to various parts of each map at will (You can backtrack in seconds, do what you want, and return to where you were without missing a beat) The game has tonnes of optional features, such as a metric tonne of sidequests... per town. I got an achievement (There are ingame achievements, they award you EXPa and the like) for talking to 100 NPCs, and completing a bunch quests (I forget how many exactly, 50 I think) Before leaving the STARTING AREA. Beyond that, you can improve relationships with townspeople and party members, which nets you better items, and allows your party members to share skills, pull of combo moves, and craft stat boosting gems with bonuses. Which reminds me, there's a major collection aspect to this game, which is used to get you money, special items (Through trade or collection completion) and completing sidequests. These items are plentiful, you will encounter plenty going from one point to another (Even if you don't fight any monsters, which reminds me, most monsters are non aggressive, so you can avoid fighting if you don't want to) But then there's a whole new mechanic in there, the ability to see the future. This lets you do things like preempt an otherwise fatal attack from a monster, see when somebody might be in danger, and (My personal favourite) Tell you when an item will be needed for a sidequest, so you can avoid selling it if you want to do the quest. The combat is also interesting, and features lots of interesting ideas. Your characters auto-attack without any input on your behalf, your job is to avoid attacks, and use special moves at the right time to gain an upper hand. Along the way, you are occasionally asked to press a button to cheer on teammates, revive them, cure them of status effects, and to improve your special attack. That's why it's a good thing you don't need to manually attack. And there's SO MUCH MORE This game deserves a ten out of ten (Not going to be silly and say it deserves something higher than ten) It's amazing. Easily one of the, if not THE best games I've played. And what's more, apparently the main story takes and average 80 hours to beat. This game is great. Get it. The only downside is that it will cheapen every other game for you.

The story is well thought out, and it keeps you playing every time. The game makes you think about it's characters and how they feel. That scene I mentioned above is one that I know in particular. They push the Wii to it's limit with the dual-layered 6GB disc and extreme amounts of detail. I have to recommend this game to everyone, even if they haven't bought a Wii. This is why the Wii is not dead yet. If you haven't bought a Wii yet, they're not expensive so go out and buy one, or even wait for the new Wii U, which will play discs actually (Wii and Wii U discs) and that will actually be able to win this generation gamewise. There is nothing that shouldn't prevent you from playing this 100+ hour long JRPG of the decade. (expect money lol) Edited April 9, 201213 yr by Uncle Dolan
